We found ourselves in a challenging situation when our original photographer had an accident just three weeks before our wedding. That's when we met Will, who graciously stepped in...
to save the day. From our first conversation, Will’s responsiveness and attentiveness immediately put us at ease during this stressful time.
Will was incredibly flexible with our package, accommodating our request to include two parent albums instead of an engagement shoot, which turned out to be a perfect fit for us. Despite the tight timeframe, he agreed to a walk-through of our venue and adjusted his services to align with our budget.
On the wedding day, Will was punctual and impeccably organized. His ability to capture the essence of our day with such artistry was nothing short of amazing. He had an incredible eye for detail and made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. The natural, joyful expressions in our photos are a testament to his skill.
The photos surpassed our expectations, capturing everything from the heartfelt candid moments to the elegant formal portraits. Will’s exceptional service and dedication added a special touch to our wedding day, making it even more memorable.
We are profoundly grateful for Will's hard work and commitment. If you're looking for a photographer who goes above and beyond to capture the magic of your special day, we wholeheartedly recommend Will. His talent and professionalism truly made a difference for us.
Honoring a Loved One: Thank you Boston Photographer William Tangorra and Funeral Home Director Anthony O'Donnell
During a time of profound loss and heartache, we were fortunate to...
have the exceptional services of both Boston photographer William Tangorra and funeral home director Anthony O'Donnell. Their combined efforts provided us with comfort, support, and the ability to honor my beloved partner of 22 years in the most meaningful way possible.
William Tangorra's artistry behind the lens beautifully captured the essence of my partner, preserving memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. His professionalism, sensitivity, and attention to detail ensured that each photograph told a story of love and remembrance.
In addition to William's exquisite work, we were blessed to have the guidance and support of funeral home director Anthony O'Donnell and his loving expert staff. With funeral homes in Salem and Danvers, Massachusetts, Anthony's dedication to serving diverse cultures was evident in every aspect of the arrangements. His staff's sensitivity and knowledge allowed us to navigate this difficult time with grace and understanding.
Together, William Tangorra and Anthony O'Donnell have provided us with a sense of peace and closure as we bid farewell to my partner. Their commitment to excellence and compassion have truly made a difference in our lives during this challenging period.
In reflection, I wholeheartedly recommend both William Tangorra and Anthony O'Donnell for their exceptional services. Their expertise and genuine care have left a lasting impression on our family, and for that, we are forever grateful. With heartfelt gratitude,
Katherina Rosio Mena
In loving memory of Christopher A. Wood
We hired Will on a recommendation from someone who hadn't used him personally, but was a fan of his work - and I am so glad we did! Will had the exact personality we needed for our...
big day. He was flexible with his time when it came to scheduling phone calls and the engagement shoot, and this time allowed us to get to know each other. We enjoyed working with him for the engagement shoot, and we were extremely happy with the results, so we knew he'd get the shots we wanted on our big day. During the planning process, Will was easy to stay in contact with. We had a few emails back and forth while we were figuring out the timing details and he replied to each one. He scheduled a details meeting a couple of weeks before the big day and it was during this time that we went through each and every aspect better than a wedding planner!
On our wedding day, Will arrived for the getting ready photos right on time. He checked out the space and took the details shots so that we could get the rings to the boys on time. He took photos as we got ready without being intrusive. Once we moved on to formal photos, Will always found the perfect spot for us to pose. He took amazing photos at the church, not just of us but of the entire venue. After the ceremony, we went to the reception site and took what felt like a million photos. He was always on the lookout for the next great spot, pose or lighting. I enjoyed how he experimented with artistic options and immediately showed them to us for feedback. Will did a great job capturing our entire day, including all aspects of the reception as well - he even stayed late into the night to capture the dance floor, which was above and beyond! He made it so fun and got every shot we wanted. Will stayed in touch after the wedding and gave us updates on how our photos were coming - we got sneak peaks while we were still on our honeymoon and the remainder of the photos were sent just a couple weeks after that. We loved working with Will and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a photographer!

g everyone feel comfortable and happy to be there. The angles and shots he comes up with is true art. We love Will and highly recommend that everyone use his photo services! Thank you William Tangorra Photography!
Will was absolutely phenomenal, and I can’t believe I’m so delinquent in writing his review! We got married in December of last year with an outdoor photo shoot before the ceremony...
. Will was a dream to work with (and a real trooper for putting up with the cold), but most importantly, the photos were fantastic. Looking at them together was like reliving our wedding day, and Will captured the perfect blend of spontaneous moments and more planned portraits. I’d recommend him in a heartbeat for his talent and professionalism.

