Hi my name is Karla. Welcome to Wildly Rooted Weddings. I have been in the wedding industry for about 15 years and I absolutely love celebrating love. I love handling the logistics, getting to know my brides, and making sure the day feels like what they envisioned or even better! I am the type of designer + event director who will attune into the wedding vision texture. I will help relieve the stress and help for not only the planning process to feel good, but also on the big day, make sure that the couples expression is felt by their family and friends thru the design and all the little details. Karla absolutely saved our wedding. There was a complete disaster going on in the background with the caterer falling apart that we and our guests didn't know about at the time, because Karla went out of her way to take over and handle it. Many friends who got married told us their day-of planner "didn't really do much," but we are so lucky we hired Wildly Rooted Weddings, because Karla went above and beyond, from the detailed and sincere conversation on the first day we chatted, to the many meetings and organization docs over the next few months, to her calm and capable performance on the wedding day. She did way more than necessary just to make sure all our complicated plans would be executed smoothly. Other planners we chatted with beforehand said they would do less for more money, and our good friend who works weddings was astonished by how much Karla handled as a day-of planner. We were super excited that she clearly thinks outside the box whenever we wanted to do something unconventional; she clearly has the knowledge to handle traditional wedding aspects, but she rolled with whatever idea we came up with that was outside the norm and enhanced so many of our ideas based on what she's seen over her career. After our wedding, many of our guests told us they had never seen a wedding be so personal and so uniquely dedicated to two peoples' personalities, and Karla helped make our imaginings become reality. My partner and I are both very organized project managers in our work, so we figured we could handle most of the planning ourselves—but people always say that something will go wrong (or not according to plan) at weddings, and it made all the difference to have someone so competent handling all the moving parts so we could focus on all the happy moments. Wildly Rooted Weddings is worth all the money, and we sincerely hope Karla continues to get every dollar she deserves, because she's a hard worker and super smart and just genuine, which is hard to find in a business-driven world, and people like that deserve every success they work so hard for.

Working with Karla was like working with a friend. She’s your coordinator, your right hand, and your muscle when you need it. As any wedding does, we had some mishaps at the venue. Karla was on top of things and venue staff to make sure I had a great wedding. From the beginning I knew I hired the right person because she is so down to earth and relatable. She really wants your vision to come to life especially when it’s something different. Karla and I had multiple check ins throughout the year even though I only hired her as a day of coordinator. She made sure that if I needed anything, she was there for me. I had issues with communication from another vendor and Karla immediately got a hold of them for me with no issues. Her and her assistant got the decor set up EXACTLY how I envisioned it and it’s so surreal to see and that couldn’t have happened without them. She’s very meticulous and detailed for both herself and you. She truly helped my wedding go smoothly and made me feel like the most beautiful bride.
