I was a bit nervous going into this without having met William for engagement photos (we opted out) but boy, did he provide us with some beautiful photos. We received them exactly two weeks after our wedding and we’ve already spent numerous hours going through HUNDREDS of GORGEOUS photos. I am blown away by his work along with his professionalism and way of making us feeling comfortable and relaxed the entire day. Truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

We hired William after my brother hired him for his wedding! I was confident with our choice, but then after my brother's wedding in April I was ecstatic! Not only was every photo beautiful, but William was amazing to work with, super flexible, and the full photos arrived quickly. Fast forward to our wedding in August and once again we are blown away! William was so responsive to every request and incredibly patient and kind. I teared up watching him organize our detail photos. He put so much care into organizing the special items, and the photos came out beautiful. Each little moment of our day and night were captured perfectly! Beyond amazing pictures, William is so professional and personable, he doesn't make you feel rushed and kept the day going in a way that kept us all calm. We got to enjoy all the moments without rushing from photo to photo. I truly cannot recommend him more!

We hired William as our wedding photographer and it was one of the best decisions we made! Not only does he capture moments you didn't even knew happened, ensure you get your photos from your shot list, AND grab the best candids - but he's also incredibly nice and easy to work with, and got our photos back to us less than 3 weeks after our wedding. William is THE BEST !! He shot two of our friends weddings, and he came highly recommended from them! He did our engagement shoot in June 2022, and just shot our wedding on 05/13! He said turn around time would be a few weeks to a month, and we got the pictures pack in just two weeks!! We are SO in love with all of our pictures & are SO happy we went with him! Communicating with him during the planning process was a breeze - he responded to my emails in a very timely manner & was so sweet! I would highly recommend him for all your wedding pic needs. If we had to do the whole wedding over again, we would hire him again in a heartbeat!

William was by far one of the best vendors we booked for our April wedding. He was incredibly professional, communicative, and talented. He was very thorough and made sure to keep in touch with my fiance and I as our date approached. He kept us on time without ever rushing us or making us feel stressed. He blended in to the point where we were not always cognizant that our picture was being taken which lead to amazing candid shots, but also was great at suggesting other poses, making sure we were getting the shots we requested as needed. William was a dream to work with as our wedding photographer! We found him through our venue's list of preferred vendors and fell in love with his candid, full-of-light, full-of-emotion photography style. We got married last month (April 2023) at the Mountainville Manor in Mountainville, NY. William was punctual, easy-going, and such a professional. He was flexible when we were running behind for the first look, blended in effortlessly throughout the day's events, and took so many truly gorgeous candid photos that he was able to get to us within two weeks of the wedding (!!) -- we can't believe they're all ours! William's work brought out the best in us, our loved ones, and the little moments that made our day so special. He made every step in the process seamless and stress-free. William was the absolute best! We had a few friends that hired him for their weddings, so we already knew our pictures would be beautiful and he did not disappoint. I love that his photo style is more true to natural colors and he focuses on capturing authentic moments. Leading up to the wedding he was very organized and quick to respond back to any questions and created a perfect timeline for the day. On the day of the wedding he was so nice and super calm, he did not make me feel stressed at all when I was running behind schedule. We were able to do all of our posed pictures ahead of the ceremony, I sent over specific shots I wanted and they came out better than I could have imagined! Throughout the night he captured so many candid moments on the dance floor and my husband & I, and our guests that I will cherish forever. We received our pictures back completely edited within a week, and there were so many he truly did not miss a moment! EVERYONE has been raving about the pictures and we are SO happy with them. We were drawn to William style of candid photos and the overall vibe we felt after reading his business bio. We were looking for someone who had more of a relaxed vibe and wasn't overly prescriptive when it came to taking posed wedding photos. That being said, William is that person and absolutely great to work with. He has an amazing eye and somehow is everywhere all at once. He exceeded our expectations and the pictures were ready less than 2 weeks after the wedding. He took over 1,000 pictures and captured the day perfectly! All of our guests and the moments we remembered (and some we forgot about) were captured. It was extremely cold on our wedding day but he still encouraged us to go outside and get some beautiful nature shots. He respected our preference of not having a lot of posed shots and gave us prompts for more casual things to do. The pictures came out gorgeous I cannot stop looking through them. I highly highly recommend him!

