It was an absolute pleasure to work with Wiley, and we couldn’t be more thrilled that he was able to capture our wedding celebration. He instantly made us feel comfortable and natural through both our engagement session and all of our wedding pictures. He was extremely easy to talk to and immensely helpful with general wedding event questions and advice, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism to ensure that each couple gets exactly what they want from the photos. We can’t recommend Wiley highly enough, he is worth it, and the photos he captures are truly beautiful and will be cherished for a long time!

Wiley Putnam. Not even sure where to start. My wife (then fiancé) and I were 'shopping' around for a photographer to shoot our engagement & wedding pictures. We ended up with a great friend. The introductory phone call, coffee date (two or three times?), check-in texts, and engagement shoot were amazing. Somehow, it got better. The timely and helpful constant communication, the reminders to eat, drink, and rest during the wedding day, and somehow turned out 90 photo Sneak Peek in one day? He does not sleep, but he will make sure he does his best so that you feel your best. We encountered issues during our timeline discussions and Wiley was already willing to be flexible, offer his expertise, and be our number one advocate. We ran behind on our timeline because... wedding; however, he heavily supported our decision to have a two hour buffer for the day... and it saved everything. Throughout the wedding, Wiley made sure we were hydrating, eating, resting, checking-in with each other, and managing our social batteries. We will plan to work with him in the future and we will always recommend him for anyone looking. 11/10. Would recommend every time. We can't say enough fantastic things about Wiley and his work! We were privileged to work with Wiley twice--for both our tiny COVID wedding and a larger reception--and his photographs are always impeccable. He is a master at wrangling larger groups, a positive force on a stressful day, and a genuine pleasure to be around. If you're looking for a photographer: STOP LOOKING. You've found him.

Wiley was an absolute joy to work with. He made the experience fun and easy and his work is outstanding. We were so lucky to have been referred to him and we will refer him to all of our friends moving forward. Wiley is a phenomenal photographer! My husband and I knew when we first got engaged that after our wedding day we would walk away with each other, our marriage, our memories, and the moments captured from our day. So we went on the hunt for a photographer within the Seattle area who's style we liked. Luckily, Wiley was on the list of Top Seattle Photographers. We absolutely loved his work and reached out for a quote about a year out from our set wedding date. We felt so lucky to have him even at that point. After reserving your date, you can choose different tiers or packages for his photography services. One thing I thought was very professional is that he includes engagement packages for wedding reservations. Wiley emphasizes the importance of feeling like ourselves and showing our true selves in front of the camera, especially on one of the biggest days of our lives. So, he met with us even before our engagement shoot to get to know us, our style, set expectations, and make sure we felt comfortable. Our photos turned out to be so amazing! We knew he would exceed our wishes, come our wedding. Fast forward 6 months, in the midst of the pandemic, Wiley stuck with us and was flexible to changes that had to be made. We had to accommodate a much more intimate wedding than we had originally planned, but it turned out to be perfect in our eyes! He was there from the very beginning of the day until dark as close family and friends were leaving. Wiley was one of the only vendors that was actually with us through all of the changes. His bottom line was to keep us happy, be there for us, and capture every moment of the best day of our lives. You can tell Wiley loves what he does. He shows up with a smile on his face, a positive and can-do attitude, and does his magic! Thank you, Wiley, for making our day so special! We are in love with our photos!

Full disclosure- Wiley is a good friend of mine and that is one of the reasons we chose him to do our wedding. However, I had so many compliments about him from guests!! They felt he was capturing each moment but was not intrusive. As a bride i felt there was a great balance between taking photos and enjoying our day. We love Wiley and can’t recommend him enough!

Hiring Wiley was one of our best decisions during the wedding planning process. He fit seamlessly into the wedding party and kept things light and fun while still being mindful of our wants and constraints. The quality of his photos is unmatched - for both our engagement pics and wedding pics, we were absolutely blown away. We highly recommend him! The only constructive criticism I would offer is regarding communication and deadlines. He missed our rehearsal dinner completely - I had bought a red dress specifically for it so it would pop against all the other photos in white. If we would have known he wouldn’t be there, we could have had others take photos but were expecting him. We also were informed of who the second shooter was about a week before the wedding. For a type A planner like me, I prefer changes to not happen at the 11th hour. In addition, we had to reach out several times about our photos. He replied with a date he would get us photos back by. More than a month later, I reached out again having to ask for an update. While I don’t want to rush the editing process, if you tell me a date, it is in my head and on my calendar. An update would have gone a long way. With that said, communication and deadlines are a small price to pay when you see the finished product. Looking forward to working with Wiley again in the future.

What can you say about Wiley? The list of compliments is truly endless. We met with Wiley first when we were hunting for wedding photographers, and after our initial meeting, decided not to meet with any others. Wiley is an amazingly awesome guy and does a great job working with you to make you feel comfortable and match your personalities to the photoshoots. We did both our engagement session at Discovery Park in Seattle and our wedding in Leavenworth with Wiley. Throughout it all, Wiley was on-point, capturing fantastic photos that come out looking natural and not over-photo-shopped with a ‘glossy’ feel. He brought an amazing assistant to our wedding as well, and she was lovely to work with. Wiley was loved by friends and family alike while working, and came to hang with us as a friend for the after-party. We also received TONS of positive comments from friends and family who interacted with Wiley at the wedding. We can’t say enough nice things about Wiley as a guy and don’t want to understate how good his photography and photos come out, they are truly wonderful. Wiley, we’re happy to have met you and become friends during this process, thanks for capturing all the beautiful moments of our day!

