The second was a vanilla cake with a peanutbutter frosting and a layer of melted chocolate. WOW! We didn't try this cake at the tasting so were unsure about it - but Wildflour delivered! It was so amazing - we had guests going up for 2nd and thirds of both cakes. The next morning at brunch multiple guests told us that they loved the cake and have never liked a wedding cake so much. We could tell since we didn't have anything left but our topper to freeze! amazing job! thank you!

re stunning. We loved that we could do a free tasting by picking up a box of 6 cupcakes (3 flavors total that we selected to try). We immediately chose the chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and hazelnut buttercream, which was so amazing. Our guests raved so much about the cake and we had 3 pieces each! It was by far the most beautiful and tasty wedding cake I've ever experienced. Lauren was also very helpful and responsive to all of our questions by email. Would highly recommend Wildflour for your wedding!

ld be the best route since the holidays were a busy time. I replied, stating that was a great idea and asked how we could set this up. I never heard back from Lauren, even after an additional email was sent. Last month after I was frustrated with my experience already, I had my fiancé reach out to this bakery. We have busy schedules and requested a tasting box from Lauren after a few emails back and forth. A date was set for us to pick up a tasting box, we showed up at the store and were told "I thought that was tomorrow", and had to come back again the next day. The cupcakes we tasted were just alright, but settled for the red velvet because you can never go wrong with red velvet cake. We asked for a proposal fron Lauren and were told that we would have one by the end of the week. A week and a half later, we still didn't have a proposal from her and have now decided to go with a different bakery. Throughout our correspondence we have had to send an additional followup email for every email sent in order to finally get a reply. We understand people get busy, but if you are unable to communicate in a timely manner that should inform clients of this.

The cake was absolutely gorgeous and exactly like I envisioned, but most importantly, it was delicious!! We ordered a larger cake in hopes of having leftovers, but there were none. Our guests went back for seconds! We had the vanilla cake, with lemon curd filling, and cream cheese icing for one layer and chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, and raspberry icing for the others. They were unbelievably tasty. Lauren made a separate anniversary cake for us and we can't wait until we are able to slice into it! I highly recommend WildFlour Pastry.

o come. My husband and I wanted a sweet treats bar for our wedding. We get so tired of going to weddings and seeing half eaten cake on tables, so we still wanted a cake but also something else that more people might eat all of. As well, instead of a Groom's cake, we wanted to figure out a way to incorporate Joe's favorite sweet items into our wedding. He is not a big sweet's fan, but he does love apple pie and banana pudding. When visiting Wildflour on a trip to Charleston in September, we loved the atmosphere and the various selections that they had to offer. From there, I sent an email and Lauren got back to me quickly. She was able to take my vision and transform it into a Sweet Treats bar that we were raving to people about months before the wedding was to happen. We had banana pudding shots, apple pie turnovers, and lemon-blueberry scones. We also had a beautiful cake with raspberry filling that withstood the heat, looked beautiful, and tasted so delicious! We underestimated how delicious the cake might be because NOT ONE single piece of cake was leftover or half-eaten on a table. Our guests loved it all! We had to tell our guests where to get more of these food items before they left for home the next morning. Wildflour worked with our budget, communicated effectively with an out of town bride, and delivered a beautiful and delicious set up day of. Thank you Wildflour Pastry for everything!

WildFlour and knew they were absolutely perfect for us. Lauren was SO easy to communicate with, the price was fantastic, and the flavor options were incredible - my husband and I truly LOVE desserts, so the taste of the cake was very important to us! She accommodated a tasting with us around our one visit back to Charleston during our planning, and it was the highlight of the planning process for me overall! It was so hard to pick our favorites, but we finally settled on three different flavors for our 4-tier cake, and Lauren was so helpful in the entire process, making sure we ended up with exactly what we wanted. The cake was gorgeous when we saw it day-of, and the guests absolutely loved it. We couldn’t wait, and enjoyed our anniversary tier the following weekend while it was still fresh and SO delicious! We will definitely be visiting WildFlour each time we are in town, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their work for our wedding day!

Both cakes were amazingly delicious and beautiful!! the grooms cake was a hamburger and was a HUGE hit!! My husband loved it and it was probably the coolest cake I've ever seen. The cake for our reception was chocolate cake with fresh strawberries filling and cream cheese frosting. Literally the best thing I've ever tasted!! You can't go wrong with using Wildflour!

6 different pastries, and a small wedding cake. i almost was able to eat one of each, before not being able to fit another bite. she designed the wedding cake to look like a slice from a tree, and it was so realistic that the groom's cousin (who does woodwork) touched it to see how the finish was- thinking it was real wood. couldn't have been happier. will definitely visit her shop again if we're in the area, her stuff tastes real and fresh, not artificial and overly sweet like most pastries and sweets.

Lauren was gracious enough to work with us and created mini-cinnamon rolls for our guests to savor. "Mini" is kind of a misnomer though because those babies were substantial! r communication is lacking. She didn't email sample menus when she said she would. She didn't call when she said that she would. When we called her she said she was busy with wedding season and took orders as they came in. We explained that we were just still waiting on the desert sample menu. It was almost like she didn't even know who we were-- Maybe she wasn't near her file on us?? Either way she sent an email apologizing but still just sent an email with cake flavors and icing (I was looking to do small deserts and tiny pastries). Overall she recommended some great stuff and we ended up going with her because it was the last vendor to check off my list and I was just ready to get married already. :)The deserts were wonderful and delicious. She may need some help dealing with just wedding clients to ensure that her communication is up to par.

Very light, almost like a spice cake, with big, plump raisins. We ordered four flavors of mini cupcakes for our wedding and a 6" round cake that we could cut into. (We provided little take out boxes for our guests so they could take some cupcakes home with them--who would want to let such yummy treats go to waste?). I had ordered some edible glitter which I gave to Lauren about a week before the wedding and she used it to decorate the cupcakes. They were all so delicious--my husband and I go back and forth on which flavor we liked the best. We found Lauren's prices to be very reasonable, particularly compared to some other bakeries in the area, and her quality outstanding. We will be sure to visit Wildflour whenever we are in Charleston!