He was very prompt to answer all of our questions and helped us decide on a start time for our outdoor ceremony based on the sunset time so it wasn't too dark for photos. He helped us iron out the timeline of our day, which was so helpful in the last few weeks of the planning process. Will was an essential part of our wedding process. He did our initial engagement photos and helped us with selecting the right site for the shoot, and turned around the engagement photos in less than 1 week of completion. Then for the wedding, he was extremely responsive in the planning process, showed up early to start shooting some of the requested detail shots, and took masterful pictures to capture our special day. We will treasure these pictures forever, and owe a big THANK YOU to Will. We would 1000% recommend hiring him for your events!

William was amazing to work with. He was responsive to all my emails, took time to meet with us before we signed our contract, and met with us again one week before the wedding to confirm we had all of our details in order. William did our engagement shoot and wedding photos and sent us the full downloadable files within TWO WEEKS!! I booked William because I love the way he edits his photos but I am thrilled beyond the edits; his demeaner, timely responses, and chill personality were just what we needed!

I am seriously in awe of William's talent! I did a lot of "online shopping" for a wedding photographer. It was very important to us to have some more artistic shots and candids (as that is what we like), in addition to beautiful posed portraits (for our parents)! William totally checked all our wedding photographer boxes. His creativity and eye for unique, but beautiful angles gave us just the most stunning engagement and wedding photos. I am the luckiest bride because I had Will as my photographer. He is simply phenomenal, both in the way he works and in his photos. William is amazing!! We worked with him three different times - once for the engagement photo shoot, another time for our small covid wedding ceremony, and then again for our vow renewal and reception this past October. He was incredible to work with each time and we got our photos SO FAST. I mean seriously this guy must work day and night because we got just over 1,500 edited photos in less than two weeks. I didn't originally purchase an album in our wedding package but I am now going to purchase one because I am so in love with all the photos and would rather give him our money to make an album than order one elsewhere. If I could give William Hendra Photography 1000000 out of 10, I would. I believe our photos speak for themselves, yet I can’t help but gush about what a wonderful experience we had. Bill is easy going and flexible, with a serious passion for photography and superior attention to detail. We booked Bill for our original wedding date of June 5, 2020 – and then COVID hit. Bill was super easy to work with while rescheduling our wedding date (not once, but twice) and even came to photograph our small, micro-wedding in my in-law’s backyard which we planned to have on our original date. He did not even bat an eye when I called him on the morning of June 5 in tears because of the torrential downpour that would occur during our ceremony, and quickly agreed when we decided to move everything to the next day instead. When our wedding day finally came on September 26, 2021, Bill and his assistant arrived early and made sure to capture all of the specific photos I requested, and some I never even thought to ask for! Bill is quiet and blends in with your wedding, but is able to efficiently organize and photograph even the craziest family and wedding parties, including mine  On top of the wonderful day of experience we had with Bill, I received 1300+ gorgeous photos EIGHT DAYS after our wedding. And I am obsessed with Every. Single. One. My wedding was one of the most wonderful days of my life and I am so grateful we hired Bill to capture it. After your wedding day is over, your photographs are *literally* the only thing you have left, and I look forward to seeing these pictures for the rest of my life.

