I feel like I hit the absolute jackpot with Wilderness Ridge for our wedding reception!!! Brittney and her team did an absolutely incredible job making our day extra special and full of thoughtfulness every step of the way. From accommodating special requests for wine, Scott custom making Espresso Martinis, a beautifully decorated bridal suite complete with snacks and champagne, printing custom menus and bar signage, to the FOOD!!!! The FOOD was just incredible. And just all around superb service for our guests all night long from Brittney and her team. We really didn’t have to worry about one single thing. Our guests are STILL talking about how amazing the food was and perfectly cooked the steaks were (for context we had 190 people individually plated entrees and at least 80% were steaks!). You can’t beat that perfection. Wilderness Ridge absolutely nailed it.

Wilderness Ridge was a wonderful option and the perfect venue for us. Caitlin was our coordinator, and she was absolutely incredible. She was so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. There were a couple hiccups, which are bound to happen. The golf club lost the boys’s reservation for the morning of the wedding, and the linens showed up wrinkled. However, once Caitlin showed up, she was on top of everything. She helped my grandma/decorator iron them, and she gave us a gift card to make up for the golf mixup. She checked on us throughout the day, but the huge act was finding us a traveling notary the day of because I am not originally from Nebraska, so I missed the notarized signatures on the marriage certificate. Caitlin went above and beyond, which only added to the beauty of the venue. I highly recommend. We loved it!

Wilderness Ridge is an incredibly beautiful venue, even if you're not a fan of golf! The outdoor ceremony space is magical and nicely shaded by a huge tree. And the reception room is so cozy with access to a great deck.
The food options are great and we'll priced. My only wish is that they had a per person unlimited alcohol package versus charging by drink/keg/bottle.
Aside from having our venue coordinators change twice during our planning process, we had a pretty pleasant experience preparing for our event. Tami was our final contact and she made sure our final months of planning (all around COVID) were as smooth and joyful as could be.
And our actual wedding day was beautiful!

We had an incredible experience with Wilderness Ridge for our wedding reception and could not recommend them enough!! Caitlin was so great to work with! She answered all of our questions up to the very last minute to make sure everything was perfect making the process so easy and stress free. The atmosphere of the Yellowstone Ballroom was perfect for us and exactly what I imagined. We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was and the service we received throughout the whole night was awesome. I am so glad we were able to have our reception at Wilderness Ridge and would definitely recommend to anyone!

A guest caught a MOUSE eating our wedding cake during the reception. With 100 people, lights on, and loud music, a mouse was comfortable enough to get on the cake table and eat one of our sliced pieces of cake. We have been told that they have documents showing the pest control they had in place but clearly there is some problems with their pest control. Word eventually got around to all of our guests which was very embarrassing because our guests did not feel comfortable eating the food.
Before word spread about the mouse issue, guests were asking us why the food was already taken away. I assume there is some restrictions on how long food can be left out but the amount of time we had for our guests to eat what they wanted was not sufficient. We also paid for a late night snack that was only available for a short period of time and seemingly only a couple guests were able to try it before it was taken away. The purpose of this snack was to allow people to eat this and sober up after a long night of drinking.
Lastly, we had very little communication with the event staff leading up to the wedding. We had to reach out directly to the staff to try to make sure things were being planned correctly.
Overall, the venue is beautiful, the food was very good. But due to the rodent issue, the embarrassment we have for our guests, and the limited communication we had from the event staff; the premium price we paid for this venue was a tough pill to swallow.

Don't look any further—Wilderness Ridge will make your wedding-day dreams come true! Isabel, the coordinator, is polite, timely, so nice, and accommodating. We had fireworks, a champagne tower and a cigar bar as other activities than dancing at our wedding, and Isabel made sure we could accommodate all of it. We also had our wedding in the Yellowstone ballroom and they switched over the room from the ceremony to the reception in less than 30 minutes! The entire grounds are so beautiful and perfect for pictures. Highly recommend Wilderness Ridge as your wedding venue!

