g ourselves, which Ryan and Jenn could relate to since they had just gotten married. With that, they even took the lead on creating a very robust "Day Of" schedule, and emailed it to everyone single one of our vendors! Like what?! I wasn't even expecting this, and it was beyond helpful. The day of, Ryan, Jenn, Hayden, and Kearsten showed up ahead of schedule, and were literally the easiest people ever to work with. They were calm, fun, easy going, and nice to talk to. They totally get that posing for some of those planned candid photos can be awkward, so they make you actually laugh / react organically instead, which we loved. They even whisked away my husband and I right after our ceremony to a nearby beach so we could take some cool photos - and we STILL had plenty of time for cocktail hour. Unreal! Do yourself a favor and book Ryan and Jenn for your next life event.

m my family and friends about how they have all turned out. From our first phone call, I immediately knew Ryan was going to be one of my favorite vendors to work with. He’s responsive, he’s polite but more importantly he’s REAL. As young professionals who also just finished planning their own wedding, they are empathetic and understanding. Our dynamic quickly shifted into feeling like we were chatting with and old friend rather than our wedding photographer. Planning with COVID was stressful enough and Ryan and Jenn were never not there to answer my question about upcoming new guidelines, planning strategies or even just calm my nerves. Just the reassurance that it is indeed normal to feel borderline psychotic while planning your wedding is sometimes exactly what you need to hear. We got married at Terrydiddle Farm in Rehoboth on 8.21.21. Throughout the day, Ryan and Jenn were there to guide us help us check all our mandatory pictures off the list, but also kept our day running smoothly. My husband isn’t one that enjoys being the center of attention but Ryan was there to keep him light and chatting and distracted from all the attention. All the while, they captured every moment of our day and even caught some of the most perfect candids that no one was expecting. The next day my husband even said he was so thankful that Ryan and Jenn were there and that they felt more like guests than vendors. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover our emotions towards Ryan and Jenn. We can’t wait to document more life chapters with them as I can’t imagine working with anyone else. SORRY RYAN & JENN YOU'RE STUCK WITH US ❤️

onya, I have worked at Five Bridge Inn for years and I love going over all the detail of the property and I cannot wait to see how Ryan DeVoll captured it! If he is excited, I am ten times more excited! Ryan is a social butterfly and made sure to capture the guests and all the love they had for an amazing couple!

ig day! What a year 2020 has been, and it's been especially hard to navigate for couples planning their weddings. From the very first signs of lock downs and restrictions on social gatherings, Ryan started communicating with his anxious clients in order to help us navigate postponement plans. While we had to postpone our wedding to 2021, we decided that we wanted to elope privately in 2020. When we reached out to Ryan and Jenn about this idea, they were fully on board and Jenn even got ordained to help us accomplish our plan. Talk about a team that goes the extra mile for their couples! We had the best time traversing downtown Providence with Ryan and Jenn as they helped us capture memories of a simple and fun elopement . He captured our joy and love so beautifully! We can't wait to do it all over again next year with family and friends. I know that we'll keep in touch with Ryan and Jenn for years to come and to help us capture memories of the milestones ahead!

arly family portraits. Ryan & crew are simply amazing at making you comfortable and making sure that the entire process is fun. The shine in our eyes is not from fake smiles, but from sincerely enjoyable moments during shoots. I can't recommend him enough!

he industry (esp with the circumstances on 2020). He was very good at communicating about all the concerning things going on with the pandemic via email! His photography is very top notch and the posing feels natural and he is amazing at getting all the shots you request! I love our photos so much :)

his team are very professional, friendly, communicative, and extremely flexible (with all the last minute changes we had to make for our wedding). Ryan also had our pictures out in less than 2 weeks! We can't wait to work with Ryan DeVoll Photography in the future and would recommend them to anyone!

uldn’t have been more thankful. The pictures were amazing and he was so easy to work with. Definitely knows what he’s doing, had so many great photo ideas and scoped out the property before the ceremony to narrow down photo op spots. He helped keep everything running smoothly and had a smile on the whole time! This is the photographer you want!!

n every aspect during our wedding planning process and was especially amazing/understanding when we were faced with postponing our wedding celebration due to Covid-19. We ended up eloping and we knew we needed Ryan to be there to capture our legal wedding day too - we are SO happy we did! The pictures are absolutely stunning and we received them very quickly! Our friends and family had nothing but wonderful things to say about Ryan and Hayden after our ceremony. Best and easiest wedding decision you will make by working with Ryan and his team!!!

t we liked. They were always very happy and easy to chat with. We had several meetups or calls or emails. Ryan was very accessible (and did I mention patient). Sometimes we had no idea what we would like, but he worked with what we had. He would scout areas to find where he thought we be amazing and they were. The photos are beautiful and everyone raves about how great the photos were. Don't hesitate in booking Ryan and Jenn b/c if you do you might lose out on the best photographer.

