We had an excellent experience working with Wildwood Wedding Films. JD was professional from the planning to execution of the perfect day. He communicated his ideas and listened to ours with a desire to please the bride and groom with their dream wedding footage. He caught important moments at just the right time with an artistic eye. JD set up cameras at multiple angles as well as got some really fun drone footage throughout the day. He puts the couple at ease during a time that could be stressful. JD’s turn-around time for the teaser and highlight film beat our expectation. The quality of the videos is excellent and perfectly tells the story of my daughter’s wedding day. We are thrilled with this outcome and we’re so thankful we chose Wildwood Wedding Films to document the day.

It was a pleasure having JD as our videographer. He worked incredibly hard to get some great footage of our special day and we are forever grateful to have such a beautiful video to be able to look back at for the rest of our lives. You will receive a ton from him for the price, which was very reasonable! We got a teaser, a highlight reel, the entire wedding ceremony, full dances, full speeches, and a 5-7 min video all for an amazing price. I had hired JD after having issues with another videography company. The original videographer still showed up but did not deliver my video until almost a year later and also showed up to my formal wedding in shorts and a T-shirt. JD on the other hand began to deliver almost less than a month after the wedding. So be careful who you hire for the big day, look for well established companies such as Wildwood. I had no such issues with JD, as he was professional and trustworthy. I am so glad I went with my gut feeling and decided to hire him. 10 out of 10 stars I highly recommend Wildwood Wedding Films & Photgraphy.

We had the most amazing experience with Wildwood Wedding Films! From our initial encounter to the very end, every step of the way has been filled with nothing but professionalism, organization, and attention to detail. Upon booking, JD answered all of our questions and the booking process was seamless. There are so many options to look at in terms of add ons and just having exactly what you want for your video. (drone, second shooter, interviews, etc.) On our wedding day, JD showed up early, which was beyond appreciated, and he was prepared to get all of the behind the scene + detail shots before all of the action really began. JD was communicative and was great at direction while also providing ideas for different poses / shots. He had the sense of urgency that is needed on a wedding day and was also helpful at specifically giving advice to us as the Bride & Groom. A vendor that can recognize that this is your first time getting married and you’ve never gone through all of the traditional steps on a wedding day, is so important to have to encourage and guide you on your big day. JD was such a rock for our wedding and timeline and I would have every regret if I did not book with them! When we were searching for a videographer for our wedding, his services were reasonably priced, and we were very happy for what was included in his packages. We were married in Bend, OR winter 2023 and it was an unforgettable day. One of the best decisions we made was hiring JD to capture our wedding day so we could enjoy watching it over and over each year. We had an amazing experience with Wildwood Wedding Films & JD and are so happy with our final product(s)!! I can't express how grateful we are to have had Wildwood capture our special day. As soon as I arrived at the venue, I saw JD and was immediately put at ease because I felt like I was in expert hands, and the final product is beyond anything we could have imagined. JD caught every detail and captured our story in a way that was unique to us. Our venue (Mt Hood Organic Farms) is a dream venue and they really showcased what an amazing day we had there - including with the drone. They got interviews with some of our closest friends (& my 93 year old grandmother) and captured all of our special moments. We've been married about 3 months now and I watched the video yesterday and was in (happy) tears with the emotions and memories of the day. And we got our 60-second teaser back while we were on our honeymoon (less than two weeks after our wedding). It really has been such a such a special way to relive our big day and share with family and friends (including those who weren't able to attend). We really debated getting a videographer - it felt like a nice to have - and now it feels crazy we were ever questioning it - the videos are so special and we will cherish them for years to come.

We hired Wildwood for videography for our September 10, 2022 wedding at The Reserve. We got several quotes from other videographers in the area and Wildwood was by far the most reasonable. Since the beginning J.D. was excellent at communicating and was happy to answer all questions we had. He and his team were punctual, super easy to work with and they were able to get all of the shots we wanted for our big day, including drone footage! After our wedding - J.D. provided our wedding footage so quickly, we were so surprised! He made so many awesome edits and clips from our big day - it has been so magical to relive. JD and his assistant were incredible. They were there the whole day but did not once interrupt our time with friends and family and that's exactly what we wanted. They really understood the assignment and paid attention to all our requests. Working with JD was also super easy. Not only does he provide amazing work, but he's also transparent with his business which we love. Everything about the process was very straightforward and had no hidden costs. He was also quick to respond to all emails and texts. He also delivered the final videos much faster than we'd expected which was much appreciated! We cannot recommend JD enough and I'm a picky bride! (PS. If you're on the fence about getting a videographer for your wedding, we'd say to go for it even if you're shy people like us :). Jd did an amazing job with our wedding. We had a very non traditional wedding concept and did a hike down to a beach and got married with close friends and family watching. Getting married in nature was a really important part of the wedding for us and the photography shots and video he got were amazing and really highlighted the beauty of the oregon coast while still capturing some genuine moments of us that showed our love for each other. J.D. is amazing. He came all the way to Vancouver to capture all of us women getting ready the morning of the wedding. He then went to Portland, where the ceremony was and captured such beautiful footage of the venue before guests got there. He worked so well with our photographer to make sure they were both getting the shots they wanted. He does such great work. He sent us full length edited videos of the ceremony, toasts/speeches and reception 2 days after the wedding!! He then got us our final highlight film about 2 weeks later. I cannot rave enough about the detail he captured and how great the film is. We were extra needy and wanted all of the raw footage as well. He went above and beyond and got us a hard drive to upload it to. I researched my vendors like crazy. The cost of a videographer was my biggest hesitation about deciding whether to get one or not. But I felt their prices were very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Wildwood Wedding Films for you big day.

