Wildwood Family Farms

We got married at Wildwood Family Farms earlier this year, and our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was. Kelly, Justin, and Annabelle were all wonderful to work with. I would recommend this venue (along with Kelly's floral services!) to anyone without hesitation.

This venue has everything! It was such a relief to have multiple site options for our ceremony and reception, while including tables and chairs, and a day-of coordinator in the venue cost. Compared to other venues, there were not hidden extra fees; everything cost-wise was very straightforward. They are also very flexible to help you make your day YOUR day. I also highly recommend using the venue for florals.

We absolutely loved Wildwood for our wedding. Everything was perfection. From the spectacular venue itself, to the communication, the excellent bartenders, and we used Kelly for our florals that we just loved. We would highly recommend Wildwood to anyone for their wedding venue, it was a dream come true wedding.

My daughters wedding was spectacular at Wildwood. The venue is just beautiful and the owners are wonderful. We had Kelly do greenery and hurricane candles on the tables and it was perfect. Keeping the decor simple and elegant was the best as the venue speaks for itself. Everything from the bouquets to handling the chair set up to the bar service was excellent!! And more! Thank you to the whole Wildwood family and staff for making an amazing day for us.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to host our wedding. I plan events for a living so I had specific things I was looking for and they met all of my needs. I had a large guest list of over 200 so I was looking for a place that would offer flexibility and enough room to allow my guests to have a great time. I was doing my own decor and set up and I was also looking for a place to have an outdoor ceremony. Having a plan b for rain without having to flip a space was very important. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. I also wanted to be able to set up the day of and Kelly and her team had everything set perfectly the morning of. She answered all of my questions quickly and always had a solution to anything I wanted to incorporate for the day. It was very important to me to have personal touches which meant some additional set up needs. They met all of those needs. Every guest had only positive things to say and absolutely loved the space to be able to walk the grounds, play some yard games, or enjoy dinner and dancing. It made for beautiful pictures as well. Also I must note that I am not a typical "barn" person but this venue gave me the ability with the carriage house to have that modern touch and feel. The bar staff was WONDERFUL as well. We used Nighthawk catering (a preferred caterer) and they went above and beyond at a VERY reasonable cost. My husband and I went to see about five other locations besides WWFF and we immediately selected this one. I would highly recommend them.

Wildwood family farms is a beautiful venue for an outdoor wedding. As soon as we saw pictures of the venue, we knew that we wanted our special day to be hosted there. Kelly and Justin are absolutely lovely and easy to coordinate with. They do an amazing job at making your day run smoothly. After our wedding, every time we see one of our guest, they compliment Wildwood Family Farms on how great it is. Will recommend Wildwood to all of my newly engaged friends and family members.

Literally the best ever. I would book with Wildwood again and again. I can’t imagine our day or the whole process without Wildwood + Kelly and Justin who run it. During our initial visit Kelly commented on being a one-stop-shop and they 100% are. From the venue, to the bar and staff, the bulk of our decor, and the flowers (which were everything I could have hoped and dreamed for) — they did and had it all. I felt like Kelly served as our coordinator throughout the process and I couldn’t be more thankful. She’s just a wealth of wedding knowledge and answered every single one of my questions — some of which I may have asked more than once. We’re local to Wildwood and have been at the venue for various events, but many of our guests had not. I’m not exaggerating when I say most of our 130 guests commented on what a cool or beautiful or fun place Wildwood is — and it is all of those things! I’d like to comment that while Wildwood is a “farm” there are a lot of different vibes that can be fulfilled within the venue. Whatever your goal is for what you want at your wedding or how you want it to feel, there is something for almost any style out there — and it’s all Pinterest worthy. Your wedding can be whatever you want it to be, which is really, really awesome. Booking Wildwood was no-brainer for us because it checked all of our boxes personally. In the end I wouldn't want to have spent be our special day anywhere else. We just couldn’t be more thankful!

