Willow and Waylon Events

in a wedding planner. She was extremely organized and professional, never letting us settle for anything other than exactly what we wanted, and she was also extremely kind, never pushy or judgmental, and above all else always assured us that our day would be celebratory and stress free. Katie is exactly the type of person that you can trust with one of the most important days of your life. Everyone remarked that I was an exceptionally “chill” bride, and I owe my ability to be relaxed, present, and enjoy my day to Katie. If you have the opportunity to work with Willow and Waylon Events, you will not be disappointed!

very little detail and streamlined communications between all of our vendors. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a wedding coordinator as she was an invaluable part of creating our wedding day.

idated that we were on track. While the overall vision and style were still up to us, she made sure every detail was covered. She truly shined in the final stretch, especially starting about six weeks out. She kept us on schedule, coordinated with all our vendors, and aimed to have everything finalized two weeks before the big day — which made the lead-up so smooth. On the wedding day itself, we realized just how much work she had put in behind the scenes. Everything ran flawlessly, and we were completely stress-free. She thought of things we never would have, and was hands-down the most valuable member of our wedding team. Highly recommend!

st decisions we made. She was incredibly familiar with the venue, which made everything smoother and gave us so much peace of mind. From the beginning, Katie struck the perfect balance between offering expert recommendations—based on what she’s seen work well—and giving us the freedom to make choices that felt true to us. It never felt like she was pushing a “one-size-fits-all” approach; instead, she genuinely wanted our day to reflect us. As a bride, I had my fair share of nerves and stress, and Katie was amazing at calming me down and keeping everything on track. She was easy to talk to, super organized, and just felt like someone I clicked with instantly. On the day of the wedding, she handled everything behind the scenes so we could be fully present and enjoy every moment. If you're looking for someone who will treat your wedding with care, professionalism, and heart—Katie is your person. We’re so grateful for her and can’t recommend Willow and Waylon Events enough!

organized, calm (a huge plus), and brought things to our attention we would’ve otherwise missed. On the big day, she did so much that I am aware of but also I’m sure a myriad of things were resolved by her that I don’t know about (and don’t need to). The day ran smoothly, and my husband and I and our families didn’t need to think about logistics at all. Because we had her help, we were able to just focus on the importance of the day: marrying each other! If you want a smooth, easy day for your wedding, hire Katie.

al organization. Leading up to our big day, she kept us on track with regular planning sessions and thorough checklists that made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. Her vendor recommendations were spot on — she helped us secure the perfect venue and arrange incredible food that our guests are still raving about. Katie’s experience and expertise really shined as she guided us through every decision with thoughtful suggestions and a calm, confident approach. On our wedding day, Katie was nothing short of amazing. She seamlessly coordinated every vendor, handled all the behind-the-scenes details, and ensured everything went off without a single hitch. Because of her hard work, we were able to be fully present and truly enjoy every moment of our celebration. We couldn’t be more grateful for all that Katie did to make our wedding day perfect. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner who will go above and beyond to create a flawless, magical experience. Thank you so much, Katie, for everything! – Madison & Emily

ut local vendors which greatly reduced the amount of time I had to spend inquiring and booking. We had frequent, scheduled calls with Katie during which she would create a checklist for me to work on until the next call. If questions came up, she was quick to respond. I even received weekly check-in texts which I so appreciated because I had a lot going on in my life aside from wedding planning. She would also reach out to vendors on behalf of us to nail things down as the wedding date came closer. Perhaps most importantly, Katie was a godsend on our wedding day. She was present at the rehearsal the evening before, so we felt confident about the ceremony. She ensured that any questions during the wedding were to be directed to her so the groom and I were able to enjoy our day. It was important to me that my family didn't have to help set-up or take down the venue. I didn't have to worry about this at all with Katie as she perfectly executed my vision for the day. At the end of the night she packed everything up and made sure it all went home with the right people. Overall, I highly recommend that you use Willow and Waylon for your wedding. Katie's experience and expertise in the wedding industry is clear. Planning a wedding is no joke, but Katie made the experience much easier and I always felt supported. Thanks Katie!

