hroughout the entire process. Her skincare-focused approach and attention to detail made such a difference. She created a look that still felt like me—just a more polished, refined version—and helped me choose a makeup color palette that perfectly complemented my features, wedding gown, and florals. My makeup lasted all night, and every one of my bridesmaids loved their look too. I can’t recommend Wild Ivory Beauty enough!
To be fair, I was not a “no-makeup” bride for Brittany.
At first, I thought I wanted a very natural look — but I later realized I was more of an elevated bridal glam bride, and Bri...
ttany never once made me feel bad about that.
She perfected every aspect of my look. My trial makeup was already flawless, and I honestly didn’t think it could get any better… but on my wedding day, it somehow did. There wasn’t a single thing I would have changed.
I didn’t have to do a single touch-up all day or night. My skin was glowing from within, and in every light, every photo, it looked like I had a soft beauty filter on, without ever feeling heavy.
I’m notoriously blush-blind yet very picky about blush looking too strong and too flashy ( a mystery even to myself ) and somehow, Brittany absolutely nailed it. My blush was perfectly diffused, lifted, and radiant, and it lasted beautifully through every moment of the day.
My hair was my own — just more structured and elevated. She shaped each curl and wave individually, letting them fall naturally while staying airy, soft, and full all night long.
Beyond her artistry, Brittany helped me so much with my veil, my overall look, and even tiny details that weren’t technically her job. She wasn’t just one of my wedding vendors — she became a true consultant, a calm presence, and an ambassador for me throughout the whole process.
You’re not only getting a bridal makeup artist when you book Brittany — you’re getting so much more. She’s an outstanding professional, a genuine artist, and an even more incredible person. I feel so lucky to have met her.
And when it came to my small bridal party, Team A — Elena and Stephanie — did a fantastic job. Given the diversity of ages, styles, and preferences, they handled everyone with so much care and talent.
My mother-in-law, for example — the last time she wore makeup was her own wedding day, 35 years ago — and Elena made her look so softly radiant, healthy, and youthful that she actually wanted to start wearing a little makeup daily now!
My mum wanted something soft and not extravagant, but still a bit elevated — with more dramatic eyes and soft contour — and she looked absolutely wonderful. Everyone kept telling her how glorious she looked that day.
My sister-in-laws looked fresh and glowing, and my aunt (65) had the prettiest, healthy pink glow.
And the hair! Every single hairstyle Stephanie created lasted flawlessly all day and night. They were all so happy with their looks. Truly a bridal party dream come true.
Thank you, Brittany, Elena and Stephanie for going above and beyond; for your talent, your heart, and your presence. You weren’t just part of my wedding day, you helped shape how I’ll remember it forever
Brittany is the best of the best!!! While planning a styled session in Charleston, Wild Ivory did both Hair + Makeup and I could not have been happier with the outcome. She went ab...
ove and beyond and treated our “model” like it was her wedding day and likewise with how she executed her hair + makeup! She was timely, accommodating to our schedule, kind, and made our vision come to life. Educating how to prep the bride, both before and after services were complete, put us at such ease! She even sent us with an emergency kit to be able to reapply the lip product used and recover the looks in Carolina humidity! I would recommend again and again!!

ll. Brittany made me look like an elevated version of myself and my hair & makeup held up the whole night. Brittany and her team brought a wonderful and calm presence the day of and made my getting ready experience a breeze. I also had Brittany stay with me through my first look & family pictures which was great so she could touch up my hair and makeup in the heat which was wonderful. I’d 100% recommend Brittany and her team for your wedding!!

managed to help me accomplish 4 different looks for the various occasions which were all stunning!!! I have never felt more beautiful in my life!! She is so personable and accommodating and her team of girls are wonderful, fun, and so professional!! I highly recommend Wild Ivory!!!!

looks. The stylists were professional, personable and VERY talented. They were also fun and we really enjoyed having them with us the entire morning. Brittany especially was very warm and felt like a good friend from the initial meeting. On wedding day, all stylists arrived on time and immediately got to work following the timeline.
I met with Brittany a few weeks before the wedding for my trial and she did 2 looks which helped determine my overall look. Although we were running over the allotted time she did NOT rush me at all.
A month before the wedding, I actually received a botched trim, by another stylist in NY, that I thought was going to ruin my low bun look but Brittany answered all of my many text messages, at all hours, and really kept me calm with solutions assuring me everything would work out just fine, which it did. I’m so pleased I worked with Brittany and would not change one thing with my wedding look if I had to do it all again. Brittany, you’ll be missed and I hope you continue growing and crushing it because you are the best in the business!!! - Nicole

tting me at ease on my wedding day — she is fabulous to work with! The team she brought with her to do hair and make-up for my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law were also fantastic! They all made us look and feel our best and we’re so much fun to get to know! Would recommend Brittany to any bride!

eup trial- while I was trying to find a week I could coordinate this with engagement photos. Both the MUA and hair stylist took note of any feedback I gave for the day of, and went out of their way to make sure I felt beautiful! I had 7 bridesmaids and two family members, and they kept us all on time without feeling rushed at all. Elana was so sweet to all of my bridesmaids and their makeup looked flawless and didn't melt in the summer humidity. Kearsen was amazing- I felt like I was with a friend, and she gave me curls that lasted into the next day. Such an amazing group of talented women!

rush made me feel beautiful while still looking like myself. She did a fabulous job with my half-up hairstyle and it held the entire night (and I have some frizzy curls that are hard to tame). Thank you so much Brittany for your beautiful work!