Then on the day of our wedding, he was the most organized, consistently reliable, and artistically skilled person you could ever hope to have as a videographer! We loved JD’s creativity, diligence, professionalism, and video style! He was always immediately responsive to our questions and needs. He took a lot of extra time and care in editing and making our videos perfect! But he also made sure to send the videos to us so incredibly quickly! (We got them way faster than our photos from our photographer). JD stayed with us for the entire day to capture all the small details on video. He knows how to capture unique still shots and find the right angles for the best lighting, and even brought a drone! Hiring J.D. with Wildwood Digital Media was absolutely the best decision! As the Mother of the Groom, this was a gift to my son and daughter-in-law. I selected J.D. basically from the reviews online which were and are stellar. And I wasn’t disappointed! J.D. far exceeded our expectations. I am so grateful to JD/Wildwood Digital Media for capturing our wedding. The day goes by so fast and being able to watch these beautiful videos is the most precious gift of all. JD did an amazing job filming the ceremony, speeches and first dance, but what I really treasure are all the candid moments, the laughter, and the love. JD was very communicative throughout the whole process and I’m amazed by how fast we got our videos back - some within days! Working with JD at Wildwood was the easiest thing to plan and the best thing we did for our wedding. My husband wasn't keen on a videographer at first for our wedding and deemed it unnecessary. But after watching a few videos that JD had taken for other couples, he quickly changed his mind. After our wedding (without seeing the video yet) my husband was so happy we did it. JD was very flexible and switched with us easily when our schedule of events needed to change. He made sure we got shots of things that were important to us, while also filling it with moments from our wedding that our photographers missed. He made us both feel very comfortable while filming and accommodated last minute changes. He hiked a snow bank to get video footage of us skiing and added artistic scenes that tied the entire video together. His turnaround time was very fast as well! I highly recommend his work, you will not be disappointed!!

I had J.D. do my tiny micro-wedding 6/20/2020 and was very professional; he even wore a mask to respect those around him. I contacted him just 2 weeks before the event and he was extremely flexible with me. On the day of, he was never too intrusive or in the way, and very polite. He also works super fast, as we got our raw and edited wedding films within just a few days after! Highly recommend him to anyone looking for even just the basics!

J.D. is the real deal! Like many people's, our wedding went through several major revisions over the months, due to recent events. J.D. handled our changes and endless brainstorming with grace and professional aplomb. Leading up to our big day, he always available, responsive, friendly, and obviously knowledgeable, both of video technology and technique. The day of our ceremony, J.D. was early, masked and socially distanced, and incredibly attentive. He accommodated our last minute requests for multiple speeches, (licensed) music, and seating changes with ease. He remained calm and approachable at all times, which was very comforting amidst our nervous energy, and never came across as overbearing or controlling. His artistic suggestions really added a lot to our finished products. After the wedding, more of the same. Our photos were available within one day, and the stills generated from his digital videos were of such high quality to be indistinguishable from regular photos. Post production of the videos was excellent, with a true professional "sheen." All our best and most meaningful moments were captured perfectly, which we'll enjoy for years to come. Lastly, when our own technical difficulties prevented our videos from downloading from the cloud, J.D. mailed us a flash drive with everything included, at no extra cost. He went above and beyond at every turn, at very reasonable rates. You will NOT be disappointed.

J.D. is incredible! I honestly don’t think I have enough positive things to say about him. Due to us getting married during the pandemic he wore a mask the entire time, because he wanted us to feel safe and comfortable. J.D. also knew that we couldn’t have everyone there that we wanted to so he got us a video of our ceremony in less than 24 hours!! The video was absolutely flawless! He arrived exactly on time, and immediately started to get set up. He worked alongside our photographer seamlessly and was so polite the entire time! I am so glad that my husband and I went with J.D. for our special day and we can’t wait to have him back next year for our big celebration!

I'm REALLY thrilled with everything about JD and Wildwood from start to finish. He communicated clearly, answered all of my questions, responded incredibly promptly (even once when he was overseas on vacation), and his prices were incredibly fair for everything we got out of it. As someone who makes decisions very carefully and researches A TON of options before making my final choice, I can confidently say that Wildwood was above and beyond the best value for the money by far. My husband, my family and I LOVE our videos. They are gorgeous and sweet and we have cherished them very dearly since our wedding (especially since we got married at the end of February 2020, right before the world shut down). I love how many versions we came away with. I love being able to access them easily. The quality is amazing, somehow both artistic and genuine. If you're having any doubt, I strongly recommend hiring a videographer for your wedding, and I strongly recommend Wildwood. I'm SO glad we pulled the trigger and decided to spend the money. Super worth it. I can't say it enough!

James from Wildwood really made our wedding day special. We had him doing video AND stills, so he had to hustle. He did a wonderful job with each, and produced some very special detail stills as well as captured the emotions, the guests, the moments. We found him to be invisible and unobtrusive. He pitched in graciously when a sudden rain squall forced the actual ceremony inside. He helped move furniture, then set up his lighting in 5 minutes. Great guy, nice job! We totally recommend him.

My wife and I were floored by how stunning our wedding video turned out! Wildwood was able to show us vividly what we couldn’t see ourselves and we both cried upon viewing because it made us feel like we were in all of the places we couldn’t be during our big day. Not only was Wildwood professional, communicative and creative – they produced our video for us very quickly which meant a lot because we had many friends and family members who could not be there for our destination wedding – so seeing the video was their way of taking part from afar. Wildwood Digital Media did a really wonderful job in shooting our wedding video. JD was careful and thorough in running ideas past us and helping us to express our vision. What was most remarkable was JD's sincere excitement in crafting the best video he could for us. And he did! He captured beautiful moments--little snippets of our loved ones interacting, special moments of our ceremony, and overall captured the absolute joy of the occasion.