I couldn't recommend Ryan and his team more!

graphs and to capture our personalities, not cookie cutter wedding photos. On the day of the wedding, he managed to do a great job getting a wide range of shots while also seeming to be invisible. He was able to capture us and the vibe of the wedding in the photographs. We can't wait to get our wedding album based on the photos we've seen online! We would highly recommend Ryan for your wedding or special occasion.

getting to know our families, which went a long way into capturing authentic pictures on the day of. It's been a few months since our wedding, and looking back on the photography and videography instantly brings us back to the moment - the team was able to capture our memories in a time capsule, which is something we will be forever grateful for. Another point that I really appreciate is that Ryan is extremely communicative and responsive to questions and requests. He will jump on a phone call to make sure you are on the same page, which really helps for something like this where speaking in person is often the clearest route! Thank you Ryan, Jenn, and Hayden! The photos and videos are beautiful and we are so glad to have gotten to work with you!

We couldn't have asked for them to be better at our wedding. They spent their own time before looking for the perfect backgrounds for each type of photo. They kept everyone so organized during the family and closed friends photos that we actually had extra time for pictures that we didn't even plan. We loved every picture that we've seen from them. The reviews and his pictures are true - you can stop your search.

in front of the camera. Not to mention, his work is incredible! We did an engagement shoot with him and we still get compliments on how beautiful our photos came out. Our sneak peek of wedding photos shows all of the emotions of the day, and really tells our story. We are so happy with our choice in photography and video. We will be lifelong clients of Ryan's!

out to Ryan, he set up a call with us and we ended up talking for well over an hour. His passion for photography and his kindness really made us feel like he truly cared about us as a couple and not just clients, so we didn’t even bother reaching out to other photographers. My husband and I were living in Arizona at the time and planning our wedding basically through the computer, so we decided to book Ryan based off our phone call and the incredible pictures he had on his website. We honestly could not have picked anyone better! After moving back to Massachusetts, we got to meet Ryan in person, along with his fiancé Jenn. We greatly enjoyed getting to know them better and talking to them about our vision for the big day. They answered any questions we had and also quickly responded to our emails. We even ended up booking video with Hayden as well once it was available! On our wedding day, Ryan, Jenn, and Hayden arrived on time and got right to work taking some great shots of us getting ready. During our first look and bridal party shots, the team made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. They even did more than we could have asked by helping out with spreading the flower petals on the aisle and zipping up my dress when my mom couldn’t see the clasp! It’s been 3 weeks now since our wedding and we continue to get compliments from our family and friends on how great Ryan and the team was. Everyone had so much fun with Ryan, Jenn, and Hayden, whether it was breaking out some moves on the dance floor or taking fun group family shots! During our honeymoon, we were able to see some of our wedding pictures on the blog post and we almost started crying in the hotel lobby! We are so thrilled with how beautiful the pictures are and can’t wait to see the rest of them and our video! Thank you Ryan, Jenn, and Hayden for being apart of our big day, making it stress free, and giving us amazing pictures that will last a lifetime!

n our strengths (my partner’s natural photogenic-ness) and ensured that our pictures weren’t uncomfortable or stiff. They gave us opportunities to laugh and laughed with us and our friends and family throughout our wedding day. I don’t know how they managed it but even our 3 nephews under 5 stayed still to have their photos taken. And, my 88 year old nana said that they were both lovely (which is a huge compliment coming from her)! We don’t even know where to begin picking the ones to print and put up around the house. Make an inquiry and from the first phone call you’ll understand why we rave about Ryan and Jenn.