I found Wildwood in 2020 at one of their succulent events (before I was engaged) and said "this is where I'll get married one day!" Fast forward to October 1, 2022 and that's exactly what I did. Wildwood has got to be one of the most beautiful venues I've seen and the staff elevated our experience to the next level. From our walk-throughs with Kelly & Maddie, to the bar services and our florals for the day of (By Kelly), everything was just perfect. They worked well with our other vendors and made sure we were all set for our day! Their planning sheets, website and anything else we needed to sign/fill out were very easy to navigate and forward without any confusing wording or phrases. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience for such a special say. We had a truly beautiful wedding at Wildwood!!

This was by far the best venue I visited during the long process of wedding planning! The owners and all staff were incredible and so kind! Kelly was incredibly easy to communicate with and made the entire process much easier! Planning without a coordinator had some large challenges but was made much easier by the staff of Wildwood! If I could do it all over again there is nothing I would change! 10x over I would choose wildwood family farms as the perfect wedding location. Can’t thank them enough for making our day the best of our lives!

We were able to have the best wedding imaginable at Wildwood Family Farms! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and gave us so many options for ceremony sites, where to take our photos, and a great spot to set up cornhole (one of our favorite yard games 😊). This venue has everything you could want for your wedding day, plus some! One of our favorite things that this venvue has, that isnt all about our wedding, was all of the events that they hold that are open to the community. We were able to attend some of these events which helped us when planning for our decor and imagine in our head what our special day would look like! Plus the events are always a great time with friends. If you have the opportunity to book this venue, i would highly recommend!

We are SO happy we knew about and chose Wildwood for our wedding venue. Everyone was so kind and helpful, they answered my many questions and helped us create such a beautiful wedding. We got so many compliments from guests on how beautiful, unique, and cool our venue was. So many great options in one place, which made it easy to stress less about things like weather, travel between events, or entertainment for our guests. It’s only been a couple weeks since our wedding at Wildwood and we still have huge smiles on our faces and couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day turned out. Getting married at Wildwood was hands down the best day of our lives and would do it all over again if we could! All of our guests have given us the most incredible compliments of how gorgeous and beautiful Wildwood is. I had some regret not getting a photo booth at our wedding, but later realized that every inch of Wildwood is an incredible photo op! Kelly and Justin’s kindness and welcoming nature were so helpful to us. Kelly helped us with so many questions and concerns we had in the months of planning and organizing, she made it smooth and seamless. Justin was there the day of to help my husband with whatever he needed. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. We have nothing but praise for Wildwood! Also, you should always have barn cats, goats and a mini donkey at your wedding!

My husband and I used Wildwood for our wedding in July and we are SO happy with this decision. Not only is the venue gorgeous, it offers so many options for each couple to make their wedding day unique! Our guests were so impressed by how beautiful every inch of the venue was, we have received so many compliments! In addition to it's beauty, the Wildwood team comes well prepared to help make your day go smoothly. We originally planned to have our ceremony outside at the entrance to the woods, but due to weather we had to change the ceremony to inside the carriage house last minute. The Wildwood team made this potentially stressful switch very simple (and just as beautiful as planned) for us by handling everything! We are so thankful that from the beginning of our planning process to the end of our wedding night, Justin and Kelly (the owners) were there to help every step of the way. Brett and I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to host a beautiful and fun wedding!

Wildwood was the perfect venue! It is such a beautiful space with so much versatility so you can really make it your own! It is family owned and the family is truly so amazing. They are kind, honest and reliable people. We got so many compliments on our venue and heard time and time again from our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. They answer all of your questions and are always available to reach out to. I also had my floral done through wildwood because they grow a lot of their flowers on site! They were truly the most gorgeous floral arrangements I had ever seen (and I'm very picky) PLUS they were affordable! Hands down they are the best decision we made in regards to our wedding!! Thank you to the Wildwood team for delivering a beautiful experience for my daughter’s wedding. From the first contact, communication was simple and easy going. They made us feel at ease knowing that “they’ve got it covered.” Because they offer several indoor and outdoor options, we didn’t even need to worry about the weather. Justin, Kelly and their team at Wildwood are AMAZING! This was where we had our second date and then to be able to be married there was literally the best day ever! From the moment we decided that Wildwood was the place we wanted to say I do until the big day, everything was so organized and questions were answered and even tips given! It made all the planning go so smoothly. We only had 4 months to plan and couldn’t of asked for a better venue and team to work with. Kelly and Justin are such a pleasure to work with ! They keep you calm and answer all your questions (they know what they are doing!). We got so many compliments on how beautiful the set up was and everyone loved exploring the farm! We also were impressed with the staff they hire when they aren't on sight. Everyone is knowledgeable and so kind! It was the perfect spot for us and we are so grateful for the opportunity to get married here. Kelly also did an amazing job on the flowers!!