e throughout the entire planning process. We can honestly say that deciding to work with Katie was one of the best decisions we made for the entire wedding. On our wedding day, she took charge of everything- managing our families, coordinating vendors, and ensuring all the details were handled. She was able to juggle different personalities with such ease and professionalism, which made a huge difference in keeping things calm and running smoothly. It almost felt like she was a therapist at times- helping us work through any stress or concerns, which was a huge relief when things started feeling overwhelming, both during the wedding planning and on the big day. Thanks to her, we were able to truly relax, enjoy our day, and let our families enjoy it too- without worrying about setting up, tearing down, or managing logistics. After the wedding, several of our guests even asked who she was because they were so impressed by how well she handled everything. One guest said, “She had such calm and approachable vibes,” which really captured the essence of how she made us feel. If you want someone who will handle everything with grace and professionalism (and maybe even a little therapy along the way), Katie is an absolute gem!

venue announced they were outsourcing the planning and catering of their events to an unnamed third party. This resulted in a great deal of uncertainty and angst leading up to the wedding. Katie did a fantastic job helping us navigate through the change in circumstances and was a calming and reassuring voice when we needed it most. Throughout the time we worked with Katie she listened to our wants and concerns. She was very thoughtful in her approach and came up with incredibly helpful recommendations and solutions. Katie’s process helped us be prepared for the actual ceremony. She was thorough and guided us through a well planned rehearsal that was still a very fun and enjoyable event. When it came time for the actually ceremony Katie was there to keep things on track and it all went according to plan…even the 16 month old flower girl cooperated! Our investment in Katie’s time and services was a tremendous value. She did a fantastic job for us and did it in a very calm way throughout the whole wedding. In the end everything worked out well and we all had a great time. Father of the Bride

ision, and she began organizing every little detail immediately into a master document for us. Each planning phone call picked up right where we had left off. A few days before the wedding, Katie came to pick up our decor so that we could fit our other things in one trip to the venue. She attended our rehearsal and everything was planned to a T -- Katie was even able to corral my husband's friends into line for the rehearsal. On wedding day, every single moment that we had dreamed of came true thanks to Katie. Thank you to Katie for everything; every couple deserves a planner like Katie!

During our planning meetings leading up, she really helped me keep things in order and was so helpful to bounce thoughts/ideas/questions off of. Everything flowed seamlessly at our wedding and Katie was there to make sure everything went according to plan. I really cannot recommend her enough!

She was so much fun to work with. She truly went above and beyond for us and that is something we'll never forget!

detail-oriented, empathetic, has a design eye, and is really invested in your event with a level of care and attention that you wouldn't realize she's doing this for so many other people too. I attribute my ability to be fully present the whole weekend of our wedding to the trust I was able to place in Katie. She navigated vendors, guests, anything unexpected that came up and had asked all the right questions months in advance to truly have a clear understanding of our vision. This really allowed her to execute, even remembering things that I forgot in the heat of the day that I had said were important to me. I've been in a wedding Katie worked, hired her for my own wedding, and passed her along to another friend who will be working with her next year. Beyond an online review, Katie gets shared across friend networks because her work is just that good.

I needed a day-of coordinator, but in hindsight I am SO incredibly glad that we decided to move forward with one. I had started to hear stories about couples who were so bogged down in wedding logistics and decision-making that they didn’t have time to really enjoy their day. The same could not be said for us, as with Katie’s help it was truly the best day of our lives and we were able to be immersed in every minute of it. Katie met with us throughout the planning process to check in and see where she could provide her guidance. She also helped with the timeline of the day, which was especially helpful for me as I had never been in a bridal party before and had no experience to pull from. She recommended several vendors that we ended up using as well (makeup, ceremony musician, bakery, DJ), all of which were fabulous and in our price range. She helped with decision-making, and also gave us advice on the “little things” that can cause wedding headaches that she now knows to avoid with all of her experience. This included everything from what time you should ask the bridal party to convene (because someone ALWAYS runs late) to how to cut the late night pizza. The wedding itself was a massive success. Katie was on top of absolutely everything. If anything went wrong, I couldn’t tell you what it was because she handled it with ease and didn’t get us involved unless it was absolutely necessary. She was so prepared and organized that I had several family members come up to me then (and since) to sing her praises. If you’re like I was and are unsure about a day-of coordinator, let this be your sign to do it, because truly Katie is the best in the business. With her help and oversight, our wedding day was an absolute dream come true. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

