really appreciated having such a beautiful outdoor area in which to have our springtime ceremony. It really helped to create the intimate and connected atmosphere that we wanted for our very small and long-anticipated wedding. It was also amazing to have the lovely barn so close by for the reception, and it took a lot of stress off of us to also have that option there as a backup ceremony area in case of inclement weather. Having the kitchenette and cozy bridal/groom suites on-site were also very convenient. All of the representatives we met with from the venue were kind and responsive, and the recommendations they gave for other vendors were extremely helpful. The on-site support staff and bartender for the event did a good job. Unfortunately, the reason this review is 3 stars is because we chose Willow Haven's DJ services as part of our venue package and we were very disappointed with how the reception was conducted; we felt rushed through everything and had to constantly come over and give the DJ instructions because he was distracted by his phone all night, even though we'd been told he would be in charge of keeping things on track and we had previously filled out paperwork and sent emails with everything written-out in detail. We didn't have many formal events planned (many of the traditional ones we opted-out of altogether out of personal preference) but even the few we did ask for didn't go smoothly and some key moments we’d been looking forward to were missed. This was surprising to us because the entire staff (including the DJ, whom we'd met a few times prior) were all so nice and helpful during the whole process leading up to and on the day of. I was struggling with whether to give 3 stars or 4 for this review because everyone there is so nice and I can tell that they really care about what they do, but speaking to several disappointed guests after the event helped me make up my mind. Even though I doubt that receptions here usually turn out this way, I can only give a review based on the experience I actually had, not the experience I'd expected to have. Overall, I do recommend this venue and don't think I would've chosen to go anywhere else for our wedding given the chance (as the ceremony is the truly important part), despite being very unhappy with the reception. Their grounds, facilities, and most of the amenities and staff are incomparable. If I was to do everything over, I would've just hired an outside DJ and put one of my guests in charge of ensuring that the reception went as planned. I didn't do this because I wanted everyone to just relax and enjoy the party, but as part of my standard advice for future brides going forward (regardless of the venue you choose), I would definitely recommend designating someone to handle that responsibility. PS. Now that I’m looking through some of the other reviews on Google, it seems like others had some issues with the DJ services in the past, but they didn’t exactly say why.

ive from the first tour, up until even after the wedding. Everyone on staff is extremely friendly and there to answer even the smallest questions. You could really tell how knowledgeable they are about hosting a perfect wedding. We filled out an online portal with a handful of forms that helped both us and the staff ensure our day ran smoothly, and that we were getting exactly what we wanted out of it. About half a year prior to the wedding day, we went in for an open house where we were able to pick out our table decor for the reception. We picked a base level idea of what we wanted, and they transformed it into a beautiful and professional setting. On the wedding day, all the set up was already done for us and we were able to show up and go straight upstairs to our personal bridal and groom suite to get ready. Since our wedding was in April when the weather is unpredictable, we were able to choose whether we wanted the ceremony indoors or outdoors, and we had up until a couple hours before to choose. At the end of the day, we were able to leave without doing any clean up aside from grabbing the couple things we brought ourselves. We love that we were able to use their staff members for our DJ and officiant, it really helped take some stress off of us and they both did an amazing job. The venue is such a beautiful rustic setting, and they are always working on upgrades to continue to improve the experience for couples. We have zero complaints and could not recommend Willow Haven enough to anyone who wants a stress free wedding day.

dard. Every single staff member was worked with was excellent and they made our day amazing. Their pricing includes so much more than every other place we looked at (tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, decor, bartenders, security, option to add a DJ (who was amazing), set up, tear down, etc.). All of my guests were so complimentary of how beautiful the space was. I cannot recommend them enough!
