WILLOW HOUSE BEAUTY

y gorgeous. They were professional, fun, calm, and flexible throughout the entire process. Megan guided me on choosing the right hair extensions, which was so helpful, and on the day of the wedding she was incredibly accommodating when I asked for a slightly different look than we had tried at the trial. Haley was equally wonderful! When I shared my concerns about my acne-prone skin, she reassured me and worked her magic and I felt so confident and radiant. We loved that we looked naturally like ourselves, but the most beautiful versions of ourselves. Our bridal parties looked stunning as well. We could not be any more thrilled or appreciative of their time, effort, energy, and work. Thank you once again. Your team is so talented and amazing. We literally can't say thank you enough!!!

with was so kind, supportive, and talented. Not only did I feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt, every one of my bridesmaids looked and felt gorgeous as well! All four artists took their time with each girl and were so detailed in their care for the hair and makeup that everyone wanted. I was so so thrilled with how everything turned out and I would recommend Willow house to EVERYONE! Atena and Johnny did a perfect job making me feel beautiful and were extremely attentive. I’m so grateful for them! Don’t hesitate to book Willow house if you want to guarantee that you and your bridal party will all look and feel extremely gorgeous!

ersion of myself (without making me feel overly "glam" or like a "capital B bride"). I would book them again in a heartbeat!

we felt that we were in the most caring and professional hands. Our wedding day crew consisted of Weronika, Eduardo, Bianca, and Loretta. I cannot overstate how happy we were with the execution. Everyone looked amazing (of course) but more importantly, we felt like ourselves. The team took the time to listen to our visions and elevate each of us in ways that felt true to who we are. Maybe most importantly, Willow House brought incredible energy to the venue the day of the wedding—the environment was caring, supportive, and FUN! We're so grateful for everything they did to make the day happen. We'll never forget it.

ly. Got compliments all night about my hair & makeup and truly have never looked more beautiful!

es. Still felt like me, but enhanced! Everyone in my party got a different style and they all looked amazing & makeup/hair lasted all night!

ppier with how we looked. It was pouring buckets of rain on the big day (hopefully it is good luck, after all) but the makeup and hair all held up wonderfully. I couldn’t be happier to recommend them for all of your wedding-day beauty needs!

Johnny (hair) and Marina (make up) for my wedding day, and I couldn’t have been happier. They are truly awesome!

n booking for yourself and your bridal party. As a plus, Michelle and team are so kind and patient. They answered all my questions and were super responsive with any emails I sent. During our trials and morning of the wedding they took the time to listen to what we truly wanted. Michelle, Laura, Eric, and Emily were the team we had for wedding day, and they were great. They had such a calming peaceful energy throughout the entire morning, which is just what you want on the morning of your wedding. We all looked beautiful, and everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. I also kept Michelle and Laura for touchups until my ceremony started and it was the BEST decision I ever made. The weather was a little windy and Laura and Michelle followed us around to touch us up and made sure nothing was out of place. You will not regret booking with Willow House Beauty! && keep them for touchups!

al 'wedding make up' look. I still wanted to look like myself. The team at Willow House did my make up perfectly! They also did a wonderful job with my hair and guided me through the entire process. My hair and make up looked wonderful the entire day and I wish I could hire Willow House for every event I have after this!

day. My makeup was flawless all night and the individual eyelash application stayed on so well that I couldn’t figure out which was real and which was fake the next morning while trying to get them off! For hair, what impressed me was how well Michelle took my feedback and helped adjust hair stylists and hair styles in order to get the perfect bridal hair I was envisioning. I had my hair and makeup done by Willow House for both the night before events and wedding day and the vibe of all of the artists was calm and positive which made both days even better! They handled different skin and hair types so swiftly and were able to make our small NYC hotel room with a wedding party of 14 work. If you are looking for hair and make-up artists who provide natural glam and are willing to listen to you and work with you / adapt to deliver flawless results, look no further! Thank you for everything Michelle and the Willow House team!!