Wow!! Wilderness Ridge, Isabel, and all the staff were amazing! It was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The attention to detail was far above what I could have asked for or imagined. From beginning to end, Isabel was helpful and friendly going above and beyond in communicating and giving advice. From our initial meeting to emails and phone calls throughout, I always felt stress free and in good hands. Even with the flooding that weekend and our plans somewhat up in the air for a few hours, Isabel reassured me and worked with me on a plan B if needed, even offering Wilderness Ridge as an option for our ceremony if the church was unavailable due to the flooding. Fortunately it all worked out and we were able to proceed with our original plans.
The decorations that were provided allowed me to create beautiful centerpieces and saved me so much money. Every bride would be impressed with the level of service and all that is included in the price of the room. On top of all of that, the amazing selection of food and service can not compare to other places. Several of our guests commented on the beautiful room, elegant decor, and delicious food!
At the end of the night, we even received a thank you and well wishes for our marriage along with a gift from Wilderness Ridge!! Simply perfect in every way!!! You will love everything about choosing Wilderness Ridge for your next wedding, reception, or event!

Wilderness Ridge was wonderful in every way. Not only is it a beautiful setting, but the excellent service and attention to detail helped make our daughter's wedding a wonderful experience. From our first meeting to the night of the wedding, communication was prompt and clear. The day of the event, every one at Wilderness Ridge treated us with respect and attended to every question and request. The food was incredible. Our guests continue to comment on the hor d'oeurves and the buffet. The presentation of the food was excellent as well! There is nothing we would change and are so thankful we chose Wilderness Ridge!!

We planned a wedding reception for our son and daughter-in-law at Wilderness Ridge. The ballroom was a perfect setting for this event. Isabel Reichel was delightful to work with. Our guests enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. It was a night that we will always remember.

We had our wedding here on NYE 2018. It was spectacular and that was partly due to the amazing venue, food, and staff. We worked with Isabel who was amazing to help us plan out our event and stay in contact with. We had so many compliments on our venue and it's beauty. The food was also amazing and we did stations. Everyone was very impressed! Thank you Wilderness Ridge for helping make our day amazing!

I am so thankful we chose this venue. Jordyn was just absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She answered all my questions (regardless of how odd they may have been) in a timely manner. We even needed to move the wedding back and it was effortless. The day of, we worked with a Cody who was in charge of the serving and bar staff. All I can say is wow. The entire staff was so friendly and no one went without beverages. We had so many compliments from our guests and just an overall great experience.

BEAUTIFUL place to have your ceremony and reception. Jordyn and the Wilderness Ridge staff are so helpful. We moved out of the state halfway through our engagement and the staff accommodated us for tastings, viewings, etc. There food is amazing and staff is extremely friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of Wilderness Ridge! Thank you for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams!!!!

We had our wedding ceremony on wedding island, and our reception in the Yellowstone room for 260 guests. It was beautiful. I think rental prices are extremely reasonable. I gave them a 4 for the value category merely because I didn't think the food was worth what we paid. We probably used the cheapest option for food, and it was about $26/plate. They also have very strict, but strait forward, rules towards outside food/beverage - there is absolutely none allowed... doesn't matter what it's for. Now, since wilderness ridge and employees provide linens, tables/chairs, silverware, and setup for no extra charge, I think the higher food cost seems a little more reasonable. They have tons of napkin colors to chose from, limited table linen colors. As far as alcohol, keg beer was at a comparable price to other venues ($275/keg for Bud Light) and mixed drinks were from $5.50/drink and up. They were easy to work with as far as setting up how we wanted to pay for our alcohol - we did a "capped" happy hour and free keg beer for the whole night.
Overall, I loved the setting for our wedding. I think a bride a groom with a little more money to spend on the venue could take more of an advantage of everything Wilderness Ridge can offer. The largest expense of our wedding, by far, was the food. The food, venue rental, and alcohol total ended up being around $14,000 for our wedding.