From beginning to end (and that's a tall order during COVID), Wildwood took care of us in the best way. This venue probably doesn't even need the 5 star review I'm leaving because every single guest that goes there couldn't stop talking about the place for weeks to follow. At numerous points throughout the evening, guests would come up saying how many unique and cool niches there are at the property for guests to enjoy (indoors and outdoors). It's so beautifully landscaped and Kelly did such an amazing job with the fine details (she has an incredibly artsy eye). You will absolutely NOT be disappointed should you choose this venue. To me, it's one of the most beautiful, cool and personable venues you will find in Grand Rapids, not to mention, Michigan... and believe me, we did a lot of research on venues.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Wildwood. We got married there in September of 2021 and Kelly and Justin made the day seamless. I was pleasantly shocked at how much they helped with set up / moving decor for us the day of. My greatest appreciation for them comes from their organization and professionalism. You can tell that they have been doing this for a while and they are on top of everything. They were flexible and the venue itself was absolutely incredible. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience, and that is not something I say often!

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to have our wedding! First of all, Kelly and Justin were super helpful and responsive during the planning process. Several meetings and check ins occurred along the way so I always knew what was going on. When I tell people about this place, I refer to it as a one stop shop because they have in house floral, rentals, and bartending, which makes everything so easy to plan. You don’t have to have a dozen vendors to cover all your bases. And their property is so beautiful. I had several guests tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve been to. I would recommend this venue to everyone. Your wedding is guaranteed to be perfect!

My husband and I got married on 8/27/21 at Wildwood Family Farms. Aside from the obvious, that this is an absolutely gorgeous venue with so many ceremony and reception options, Kelly was the best to work with when planing the wedding. She was always quick to respond if we had any questions, and provided very clear planning guides that helped make sure we checked all the essentials off our planning list. Kelly also did our wildflower floral arrangements which were absolutely beautiful! Their bar service and bar tenders were wonderful and very personable, so it was nice that you were able to tip them on your phone without having to bring cash. We also hired our officiant, caterer, and DJ through their recommended vendor list and they were all outstanding. Let’s just say, we don’t regret a single thing about choosing Wildwood as our venue!

Our wedding was absolutely stunning and memorable! We fell in love with this venue the moment we stepped on the farm. Our guests could not stop talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. You have access to the whole grounds, so guests can move around. They also provided yard games for us. Kelly and Justin were so great to work with. They were so patient with every question we had. We got married July 16, 2021, and we just want to go back and relive our day. The nice thing is Wildwood hosts concerts in the summer, so my husband and I will be able to go back to our venue and have that special moment together.

Justin and Kelly are AMAZING!!! We got married at Barn 1888 on 8/1/21, and Wildwood Family Farms provided our beverage service. We had a pretty large group, around 200 people, most coming in from Mexico (therefore, plenty of drinkers). Right before the wedding, these two emailed me saying they felt it was best to set up a second bar on site to ensure everyone received drinks in a timely manner. We received SO many compliments about the bartenders, the drinks, everything. Truly the kindest people who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing day. Thank you so much, Justin and Kelly, for your impeccable service and for just being the coolest people!! Brides/grooms - 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I tied the knot at Wildwood Family Farm on July 17th, 2021. We had the PERFECT day. The grounds at Wildwood are stunning and the venue has so many wonderful areas for guests to enjoy their time. We utilized Kelly for our floral and design services as well and there was not a single detail missed. Our arrangements, center pieces, seating chart and cake table design blew us away. We worked with Kelly and Justin throughout the pandemic to reschedule our 2020 wedding and their flexibility and patience made a stressful scenario so much easier to handle. I would highly recommend Wildwood Family Farms to anyone planning a wedding or event in the Grand Rapids area.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy, but Kelly and Justin made it less stressful! They were always there to calm this anxious bride down. They are always available for questions and support. We rented all of our decorations from them, they did our flowers, and we were one of the first couples to use the new carriage house. They made our day perfect and it went off without a hitch!! Thank you Kelly and Justin. We 100% recommend them and their venue!

