we planned our wedding anniversary party after COVID cancellations. She and her team ensured that all of the details were taken care of throughout the day and that we were able to enjoy every moment.
Alex was always ready and willing to help with any detail - and even helped me to negotiate through a custom wedding dress fiasco, going above and beyond expectations of what a wedding planner should do. We are so happy with our decision to use her and would recommend to anyone in search of wedding planning services.
Alex - thank you for being such a joy to work with! Best always ❤️

nks to Alex and the look and feel of our wedding was perfect. My partner and I were able to be present and enjoy the day thanks to Alex and all her work behind the scenes. I cannot recommend her enough. She is so talented and wonderful to work with.

It was such a great experience working with Alex for our Wedding. She has amazing talent for design and really helped bring our vision to life. She was also super responsive, resourceful, organized, flexible, and friendly. We trusted that she'd help make the planning and day of coordination for our wedding smooth and she definitely delivered.
On the day of, Alex made sure help keep everyone on time, was always there whenever we needed help, and constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very organized and remembered every detail we planned for and talked about. She also make the flatlays for our photographer and did an amazing job.
We couldn't be happier that we chose to work with Alex and that she agreed to work with us! She helped make the wedding process and the day of our wedding stress free. We couldn't have done it without her. We definitely recommend working with Willow & Ivy Events and can't thank thank Alex enough!
As the owner of Gray Bridge Venue, we KNOW the value of a good planner. Willow and Ivy came through at a wedding here--the couple changed venues 2 months before their wedding (due...
to COVID limits they changed from an indoor to an outdoor venue). Willow and Ivy were able to shift design features, guest count, learn about a new-to-them venue and keep everything together. They were amazing and created a gorgeous wedding event that seamlessly came together. Please consider Willow and Ivy for full or partial planning. Their design work is impeccable, their service is fantastic, and they are fun to work with and to be around.
Oh man, where do I even begin! When I first got engaged, I knew I wanted a wedding planner because my life is very chaotic and I knew absolutely nothing about wedding planning. I s...
tarted my search online and had a couple interviews with planners around Seattle. While every planner I met was very nice, the second I met Alex I knew she was the one. She is so funny, nice, personable and most importantly, extremely professional! Throughout the entire 13 month engagement/planning time, Alex was frequently reaching out to me and ensuring we had all the essential details (some of which I would have never even thought of if I was planning this on my own) ironed out. Not only does she ensure you have all your bases covered, but she truly LISTENS to your opinions and works tirelessly to ensure you get the wedding of your dreams. Even with weird ideas (for example at one point I thought I wanted to bring in chandeliers), Alex would reach out to every vendor she knew and would scour Instagram looking for potential new vendors and create a list of every option available so I could make every dream a reality. I remember throughout the entire wedding process people would continually say “oh you must be so stressed out with wedding planning” and I can honestly say there was not one part of the planning that caused me any stress or anxiety because Alex was always 10 steps ahead of me. It also wasn’t just me who noticed how great she was, but vendors rave about her as well. My photographer (who had never even met Alex) said this in one of the emails…
“She did such a good job putting everything together and I cannot tell you how excited that gets me! Because a good timeline means I can do my best work. I just wanted you to know she is killing it!”
My wedding happened to be right in the middle of the coronavirus chaos. We were extremely lucky because our wedding was right before they essentially shut the city down. Despite such a crazy time, Alex was always my rock. We had guests canceling left and right, the restaurant for rehearsal closed permanently 2 days before and new laws surrounding events were being rolled out almost daily. But Alex was there to handle every new twist and turn with ease and I can honestly say I had the wedding I have always dreamed about. Now, as other friends get engaged, I always tell them that the best wedding money you will spend is on a wedding planner because she made the entire process fun and easy, which is how it should be! Alex was truly my saving grace and if you have any party/wedding, she is truly the best of the best!

ch that goes into the process and our first meeting with her, she made us feel at ease. She is so approachable and professional. My husband and I have mentioned several times how thankful we’ve found her. When it came to changing my mind several times on the colors, florals, and vendors, Alex was so accommodating. She was willing to revise the plans as many times as needed. Everything I envisioned for our wedding, Alex made it happen. She made it stress-free by communicating with all the vendors. We even had an unannounced guest and she told us not to worry and that she’d find a seat for them. I can’t recommend her enough.
I had the chance to work with Alex on several photoshoots and weddings this past year as a stationer and sign creator. This girl is insanely responsive via email, and as a vendor, ...
I was never once left in the dark about the overall design of each event and shoot, and when she was available for deliveries. Speaking of design, she is beyond talented when it comes to modern and elegant weddings, but let's be honest, she can probably handle any style.
Alex is everything you may look for in a planner- you will not regret it if you hire her!

