ntion to detail. For nearly a year, Kate met with me every other Wednesday over Zoom to talk through the timeline and action items. We met remotely since I was in Denver and our wedding was in Austin, however despite the distance, she made every step of the process easy and kept us focused on what was important at that stage of the planning. Additionally, outside of our recurring meetings, she ALWAYS made herself available - any day at any time, she responded to texts and emails within minutes. On the day-of, Kate and her team executed the event flawlessly. Spanning across two venues, 200 guests, and over 20 vendors - Kate managed it all. I felt so confident in Kate that I didn't worry about a single thing that evening and was able to just stay present and have fun! Kate is truly a superhero with fabulous vision, and I owe it all to her to execute such a perfect day for me and my husband. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

When we say she is calm, the weather went from 65 degrees on Thursday to below freezing for the rest of our wedding weekend and you never would have known. She had every detail taken care of and we never had to lift a finger. rviewing wedding planners, when we got off the phone with Kate, we turned to each other and immediately said, "We have to work with her." Her creativity and competence stood out to us, not to mention her energy and professionalism. Our Indian fusion wedding weekend was, to put it simply, a LOT, and Kate handled the complexity with aplomb. She planned a sangeet/welcome party that was essentially another wedding reception, a stunning ceremony, and our actual reception, not to mention a number of smaller ceremonies that required recall of and attention to innumerable details. She tirelessly went back and forth with our vendors to help us negotiate and fine tune proposals, and when we had some serious communication issues with our venue, part of a luxury hotel group, she pulled out the big guns, getting in touch with senior leadership of the group to make sure they were on top of it. At the same time (and without us knowing to save us the stress), she had even secured us a backup venue! One of things I appreciated about Kate most was that while ultimately she would always respect our wishes, she didn't shy away from politely pushing back or giving her honest opinion when we needed or asked for it. This manifested in an event that was truly spectacular and one of kind -- it felt current but also classic, without relying on any of the overly trendy wedding details that you see every day on Instagram. Our friends, family, and even our vendors have consistently told us that it was one of the most stunning, fun, and unique weddings they have been to, and that is 100% thanks to Kate's creative vision and execution. Eternally grateful to Kate and the Wild Sky team for their part in making our wedding weekend some of the best days of our lives.

one. As a design professional, the design and look of the whole wedding was very important to me, but I had realized I could not plan the wedding myself and also run my business. I was drawn to Wild Sky’s website from the start because I could tell design and was important to them too. Their weddings were not cookie-cutter, but creative, sophisticated, and unique….you could tell that Kate drew inspiration from the couples’ visions and the venues, as well as other sources, not just what was ‘on trend’ in wedding design. Kate was very calm and easy to talk to from the get go and from her first conversation it was clear she understood our vision for our big day; a garden wedding and outdoor tented dinner (for 150 people, no small task!). Kate’s initial design ideas for an outdoor greenhouse look for the tent resonated with us immediately! I was still very involved with working through all the details (probably annoyingly so at times), but it was so nice that Kate and her team took the lead on presenting ideas/ options and communicating with vendors. Also, to have industry pros as our advocates throughout the process was invaluable. For example, the flowers were very important to us but I was having a hard time communicating specifically what we liked, and Kate was so helpful/ didn’t make me feel bad when we were on our 4th round of the flower proposal (and in the end the flowers were gorgeous!) As a designer I am also extremely detail oriented and I loved that Kate and her team were too! Kate had great ideas for each detail, down to the way our menu was wrapped to attach to the napkin so it wouldn't fly away. I loved that she was willing and able to work in a high/ low way…for example, we found some great pieces on Etsy to complement the items where we spent morelike flowers, furniture, and a balloon installation. I also liked how Kate pushed me design-wise at times…for example I probably never would have thought to choose marigold colored napkins but they ended up being one of my favorite pops of color! She also had great suggestions for subtle lighting to enhance the spaces and took the time to meet with the lighting installers (as well as the wedding venue team) ahead of time to make everything was fine tuned just right. She understands that making a memorable night is also about setting the mood/ lighting/ making everything feel seamless. Kate and her team even packed up all of our intricate wedding guest welcome boxes the week of our wedding when there was no way we would have had the time or energy to focus on it! When the wedding day came I was able to fully relax and just focus on the day/ my new husband/ our guests knowing that Kate and her team had everything under control and would be as picky as me about making sure every little part and piece was straight. Kate and her team worked so hard on our wedding day making sure everything was pulled off without a hitch. We will be forever grateful to Kate, Liz, Bridget, and Marta for helping make our day even more wonderful and better than we could have ever imagined. We highly recommend Wild Sky without hesitation to anyone who is looking to throw a beautiful and unique wedding, or any event for that matter!

We received so much positive feedback from the level of detail and creativity behind the entire day to what great shape the property was in following the wedding. She juggled communication with me, my family and my fiancé’s family throughout the entire process and brought incredible vendors to the table. For an event in the middle of nowhere, guests literally asked us if this is normally a wedding venue due to how seamless everything appeared. Every single detail down to the most granular level was done with perfection. On the day of, Kate and her team made sure we had everything we could possibly need (literally, even an emergency wedding kit that included things you would have never thought of). I had multiple people from our wedding party, guests, family, and etc. tell me how amazing Kate was- the compliments were endless. Our wedding weekend is something we will remember for a lifetime, and we have Kate and Wild Sky Events to thank for that.