r "glam" and do not wear alot of makeup or do our hair regularly, I was very nervous about hair and makeup for the wedding. From the very start willow house set a good, calming, modern vibe and answered all my many questions promptly and with kindness. I was really nervous for my trial and Eduardo and Haley really put me at ease - they both guided me, listened to me, and did not judge or get impatient when I went back and forth in my preferences or asked a lot of questions. They helped me better understand and led me to a look that felt natural to me but also helped push me to do more than i normally would have. They made my look feel totally like myself, but elevated! They didn't pressure me in any way. I did two makeup trials, just to try out different looks and Haley was super patient and really listened to my feedback. On wedding day they were both so comforting during a stressful day and I felt so comfortable and happy with my hair and makeup looks. They are both so kind and funny. My entire bridal party of 9 and 2 moms were all happy with their hair and makeup and felt very comfortable. The team was really professional and kept us on schedule. thank you!!

on was the best I’ve ever had, and my makeup stayed flawless all night—no smudging or flaking at all. And, despite getting married in a litearl hurricane, my hair stayed perfectly in place. I have super long, elbow-length hair, and they managed to shape it into a stunning bun that stayed intact the entire evening. What impressed me the most was how well the team took feedback. On the day of, I had a darker spray tan than at my original trial, and they quickly adjusted my makeup to match. They were so flexible with hair as well, shaping my bun exactly to my liking. The vibe from the artists was calm and positive, which made the whole process even better. Plus, they handled different skin types beautifully, from 30-year-olds to 70-year-olds. If you want a team that listens, adapts, and delivers flawless results no matter the conditions, Willow House Beauty is the way to go!

night and that includes through mist and rain!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!

perfect. Natasha and Aneta helped make the morning of so calm, relaxing, and enjoyable. My hair is pin straight and barely ever holds a wave/curl when I do my own hair, but thanks to Natasha’s skill my hair held up not just through the night but well into the day after too! Aneta’s makeup was actually flawless and similarly stayed put all night. I’ve never felt more beautiful — but I looked like myself too, which I am so grateful for and I know that Willow House is super intentional about highlighting your natural features. Can’t recommend Willow House enough!

bridal party, which meant the world to me. The entire team is beyond talented. Every one looked stunning and loved their individualized looks. Michelle did my makeup, and Holly handled hair. I knew after our trial that I was in great hands. Together they created the perfect natural glamorous look that I Ioved so much. What I really appreciated was how they took the time to listen and understand my vision. They made sure I still felt like myself, but elevated.
Having Michelle and Holly stay for touch-ups was a great decision, especially for a summer wedding with an outdoor ceremony on a windy rooftop. I appreciated how Holly secured my veil, so everything stayed perfectly in place. Holly also flawlessly pulled off a hair change. She transformed a beautiful updo for the ceremony into gorgeous voluminous curls for the reception in a matter of minutes. It was incredible and a lot of fun! I’ll never forget how Willow House Beauty made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Their talent and professionalism are truly unmatched, and I can’t recommend them enough :)

Michelle and team were communicative throughout the booking process and helpful answering questions. On my wedding day, Johnny did my hair and Aneta did my makeup - I did a trial with each of them (together) 2.5 months before the wedding day. Both experiences were great - the trial went well but I had some feedback for my hairstyle. On the day of the wedding Johnny was early and super game to take the feedback, checking in with me every step of the way. We had a big group for hair and makeup, so Cait and Weronika joined. Everyone was professional and lovely company. They kept us on schedule and everyone of my friends/family felt so beautiful. Highly recommend!

so wonderful and provided the best experience for my wedding - thank you!!

Everyone at WH is kind, professional, punctual, and lovely overall. Highly recommend!

nal touch-up, Ava, Eduardo and Olivia exceeded all expectations, ensuring that my most cherished women looked and felt our absolute best. They took the time to listen to our individual preferences and concerns, tailoring each makeup look to suit our unique styles and personalities. Their attention to detail was truly special, ensuring that every aspect of our makeup, from foundation to lipstick, was customized – enhancing the natural beauty of my radiant women rather than making them look like foundation-caked aliens :) During the hustle and bustle of preparations, the team remained calm, organized, and focused, ensuring that everyone in the bridal party, from my little niece to my mother, received the VIP treatment they deserved. If you're searching for a wedding makeup team that will exceed your expectations and leave you feeling like the best version of yourself, look no further than Willow House Beauty.