We cannot express how much we enjoyed working with William! He is an effective and efficient communicator. William was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was super calm during high stress moments for us (our pictures were on the Asbury boardwalk on a summer Saturday with a possible forecast of rain). He was prompt and professional and gave us say in the types of photos that we wanted for our wedding. William is very easy going and we felt immediately comfortable in front of the camera. William did an exceptional job of photographing our wedding. Even though it was a rainy day, he managed to make the best of the setting and chose beautiful backdrops for our pictures. During the ceremony, he worked extremely hard to capture all of the important shots (we were impressed by how discreetly he did this while we were at the altar!). He’s super personable and made us feel comfortable the whole time. The turn around time for the pictures was fast and everything was edited tastefully. The final pictures are high quality and easy to share via a link to an online gallery. For the high quality of his work, William is an incredible value. William is AMAZING! I was speechless when we received our wedding album! The photos were beautiful and the turnaround time was so fast. I was not expecting that! We had a great experience working with William, from our photo engagement session to the wedding day. William was friendly, professional, and made us feel at ease. On the wedding day, I have no idea how William captured some of our shots. He took wonderful pictures of my wedding dress, stationery, etc., while I was getting my hair and makeup done. I was not involved at all, but I am so happy with how the pictures turned out and his attention to detail. Throughout the wedding, William did a great job of capturing posed and candid photos. He never missed an opportunity and we even snuck out for a beautiful sunset photo during the reception. I would definitely recommend William!! William is an amazing photographer who is a pleasure to work with. He is very easy to be around, and he gave us gorgeous photos from our initial engagement shoot in 2019. With the Covid pandemic, he was really flexible about our wedding plan revisions and this helped keep the re-planning process low-stress for me. We got our microwedding photos back (10 days after our wedding!), and we have gotten so many compliments on these photos. It's been very hard for me to pick which ones to print and display. I'm so glad we chose William as our photographer, and if we ever have a big wedding reception in the future, I will definitely book him again.

I actually found William through Facebook when a friend posted her engagement photos and they were SO GORGEOUS! I just HAD to contact him. No surprise, our engagement photos also turned out amazing. I have them printed all over my house. He was so easy to work with, made us feel so comfortable, and gave me so so many variations and options to pick from for my save the dates. It only made me more excited about my wedding photos. Then COVID hit. William reached out to me before I even had the chance to be concerned about what was going to happen with my wedding and reassured me that he would try to make anything that I needed work. We ended up keeping our wedding date, but changing the venue to be outdoors. William was so flexible, helpful, professional, and just awesome throughout the whole process. My wedding photos came out so amazingly gorgeous that I am going to need to buy a bigger house with more wall space because I have too many favorites. I couldn't say more nice things about William. He and his team were awesome. Any time throughout my wedding when I was dancing with a family member or with someone I love and thought to myself "gee I hope they get this" I would turn around and there they were. They were everywhere, but also you wouldn't notice them unless you were really looking. I have so many beautiful memories that I get to relive every time I look through all of the photos. They made all of my wedding photo dreams come true.

Will is very good at his job. He is patient enough to deal with the iPhone photographers and other distractions that inevitably come on the wedding day, but is professional enough to get the shots he needs to get. He and his second shooter Brian were always where they needed to be, never in the way of the moment but never away from the image they needed to create. His expertise and experience showed in the more than 1300 beautiful images he delivered to us less than 2 weeks after the wedding. Above all, Will is a genuinely nice guy who is easy to work with. If you are reading this because you are searching for a wedding photographer my advise to you would be to BOOK WILLIAM HENDRA NOW. Our family wedding was held out of state (William was sadly not our photographer) and months after the wedding, when we finally received our family wedding photos, we were heartsick. Desperate and disappointed, we did a search here in our home state of NJ and found William Hendra. I must have sounded as devastated as I felt because he agreed to edit our family formal pictures. OMG. WOW!!! His artistry and editing skills are amazing. He performed magic for us and for that we will be eternally grateful. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

We are so happy we choose William to be our wedding photographer! From the engagement shoot to the wedding day William and his team were nothing but professional and efficient! After our engagement shoot we received the pictures back in just a couple days, and for the wedding we got all 1,200+ pictures back in a week and a half! The best way to describe William and his photography partner were like worker bees, flying around to capture every moment of our wedding! From getting ready to the dance party they were there snapping away. The edited photos came out beautifully and I'm so happy with all the candid and heartfelt moments he was able to capture. He is easy to work with, willing to travel (and get a little sandy), and responded quickly to questions and comments. He makes great suggestions for shot locations and has a keen eye for what looks good. So glad he helped us capture one of the most important events in our life!