! We quickly became friends and are so grateful to his team for giving us permission to set aside our cameras and enjoy the entire wedding celebration as parents. The images Ryan, Jen & Hayden created are truly beautiful! They were able to capture & document every detail & every perfect moment, even the tears of joy! We cannot express how perfectly and professionally they created each photograph and video - they are true storytellers! Thank you Ryan, Jen and Hayden - we are so thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with you!

in a lot of thought and care into what kind of photos we wanted. The wedding planning process is obviously stressful at times, but I never was once stressed about our reception photography because of Ryan's organization well ahead of the date. He took beautiful staged photos and candid photos during the reception that we are absolutely in love with! My husband and I are not the biggest fan of being in photos but our session with Ryan was actually fun and we had such a great time. If you are looking for a photographer who is professional, passionate, and super fun to work with, look no further!!

an incredible photographer, but beyond this, he is extremely easy to communicate with. Ryan was critical in helping us with our wedding day timeline and ensured that the day when smoothly and to plan. I don't think there is a shot that we had on our "must-have" list that Ryan didn't get. In addition, Ryan and his team went above and beyond their duty as photographers by helping me with my veil before the ceremony and quickly fixing my wedding dress bustle when it ripped while on the dance floor. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than Ryan!

d especially love his style of shooting/editing. We 100% recommend Ryan! https://ryandevoll.pixieset.com/christinalovesalex/blogpost/

knowledgeable of the area and found the best spots to capture our special moments as an engaged couple! He made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience! We cannot wait to see how incredible our pictures will be. We even ended the evening going out to dinner with them. We highly recommend booking with Ryan!! He is truly the best!

ng experience. He took the time to get to know us as a couple, met up with us a couple of times throughout the planning process and was even available to answer random wedding questions, (will having two different colored suits look bad in pictures?). Ryan captured the BEST pictures at our wedding! We decided to add on a videographer late in the game, and are so happy that we did. Your wedding day is such a blur and there is so much you miss out on (as a bride particularly) Hayden was able to capture all of that on film, and I am so thankful that we added him to our day. Ryan, Hayden and Jenn work together as such a cohesive unit. They capture the best moments for you to have forever and they even make time to tear up the dance floor with you. If you are looking for more then a person to take photos I highly recommend this team!

ing back to us right away whenever we had a question. We had a lot of fun during our engagement and wedding photos and he was open to our ideas like flying him out in a Cessna to block island and getting in the ocean to take pics of us. Our wedding photos came out beautiful. We are so happy we chose Ryan Devoll photography. My only regret is that I didn’t book him the additional hour to have him take photos to the end of the wedding night.

he was personable, high-touch, FUN, communicative, highly organized, proactive, kind, and everything else you could possibly want in a wedding photographer. Ryan was my first choice when evaluating photographers and I was most drawn to his work because of his authentic and lively portfolio. Working with a photographer is even more of an intimate process than you would think because they are there throughout the planning process and then part of the intricacies of the big day. In addition to our wedding coordinator, we leaned on Ryan quite a lot for his expertise. Knowing that Ryan knows is sh**, we had full confidence in letting the day unfold and following his direction along the way. Our families, wedding party, and guests loved his energy (they can't stop talking about him) and he effortlessly fit right in - it honestly felt like he was a long-time friend by wedding day. The end result was beautifully handcrafted pictures that captured the true essence of our day. His work also captured the little things, like the look on my father's face when he first saw me, my husband making me laugh during our first-look, the humor and emotions of our ceremony, the happy tears that were shed, and friends and family getting DOWN at our wedding, including the 93-year-old grandmother of my husband who had the time of her life that day. (Don't believe it? Check out our sneak peek on his blog: ryandevoll.com/blog/emilyloveswarren) I do want to note that my husband and I decided against a videographer, and Ryan's photography made up for that (and then some). Don't hesitate on working with Ryan. It's one of the best investments we made with our wedding. These are precious memories that I'll hold onto tightly for the rest of my life.

he very best. Ryan's style is not your typical every-wedding-ever. His talent is on finding the perfect moment, the true smile, that second of magic, the perfect memory. His photos are not just of you and friends posed, his photos are alive and they capture just how truly happy and perfect your day is. The entire experience with him is absolutely incredible. He puts significant effort into getting to know you. It can take calls, and facetime, brunches, and tapas but by the time your wedding rolls in, your not posing for a photographer. Instead, there's an artist with a camera at your wedding and you are laughing and living true moments he will capture. He shared our sneak peak last night I could not be happier. All expectations exceeded, and so recommended!

ur big day. He makes sure to know family dynamics and the wishes of the couple. He's also a ton of fun! The pictures came out beautifully, a nice mix of formal and then candid shots as well. Would definitely recommend to RI brides!

the wedding but of our love story, that way he knew the perfect way to capture our day. Planning the wedding from NY, Ryan and Jenn were so accommodating when we were in RI for a bunch of other things they worked around our schedule for a quick meet up so we could actually meet in person. Not only did Ryan want to know mine and Brian's vision but he deeply cared about what my parents envisioned also, which was amazing. The day of went so smoothly and it was so easy to pose and take pictures in front of Ryan and his team. He made the process seamless and let us get onto the party in no time. Our bridal party felt so comfortable around him too. The pictures came out unbelievable we are so thrilled! Our albums are beautiful too!

