Mike did a fantastic job for our wedding, could not be happier with our selection. The crew at Will Nye was very flexible on timeline of our event, was able to meet in the evening hours to talk through plans, and was adaptable to requests day-of. I hired Will Nye the DJ Guy for my 80th birthday party, and Josh Carter was my DJ. He was awesome! I had a lot of guests from out of state, including the East Coast, and everyone was very complimentary about Josh. While planning the party, Josh was very professional, courteous, and patient. He helped me stay calm during a stressful part of the process. He was very open to any requests, and I had a couple "out-of-the-ordinary" requests. I told Josh what I would l/would not like, and he gave me exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend Josh for any type of party!!!

Jay was the DJ for our wedding and he did so so good! We got married at Stone Prairie and the sound was perfect even for being outside. He made the entire day run smoothly by announcing the timeline periodically. The music for our dance portion was the best! I told him to prioritize any of our wedding party requests because those were the ones on the dance floor and he crushed it! All my guests raved about the music and dance floor staying busy all night. Lots of sore feet the next day. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone and book him for any other events needing a DJ going forward.

My HUSBAND and I ;) got married on 6/15/24 and we had CJ the DJ. I cannot tell you how crazy our dance floor was. Not only did CJ work with us to put together the perfect grand entrance where each couple had their own walk-in song, but he also did an amazing job with our first dance, father-daughter, mother-son, garter toss and bouquet toss. It was awesome, and he was even cooler. We loved having him and he did fantastic!!!

Jay and Brennan were fantastic! I chose their Volume 1 package with a ceremony add on and couldn’t be more pleased with their services! Jay was super quick when it came to email communications, they sent a comprehensive questionnaire before the event, and they followed up with a phone call about a week before the wedding. I felt like they really took the time to understand what we wanted to get from their services. We also had a fair amount of custom music to play throughout the day and they were great with handling those tracks. We had seen them perform at a friend's wedding a few years before our own and were so impressed by their performance that we knew we had to book them for our wedding too. This proved to be the best decision ever! We had Sam as our DJ, and he was absolutely amazing! Sam was easy to communicate with, prompt to respond, and so accommodating to all my requests. I received so many compliments not only about how great the music was, but also how nice and communicative Sam was, and I couldn't agree more! He arrived early, made sure the officiant was all set up with the mics, and played all my favorite songs. We also had the mirror booth for our wedding, and it was so much fun! Shannon, who helped man the booth was such a sweetheart. Our guests loved the mirror booth! Overall, we are so happy with our experience and highly, highly recommend Will Nye the DJ Guy! Thank you!!

Chuck was a fantastic DJ. We had some pretty specific requests for songs during our ceremony and during our dinner our hour and he played them all. He did everything we asked and was super nice to boot. I would highly recommend them. The company also didn't try to constantly upsell us on stuff, which I really appreciated.

Will was a friend in college, so choosing Will Nye the DJ guy was going to be the choice regardless, but our expectations were blown away. Will unfortunately wasn't the DJ, but Jay was absolutely phenomenal to have a part of on our special and hectic day. He arrived earlier than expected to set up, and made himself personally available to be of other help; whether it be to delegate non DJ tasks to help set up, to even offering to fetch the wedding party plenty of refreshments as we were getting ready. While other DJ's might just stay within that role, Jay went above and beyond to call the shots, coordinate entrances, and make our night (groom and bride) go swiftly and not even make many decisions ourselves; a great co-coordinator with the wedding event staff. And of course, the music was perfect. We gave Jay a general "vibe" to stick around rather than a set list, and he kept the energy right from start to finish. In the 920 area, Will Nye the DJ Guy should be your go to choice. Experienced, hardworking, and will without a doubt make sure your wedding is the perfect night.

Will Nye the DJ Guy was incredible! Our DJ was Jay. He was super flexible with our last minute changes and did a great job ensuring the music was exactly what we wanted. Wedding day he checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed (even not music related). There were still about 60+ guests on the dance floor at midnight and we owe that to the incredible DJ and songs that were played! He felt out the vibe of the crowd and played songs based on that. Would recommend him over and over again.

Nick and Sam were amazing! They captured every moment that we wanted with music! They helped so much with setting up and helping us figure out the little details we didn't even think about. We had a movie/marvel theme for our wedding and loved that this company was based off of Guardians of the Galaxy! Everyone that we worked with was super helpful and understanding. So when we were first deciding on a DJ, I immediately saw the name “Will Nye the DJ Guy” and made the decision right away to choose them! I’m a bit of a science nerd so it made sense and was perfect. Not only is the name awesome but so is the work they do! We just had our wedding yesterday (10/22) and the amount of detail and sincerity that Jay (coolest DJ ever, literally! And so were his trainees!) delivered was above and beyond. He never did anything without consulting us, although I’m far from picky so I left practically all decisions to him. All the songs we wanted were played! And when I tell you that they handle drunk people very well, I totally mean that! They danced and sang with us and literally just made us all have the best time! The best though was the help he gave us for our slideshow. He totally went above and beyond and helped us when we were struggling and he didn’t even have to. I would literally choose them over and over again! Thanks Jay and the trainees that helped us have the best day ever! You guys seriously rock!!!!

Jake with Will Nye the DJ Guy helped make our night a blast despite some curve balls! The maid of honor said her speech to a karaoke soundtrack that she coordinated with Jake, that was incredible. Later in the night, I had a wardrobe malfunction and ended up breaking my ankle. Throughout this ordeal, Jake remained professional and attentive and helped to save the night by keeping the dance floor busy. Everyone commented on how much fun they had and what a memorable night it was!