We loved working with William on our wedding day and engagement photo shoot! He captured every little moment of our wedding perfectly. William was great to work with! His personality was very friendly and he made us feel comfortable. He went along with our quirky personalities and also stuck it out for all the crazy weather we had! His photos really told a story.

We loved working with William. He is very kind and easy going. I wanted a local photographer who captured the moment. After researching him a bit I loved his style of photography. He completely understood what we were going for and captured the reception perfectly. I wanted to see natural reactions and people enjoying themselves - the real moments of the event. He did a great job and everyone has enjoyed the photos.

Working with William was such a delight and he definitely delivered in his photography!! He really has a natural eye for catching the BEST moments in the most picturesque way. He is very creative and is very good at locating the perfect background. William is very friendly and made our photography experience so comfortable--especially considering how awkward my fiance (now husband) and I were around the camera. He was never pushy nor did he make us pose in tacky ways--everything he did was so organic and he really did catch us in our most natural states. I, for one, am not one to take posed pictures, but really wanted something that captured the true essence of my husband and I---which William definitely did with his photos. The package we purchased included an engagement photo session. We had to reschedule about 3 times because it kept raining on the date we chose; however, William was SO easy to work with and really accommodated to our scheduling needs. Even though we chose to take our pictures during peak-wedding season, he did all he could to make it work. And it did! William had recommended a local park for us to take pictures and we really had a fun time with him! We got down and dirty, getting our feet wet and climbing tree stumps (never forced by William, but he made sure everything we did was within our comfort zone). The pictures came out AMAZING. All our friends and family were saying how the pictures were so creative and different than normal engagement photos. Moving onto the wedding day... As with most weddings, there were some timing hiccups in the morning, where we ended up running behind schedule. Despite all of this, William and his co-photographer, Brian, were so understanding and never once made us feel pressured. They came early, and they stayed until the end of the night.. which was definitely not expected of them, but they really wanted to capture the emotions of the entire night. They went out of their way to deliver the best quality photos for our wedding day, even getting down on the ground to get the best angle of us. During our wedding photo shoot, we had such a great time with Will and Brian--full of laughter and genuine happiness. Will & Brian are seriously the best team! At the end of the night, they even managed to pull us out so we could take a really beautiful picture outdoors, and that ended up being one of our favorite pictures. Also, let me just tell you how quick Will's turnaround time for photos is. So our engagement photos were back to us within a week, and our wedding photos (over 1,000 photos) were back to us in exactly 9 days...all edited and perfected. Will is not only skilled at what he does, but he's so efficient and you can tell he puts 100% into all he does. We also went with their photobooth service, which was great!! They had fun props and the photo quality was great. We even got to select the design of the photo strip. All in all, we are SO glad we went with William Hendra Photography. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I'd go with William for photography in a heart beat!! Nowadays, it's so hard to find a photographer who actually cares, but with William, he is provides great photos and services. I cannot rave enough about how much we loved our photos and how he caught all of those special moments. The emotions were so clear in the pictures. 20 out of 10 I recommend William Hendra Photography.

William was hands down the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. From the beginning he was super helpful answering any and all questions we had including album examples as well as all of his wedding work. Fast to respond and very detailed. He also had a great sense of humor which helped during the engagement and wedding party shots. Engagement session was smooth even after a rescheduling due to snow. Wedding day was perfect and he made sure he got every shot we asked for. Working with him to create the album was a breeze and that turned out phenomenal! William is also very affordable and willing to work with your price point. We would recommend William to any couple getting married as he was the best!!

Mr. Hendra was very pleasant to work with and took both beautiful portrait and candid photos of my husband and I, our families, and all of our guests! I highly recommend him.

