They ruined my wedding. I would have been better without a day of coordinator. The items I specifically discussed in meetings previously and even detailed in email weren’t handled.... Just a few of the many issues are listed below.
She encouraged and pushed back the time of the sunset photos saying we had time, and we completely missed the photo opportunity. She tried cancelling several important parts of my wedding without discussing with me prior including the dollar dance and grand exit. This left the photographer, videographer, and guests wondering what was going on. It was extremely embarrassing standing on the dance floor with a line of guests that were all confused with her nowhere in site. I also let her know in advance that the bouquet dedication was a SECRET and I didn’t want ANYONE to know and she shared that information as well.
My mom, my dad and the groom did not have champagne for the toast and more than half of my family never even got cake. She told me everything was handled with gathering the flowers, but I got a call three days later from the church wondering what was going on with the flowers. I’m still trying to iron out details that “were handled” that night after I left. My family also had numerous complaints regarding her that they shared with me afterwards. Again, this is only some of the issues we dealt with. I would avoid them at all costs!