he was beaming and so was her groom!!! That special “wedding glow” was captured by the creative, talented and artistic photo journalist team Ryan, Jenn and Hayden!! We fell in LOVE with our team and their FUN positive energy as soon as we met them!! It felt like they were part of our family at the wedding!! In fact we want to adopt them. Their true joy and excitement of being a part of your celebration shines through in their work. The unique way they capture the energy of the wedding day, start to finish, is a GIFT!!! Their creative photography tells a story. It doesn’t matter how many times I look at the hundreds of beautiful pictures or watch the video, it feels like I am back at the wedding. I get goosebumps every time!!!

nswering questions and emails that we had. Ryan listened and stayed true to our vision that we had for our wedding and captured it beautifully and flawlessly. Ryan really loves what he does as evident in his amazing work. We would recommend him to every couple getting married!

aphy and wants to make sure he gives you what you want. He puts a lot of thought into each couple to make sure he knows you, which is awesome. I felt so comfortable with Ryan, Jenn, and Hayden, the second shooter, that I could not have asked for anything better. And his photos are amazing. I absolutely love all of my photos and can't stop looking at them! He truly knows how to capture those little moments throughout the day. I can't wait to see what the future holds so that Ryan can photograph more of our life.

el as though we were old friends. We met Ryan and his wonderful fiance Jenn for dinner a few times before the wedding day which ended up being great because we were so at ease with Ryan come our special day. We did a first look on our wedding day and Ryan did a great job scoping out the venue to see what was the best option based on the lighting and vines. We loved Ryan's little suggestions to get genuine reactions out of us which made the candids extra special. Our entire family loved working with Ryan the day of the wedding. He made my 2 year old niece so comfortable that she's actually smiling and looking at the camera in the pictures - not an easy task! He made sure to get every important photo taken and then some. We got the pictures back in record time and every single person we've shown the pictures to have commented on how great the photographer was. We're so happy to have such incredible wedding pictures that we can enjoy for years to come - all thanks to Ryan!!

asure to spend your wedding day with and his photos are just amazing and so personal. He made me feel relaxed all day and we had the best time all day and night. I also strongly recommend the lovebird session prior to your wedding - you will not regret it! It makes the wedding day so much more natural and comfortable! THANK YOU RYAN! Can't wait to work with him again in the future.

me put together the perfect plan. After he captured some candid proposal photographs we had a full-blown engagement session and took tons photos around the vineyard. Ryan was patient, easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable the whole time. Not to mention all of the photos came out great! He even gave us a couple of sneak-peek photos the day of. I would definitely recommend Ryan.

fortable instantly, in fact when we left the meeting I sat in my car for all of five minutes and called him back to tell him “that I loved him and wanted to book him for my wedding.” It was the best decision we made. Ryan came to the hotel to capture pictures of me, the bridesmaids, flower girls and my mother getting ready and made all of us feel comfortable taking pictures and making us laugh, then he made it back to my house to take pictures of my husband and the groomsman and still made it to the venue early enough to give us an incredible first look. This meant a lot to me because I didn’t get to have my outdoor wedding due to rain but thanks to Ryan we got some pretty amazing outdoor pictures. Ryan even went above and beyond to make me feel better when I was a complete mess when the news was broken to me that the storm was moving in fast. Ryan not only told our story but he was able to capture some pretty amazing photos of my friends and family with out them knowing, which is why they came out so great. He was able to show us how much fun they were having and it is so incredible to experience that through my photos. What was so amazing about this is that Ryan was able to do all of this by himself as he was the only photographer at the wedding and his assistant couldn’t make it due to a cold. He was awesome to work with and I would highly recommend him. Thank you so much for capturing our big day for us!

o us, my husband and I were in love with him. He was there through the entire planning process, texting, emailing and talking me off a ledge when I realized there wouldn’t be enough sunlight after the ceremony. He made sure that us and our entire wedding party thought of him as a friend and not a stranger. Every time I look at our photos I’m reminded of how glad I am that we chose Ryan.