both said it was the best decision we made. Katie was always timely and reliable with communication. During our planning calls, she brought up things that I never would have thought of which helped our day run smoothly. She always had patience with my many questions. She helped us personalize our day to be representative of us as a couple, highlighting what was important to us. She helped with communication and follow up with vendors which alleviated some of the stress and “to do” items leading up to the wedding. Katie was incredibly helpful with running our rehearsal, ensuring that our family and friends knew what to do and had their questions answered as well. Our day ran so smoothly and I’m sure there was much Katie helped with behind the scenes that made that happen. She helped with set up and take down of decorations, always made sure we had a drink if we wanted one, and was the go-to person for everyone’s questions which took a lot of stress of off me and allowed us to enjoy our day. We highly recommend you adding Katie to your team and I know you’d be in great hands.

ld not have in a million years known to consider. Second, she enabled us to have FUN planning our wedding! We didn't have to worry about asking our bridal parties or families to help and then worry about them delivering on time because we had a highly capable professional making sure all milestones and deadlines were met. Considering all the things you will spend money on heading towards your special day, hiring Katie was one of the most slam dunk-no doubt about it-absolutely worth it- expenses. Her rates are extremely reasonable/affordable, especially when I think about all of the time she took in meetings, texts, emails, and the day before/day of to make our wedding perfect. Lastly, but maybe most importantly, she is just an amazing woman! Super easy to talk to, and she accomplished the herculean task of getting me (very type-A/used to running the show) to settle into less worrying about the wedding and just enjoying it while she worked. That is something me and my husband will remember and feel grateful for for the rest of our lives - we were truly able to enjoy our big day because we had Katie there to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Katie! And Please consider hiring her, I am sure you will walk away with the same gratitude that we have!

e, professional, and personable friend. She handled every detail with absolute perfection, from the tiniest decor elements to coordinating with all our vendors seamlessly. Her organizational skills are out of this world and there was nothing she couldn’t handle. What really impressed us was her ability to truly understand our vision. She didn’t just listen—she brought ideas to the table and advocated for us and that made our wedding even better than we’d imagined. On the day of the wedding, Katie was like a magician behind the scenes, managing every little hiccup, and keeping us calm and relaxed. Her warm, calm presence was exactly what we needed. Thanks to Katie we were able to enjoy every single moment without a worry, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful and well-coordinated everything was. If you’re looking for someone who’s organized, caring, and goes above and beyond, look no further. We can’t recommend Katie enough— she is simply the best.

ttable! From our very first meeting, it was clear that she was incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and passionate about what she does. She was always available to chat when we were stressed or to go over details for our wedding. Katie took the time to understand our vision and preferences, providing invaluable advice while still respecting our taste. We received countless compliments from our guests about how smoothly the day went, and Katie deserves a huge shout out for that. She also cleaned up and organized all of our decor and misc. items, so when the end of the night came, we could just keep enjoying the day without worrying about cleaning up the venue. If you’re looking for a planner who truly cares and delivers, we highly recommend Katie! Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality!

on't know what we would have done without Katie -- I fully trusted her to handle everything on the day of, and truly had zero stress about any of the logistics because I knew she was on it. Katie is amazing, highly recommend!