ble, and his work is exquisite. He went above and beyond for both our wedding and engagement photos, always employing his incredible creativity to find the best shots while also taking into account our "must-have" shots or other ideas. We did not have or need a second shooter at our wedding, and I think that is testament to how hard-working and organized Will is. When we got back our wedding photos, there are are numerous pictures where my husband and I remarked how on earth was he able to capture those different angles within a couple seconds of each other. I would HIGHLY recommend Will to anyone planning a wedding in the Boston area! I know my sister and other relatives will absolutely look to work with Will in the future.

as his passion for capturing all of our special moments. When he took a truly exceptional shot, he took the time to show us, which made the picture taking portion of our day all the more exciting and memorable. I highly recommend Will, and am so grateful we will be able to relive our wedding day through the beautiful photos he took.
I simply cannot say enough amazing things about Will! He photographed my brother's wedding back in 2012 and I knew I had to have him for my wedding this past November. Will is so ...
personable & captured every shot I ever could have wanted! Looking the pictures he took is allowing me to relive my wedding day, moment by moment. I'm so grateful he shared his talents with us for our special day. I would choose Will 100 times out of 100! Thanks again, Will, for everything!
Will is the absolute best!! Not only is he super fun to work with but our wedding pictures came out perfect! What I really loved about Will is that he is very relaxed and efficient...
; he made us feel comfortable (i.e.: not awkward) during engagement pictures. On our wedding day he took every shot we could have wanted and more (over 1500!!) without it feeling like all we did was take pictures. He is great at capturing the candid moments that we really treasure. Will was so amazing that one of my bridesmaids booked him the very next week for her wedding next summer!
Will was amazing to work with on our wedding day! He made us feel like we were old friends right from the beginning, and made us feel so comfortable! Such a blast to work with. The...

n shots that we requested as well. I loved how much Will was really there for me on the day of such as helping me put stickers on my shoes, calming my nerves when the air conditioning didn't work in our limo, helped us smile, fixed my hair in certain pictures, etc. He was great abkut also being everywhere during the day of but never getting in the way for pictures. He was a picture ninja and did not miss any of the key shots!

ding itself. I especially appreciated his creativity with the photographs, while not being over-the-top artsy like some of the other photographers I've seen. On our wedding day, he arrived early and was extremely flexible as we were running an hour late due to a bit of a fiasco at the hairdresser. He also remembered the small things, like reminding me to take the hair tie off of my wrist. Our whole family remarked at how he seemed to blend in so easily, and how he made even the camera-shy people feel comfortable. And on top of it all, he was actually one of the most reasonably priced photographers that we spoke with. Overall, just an outstanding experience with Will - so glad we were able to have him!
Will had creative ideas for photos. He is a pleasure to work with. You can tell he loves his work. He worked with us on creating a package given this was our second marriage and wa...

I found William Tangorra via Google while doing a Boston Best Photographer's search. His portfolio was beautiful and his prices were fair so I decided to reach out to him. From o...
ur first interview I knew he was the one I wanted to have shoot our wedding. He is so sweet, calm and easy to speak to. He was great with communication leading up to our wedding day and was happy to try and capture all of the "dream shots" I was hoping for. He did that and more. He captured our day beautifully and with such a calm nature. I would highly recommend him to any wedding couple looking for a photographer. It's hard to trust vendors now-a-days, and believe me when I say I've had my fair share of bad ones, but Will is just the opposite and was an absolute pleasure to work with. If there were ten stars, I'd give him all ten.
After our first photographer notified us four months before our wedding that she could not shoot it because she was pregnant, we scrambled to find a replacement photographer in the...
North Shore/New Hampshire area. This was all a blessing in disguise, because we came across Will Tangorra, our knight in shining armor wielding a couple of cameras.
Will was very personable and we quickly felt comfortable with him in our first meeting at his office. We had no doubt that Will had an eye for connecting with people; an important quality we hoped for in a photographer. He is very flexible and makes you feel really excited to work with him throughout the process. Will was also very good about communicating with us and letting us know where he was in the process of editing and processing our photos. We hired Will at a very early point in his career and we paid an introductory fee. His new fees are absolutely worth the price for the quality of work he provides.
On the day of the wedding, Will was an all-star. All the guests and wedding party exclaimed on his ability to work without being obtrusive. We referred to him as the ninja photographer among the wedding party. Will adapted well to the surroundings we were in and surprise weather changes that made for a challenging day. He captured who we are on our wedding day and this shined through in amazingly high quality photos.
We would recommend Will to any of our friends getting married in the area. He made the process so comfortable and easy.