er-in-law all raved about their makeup and how the entire team - Eric, Callan, and Loretta - were so talented and created such an exciting yet calm environment. I have been in many weddings where hair and makeup can add an element of stress and I cannot emphasize enough how the team only added to the happiness and beauty of the day. My hair and makeup lasted all day long - through wind, a New York Water Taxi to my reception, and hours of dancing! I barely needed to touch it up and somehow people were still commenting on how good it looked at my after party.

had leading up to the wedding. I worked with Johnny (hair), Marina (makeup), and Olivia (hair and makeup) on my wedding day and all of them were incredible. They all arrived right on time to ensure that we stayed on schedule throughout the day. All of them listened carefully to what look each one of us was hoping for and delivered exactly that and more. Everyone’s hair and makeup lasted throughout the whole day and evening. And very importantly, the makeup looked nice and natural like we had requested. They are all extremely talented at what they do. We really enjoyed spending our morning/afternoon getting ready with everyone from the team. I cannot recommend Johnny, Marina, Olivia, and the Willow House Beauty team highly enough. If you're looking for hair and makeup artists who will not only make you look stunning but also feel absolutely beautiful on your big day, look no further. Thank you, Johnny, Marina, and Olivia for making us feel like the most beautiful versions of ourselves on such a special day.

ults were even better than I could've imagined. The team took my trial feedback and incorporated it perfectly, and I truly felt so beautiful throughout the whole day. My bridal party also LOVED their results as well - everyone was glowing and looked gorgeous in person and in photos! Shoutout to Natasha and Johnny who created the best hair styles, and Olivia, Eric and Aneta for the stunning makeup. They were all not only very professional, but so kind, easygoing, and fun to be around. I HIGHLY recommend Willow House!!

se Hotel. My goal was to choose as many of my vendors as possible from my neighborhood of Greenpoint, and that’s how I found Willow House! Maria and Michelle’s planning and communication from the beginning was incredibly organized and I felt very heard and understood through the whole process. I arrived at my trial with some loose ideas and Weronika and Johnny created an absolutely perfect look for my wedding day! All of my other family members and friends who had hair or makeup done that day were also so impressed by their work. I also included the grooming ad-on for my husband and he LOVED it. They are such kind and talented professionals and I also just loved their company. I would recommend Willow House Beauty for any bride in NYC, especially if you’re a bride like me who wanted to look and feel like myself in simple and elegant hair and makeup on my wedding day. Thank you for everything!!

I finished my trial I knew I was in incredible hands. They totally nailed my makeup vision: I felt very elegant and bridal but also like myself. They also did an beautiful job with hair and makeup for my mom and bridesmaids. Could not recommend them more!

natural and like myself on my wedding day -- and it lasted ALL night. All four artists we worked with were super detail oriented and helpful with touch-ups to make sure all my girls looked amazing too! We even booked grooming for my husband to make sure he felt camera-ready for the day -- once again, it was very subtle but made a huge difference. I've ended up buying several of the products Marina used on me for my wedding makeup because I loved how I looked THAT much! Absolutely recommend for future brides!!

