Even through a year-long delay and having to postpone our wedding due to Covid, Brian stood shoulder to shoulder with us and helped us stay strong through what was a very trying time. And my goodness, how that made the day all the better. I can't believe how good he is at getting the perfect shot, but also at capturing the perfect moments, and all while being practically invisible! There were several moments throughout our time with him where he'd be there for one moment laughing beside us, then would vanish when all I could focus on was my husband. ok him: 1. He is SO creative. Many photographers will be able to capture beautiful shots of your day, but Brian not only does that (and does it well), he also finds magical, unique, creative shots that no one else would think to get. Those are the pictures that you want hanging on your wall! Our friends and family were stunned by both our engagement and our wedding pictures and I'm having a hard time choosing which ones to turn into a canvas. 2. He instantly feels like family. We were so comfortable with him right from our initial meeting because of his incredible personality. He is positive, upbeat, friendly, and is able to build genuine connections so quickly. He made us feel so special and that he genuinely cared about us, not only as clients but as people. Our entire family RAVED about him on our wedding day; after he left everyone said they were sad he was gone and wish he could've stuck around to hang out! He worked well with our young nieces and even got my fiancé's dad to smile in a picture, a rare feat. 3. He is EFFICIENT. We did a one hour engagement session with him at a park and he had us in 10+ different locations and got hundreds of amazing pictures. He gave great direction and posed us well, and got the shots he needed in a very timely manner. On our wedding day, it was -15 to -30 degrees and because of that, we didn't have as much time as normal to be outside taking pictures. For your typical photographer, that might have been a problem but not for Brian! He still managed to get hundreds of great shots in a variety of locations, and he did it quickly which we were so grateful for! Also, he kept up an amazing attitude all day despite the cold. All in all, we could not have asked for a better experience! I've gotten compliments on my pictures from what feels like everyone I know. Highly, highly recommend choosing Brian as your photographer!

Brian used the property to the fullest and ran up and down the hill (even standing on chairs/posts) to get the best shots! He is so energetic and light hearted, and his attitude is infectious! We thought we’d feel awkward taking photos but he made it such an easy/natural process. as 5 star reviews for a reason! What really sold us on Brian from the start was how his work doesn't look forced, "fake" or posed - it looks natural. He doesn't take pictures - he captures moments. Looking through our photos (that he finished 5 weeks early!), we couldn't be happier. He captured so many precious (and unexpected!) memories in a manner that rings true to who me and my husband are as a couple. He arrived early, was friendly and outgoing, stayed upbeat and positive (which says a lot because we took all our photos outside and had our ceremony outside in like 19 degree weather with wind!) and he ran around like a ninja capturing everything! Honestly, from now on, whenever I hear someone even mention the words wedding or engagement my response will be, "Do you have a photographer, yet?! I know the BEST!"

He (and Ginger, who we hired as a second photographer - also amazing, sweet, and fun to work with) worked so unbelievably hard to get some once-in-a-lifetime moments for us. My parents happened to be dropping something off in the venue right before I was supposed to do first looks with my now-husband, so he pulled them in and captured some first look shots with my parents, which they were so grateful for. Our venue had an amazing view of the city, and he came and grabbed us right after we finished our salads to get a couple of shots with the most beautiful sunset as a backdrop. He also made sure that my husband and I took a couple minutes with just the two of us to take in our wedding day. It was so hectic, and looking back I really appreciated that he made sure to make that space for us, because we might not have stopped to take it if he hadn't been purposeful about it. He makes sure the day is about you and your spouse and your love for each other. He makes everything a comfortable and fun, and he does all this while giving you memories you'll cherish forever. Side note: We did outdoor pictures before the wedding, and we got some really cool shots, but I ended up with some dirt on the train of my dress. I was trying not to freak out, but Brian picked up on it and immediately helped calm me down with just his positive energy and reassurance (and he was totally right, it wasn't a big deal). That's the kind of guy you'll be glad to have around that day. Just saying - he's the real MVP