We used Wildwood Family Farms for our bar services for our wedding and they were great! They were very professional bartenders and everyone raved about how great they were. We appreciated just being able to hand the reigns over after initially stating what we wanted, and they handled everything.

Wildwood Family Farms is the best place to get married. The owners, Kelly and Justin were amazing leading up to the wedding (through COVID) and really came through on the day of. We planned this MI wedding while living in Atlanta, GA. They were easy to communicate with and even helped answered questions about the area when it came to other planning endeavors. The Farm is absolutely stunning and made my dream of getting married in a big red Michigan barn a reality. Their staff was a joy to work with as well. Kelly was also my florist and the flowers turned out stunning. When we hit a huge bump on the day of our wedding they were able to step in and helped us find who we needed which honestly made our day even more amazing. They helped to save our day! They are an amazing venue and even more amazing people.

BEST EXPERIENCE HANDS DOWN! We cannot thank Justin & Kelly enough for all they did to make our wedding the most special day. We wish we could relive it over and over again. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful and amazing the venue was. From the planning all the way until the last call for the night, everything was perfect!! The property has so much to offer from the barn, to the carriage house, to the beer gardens, pond, and so much more!! We rented a tent through Kelly for our reception because we had a larger size wedding and it was PERFECT! The guests loved being able to roam the property and take in the beautiful surroundings. Still reminiscing in how beautiful our wedding day turned out! Right when we toured this venue, we instantly fell in love with this place. Between the gardens, outdoor bar, the barn, the new Carriage House, and awesome owners, Kelly & Justin; everything was perfect and exactly what we imagined our special day to be! Kelly and Justin made all of the wedding planning extremely simple. Kelly was great to work with and knew exactly what we needed to make our wedding day what we wanted. The venue itself is beautiful, so not many decorations were needed. We had both our ceremony and reception here; this place is great because there are so many options for locations within the property. I used Kelly for our flowers and they turned out beautiful! They grow the flowers themselves, so it was really easy to work with Kelly on exactly what type of flowers we wanted, colors, etc. Our guests cannot stop talking about how great of a time they had! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!

Wildwood Family Farms is absolutely beautiful. We had the chance to switch our reception into the new carriage house, which gave me more space. The carriage house’s simple, but elegant decor let me decorate it with ease. Just adding centerpieces to the tables made it perfect for us. Leading up to the wedding, the weather was not looking great. Last minute Justin and Kelly set up heaters and put up tent sides surrounding the carriage house. This made it more enjoyable for the guests who were not cold at all the whole night! Overall, Justin and Kelly are SO good to work with. Their experience helped the planning process run smoothly, and I appreciate their willingness to work with me on the things I was looking for in a reception venue. Added plus- their property is absolutely beautiful and has so many options for different pictures and entertainment for the guests at the reception! Definitely would recommend this place to any bride looking for a beautiful place for their wedding!!

This venue is a dream. Kelly and Justin are kind, hospitable, and professional. We were allowed many visits to decide on ceremony placement, reception set up, and inspiration. We loved their bar service. Their Margaritas are divine and the bartenders are so friendly. We also loved one of their recommended caterers, Saladino’s. We got so many compliments on it! Kelly is a beautiful florist! I loved my bouquet so much I ordered it twice. And she let me use the trimmings for my hair. Kelly and Justin were quick and consistent in answering emails and phone calls, patient with our questions, and beyond gracious through the pandemic. They were also available for help throughout the day of the wedding. Honestly, it’s a beautiful, private venue with much of what you need for a wedding already built in and waiting for your day. Kelly and Justin do all they can to ensure the success of your day and they’re great people! So glad we picked Wildwood!