ndors. I probably reached out to 20 different beauty vendors, but when it came to making a final decision, the choice was obvious. Let me tell you why! Communication: I never waited more than 48 hours for a response from Willow House. Every single message from Michelle and her team was friendly, professional, and informative. It’s clear from the way they communicate that the team at Willow House is proud of what they do and really value the way they make brides feel about themselves on their wedding day. I am so grateful for the kindness I received from everyone at Willow House in the weeks and months leading up to our wedding. Compassion: From the very beginning, the team at Willow House listened attentively to my concerns and understood, intuitively, what I was looking for. Regarding my own hair and makeup, I wanted to make sure that when I looked in the mirror on my wedding day, I recognized the person looking back at me. I wanted to feel elegant and beautiful, but I still wanted to feel like myself, and I have never been an airbrushed person. But the person I was most concerned about was my mother. My mom is a good person, in every sense of the word. She dedicated her life to caring for the health and happiness of others. She never spent much time on her own appearance, and consequently I never saw her wearing makeup of any kind. I knew that she had a lot of anxiety about getting her makeup done for my wedding, although she kept those feelings to herself. So it was important to me that the hair and makeup artists I hired would be sensitive to her needs and find a way to make her feel beautiful and special without causing her any discomfort. Aneta knew exactly what to do. She gently guided my mom through the whole process, offering suggestions rather than asking questions she wouldn’t know how to answer. She joked with my mom, helping her to relax instead of making her feel insecure. My mom, of course, looked stunning. But more importantly, she was glowing from within. When I look at our wedding photos, I see my mom feeling her best, radiating happiness, and I can’t thank the Willow House team enough for making that happen. Artistry: You only need to spend five minutes on Instagram to know that Willow House only hires the best of the best. Abi, Carley, Megan, and Aneta are all incredibly gifted and creative. They absolutely delivered the perfect hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, my sister-in-law, and the moms. Everyone was thrilled with their looks, and I was so happy to see the women I love feeling confident and relaxed on my wedding day. The team at Willow House really knows how to enhance a person’s natural beauty. They excel in clean, natural looks, perfectly blending glamour with effortless grace. There’s a reason everyone on their Instagram looks like an ethereal goddess having her best skin day ever. What I’m trying to say is that the Willow House team has got you covered. No matter what. They are just the full package, and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to work with them. I cannot recommend Michelle and her team enough. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

f thinking I realized I wanted something different for my makeup, so I went back and did a second one. Felt like they really listened to me and took all the time I needed to get it right and feel good. On the day of, they were organized and calm despite all of our chaos, and were great with both a lot of guidance and very little ("I have no idea!") from the bridesmaids and moms. I had 2 moms, 9 bridesmaids and me- and they were ahead of schedule. Everyone looked gorgeous and like themselves, which felt important to me. Ava did my makeup and Eduardo did my hair. They were both fun and professional and the end product was gorgeous. Eduardo did a great job with some clip-in extensions and even told me where to buy them/ how many. He managed to get the "just a bit undone" look I wanted (by the ceremony, my hair had loosened just the right amount!) I have some acne scars on my cheeks that I am self-conscious of, and Ava was able to find the right amount of coverage without cakeyness. If you're looking for chic NYC beauty, look no further! Yes, they're on the more expensive end, but after quite a bit of analysis I actually found they were the best deal out of the more high-end beauty vendors I looked at.

l and the check in after made me feel very confident heading into the actual day. We had to make a few last minute additions, when I decided I needed to hire them for hair as well as makeup and when my husband decided he needed a bit of assistance as well. They asked the right questions of me and my wedding party to make sure we would each get the specific look we wanted. (Since I had a vintage looking dress I wanted the makeup and hair to look right with it, and they really fulfilled my vision.) The makeup and hair lasted very well throughout the night. I would definitely recommend hiring them for your event.

air and made sure everything looked perfect. He also did beautiful styling on two of my bridesmaids and my mom. The booking and payment was totally seamless too! 10/10 would recommend.

hat they do. Michelle and Maria made it easy to book, schedule, and communicate all the details. Haley and Eduardo were SO unbelievably kind, professional, and (goes without saying) skilled! They made EVERYONE feel so calm, pampered, and beautiful. My group is still talking about how impressed they were and how they've never been so happy with how they looked and felt! Our looks lasted through a very long day and evening without budging, too. Thank you SO much for making the day so wonderful.

ind and nice and just a pleasure to be around on what can be a stressful morning! Weronika knew I was nervous about shininess in photos and used this amazing primer that completely solved my T-zone worries and kept me looking amazing in photos the entire night. Abi did my hair exactly as I envisioned and did such a good job securing it that it still looked flawless after hours of photos in lots of wind and even more hours on the dancefloor. Cannot thank them and recommend them enough!

be around! Some of my friends and family also had their makeup done on the day of the wedding and everyone loved how it came out. We basically all wanted to look like an elevated version of ourselves and Willow House delivered. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and I definitely recommend them!

ory (the tikka) but he also pinned that flawlessly. Marina listened attentively to each piece of subtle feedback to change my makeup look and wow- I felt beautiful AND like myself. We both thought it was perfect. They were both so skilled, friendly, generous to share their supplies, and helped us all look and feel our best. They accommodated last minute changes and bumps in the schedule and all of the personalities in the room. My looks lasted all night as if they had just been done. I can’t believe how stunning my mom looked. I’ve never seen her like that in my life. So again.. thank you. As someone who is very uncomfortable getting glammed up, I’m blown away by how meaningful it was.