Kate is a creative mastermind and Bridget is an operational genius. They could probably rule the world! Unlike a fairy godmother, WSE doesn’t have a magic wand. Instead, they put forth the work of 1,000 people, day in and day out to build a fairytale wedding that was out of this world! WSE unburdened me of all the thousands of details that go into planning a wedding and broke everything down to make the process as easy as possible. Though they have many clients, they make you feel like you are the only one they’re working with. They are not only professional, but genuine and kind. They don’t make you feel like you’re a customer, but a true friend. Our wedding party and guests even commented about how wonderful they were! I would recommend them a million times over and can’t thank them enough for being so unbelievably amazing!

They worked diligently to make sure that every single detail of the wedding was exactly what I had envisioned, and boy did it show. The day of the wedding this team was a godsend. Marta literally sewed my two piece dress together after a bit of a dress disaster and was completely calm the entire time. Due to rain the team enacted our plan B ceremony & I believe it was more beautiful than our Plan A would have been. From the dress issue to letting us sneak peek the reception venue to putting together a box of our desserts in our getaway car Wild Sky is completely thoughtful in every single thing they do. They know how to deal with any situation that could possibly come up and are calm and rational throughout it all. I couldn't recommend them more. e one for me. Our wedding was an absolute dream and went perfectly because of their amazing team and all of the forethought that went into every little detail. I could go on and on about everything Kate did that was above and beyond, but it would take until our next anniversary. Together, we planned an unbelievable wedding at the Four Seasons in Austin for New Years Eve and our guests say it is one they will talk about forever. My parents and I were especially over the moon about having Kate and her team to take the lead going over logistics, negotiating with vendors, dealing with guests, eliminating unnecessary costs, fixing small issues, coordinating everything and even following me around the day of the wedding with cough drops in hand. As a control freak, I was initially terrified to hand over the reigns, but Kate’s organization skills, attention to detail and one step ahead mentality blew me away. I have never felt more at ease with all of her wedding experience tips and tricks that helped make our planning and day flawless. There are too many people to thank for our perfect day, but the biggest thanks definitely go out to Kate and her team at Wild Sky Events, they exceeded our expectations in every way.

It was super easy to communicate via email and phone, and all other details like invoices, budgeting, and timeline were kept very organized and tracked electronically. On the day of our April (semi-outdoor) wedding, a cold front came through and the temperature unexpectedly dropped down as low as 40 degrees. Kate and her team saved us from what could have been an incredibly stressful situation by adding portable nice heaters, supplying pashminas for guests, etc. I’m sure it was a ton of extra work but the execution looked effortless. Most importantly, Kate is incredibly down to earth and fun to work with. I met the rest of her team the weekend of the wedding and they were very sweet and helpful as well!

Kate was always on top of answering my questions and flexible with whatever was decided. It's also worth noting she is not afraid to share her past experiences and advice, which was spot on so many times. On top of all that, she has an artistic eye for detail that can't be beat. There were so many aspects to our wedding decor that we didn't think about or couldn't have possibly planned ahead of time that she put together the day of the wedding so beautifully. We had so many people tell us that our wedding was the most beautiful and fun that they'd ever been to! She really was key in bringing all of my pinterest ideas to life and pulling them together in a way that made complete sense. Kate has such great ideas and is so very generous with her time. We had a lot of issues that were non wedding related but that effected the scope of our wedding. Kate was so calm and helpful in figuring out how to work around these issues and come up with alternative plans that would have been equally amazing if we had had to implement them. I loved that she was always available to meet and chat through plans - no limits to how many (millions) of emails were exchanged in the year+ that I worked with Kate. She even helped plan our rehearsal and welcome party, as well as our post-wedding brunch and everything was super smooth and beautiful. Not knowing who to call, we read reviews and my daughter contacted Kate Goddard at Wild Sky Events. There was an instant connection on the phone and we immediately hired Kate which turned out to be the best decision of the entire process. Kate is calmness and enthusiasm which is exactly what you want in your wedding planner. She comes at the entire process with a "Can do" attitude. Kate makes sure you get the best vendors, within your budget, checks all contracts for accuracy and leaves no detail to chance. She provided us with a detailed time line so that we knew what decisions needed to be made and when we needed to make them. Kate is also generous with her time. There are unlimited emails and she was always available to meet with me when I came into town. Now to the week of the wedding. Kate was there for us 100% the entire week of the wedding. On Friday afternoon she decorated for the welcome party, then she was at the church for the rehearsal and ended up running the rehearsal when the church's wedding coordinator couldn't make it. As we left for the rehearsal dinner, she dashed over to the welcome party venue to make sure everything was in order and running smoothly. Kate stayed for the duration of the party and even cleaned up after we left. On Saturday, Kate started her day by delivering lots of food and drinks to the bridal party so they could eat between hair and makeup sessions. At the church she made sure we were in our right places, made sure all pictures were taken and that guests were transported to the reception. The reception venue is where she really shined. We were thrilled at how Kate fulfilled our vision for the space. It was simply stunning. I still get tears in my eyes just writing about it. It was one of those venues where everything had to be brought in so there were lots of moving pieces and details and every one of them was perfect. The whole night was a wonderful blur with Kate and her team running the show. There were no unpleasant surprises, no catastrophes and best of all no stress! I know this is a long review but I wanted to give specifics so that if you are like us, apprehensive and uncertain as to how to go about planning your wedding, you will have confidence that in hiring Wild Sky Events you will ensure wedding happiness.