second beautifully and without being obvious or intrusive- our family commented later that based on our pictures he was everywhere at once and we never noticed! He traveled out of state for our wedding and arrived early to get the lay of the land and stayed longer to ensure that every moment was captured. The pictures and albums are fabulous! Overall he was our favorite vendor to work with on our wedding day and we would recommend him to anyone!

ghtmare issues with him. We had a very lively reception and Will kept up with us throughout all of the dancing, laughing, and partying! The pictures from the event is proof! We relied on him to capture our special day and he delivered!

m for our guestbook, and I've gotten so many compliments from family and friends on our wedding photos. Will did a fantastic job capturing everything from little details to special moments. While the photos are amazing, I think my favorite part about using Will was that he was so easy to work with! As the bride it's so easy to be caught up in details and making the rounds, that you can forget to relax and have fun. At one point in the evening Will very politely mentioned that he had no photos of the bride dancing and got me out on the dance floor. It was just the reminder that I needed to enjoy the celebration! I would enthusiastically recommend Will Tangorra to any bride-to-be!
Wow is all we can say. ALL of the pictures are amazing and we cannot thank you enough. Please let us know if you ever need a reference or anything as we have nothing but good thing...
s to say! Thank you so much again and hopefully we will stay in contact.
That was the note we sent Will after wedding. He graciously squeezed us into his schedule just a few weeks before the wedding for engagement pictures that still adorn our house and Facebook profiles 5 years later. Will was nothing but professional and performed high quality work with a laid back attitude that provided us with a fun and calm part of wedding craziness.
Will was great to have around on our wedding day. He was unobtrusive but managed to capture so many great shots. Our guests commented on how many photos he was taking! We love our ...
wedding pictures and will cherish them for years to come. If you want a friendly photographer with attention to detail, hire Will!
We had planned to meet with several photographers prior to booking one, but found we didn't need to. As soon as we left our meeting with Will, we looked at each other and knew we ...
had to work with him! He is so personable and easy to talk to, which was our first priority when selecting our vendors. Will's experience and checklist helped us think about photos we wanted that we would never have thought about on our own. He made himself available from the very beginning of our preparations through the last dance. During the festivities it seemed like he was everywhere at once! We never had to ask him to get a shot because he was always just there. His energy was contagious, everyone loved him. And the finished product - I have received so many compliments on how gorgeous our photos are! We couldn't have asked for a better output and overall experience working with Will. We highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an extremely professional photographer who is also a ton of fun!
From the first meeting with Will at our wedding site, we knew he was the perfect fit! We hadn't decided on which rooms we were going to use at our location and he spent time after ...
the initial meeting walking around with us and giving us ideas about lighting and how pictures may or may not turn out. Will is very responsive and captured so many wonderful pictures of our day. Unlike other photographers we met with, we were extremely happy that he did not have a cap on the time spent with us the day of the wedding. He was there as soon as my make-up began, through the very last dance. He captured all of the wonderful details we worked so hard on, from the programs and flowers, to the guest book and reception menus. His work really captures the "feeling" of the event and this is exactly what we were looking for. Will is a pleasure to work with, you will be overjoyed with not only the quality of your pictures but more importantly the photographer himself!
Will is an absolutely amazing photographer!

r for us. He is a very genuine great person and truly cares about capturing moments that are important to the couple.
Will worked with us to create a custom package to fit our needs. He really went above and beyond for us not only shooting our wedding and engagement pictures but also a special commitment ceremony we had for my Dad since he is sick and may not make it to the actual wedding. We didn't ask for this to be included, Will offered.
Will worked with us on dates and times for our engagement shoot that really fit our schedule and is very prompt on communication (returning emails etc).
He provides full ownership of images which is very hard to find with wedding photographers these days and is a huge asset to his packages.
We really couldn't ask for anything more. We can't wait for Will to shoot our big day! He really puts the couple at ease on the big day and it feels like he's part of the family!
My future husband and I HIGHLY recommend Will for any photography needs. We plan to use him in the future for all family photos. Hes the best!

TH us, not for us, through the entire planning process and wedding.
He was excited about possibilities presented the lighting, scenery, and backgrounds and has a passion for his craft which shows in EVERY picture. The pictures are amazing and of the highest quality. He captured so many moments that not everyone was able to experience and now thanks to his pictures we can all enjoy.
He went above and beyond, even coming back inside to take one last photo from our list.
After the wedding, he stayed in touch, sharing some highlights while processing all the images expertly. The final pictures are initially posted in an easy to use and share site- what a bonus! Our guests are raving about the pictures, have been able to order them directly from him site and our families couldn't be happier... what more could you ask for.
You can trust him to capture the most important day of your life- we highly recommend him.