ot work for me. Every one of my bridesmaids retouched and fixed their makeup after getting done. Their prices are on the higher end (yes, even for Charleston) and in my opinion not worth it. My biggest reason for giving a low rating is that after having my hair done, I wasn’t pleased. I had a half up half down style with a fish tail type of braid- I asked her to readjust the braid because my ear was literally poking out through the braid and her response was that it was too late. She stuck a couple of bobby pins in it and that was it. Now that I’ve gotten to look at my wedding pictures and see what it looked like, I wish I would’ve been more adamant about it and she should’ve been more willing to take the extra time to make sure I was happy with it. I’ve been in this situation with makeup artists before as a bridesmaid and in that case I never made it a big deal, so I get why my bridesmaids didn’t say anything about what they weren’t happy with. However as a bride, I feel that should be priority and am disappointed about the way it was handled.
Brittany is AMAZING!! I do not wear a lot of make-up at all. My now husband had one request for me on our wedding day - to please look like myself. Brittany not only enhanced my na...
tural look but did it so well that I felt truly felt like myself but better. In addition, I had some crazy nerves going and hadn't slept well at all that whole week. Going into the chair the morning of, I was feeling pretty upset by how tired I looked. Brittany pulled out her magic wand ( seriously that airbrush is a thing of wonder) and covered all the dark circles and stress zits (I never get zits but such is life, right?). I also had a last minute hair change with a last minute hair accessory I purchased a week prior. She just bam - did her thing. I looked like a damn wood fairy princess. She also worked with all my kind of insane bridesmaids and was so accommodating with our schedule. Brittany - thank you for being a badass. I wish you lived in Nashville. I'm so grateful for Wild Ivory.

a natural makeup look and used air brushing which creates a lighter look. I asked her to make my hair more smooth and sleek as it can get frizzy in the heat and it looked perfect. Thank you so much Brittany!

nd arrived on time! Brittany came to my tiny apartment to set up for my hair trial, making it all so convenient and easy for me. At my hair trial, Brittany asked different questions and looked at different “inspiration pictures” to help. I have very thick and curly hair, it is a beast, especially when you try to style it. I was very nervous for anyone to work with my hair. Brittany reassured me throughout the trial, making me feel comfortable. When finished we talked about making a few changes and she wrote the changes down. She was so attentive to detail and what I wanted the end product to look like, I felt confident that my hair would be perfect on my wedding day. Before my wedding she communicated with the makeup artist to create a schedule for my wedding day. She was so flexible and made changes to the schedule based on my thoughts.
On my wedding day, Brittany came on time with everything ready to go. She had the notes she took from my trial and made sure I was okay with the changes still. Brittany was easygoing. While she was working she was so easy to talk to and carry on a conversation with. She was very thoughtful. Brittany showed my sister how to take my veil out, so that my hair wouldn’t mess up. The products she used helped with the June humidity in Charleston. Brittany pinned my hair so well that I was able to dance and move without worrying about my hair falling out. I received compliments on my hair throughout the day! I cannot thank Brittany enough for being so helpful, organized and talented!
I chose Wild Ivory Beauty based off their promotion of "natural and simplistic" styles since I don't tend to wear a lot of makeup normally and my face is extremely sensitive. Britt...
any was absolutely amazing and gave me the perfect look that I had envisioned just by talking to her and showing her one picture. My wedding morning actually started out pretty bad, an accident outside the church I was to be married in caused a power outage up until 30 minutes before the ceremony. Not only did Brittany handle my constant tears (Brides are sensitive OK), she also relocated with me to a house 15 minutes away so I could get my hair and makeup done. She's very professional and if it weren't for her adding in "error time" into her schedule I would not have been able to get my hair and makeup done in time for the ceremony. Thank you so much for everything and helping me feel confident and beautiful on my special day! Will 11/10 recommend to everyone!!!

y life, and wanted the same for my big day. Brittany made my vision a reality for both my engagement photo shoot and wedding. Since I was planning a destination wedding, the first time that I met Brittany was during our one and only trial run just before our engagement shoot. Brittany was laid back, care free and immediately put me at ease. She also took time to answer all of my questions and talked through options with my mom as well. Her knowledge and talent was evident from that first meeting, and when seeing the finished product, I knew I had to have her for my big day. I had the utmost trust in her and that decision paid off. To say that my "day of" hair/makeup exceeded my highest hopes is an understatement. I literally have never had my hair and makeup done professionally and felt like I looked "like me" until I met Brittany. In every wedding picture, I can't get over how natural my hair and makeup look and how well it held up without being caked on. She truly struck the perfect balance. My mom and bridesmaids LOVED their looks as well. She was prompt, professional and present every step of the way. I truly loved working with her. Even better, she was a calm, sweet presence when I broke down several times towards the end. If you go with Wild Ivory, you are not only getting such a talented artist, you're getting a wonderful person. There is simply no other way to go. Book sweet Brittany TODAY! xo

ER for my wedding day. I wanted a few changes to my makeup after the trial and Danna was totally flexible and intuitive to my needs/ wants, and basically had already noted those changes herself. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself thanks to her. Also, she stuck around and did my friends makeup. She is personable, fun, and even gave me tips for the big day- she felt like a big sister! I couldn’t have asked for more. If you get Danna as your stylist, you are so lucky!

ll being soft and romantic, and her makeup looks great in photos while still looking natural and not caked-on in real life. She's also so much fun to chat with, which makes working with her even better! I cannot recommend her enough!
Brittany was incredibly to work with! Not only is she one of the nicest people ever, she is incredibly professional and talented. She spent almost 4 hours with me during my makeup ...
and hair trial making sure we got everything just right. I searched high and low for someone who I felt captured my style and the vibe of our wedding so I was grateful to have found her. She felt like part of the crew on my wedding day and had an awesome calm energy and was flexible with us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for beauty services in Charleston! She is the best.
