About this vendor
Willoughby is a barn wedding-and-event venue in Green Bay, VA. The property is easy to reach from a number of nearby cities. This former dairy barn has undergone sizeable refurbishments in the last few years. It is now a sophisticated space for classic country celebrations.
The magnificent barn at Willoughby has a breathtaking white exterior. Bright horizontal paneling contrasts with rustic wooden doors and shutters. As a result, the building features a unique blend of modern and traditional. This simple facade offers a beautiful backdrop for wedding portraits. Large barn doors open to reveal a spacious interior. It is framed by exposed wooden poles and beams. These structural features make the space feel more enclosed. They create a warm, cozy setting to celebrate with loved ones. On the day, couples can show off their personal style with custom decor. Refined details play off the traditional aesthetic of the barn to display rustic elegance. These can include string lighting, votive candles, and delicate floral centerpieces. The venue has the potential to host exquisite country-style events.
This updated dairy barn has over 4,000 square feet of floor space. It accommodates up to 200 guests. A number of facilities and amenities are available to help the big day run smoothly. Private en-suite dressing rooms offer a peaceful hideaway for both sides of the wedding party. Here, soon-to-be-weds can take their time as they prepare to venture down the aisle. Couples can exchange vows in an outdoor service surrounded by lush greenery. The barn has an attached veranda for a relaxing outdoor cocktail hour. Moving onto the reception, guests can enjoy drinks from the converted-grain-bin bar. The happy couple is free to hire an outside caterer for their wedding meal. They will be granted the use of the on-site kitchen to prepare. Alternatively, venue staff can arrange the food. An in-house planner will help couples set their big day in motion. They will make it their mission to pull off an event that lives up to clients’ expectations.

lowed us to enjoy our only daughter’s day. It was magical, and executed flawlessly thanks to Willoughby. The barn is absolutely breathtaking. The bride and groom quarters are perfect. They are comfortable and private to be on the venue site most of the day. Danielle was a joy to work with. I highly recommend Willoughby as a superb wedding venue.