Sara. Sara worked with us the day of. Both of these women are simply the best! They are experienced and did not miss anything. They are so so nice and honestly felt like a part of our family for a time. We always felt much less stressed after getting off the planning calls. The rehearsal dinner and wedding day ran perfectly because of Sara. She was hustling to make sure everything was on time and the way we wanted it. Anything we asked for, she was on it! Based off my description, she perfectly executed our decor so the vibes were spot on. It was so exact to what I was imagining, I was immediately in tears when I saw the venue all decorated. Plus Sara was also the ultimate hype man, pumping us up and making us feel so good about everything. Sara was fun to have as our day of planner, but honestly also fun to have as a guest. Genuinely would be friends with these women, they are just amazing.

responded in a timely manner and had multiple ways of getting ahold of her (text, call, email, meetings). I would strongly recommend her because she made our big day run so smoothly with her upbeat energy, ability to solve problems, and again her amazing organizational skills. From the day we hired her, to our big day, she helped us stay on track with our checklist and even brought up things we did not think of for our wedding. Katie has years of experience in this industry, and you will want someone like that to help orchestrate your big day. This way you can be present and enjoy the day you worked so hard to plan! Katie is simply the BEST! :)

ard what our vision was and helped us create exactly that. We felt so at ease working with her. All the stress of planning was taken away so we were actually able to enjoy the process. On our wedding day we didn’t have to worry about a thing other than enjoying ourselves! We are so happy to have worked with Katie! We truly could not have had such a perfect day without her.

tting up to speed on where we were at, understanding what was important to us & helping ensure everything was organized and ready. Before the day of, I truly felt so trusting of her & how she would make the day perfect for us + ensure we could enjoy the day without stress. Another bonus was that she stopped by the rehearsal dinner to do a run through, introduce herself to the wedding party, and make sure everyone was aware of the plan. Truly could not recommend enough.

for our special day! She took care of all our questions, coordinated with all our vendors, and made sure we had nothing to worry about day of. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us out :)

es to enjoy a stress-free event! I took off of work the week leading up to our wedding for final preparations, but I found myself with nothing to do (and even treated myself to a massage) because Katie had done such a great job of keeping us organized and on track for success in the weeks and months prior. As busy sales professionals, my husband and I really appreciated Katie taking the reins on everything and communicating with all of our vendors. Katie led our rehearsal, and everyone clearly saw that we would be in great hands the next day at the wedding. Of course, the wedding day was flawlessly executed by Katie and I received multiple comments from family and guests about how impressed they were with the coordinator. PLEASE book her- you won’t regret it! Thank you Katie for your instrumental work in making our wedding the best day of our lives!!! - Amanda and Dylan

counted for in our planning. We loved working with her and many of guests commented on how incredible she was. I'd happily recommend Katie's services to everyone I know.

ything we needed to do. Day-of the wedding she handled anything we needed her to do with such grace and kindness! Would recommend Willow and Waylon Events to anyone we can!

nd overwhelming without the right people in your corner. Katie is your corner. She advocates for you and your partner every step of the way! She thought of things we never would have and even saved us money multiple times. She kept us grounded, reminding us what was important - us! At one point I remember asking her “Will you call me if this or that goes wrong?” and she replied with “No, I’m not. I am going to figure it out so you can be present with your family and friends.” She did everything perfectly, but this impressed me the most! She even scheduled a few times during our wedding where my husband and I had a few moments alone together. We appreciated this so much because it allowed us to slow down, be present, and catch our breath. My wedding was flawless and I owe it all to her! Thank you so much Katie! Please keep in touch 🤍

shone through every step of the way which spoke to my very type A personality. She truly made the whole experience stress-free by keeping us on a timeline, keeping track of all of our vendors and given that we both have very hectic work schedules on top of moving out of state prior to the wedding, she dealt with all of the vendors for us. Not to mention when one coordinator from one of our vendors was not meeting her standards, she took to initiative to rectify the situation by contacting the company and changing coordinators for us to ensure we had the best possible experience. She was with us every step of the way with multiple regular check-ins over the year of planning and was by my side through the wedding day as a calming presence to keep everyone on track. Above all, she is such a kind and thoughtful human being and in general, lovely to work with. I can't give Katie and her company higher praise, I would not have been able to get through planning our wedding and wedding day without her.