Will and his team were truly a "find" in our wedding vendor search. His beautiful, rich photos speak for themselves, but on a personal level, Will was so easy to work with and down to earth, making the photo-taking process easy and comfortable. He braved 40 degree beach weather with us for our engagement session, which we loved, and he and his assistant absolutely delivered on our wedding day despite the weather being not so cooperative. The result is timeless, rich photographs that serve as an authentic memory of our day, as opposed to overly posed, fabricated, over-edited images. We really couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

William is such a great guy! His photographs are simply stunning. He makes an effort to get to know the couple he is working with and makes sure they are comfortable in front of the camera. He is flexible and patient. Our guests at the reception got a little rowdy, but William captured moments that were timeless and fun! We had the privilege of having William capture our wedding day photos! He's so talented and professional. He quietly captured all of our moments as it was happening and was able to recreate our memories in the photos he caught. We are always moving around (so we thought it'd be a tough time to take pictures!), but William did such a great job to capture the exact moments. Photo booth was also a great add-on! William.. Finding a photographer for our fall 2018 wedding was not the easiest part of the planning process. Luckily I eventually came across William’s profile and instantly fell in love with his work and his ability to bring each couple’s personalities into his photos. After speaking with William over an initial call he seemed extremely knowledge and flexible to work with. He was an easy choice to hire for our 9/22 wedding. My husband worked with William twice, the first being our spring engagement shoot in Central Park NY. We had such a great time exploring Central Park with William and particularly loved his suggestion that we rent a row boat to capture additional pictures during sunset- these pictures came out amazing! We worked with William a second time during our September wedding. William was again wonderful to work with and came armed with locations and pose ideas for our portrait pictures. William was even extremely patient and willing to have us set up time slots to take pictures with our extended family -this is not something most photographers I spoke with would agree to do, but William was supportive and willing to make this happen for us. We received all of our pictures back in less than a month and were blown away by William’s work and by all of the special moments he captured from our wedding day. William is a joy to work with and will not disappoint!

My husband and I hired William for our 9/2/2018 wedding. His package also included an engagement photo session. For our engagement photos, William gave us a lot of suggestions in choosing a location and was very flexible when it came to scheduling. My husband and I are not great in front of the camera, but William is so easy-going and made us feel comfortable. Between our initial contact and wedding day, he was very quick to respond when emailing which was greatly appreciated during that stressful time. On our wedding day, William and his second photographer Daniel were great- they took all of the pictures we asked for and came up with some creative shots that we wouldn’t have thought of. William got the pictures to us within a couple of weeks and they looked beautiful. We highly recommend William!

I feel like I have started to write this review five times but cannot figure out where to begin-- I had spent hours and hours researching photographers, and we are SO grateful we found William. We would not change anything. Working with William and his assistant that day was so easy and wonderful. I was a bit anxious about the fact we hadn't met in person prior to the day, though we had a few video calls, but when we met, I felt like I had met him. He is so easy to work with, so polite, so detail-oriented. The two arrived early, were utmost professionals, and everyone in the wedding party loved them. Even the detail of him clasping my shoes before taking a photo of them (this being before I had them on my feet of course), so they looked more put together, stood out to me. William is perceptive and went with the flow of the day so well. We got married in a Catholic church, and we never had to worry about where they were during the ceremony. Having them both, they were able to capture bride and groom at the same time, as well as the congregation. During the reception, they did such a great job of capturing not only the two of us, but everyone on the dance floor, as well as laughter and smiles at the tables. The photos came back to us in under three weeks-- we couldn't believe it, especially during September, a very busy wedding month. The results blew us away. Tears in our eyes as we relived the happy day and were overwhelmed with joy at the photos. Just incredible how he captured moments, reactions, the light--in both daytime and nighttime as well as in a dark church-- I could go on and on!

