They were professional, easy going, on time, and most importantly everyone looked and felt incredible. They worked with me when plans changed at the last minute, and I would highly encourage having a 'touch up' team especially if you think it might be rainy on your day. My hair fell a bit after a 2 hour photoshoot in the rain prior to the ceremony, and my artists quickly got me ready to go again before I walked down the aisle. Thanks Willow House for helping me have the best wedding day I could have imagined!

n't want to go from no-makeup to insane overdone makeup. When I first browsed their site and Instagram page, I knew that Willow House could make people look absolutely stunning without making them look like different people from who they are on a day-to-day basis. By the time I got to my trial, I wasn't that much closer to knowing what kind of look I wanted and the Willow House team found a look for me, after looking at my dress, that they thought would compliment the dress and stay true to my natural look. I am so so so grateful for them for pushing me to be a little bit more glam because I felt completely special and completely me even just from the trial. After the trial, when I came up with an additional thought to go with my look (pearls in hair!!), they were supportive and excited and extremely helpful in figuring out how I could achieve the look. In general, their communication from the time I booked them through the wedding day was great and I was happy to have a badass team I felt comfortable reaching out to with my dumb (to me!) questions. THENNNN the wedding day came and OH. MY. GOD. My entire wedding party looked and felt beautiful. Every single person who was there to help us with hair + makeup (we had a 5-person glam team total for my 12 gals) was amazing at what they did. They were able to work with so many hair styles, textures, skin tones and they were all so pleasant to spend the morning and afternoon with while we all got ready in a tight space. I can't recommend Willow House enough if you're looking to feel like it's the biggest day of your life, but you want to feel like you as you do it. THANK YOU MICHELLE + YOUR WHOLE TEAM!!

On the day, the team stayed calm as we dealt with some scheduling and parking issues (the lot at my venue was flooded a few days before) and were just so kind, calm, and laidback to have as part of the getting-ready process. As we got closer to the ceremony, my nerves and anxiety kicked in as the photographers were also behind schedule due to the parking issues, but the team remained calm and didn't add to the stress! Olivia even stayed a little late to make sure I had my veil secured and I was ready to go! My mom also LOVED her glam-up and it was so they were so sweet with her. My bridesmaids and I all looked and felt amazing, can't recommend Willow House enough!!

nce was so calming when they came to the Bridal Suite. I had Michelle for make-up for myself, my MOH, my MIL, and my mom, and Laura and Olivia do hair for 11 people on the day of our wedding. I also had two wedding trials and had Michelle stay for make-up touch-ups until the ceremony began. Michelle and her team made me feel the most beautiful I have felt in my entire life, and the best part was - I still felt like myself! When I decided to go with the Willow House team, I kept reading online that everyone felt like "their best self, but elevated." That is exactly how I felt. As someone who only wears mascara, I was worried about having my make-up done (which is why they were the first vendor I booked) - throughout my trials and the wedding day, this fear went completely away. Michelle created a look that I did not know was possible. Our wedding was on October 9th, and I am STILL getting compliments on my wedding hair/make-up!! On top of the hair and make-up, the energy, vibes, and spirit of Willow House were unmatched. The team felt like a group of old friends I had invited to the bridal suite. I felt so comfortable asking to change things or add something. Olivia and Laura were rockstars, and everyone could not stop praising them and how amazing they made everyone's hair look (despite different desired hairstyles, lengths, textures, etc.) My mom is the most important person in my life, and she continuously told me that the hair and make-up she had done made her feel like a movie star. On wedding day, they were such a fun and positive group to have while getting ready. On an already stressful day, they could not have been more calm and collected, and I really appreciated that!! Michelle was super communicative and organized through the entire process. We had a larger party, and she managed fitting everyone in the timeline with ease. Also, everyone looked and (most importantly) felt amazing!! The most crucial thing to me during my search was finding someone who would help me and my friends feel our best. Nothing is worse than getting your hair/makeup done and feeling like a completely different human - and I can honestly say that Michelle and Gina made me feel like the very BEST version of myself! I even had multiple people come up to me at the wedding ask “who did everyone’s glam?! They KILLED it!” You expect people to comment on the flowers, food, venue, etc. so I thought it was really special that multiple people took notice of how great all the girls looked! Michelle the and other Willow House team members I dealt with, are absolute sweethearts. They were super understanding that I don't usually do much for my everyday look and so didn't really know what I needed. And I appreciate that they're so inclusive and immediately confirmed all of their people were experienced serving clients of all skin tones and hair types.

On the day of the wedding, Michelle would not clean up until I was 100% satisfied and felt my absolute best, which I truly did. Laura styled my hair and it was honestly a work of art. She diligently curled my hair to mimic my natural curls, which aren't so reliable anymore. She placed every pin with such attention and made sure I was completely comfortable. The entire day of the wedding guests were coming up to me saying “YOUR HAIR!” I could not believe how my makeup and hair stayed so flawlessly throughout the entire day and night even with 4 hours of non-stop dancing. Chelsea (hair) and Nicole (makeup) also serviced the bridesmaids since we had a large bridal party and were a pleasure to work with as well! All of the bridesmaids’ makeup and hair stayed impeccably throughout the night. I was also super impressed with how Michelle and Laura worked with my 3-year-old flower girl with ease! I never spent a second after booking worrying about our glam squad, and knew that all of my friends and family would be happy with their hair and makeup! Obvious talent aside, these girls are easygoing, down to earth, professionals who will only enhance your “getting ready” experience!

After working with working with Michelle and Alexa for makeup and Laura for hair at my wedding in September, I can confirm that she and her team are just as awesome as everyone said! She even did a little makeup on my 10-yr old niece... FREE OF CHARGE! It’s so important to find someone who won’t use your wedding as an excuse to take advantage of you. Seriously, she sat and waited while I googled every product on my phone, and made it seem like no big deal. 4) most importantly for me: I felt like an elevated version of myself at my wedding. Michelle really listened when I explained what I wanted, and executed it perfectly, putting me totally at ease with fun banter while she worked. And it wasn't just me: my mom is EXTREMELY picky and opinionated, and she and my sister were completely thrilled with their makeup by Michelle as well. Okay, I'll stop. But seriously, you won't regret it.