We loved our ceremony and reception at Wilderness Ridge, it was absolutely beautiful. The food was fantastic and the room was clean and well put together. The only thing I would mention in a negative light is the lack of communication. The day of the wedding there was nobody to speak to about set up until less than an hour before the wedding. Everything was set up as the contract stated but it was a bit stressful. That was a minuscule issue, the day was perfect and everyone raved about the beautiful venue, amazing food, and fantastic staff. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

I had my ceremony and reception at Wilderness Ridge and everything was fantastic. The Yellowstone room is just beautiful and you wont need to spend much money on decorations because it barely needs any! Food was great, service was great and the wedding coordinator and staff was wonderful! Highly recommend for your big day!

From the venue to staff our experience was excellent! The events Manager is easy to work with and is very knowledgeable. The venue gave us the rustic Colorado cabin feel that we wanted! The food was to die for. It was a big hit with all our guests. There are LOTS of great places for photos around the place. Would book here again if something comes up!

At the time of booking, the consultant left some valuable information out. When it came to pay the total, we ended up.paying twice what we were orginally quoted at.

Very disappointed! A few weeks before our wedding they told us that another couple would be using our ceremony site for rehearsal an hour before our wedding and that we couldn't decorate until after they were done. They also didn't discontinue golf during our ceremony as in the contract and we clearly heard golfers cussing and yelling during the service. Both were huge breaches of our contract and they had nothing to say or apologize for.

Absolutely stunning venue, fantastic food, did not have to do much decorating there. Only negative was an error with the champagne toast (poured 200 glasses, which would have been ALL of the guests, including children; instead of asking which people would like champagne).

Wilderness Ridge couldn't have been a better place to have our wedding reception! Robyn was wonderful and took great care of us! I had numerous people walk up to me and tell me how beautiful it was, how great the food was and how good the wait staff was. I couldn't agree more! Not one time did I see an issue, and if there was, Robyn took full control of the issue. Thank you Wilderness Ridge!

The night of the wedding when I was paying the bill they told me they owed me $12 but then when I went back to pay up the bill for the reception they said I actually owed them $450 because I hadnt met my room minimum for food and beverages. I said Im not paying you $450 for something I didnt receive. So they gave me wine. My husband and I dont drink wine. Our guest list was for 220 people (which is the max for the largest room) and we had 2 kegs and the soda. Yet we didnt meet the room requirement for food and beverage. They expect to much. also they sock a 20% charge on everything which means your paying about $2000 extra overall. Really beautiful location but I wouldnt recommend it.

Our wedding was beautiful! We had our ceremony on the Wedding Island and the reception in the Yellowstone Ballroom. The only thing about the island that was problematic was that the chairs were dirty, and when we asked (several hours before the ceremony) for them to be wiped off, we were given a rude response that it would be done later...it never was...the chairs were still dirty when the guests arrived. Robyn was great to work with while planning the wedding, however, the day of the wedding she seemed annoyed at having to do stuff for us (like get out the candles and stuff for the tables) and then disappeared right before the ceremony started. The lady who was in charge the rest of the night (whom I never met before that night) was not a pleasant person to us. The other thing that really upset me was that our reception was supposed to go until midnight & the staff started to clean up, took all the center pieces off the tables and was VACUUMING at 11:30pm. We paid til midnight, so I thought that rather rude! The wedding was beautiful and the location and food and atmostphere is amazing, but the people who work at Wilderness Ridge could stand to be a bit more accommodating to the bride and groom...especially considering the amount of money spent!

This outdoor ceremony location is BEAUTIFUL! It was the perfect setting for my wedding. The tree provides good shade on a sunny, hot day. Our guests were not uncomfortable. The only drawback was the sap coming off the tree did get on some of the chairs just before the ceremony and one spot on the train of my dress. The service was not as expected. Needed to be more accomadating to our needs the day of the wedding.

Wilderness Ridge was a great place to have my wedding reception. Their coordinator, Robyn, was fantastic to work with! The food was out of this world, and the venue turned out really neat. Only downside is how much you have to limit your guest list. Otherwise, fantastic location!

We were married on the Wedding Island at the beautiful golf course. It is a great place for a ceremony and/or reception (if you have less than 200.)