asked what we would consider (rather than telling us their opinion first), were so friendly, fun and timely. Lastly, our hair and makeup stayed perfectly ALL night long!! I couldn't have asked for a better H&MU vendor and highly, highly recommend for future brides!

ichelle and meeting Weronika I was so excited! They absolutely listened to the vision I had and then made it 1000x times better. Nallely's hair styles were gorgeous and it was so fun to have both of them as part of the group the morning of the wedding. I cannot recommend the Willow House team enough - it was an amazing experience and made my wedding day even more special!

st she connected me with, Kara, was excellent! She struck the perfect balance between glowed up and natural beauty. She also taught me how to maintain the look and reapply a neutral (yet gorgeous ) lip look! Kara was also funny, kind and easy going (perfect balance to my high strung, and tightly wound self and family). They didn't have a hair stylist availible for my weekend but I trust the skill set of Michelle's team. Go with Willow House Beauty- you won't regret it!!!

y were also flexible with all requests and understood the vision for the looks (modern, fresh, soft glam). The day of the wedding was very rainy so we ended up doing hair and makeup in our apartment along with photographs. They went above and beyond to help set up the place and gave lots of love to our dog, Ella, who was very anxious to have so many people around. Very grateful for this team!

n all of my photos and was stunned about how well my make-up lasted. I can't recommend them enough!

made everyone look stunningly beautiful. They brought so much calm and positivity with them, effectively setting the tone for the entire morning. Everyone spoke highly of Weronika’s cool energy and ease. Laura was able to be emotionally supportive in a high stress moment during the morning. Due to an unexpected half marathon, Johnny was 20-30 minutes late arriving. But not only did he make up the time, he was composed and reassuring every step of the way. He truly didn’t waver once, which made my wife feel confident that we were still going to get out the door on time…which we did! We chose to pay for touch-ups which were 100% worth it, especially because it ended up being a rainy day. Michelle reapplied lips, eyeliner and blush for all 12 of us at the venue, and Johnny re-curled every hair on my wife’s head ten minutes before our ceremony. In addition to being phenomenal artists and people, the Willow House team is also inclusive and socially conscious. When we first started planning our wedding, my wife and I were afraid of ending up with vendors that weren’t LGBTQ+ friendly. The wedding industry isn’t made for queer people, but Willow House seeks to change that. The team is queer-owned and most, if not all, of the stylists are queer themselves. They were so open and easy to work with, inclusive in their language, and never put any assumptions or biases on us or our wedding party. We’d strongly recommend choosing Willow House for your hair and makeup needs!

of my wedding day to do a trial to ensure Willowhouse was the right fit. Right away I knew they were the right choice. Not only was my final hair and makeup product exactly as I had envisioned, they were willing and able to amend and tweak my vision along the way. Both Laura and Aneta never hesitated to ensure I was pleased with every element of my hair and makeup vision. In addition to being fantastic stylists, Laura and Aneta were warm and welcoming and made getting ready the morning of so wonderful. Don’t hesitate to hire Willowhouse Beauty!

ohnny and Carley who did my bridal hair and makeup were a dream team and I can't thank them enough for making me feel my most beautiful on this special day. Communication throughout the Willow House team and myself was always incredibly quick and thorough. I cannot recommend them enough!

for but they were fun and such great supports during the day. They kept us laughing and celebrated with us the whole day. As someone who doesn't often wear make up or do their hair well, they worked with me to create a look that was so beautiful and natural. I cannot say enough about how amazing Willow House was to work with!

before even meeting with my hair stylist Chelsea because I trusted that obviously their hair team would be amazing as well - and I was correct. Michelle listened to me and took her time making sure I was comfortable and happy with my look. I was going for a more natural make up look and felt so beautiful on my wedding day and like myself on my best day. Chelsea did my hair and she was incredible. She let me try a few different variations of my style during the trial and was so patient with me. I was so happy with how my entire look turned out and Michelle and Chelsea are the perfect people to spend your wedding day with. Thank you so much Willow House team - I LOVE YOU!