We just got married here yesterday. I wish I could relive this day over and over again. Justin and Kelly were amazing to work with from start to finish. I would 11/10 recommend getting married here. Everyone was raving about how beautiful this venue is. It’s truly a little slice of heaven on the outskirts of Grand Rapids. Oh also use Kelly for floral. My husband and I got married this past October at Wildwood Family Farms. Planning a wedding is no easy feat, add a pandemic on top of that, and we were beginning to feel overwhelmed with the planning process. However, Kelly and Justin were there every step of the way to assure us that we would still have our day and assisted us throughout the whole process. We are forever grateful for their kindness and knowledge. To top it all off, they have the most beautiful farm! Our friends and family continue to mention how perfect the venue was and how they have never been to a more beautiful place! It was truly a picture perfect day!

We can't say enough great things about Wildwood Family Farms! We had the unique situation of moving our wedding up by 2 months due to COVID and our original venue being forced to cancel on us. Things have a way of working out though because our friends and family loved spending the day on the farm with us and we couldn't have envisioned our day being any more beautiful or going any smoother. Getting married is stressful without worrying about safety of your guests but Wildwood helped us to ensure that from the minute our guests arrived, they had the space to spread out and feel comfortable and for that we couldn't be more thankful! Justin and Kelly are incredible. We appreciated their communication with us (especially with a shorter timeline) their willingness to be flexible leading up to the event and their wonderful experience they provided for our guests. If you haven't been out to the farm, I highly suggest you check it out, it feels like the West Side's very own Magnolia Farms and between the blooms and beautiful trees you really are going to be hard pressed to find a space more whimsical and wonderful.

Seriously an amazing venue. For ceremony and reception. Made my wedding day just dreamy. The owners are amazing to work with, and will work with a very stressed bride and be very understanding!! Loved working with them! They helped make my day just amazing.

Truly the most amazing experience! Despite the chaos of the pandemic, Kelly and Justin made sure us and our loved ones were able to have our intimate ceremony safely and made sure it was just as special as it would have been otherwise. They were so communicative, flexible, and warm. It felt right at home being there and there is literally nothing I would change. This was a dream come true and we couldn’t have picked a more incredible place for our special day. Not even an exaggeration. Gorgeous, tons of space, a million photographer opportunities! Absolutely perfect in every way.

Not only does Wildwood Family Farms offer couples the land and space for your dream celebrations, but the owners, Kelly and Justin, do everything in their power to make sure you have the remarkable wedding experience you want. Kelly was super responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process to customize exactly what we were looking for and I'm so deeply thankful for how supportive I felt while planning a wedding during a pandemic. She was respectful of our worries with COVID concerns and always made sure we felt that safe having guests come to our wedding. She's also incredibly talented with her floral designs and all of their work at Wildwood is breathtaking! I couldn't have picked a better venue and people to work with! Justin and Kelly were absolutely amazing and I am beyond blessed having them help me with my wedding. Wildwood is very flexible with the military as well as we needed to change our date three times! The grounds at Wildwood were breathtaking with lots of greenery and flowers. The barn needs very minimal additional decoration as it already has the rustic charm and beautiful lights hanging up. There were so many beautiful spots for picture taking on the grounds and we were very excited to find out we could use the whole area! There are two different bar options so matter the weather you have nothing to worry about. They also have a list of recommended DJ's which we used and it worked out SO well. They knew where to set up so I didn't need to worry about anything. Another reason why I choose Wildwood is because they do the majority of the set up and take down. Kelly is a florist and also have rental options for table decorations among other things. All these reasons together were a huge headache relive with a stress free planning as well as wedding day! There prices are very reasonable and they are upfront about everything. We had no problem getting ahold of them and Kelly always responded quickly for us. I would highly recommended them for your special day!