William was fantastic to work with from the engagement photos, listening to what we were looking for wedding wise, and capturing every important moment in it's entirety. Every time I look back at the photos, I transport back to that day, and can remember details that I never would have expected to. It was honestly the best day of my life. We are extremely pleased with how our photos came out. Did I mention the turn around time was two weeks- which to me was insanely fast. We have a few friends who were married and waited about two months for their photos. We got back from our honeymoon and had our pictures, to re-live the day. William is professional, detail orientated, and produces quality work. I would recommend him 100% to any one who asks.

William was absolutely amazing. If you want amazing photos for your wedding along with an equally amazing photographer - then William is the person you want to work with. He was so thorough, professional, and detail oriented it really made our wedding go smoothly! He was always very responsive and helpful through email and phone calls and totally put us at ease with any questions we had. On the day of, he was on time and completely prepared. I really appreciated that he was able to give direction and get the pictures we wanted within the time frame we had. He did not miss a single moment and captured everything so beautifully. William is an incredibly talented photographer. My husband and I were immediately drawn to his work when looking into photographers for our recent wedding. His photos have a real-life quality you don't often see in event photography. It's like seeing snapshots of a documentary about your big day. He captures the atmosphere so well! We also like that he is down to earth and provides a personal feel to the day. We didn't want a huge photography team following us around, adding to the stressful "production" of the day. Definitely would recommend him!

I can’t say enough good things about William and his team! William did our engagement and wedding photos. His photography style captured our wedding day perfectly. We used William for our engagement and wedding photos for our wedding on May 11th 2018 at Old Tappan Manor.  I honestly can't stop raving about him and his work.  William is so easy to work with , very down to earth and for a girl who hates to pose and feels off when taking pictures he made me feel extremely comfortable.  We had our engagement photos at Woodwillow and every single picture just had me in 'awe' and our wedding day photos are so incredible i couldn't be happier!  I am so glad that we picked William Hendra Photography for our special day.  After going through all my photos if there was anything I could go back and redo i honestly can say i can't think of one photo. I also need to mention that he was such a great sport for our wedding party of 18 which is a LOT to handle (not including my uncles who walked me down the aisle) and a wedding of 150 guests he got EVERY moment, his pictures were so good that i wish i had more :)  . From start to finish William was professional, friendly, rolled with the flow of the day (especially because my list of what pictures i wanted never made it to him - due to my email not working properly - i had many hiccups during my planning), he always with a smile, and i never had to worry about a thing. He made the booking process easy, setting up our engagement photos was easy, and getting responses in a timely manor was effortless. I chose Bill to shoot our wedding because I loved the aesthetic of his photos- natural, journalistic, and composed of beautiful colors. He and Andrew worked seamlessly together and my husband and I were able to be ourselves for the entirety of the day. So many photos were spontaneous and in the moment, you can really see just how happy and full of love we felt that day. We are so happy with our photos and look at them constantly! They are truly so beautiful. We have already recommended Bill to many people.

My husband and I booked William for our wedding in October, and it was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! He is super responsive and captured every moment. Planning a wedding has you take on so much, but he was there and captured our vision and provided us with countless memories through our photos. William was amazing to work with! I can't say enough good things about him and he was truly one of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding. He made posing for pictures extremely easy for two very awkward people. Even with direction from him, none of the pictures looked staged or unnatural. We found William on the knot! I was nervous bc I wasn’t referred I just happen to come across his porforlio (which was amazing) and knew he was the guy from us. My photos are seriously beyond amazing! I will let anyone go through the ten million he took! Seriously captured every beautiful candid! William is just incredible. I was really nervous about the whole photography thing at my wedding—my husband and I are awkward people who take VERY awkward photos. William was patient with us and listened carefully to what we were looking for from our photos and holy hell, did he deliver. When we got our pictures back, we were thrilled to see how natural we looked. We were also over the moon with all of the candid shots he got of our ceremony and reception. He always seemed to know where the action was and captured so many of the moments that we missed. There's one picture in particular of my mom trying to sneak a taste of the wedding cake that makes me laugh every time I see it. Beyond his technical expertise, William is also an amazingly nice dude who is an absolute pleasure to have around on a very stressful and busy day. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
