Hands down, most impressive vendor we worked with for our wedding. They were prompt, professional, efficient, and fairly priced. Our catering manager, D'Avione, was amazing. We did...
n't have to worry about anything on the day of our wedding-- they had it totally handled. Plus, they sweetly packed up the leftovers for us at the end of the night. And, of course, the food was great. Our guests raved about the artichoke dip.
The tasting wasn't scheduled until closer to the wedding. So, when we were getting ready to book, my husband and I went to their brick-and-mortar restaurant in Salem to try the food. If you're in the area, I recommend paying them a visit and trying their dishes.
Wild Pear Catering was recently selected to cater a wedding reception at my venue, Vineyard View Celebrations. I was so impressed, not only by the tasty food (which was served buf...
fet-style) but by the sincere effort made by the staff to make it all the bridal couple expected -- and more. I heard compliments from guests and favorable comments throughout the evening. I heartily endorse Wild Pear and am placing them on my list of preferred providers.
They did such a great job at accommodating our needs, and the food was delicious!!
We choose wild pear because they have a great reputation and use local ingredients to the Willamette Valley. After looking at their website I was impressed by their photographs an...
d was amazed to find out that their food was just as good, if not better. Although, Wild Pear is more expensive than other caterers in the area, it truly has the best value! The quality of the food and the service was the best I've ever experienced. In our first meeting they were so flexible and understanding of our budget. We worked with Ashley and she created several example menus just for us, which was especially helpful because we were overwhelmed with all the options. I brought my mother, sister, and two aunts to the tasting and final meeting and we had an amazing time together. They really made us feel special. Finally, My guests raved about the food at our wedding for weeks after the wedding! We picked salmon and flank steak for our two proteins and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Its hard to put into words how great the food was.
The food was amazing and the owner was more than willing to work with me on the selections. Everything was perfect and I couldn't be happier. I love their restaurant and their cate...
ring is just as fantastic. It was great working with them!

I first went to their restaurant to try out their food, and met wish Ashley who was very help...
ful in planning a menu and meeting the various needs of our family and guests. They had everything.
Ashley was very helpful in the planning process, and she came out to our venue to do planning as well. At the wedding my groom and I did a buffet style and we were specially served, along with already having appetizers at our table before we got their.
Wild Pear was a great experience and one of the most compliments we got at our wedding!
We were extremely pleased with Wild Pear. Not only did we have them cater our wedding, but we also had them for a few bridal showers too. They were willing to come up with the perf...
ect menu for us and even handled a lot of our rentals. Highly recommended!
I was very pleased with my experience with Wild Pear right from the very beginning. They were incredibly professional and accommodating, and are well-known in the Salem area for th...
eir delicious food. So much so that I originally did not think they were within my budget, and I requested a bid more out of curiousity than because I thought I would be able to afford them. I was pleasently surprised to see that the bid for my catering was around $15/person. This included the meal only, and I am guessing was on the lower end of what they are capable of, but certainly provided us with a menu that we were happy with. Their staff was very helpful in setting up, even items that were not directly tied to their catering services. The only drawback was that it seemed like they did not bring enough extra food, and we ran out of some of the items by the time the end of the line hit.