always available. I'm honestly not sure how Katie does it all by herself! Our family and friends raved about Katie's professionalism, impressive speed and attention to detail. We had several check-in meetings before our wedding where she helped us finalize every last detail including many things I would have never thought of, and made recommendations on vendors we were having trouble choosing. All of our final meetings with our vendors were super easy because Katie reached out to all of them ahead of time! It was also super nice to have her attend our final venue meeting with us in person. She helped our first time officiant with her script and timeline for the ceremony. She ran our entire rehearsal and put up every single one of our venue decorations by herself the morning of our wedding. We didn't worry about timing, vendor tips or any last minute questions on wedding day, knowing with full confidence that she would handle it all. Our day was executed flawlessly and completely stress free thanks to all of her hard work!

ur wedding, everything ran so smoothly thanks to Katie! Katie, we really enjoyed working with you and we thank you for everything! Hiring Katie for your wedding will be the best decision you make.

ly feel like my wife and I gained a friend. Katie has talked me “off the ledge” a number of times and we would have “therapy sessions”during our meetings. She even professionally took care of a family altercation situation at my reception! I would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a rememberable and magical day.

I would have done without her during wedding day and the weeks leading up- everything went seamlessly and I was able to relax and trust her with every detail. Multiple guests and family members commented on how helpful and friendly she was. You really cannot go wrong with hiring Katie as your wedding coordinator, we are so thankful we had her for our big day!

Katie thought of every detail along the way and was always so prompt with answering our questions and helping with every step of the process. On the day of our wedding, Katie ensured that everything went smoothly. We don’t know what we would have done without her there to help coordinate last minute details, set up, and everything else. Katie works with all of your wedding vendors to ensure that everyone is on the same timeline and that you are never feeling rushed or stressed on your wedding day. Choosing Willow + Waylon events was the best decision we could have made as Katie helped us have the wedding of our dreams!

ning on track, shared new and fun ideas when we were unsure of what we wanted, and gave amazing recommendations. She truly made our wedding day seamless by communicating with all of our vendors, checking in at each step in our timeline, and was there whenever we needed her throughout the day. She even came prepared with her own bobby pins and helped secure my veil when it was falling out during pictures! Katie is absolutely amazing and we cannot recommend her enough!

prompt when responding to emails, on-time for every meeting, and very organized. She was extremely helpful in answering wedding related questions in the months leading up to our wedding all the way to the day itself. There is a ridiculous amount of details that comes with planning a wedding, and we literally could not have handled it on our own; Katie not only helped us plan a beautiful wedding day, but she also helped us actually execute it. She truly listened to us when discussing what we wanted for our day and offered priceless advice, as well as several options for highly rated vendors based on our interests and budget (we did choose 3 vendors she suggested and loved them, and I already recommended them to others planning their wedding). There were many times where she pointed out crucial missing details that we didn't even realize we needed to pull everything off. Additionally, she helped keep us on track with our planning by sharing timelines and charts for us to fill in and use as guidelines. Katie was a huge help leading up to the wedding and she coordinated everything on the actual day; she set up our venue décor, contacted and kept track of all vendors, ensured the seating chart and menu was correct, ensured we stuck to our timeline, helped pack up all our stuff at the end of the night, and even bustled my dress. She did so much more than this but these are some big ticket items. I would re-hire her in a heartbeat!

it can be. Katie helped us keep everything organized, was an amazing liason between us and all of our vendors, and allowed us to have the most stress-free wedding day possible, which is exactly what my husband and I wanted. Katie was always easily accessible. She was prompt to return phone calls and responded quickly to emails and texts. Whenever I started stressing during our planning process, I would contact Katie to get the peace of mind and direction I needed. On the day of our wedding, she was the go to person for questions, concerns, and you name it. She made everything flow effortlessly and come together flawlessly! Our day was as perfect as it could have been, thanks to Katie’s care, coordination, and attention to all the little details. She went above and beyond from the very beginning to the very end, and it was a true pleasure to work with her! My husband and I would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator! If you need one, Katie’s the one you want.

nt unanswered and the comprehensive timeline she put together ensured the wedding day ran smoothly and was incredibly stress-free. We absolutely loved working with Katie!