anning process. During her month-of service, Alex was easy to work with, consistently responsive to our emails and texts, and left us with a sense of confidence as we finalized our wedding plans. She was friendly and gave her honest advice with questions and concerns that we had. Alex was also great when working with our bridal party and family. She gave precise directions and left everyone feeling prepared for the wedding. It was also wonderful that she handled the decorations for us the week prior to our wedding. This gave my husband and I peace of mind in the final week of planning.
On our wedding day, Alex and her team made our wedding perfect. Every little detail was accounted for, and any questions or problems I had were immediately handled by her and her team. She was professional when working with our other vendors, and allowed us to truly enjoy a stress-free wedding day. I highly recommend Alex as a wedding coordinator.
We worked with Alex for 9 months to plan our wedding on July 27, 2019. As a couple planning a wedding across the country, from the East Coast to Seattle, we interviewed quite a few...
wedding planners we felt like we could fully trust. Upon first speaking with Alex, she gave us a reliable yet approachable vibe with great rates so we decided to work with Willow and Ivy Events.
Planning a wedding, especially from afar, is not an easy task but Alex made it really seamless for us. She was super detail oriented and really focused hard on what we wanted while staying within our overall budget. She seemed to have a lot of connections with great vendors in the industry. We loved all our vendors Alex recommended! When I had difficulty finding a makeup artist and had extremely specific requirements, she did not make me feel like a bridezilla and tried her best to accommodate my needs. We would have been 100x more stressed out without Alex helping us plan. We were stress-free during most of our planning process!
She was flexible with last minute changes – from bridesmaid leaving to adding last minute speeches. We didn’t even have to worry about our table settings since Alex tied all the ribbons on the utensils for us.
The wedding day was perfect, and our parents who are extremely picky praised the wedding and said that everything was perfect, without even one minor flaw. We were able to enjoy the wedding without worrying about schedules and details because Alex and her assistant were there to lead the whole day. We felt like we were attending some amazing party and had a great day 😊 Thank you Alex and Willow and Ivy Events!!
How to start this Alex is the nicest, most genuine person I have ever met! When I first got engaged I have no idea on if we were going to have a planner the day of or not. I had lo...
oked around but hadn't put it into much thought! Then through network marketing Alex and I got in touch, from the moment I met Alex I knew she was something special and that we needed her involved in our day!
My fiancé and I were excited to do the planning part together and wanted someone there to bring together all the pieces and to make the day run smoothly and man did it ever!
Alex pays attention to all the details, she brings in pieces of each the bride and groom! We couldn't have imagined our day any better than what it was! She went above and beyond to bring all our visions to life! She kept our bridal party (they are a WILD bunch) in line and where they needed to be. We had some many people come up to us and tell us how amazing of a job she did (we didn't need to hear it we already knew :) )
I would (and have) recommend Alex to any bride who is unsure on how her day will go, because Alex is going to make it the best day of your life!
Selecting a planner when you’re already opinionated and have multiple Pinterest boards running, can be overwhelming and stressful :) Letting go of control was easy with Alex, as sh...
e demonstrates a confidence and competency that is both settling and inspiring. Out of the gate, Alex worked diligently to level set our expectations with hers, ensuring we worked together for the same goal. While this may seem insignificant, the duration of our time together proved otherwise, with the whole process being more in sync: from communication frequency and style, to timeline, budget, and contingency plans.
As I’m sure is the case for most couples, we wanted to a planner who would feel comfortable “managing” many personalities and not get trampled over during the chaos of the big day. Alex stood strong, commanding attention and respect, making sure our needs/wishes were respected and heard. With that said, Alex is willing to lend a different opinion if she thinks it will benefit the couple. Our wedding was not her first Rodeo, and it shows. She anticipates with skilled precision. Did I mention she’s cute as a button? We loved working with Alex, and know you will too! Great value for quality expertise!
Alex is not only exceptional at her job, but she is a wonderful and sweet soul. She feels like an old friend from the moment you meet her and her attention to detail is impeccable....
On all of the events we’ve worked on together in the past, she has made the event’s success her top priority through detailed communication and clever planning. Alex also has a fantastic design eye! I highly recommend her to all of my couples looking for an experienced event planner.

out the process. We truly would not have been able to have had as wonderful of a wedding without Alex and her team at Willow and Ivy Events! One of the biggest decisions in the wedding planning process, especially in Washington DC, is choosing the right planner. I can say 1000% that we did do that and our family and friends are still raving about our wedding nearly three weeks later! Thank you, Willow and Ivy Events for the time of our lives!

I loved working with Alex and communication was always easy and open with her. She is incredibly organized. It was a big help to have her guidance especially when our original venue canceled on us.
Alex also helped us style our wedding. I had an idea of what I wanted but no idea where to start. She had great suggestions as we were planning and really understood what we wanted. When I walked into the space it was exactly like we had planned and beautiful.
I can confidently say that our wedding would not have gone very smooth at all if it wasn't for Alex. She is incredibly responsive and was able to answer any question we had, and wa...
s absolutely vital to our big day's success. She worked really well with all our vendors, and all of our vendors loved working with her as well. She checked in with us all the time to see how planning was going and making sure we weren't missing any details, big or small (and lots of things that we wouldn't have even thought of!). She was willing to have the tough conversations when things got a bit sticky with our venue a couple months before the wedding and smoothed everything over. We cannot give nearly enough praise and thanks to Alex for being there for us during our planning all the way through the big day. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone without hesitation.

ents through Instagram and after doing a lot research and comparison between all the Seattle-based planners, I went with my best first impression with Alex and from then on, I knew my husband and I had made the right decision.
Firstly, Alex was extremely responsive to all our questions, concerns and ideas. She would respond to our emails/texts and phone calls within hours and came up with ways to solve any issues that came up with our venue/vendors or any other logistic items. I felt she went above and beyond all that we had hoped for in a planner. She was along for our wild ride as early as 4 weeks prior to the wedding and accommodated our schedules as we were trying to plan the wedding from across the country. She would even change around her schedule to work with ours when we came back to Seattle to attend meetings with our vendors. Another example was the day after the wedding, I was trying to figure out how to return the cake stand and I find that she's already taken care of it! On the wedding day, Alex took care of everything, and I was able to just be the bride and enjoy the day.
From being extremely organized, down-to-earth and putting our goals/vision for the big day first, both my husband and I felt that Alex had our best interest at heart the whole time. As I reflect back to the wonderful wedding day, I can't thank Alex enough for everything she did to help us have the wedding of our dreams!!