Wiley was really a fantastic photographer. He spent a lot of time getting to know us before the wedding - just getting to know our wants and priorities, talking us through photoshoot ideas and giving lots of advice - so by the time our wedding came around he seemed more like just our (talented and professional) friend. At the wedding he was working non-stop, always seemed to be in the right place for a picture but never in the way. He directed everyone for pictures really gracefully and had a great eye for where to shoot. Right after our reception we went to the foothills and had a blast doing a photoshoot with him! His photos have a consistent style without being too trendy, and he is flexible about making any black/white when appropriate or upon request. It took a while to get our pictures (he is a busy man and takes a LOT of photos) but we didn't rush him and it wasn't a big deal. And, maybe most importantly(?), we found it really easy to see, download, print, etc. our photos. I highly recommend Wiley if you're looking for someone who is super skilled, professional and personable.

Wiley was so wonderful! He went above and beyond to get all the photos we wanted and more. We felt so comfortable and relaxed around Wiley, truly a great person and photographer.

Wiley was the best photographer we could have dreamed of for our wedding! He answers calls, emails or texts quickly and is willing to travel to meet you. We met him for dinner and immediately felt comfortable with Wiley. He is fun and personable and it felt like we were hanging out with a long lost friend. For our wedding day, we have a 9 mile round trip hike into the mountains and Wiley was so excited which made us even more excited! My husband and I aren't very socially active and can be a little awkward and shy when the camera is pointed as us. Wiley helped us stay at ease and our photos are absolutely stunning! We cannot wait for our full album.

Wiley is a very professional photographer and someone we had hoped would be the photographer at our wedding. Unfortunately some unexpected things came up during our planning process that made it so Wiley wasn't able to be at the wedding. That did not stop Wiley from helping us find another phenomenal photographer and making sure there was not a hitch at all in our wedding. This was something that he went above and beyond to do which we are so appreciative of. There is much more than just taking wedding day pictures for the photographer to do and Wiley helped us through all if that including ideas on what shots to take as a group, the timeline on when to take pictures and just general tips on what will look best the day of. So while Wiley did not shoot our wedding we wanted to let everyone know that he is amazing to work with and is such a professional in his work.

We just did our engagement shoot and he was absolutely fantastic! We have a unique situation in that are five-year-old believe the wedding is as much about him as it is about. Wiley was so supportive and encouraging of all of us and the pictures that we did get to see tonight we're absolutely beautiful! We are looking forward to seeing all of the beautiful photography and all of those perfect little moments that he captures.

Wiley is absolutely amazing! He is professional, responsive, and truly talented! He was very accommodating with our schedules by scheduling a Skype meeting to discuss our ideas and wishes several months in advance of the wedding, as well as, met us for coffee a few days prior to the wedding. Wiley is very personable and energetic making it so easy to relax in front of the camera! His images are absolutely beautiful and showcase the natural beauty of the scenery and subject matter with minimal touch-up. Wiley photographed our wedding and was with us during every step; from the time we were getting ready, to the ceremony, and to the reception. He ensured that he captured every moment with both candids and formal family photos. We had several guests comment on Wiley's professionalism and work ethic throughout our event. Wiley also allows his couples to have the rights to the images which many photographers are reluctant to do. We cannot say enough positive things about Wiley and would absolutely recommend him to any one.

Wiley was a dream to work with! He took our engagement photos in Tacoma, WA and then flew down to Santa Cruz, CA to take our wedding photos as well. We decided to hire him for our wedding because of his personal touch during out engagement photo shoot. His goal for our engagement shoot was to disappear into the background, so that my husband and I could relax and have photos that candidly show our love for each other. Boy was he successful! We LOVE our engagement photos, and have received so many compliments on them. Our guests were excited to meet Wiley at the wedding, and kept asking us if we were using the same photographer, because of the work he did on our engagement photos. So, we hired Wiley for the wedding. He was hands down my favorite vendor to work with! He answered my questions leading up to the wedding promptly, and made sure we had a one-on-one meeting before the wedding so that he could get an idea of the schedule, layout, and what photos we absolutely had to get. He took photos of our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. On our wedding day, he spent the ENTIRE day with us. There was no time limit and no stress about getting one last photo before he left (we left before he did!). One amazing thing I can say about Wiley: I have absolutely no idea where he was standing during the ceremony. He was so quiet and inconspicuous that I forgot he was even there! After the ceremony, he worked his butt off in the hot sun to make sure we got all the posed portraits we wanted. During the reception, I, again, have no idea where he was because he was so quiet! The morning after our wedding he sent us six edited photos, and they are beautiful! I can't wait to see the rest! I highly recommend working with Wiley. He will make you laugh, relax, fell absolutely confident in yourself, and give you phenomenal photos to remember you big day.