The check ins with her before the wedding actually made me stress less. I could trust her completely. She maintained the utmost professionalism even when I had a rowdy bridesmaid crew who needed wrangling. She recommended some great vendors for us to use that she has worked with in the past and it made a huge difference. I could not have imagined my wedding day without her. I HIGHLY recommend her for all wedding coordinating needs. She was always easy to get a hold of, she was reliable, made great suggestions, and just overall a fun personality. She went above and beyond at the end of the night and even drove us to a bar to meet up with some guests. She is someone my husband and I will never forget in our lifetime.

of myself. The day of our wedding, Katie handled nearly everything, which allowed my husband and I to be guests at our own wedding. We could not have gotten through the day without her!

out, I knew she was the one! I can't thank Katie enough for the amazing job she did, from the rehearsal, to the decoration, and the whole execution. We did not have an easy wedding since it was a French/American one, being myself a high-stress bride, having two separate venues, one for the ceremony (Villa Terrace) and one for the reception (The Cooperage) and having a clueless French family. Katie is an AMAZING listener, she listened to everything we told her and she was able to bring our vision to life, bringing the two cultures together on our special day. She were professional, ORGANIZED, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the initial planning stages to the execution on the day of the wedding, she was there every step of the way. We received countless compliments from our guests about how seamless everything went, how fun the wedding was and we truly couldn't have done it without her. Many told us that is was the best wedding they went to! Jon and I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a TOP-NOTCH wedding coordinator!

oom meetings with Katie leading up to the wedding, and she was always available via email, text, and phone in between. She thought of everything, was so helpful in the planning process, created a detailed timeline, reached out to all our vendors, and gave me peace of mind leading up to the wedding that everything was going to go according to plan. Katie was at our rehearsal, and when things seemed like they might not be quite as organized as needed, she generously volunteered to come to the ceremony to make sure things ran smoothly, even though she was not contracted for the ceremony. On the day of the wedding, Katie was basically the magical fairy godmother I never knew I needed. She was on top of EVERYTHING from the moment we arrived to get ready until the very end of clean up at the end of the night. If anything went wrong, I was completely unaware of it. She was amazing and a huge reason why our wedding was so perfect. Her pricing was also super reasonable and well worth it. I can't recommend Willow and Waylon Events enough!

needed; she also ensured our day was perfect. We ended up having the the most amazing wedding and I didn't have to worry about anything because we knew Katie was on top of it. Katie also takes the time to talk through everything with her couples, extends her availability and is always there to support and answer questions for her couples! I would highly recommend Willow and Waylon to anyone getting married!

he perfect solution to my day-of wedding coordinating needs. And Katie exceeded expectations. I was looking for a day-of coordinator because I knew that I wanted to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about the timeline of events. I also did not want to delegate those responsibilities to another wedding guest. She asked great questions and offered helpful suggestions at our calls leading up to the wedding day. I felt confident and relaxed going into the big day because Katie had already established connections with all of our other vendors. She maintained the most detailed and organized timeline of events. On the actual wedding day, she fielded logistics questions so I didn't have to, provided helpful tips & tricks for the perfect photo moments, seamlessly adjusted the timeline when our ceremony ran long, re-pinned my hair when the dance floor got the best of it - the list goes on and on. I joked all weekend that Katie was my new best friend. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, look no further. Katie is the perfect pick!

y Katie consistently was worth more than double what she charged for her services. Our wedding would not have been the most perfect, stress-free day that it was without Katie. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. We knew from the first time we chatted with her that she could handle everything and anything needed for our wedding. In the days leading up to our wedding and for weeks after, we have heard from our family and friends how impressive Katie was. Some of our favorite things about Katie include her making sure all guests left with a favor/goodie bag (there were only 4 left at the end of the night); her reassurance to me right before walking down the aisle (I thought I was going to pass out from panic); and answering every and all little question my husband and I asked her leading up to our wedding. Her wealth of experience was game changing for us as she helped us to plan a day that was smooth and fun for all. We want to get married all over again just so we get to work with Katie again! Thank you for everything!