We couldn't have picked a better place for our reception! It did help that we happened to pick an outdoor venue in 2019, not knowing it would be the best option for a 2020 summer wedding. Still, Wildwood was unbelievably perfect for us and is picturesque; the vibe is both laid back and classy, with rock gardens, beautiful landscaping and a newly re-done outdoor bar. There is so much room for guests to wander and enjoy the country. Justin and Kelly were not only gracious hosts, but did everything they could to make sure we had the perfect day! In addition, Kelly is a one-stop shop; she is a wonderful florist, has a number of decorations for rent and has beautiful penmanship if wanting to hire her services for sings, bar menus, etc. I would highly recommend booking Wildwood for a reception or any other outdoor event, whether during a global pandemic or not!

We absolutely loved everything about our wedding at wildwood!! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting and got SO many compliments on the venue during our reception! Justin and Kelly were extremely flexible and accommodating to all of our needs. They did everything that they could to make getting married mid- pandemic as stress free as possible! Our wedding at Wildwood was our dream come true! It is a beautiful venue and especially perfect in the fall. We loved getting married at such a unique venue and especially one that was family owned. The owners were so helpful and patient with us for the entire year leading up to our wedding, which was so helpful and definitely made us feel like we made the right choice in choosing a "non-corporate" venue. It is clear that Wildwood is family run and operated and Kelly & Justin addressed any concerns we had professionally and in a timely manner. Our wedding at Wildwood was absolutely perfect! The owners were so easy to work with and very helpful before and during the wedding. The venue is the perfect wedding set up, with multiple indoor and outdoor options.

This venue is not only beautiful and amazing but so are the owners!!! Kelly helped me every step of the way plan the day of our dreams!!! The venue itself was everything we visioned and she helped make it that way! Our day was perfect! I can not recommend this place enough!!! Kelly was also our florist and our flowers were everything I hoped for and more! After my new husband and I found a general idea of what we wanted with our color scheme, I showed Kelly photos. She then designed the perfect combo of what we wanted! Would recommend her for floral too, she was also really reasonably priced compared to most! Two huge ticket items out of the way at one stop is a brides dream!!!

Wildwood is a gorgeous venue. Kelly and her husband provided us excellent service before and during our event. It was so convenient to have everything on site (ceremony and reception) and Kelly does amazing floral as well! Our day was nearly perfect. We rated Wildwood 4 stars because there is one large downfall. You are required to use Nighthawk Catering and Events as your bar service using Wildwood. We were VERY disappointed with their service. The owner of the company took 3-4 weeks to respond to each email. After we were so frustrated with not hearing from her, we set up a meeting to meet in person (which we drove an hour for), go over the bar menu in detail, and drop off our deposit check. But, three weeks later we received an email asking for our deposit check…we had to remind her of our meeting- she had mixed us up with another couple. The next few weeks were a series of emails of her asking us all of the questions we had gone over with her in our in-person meeting about. Not only had she mixed us up with another couple, she had lost the papers that contained all of our drink details for our day. We received no apology from her. The biggest disappointment was on our wedding day- we had ordered brandy old fashions and instead Jim Bean whiskey was served all night. We were not compensated for the difference- even after pointing out the mistake to the bar's owner. I want to give an honest warning to brides that if the bar service is important to you- rethink this venue. There are dozens of other gorgeous venues that you will receive top of the line professional service. A bride should not have to worry about a vendor (who you pay thousands of dollars to!) forgetting your order, mixing you up with another couple, or serving the wrong drink at your wedding. Unfortunately this is a part of the package at Wildwood at this point, and we truly hope others have not had our experience! Again, we would recommend Wildwood as a standalone but not with the current package.

Justin and Kelly were absolutely amazing to work with! We are so pleased with how everything turned out. To anyone looking in the Grand Rapids area for a barn wedding, you should definitely check out Wildwood!

The Farms is a beautiful place to hold an event. From its quaint setting down to the flower arrangements, it's a prime place to hold an event. I have attended two weddings here, one last year and the other this November. Unfortunately, both occasions had theft. Gifts were stolen from the first wedding and money straight from a purse from the recent occasion. This would not deter me from attending or even holding an event here, but I would hope things are in place to avoid similar occurrences.
