Jenn made planning our ceremony and the photography session so easy and stress free. Meeting this duo in person just reaffirmed our decision to elope was the right choice! They never felt like strangers and were always kind and exciting to spend our day with. We received our sneak peeks not even 48 hours later and we were speechless. ement to feel like. About six weeks before our wedding, she took time to get to know both me and my husband individually and as a couple, asking thoughtful questions that helped her fully understand who we are and what mattered most to us.
After that initial call and questionnaire, Anika promptly sent a ceremony outline that was intentional, affirming, inclusive, faith-centered, and deeply loving. Every detail we requested was included, and she was incredibly helpful in answering questions and refining the ceremony so it felt authentic and personal. Wilde Heart Weddings also assisted us in locating the perfect on-site elopement location in the Salt Lake area, Cottonwood Heightsāand it truly became a winter wonderland when it snowed during our ceremony.
Full transparency: with this being a holiday-season wedding, there were a few minor communication mishaps along the way, but nothing that caused concern or alarm. What mattered most was the outcomeāand Anika absolutely delivered. She honored every detail we asked for and improvised with grace when needed. When our unity sand materials arrived broken and with the incorrect monogram, she handled the moment seamlessly and with such calm professionalism that it never felt stressful.
Our wedding was planned in less than 90 days, yet Jenn and Anika made it feel as though weād had an entire year to plan. Everything flowed beautifully. Their teamwork is effortless, and their warmth is genuine. Anikaās brother even assisted as a witness, helped with setup and breakdown of changing tents, and handled our ceremony musicāabove and beyond in every sense.
After the ceremony, they stayed to celebrate with usācake, champagne, a toast, and time spent together. It felt less like a hired service and more like being surrounded by friends and family. Anika later shared that this was the first and only ceremony she has ever cried during while officiating, aside from her best friendās wedding. That alone speaks volumes.
When choosing an officiant, it was important to us that God was at the forefront while also ensuring our love and relationship were fully respected and valued. We had regular Zoom meetings and would work together on the ceremony vows via Google Docs where she gave input and feedback and made sure everything flowed well and sounded good.
Jenn was also very flexible with meeting times - while I was planning the wedding I was also working full-time and was in an online Master's program and so she was accommodating with my schedule (which I was and am super thankful for!)
Jenn helped my husband and me with getting our marriage license - which was a HUGE help. She submitted our marriage license for us while we went on our honeymoon and sent us a certified copy of the marriage certificate when we returned home.
