Wildflour Cake Design

Wildflour saved our day, we had originally contracted a different local baker for our wedding cake. However the company made a business change and then just three months before our wedding we were searching for a new baker. Wildflour was booked solid, they heard about our situation and offered to help. From our tasting to our wedding cake everything was taken care of and delicious! We were blown away with all the flavor combinations and how yummy each cake was. It was not an easy decision to make but we opted for a three tier lemon blueberry with lemon buttercream. Our guests loved it! Asa and her team delivered the cake to our venue and decorated it with the flowers set aside by our florist. It was beautiful. It was so nice to not have to worry about the cake, we trusted Wildflour and they did not disappoint!

Asa was wonderful to work with! Honestly, my husband and I aren’t even huge fans of cake, so when it came down to planning for one, we weren’t terribly excited…until I found Wildflour. Firstly, let’s talk about how stunning any of the cakes are when you look at all their photos - I was instantly sold on looks alone. Secondly, we went for our cake tasting (again, not expecting much since cake isn’t our thing), but let me tell you….Asa’s cakes ARE our thing. We ate almost all the different cake samples at our tasting and then proceeded to eat what little leftovers we had as soon as we got home. Thirdly, options. Not only did we have a beautiful two-tiered semi-naked cake with Asa’s beautiful hand crafted sugar succulents, but we also had two different types of cupcakes AND macarons. Asa truly delivered for our wedding. I can’t rave enough about the experience and our guests were equally as impressed. I was asked by at least a dozen of my guests who made the cake and how phenomenal it was. From start to finish, Asa made the process so easy, detailed, and downright delicious. Coming from a couple who doesn’t like cake….I only want Wildflour’s cake in my future.

Asa at Wildflour Cake Design was wonderful to work with. The cupcakes and cake for my small wedding in Maine last month were perfect for the occasion. The desserts were beautifully created with fresh flowers and blueberries on top. Wildflour helped make my wedding vision a reality! The whole process was smooth, from cake tasting to picking up the order the day beforehand for transport to my venue north in Millinocket.

As a covid bride planning a wedding has brought me no joy. After canceling our wedding twice I just did not have the energy to keep it going. Asa the owner of Wildflour Cake Design totally took over for me and I am so lucky she did. She brought the vision of what I had wanted for my original wedding through her design. The cake was smaller but what it lacked in size Asa made up for in design. It was a beautiful tall cake. Edible stone gummies with edible gold paint, flowers and a sugar splash topper made the cake something out of an instagram dream. When you have a small wedding all the details matter. Having someone care as much Asa made me feel special and I cherish her as a vendor

Asa is fabulous! I'm already trying to find another excuse to get a cake from her! Our wedding cake was beautiful and by far the tastiest cake I've ever had, I am so happy I found her! We choose the almond wedding cake with buttercream and raspberry filling, oh my was it delicious. Highly recommend if your unsure of what flavor to choose from! The whole process left me stress free as it was all digital besides the tasting, absolutely a must for a last minute bride. I appreciate all the care she put into our cake, highly recommend her services!

Asa was an absolute joy to work with, and I've recommended her to everyone I know! She made us a stunning cutting cake and dessert bar for our backyard wedding, and even beautifully incorporated flowers from our florist and home (the wedding was full of wild flowers) to the table. Wildflour cake design will be our go-to for any special occasion in the future. As a nervous bride-to be on a pretty tight budget, I'd considered forgoing a cake all together as something that I thought might be stressful and expensive. Asa made the process joyous, exciting and affordable, and now I can't imagine our wedding without her delicious creations! Her flavors are diverse and delicious from the mocha to the lemon blueberry! If you are looking for someone to help you put a sweet touch on your special occasion, I cannot recommend her highly enough. In addition to being extremely skilled in baking and design, she is extremely professional, and communicative.

Asa did a dessert bar for my wedding with cupcakes, brownies and cookies. There were so many amazing flavors of cupcakes to choose from! Asa was wonderful in taking the time with me to be sure I got what I wanted. The cupcakes were beautiful and delicious (so were the brownies and cookies)! I would highly recommend using Wildflour Cake Design for anyone looking for cakes, and desserts in the future, I definitely will again!

I am beyond happy with my wedding cake and cupcakes from Wildflour cake designs!!! Asa was wonderful to work with, she was quick to respond to any emails or phone calls, super friendly, and most importantly made us a beautiful cake!! Not only was the cake exactly what I had pictured but the cupcakes were beautiful as well and it all tasted delicious!!! We had four different flavors because we did cupcakes and there wasnt one I didnt like....the earl gray cupcakes w/lavender frosting were very popular at my wedding but the strawberry swirl cake w/vanilla frosting was my favorite!!! I highly recommend Wildflour Cake Design, you will not regret choosing Asa!!

Where to start?! We ordered a custom cake and cupcakes for our September wedding! I honestly cannot day enough good things, Asa was so wonderful to work with through the entire process! The cake and cupcakes were *almost* to beautiful to eat! They were the best I’ve tasted and our guests all raved about them! When planning everyone told me “you’ll probably have a ton of cupcakes/cakes left”, not so, 4...we had 4 cupcakes left they were that good! Asa delivered to our venue and set them up so beautifully! Would highly recommend and will be ordering more in the future! 😋 I already can’t wait to have more! ❤️

We had an amazing experience with Wildflour Cake Design! I contacted Asa 4 weeks prior to my daughter’s wedding and she was more than willing to help us. Asa was very professional and easy to work with. She even traveled 90 miles to bring the cake and set it up for us. The cake was beautiful and delicious! It was just what my daughter wanted. I highly recommend Asa! You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered a cake for my bridal shower & was not dissapointed! Asa made a gorgeous cake with all buttercream... not only was it a beautiful design, but it tasted amazing too! We had a lemon blueberry cake with almond buttercream.