we weren’t. We wanted a photographer that could capture us having fun and put our love into pictures...and when we met Ryan we knew he could do just that. He was the first vendor we chose and we knew right away we made the right choice! Over the year and a half of planning Ryan guided us in the right direction as to the style of pictures we wanted, he took the time to get to know us as a couple and was extremely detail oriented. He made sure each piece of our day was planned to the T! On the day of the wedding the weather wasn’t cooperating with us. He made sure to stay positive, showed up with energy and a smile, had a plan B and hoped for the best. The weather cleared up right in time for pictures and with the biggest smile on his face he helped make each moment of our day more special than we could’ve ever imagined. Our entire (large) wedding party had nothing but amazing things to say about Ryan & his team. We were able to pop some champagne and just let loose. The pictures were such a memorable part of our wedding day. He made sure to make it enjoyable and not turn it into a job. We HIGHLY recommend Ryan for your photography needs. We just received our preview and we are floored at how stunning the pictures came out. We can’t wait to see the rest & pick our album. So..thank you Ryan for everything you’re the best!!

since Ryan came so highly recommended to us from friends who have worked with him before in a professional capacity. Because our wedding was small, he was really the only vendor we worked with. After my husband's first phone call with him, it wasn't really a decision to book with him, it was a no-brainer. Not one of our conversations leading up to the wedding lasted less than an hour and a half, and it never felt like business--it was never forced. Every time we talked to Ryan, we laughed our butts off and had a great time getting to know him. From the very start, Ryan was insistent that we really take the time to get to know each other. It didn't occur to us how important this was before meeting Ryan, but now we are certain that forming a relationship with Ryan and Jenn is part of the reason our photos turned out so beautifully. His service was so customized for our wedding. He knew what our relationship as a couple was like. He knew who was most important to us at the wedding, who to capture in photos. He knew about all the idiosyncrasies of our families, and navigated every situation seamlessly. He knew that we wanted to avoid a lot of the cheesy, posed photos you see from a lot of wedding photographers. He knew that we wanted our wedding to really feel like us, and made sure our photos reflected that. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Ryan was so communicative, responsive, and available by text or email any time. He went above and beyond, checking in with us during times he knew we would be overwhelmed, telling us how genuinely excited he was to come to our party. And this was the feeling we had throughout the whole process--we kept joking that Ryan was our favorite guest! On the day of, Ryan was prompt, keenly aware of every detail, on top of the minute-by-minute schedule, and in the end, he really felt like our day-of coordinator (not that it was his job to be!). All of our guests commented that Ryan was "the best." And we knew exactly what they meant. We were really struck by how unobtrusive his coverage seemed. He at once faded into the background of the party, and yet his photos were incredible, and captured so many nuanced moments. And he somehow also managed to become best friends with so many of our guests! The few photos we've already seen are just spectacular, and we can't wait to see the rest. The documentary-style, candid nature of his photos is exactly what we were looking for. And we also managed to get photos of my husband and I alone together in the woods, in our wedding garb, that are just jaw-dropping, and will hang on our wall forever. And for that reason, we will always, always be so grateful to him and Jenn. In the end, we can't recommend Ryan with more gusto. He was absolutely the best decision we made in our last-minute wedding planning. I know if another special occasion comes our way, Ryan will be the first person who comes to mind. If you're reading this and you are ambivalent, stop fooling yourself. Call Ryan and make the decision you NEED to make in order for your wedding or event to be absolutely magical, and preserved beautifully forever.

s pictures were also absolutely stunning.! Ryan was great because he really wanted to get to know us before our big day. We met up for dinner with him a few times just to hang out, discuss things, and I think that our relationship with him really helped take the stress out of the day. I personally am so awkward when someone tries to take my picture, so being so comfortable with him the day of really helped me relax. The end result was great! Our pictures came out awesome, and he had them for us so fast! He even sent us a few teasers the morning after the wedding. We got married in mid June, and already had the final gallery by the beginning of August, which is a turnaround time that I really didn't expect. Overall, I would definitely recommend Ryan and his team, they took fantastic photos and they were a such a good time the day of, our whole wedding party loved them as well. Definitely 5 stars material!

tes with the utmost professionalism, and keeps in touch with you on a strict schedule so you are not forgotten. If you're looking for classic formal photography, Ryan is not your guy. If you have any ideas for creative styling, let him know! If anything, I wish I had shared more creative ideas for poses during our wedding day. Ryan will hear you out and run with it. We loved working with him!

mories and moments of the day. We knew that we had to pick right. And boy, did we pick RIGHT! We could not have chosen a better photographer than Ryan. From the first consultation to the last hug goodbye he had us smiling and knowing we were in good hands. It was important to my husband and me to find someone we connected with and felt comfortable with since we would be spending many, many hours together. What first drew us to Ryan was his "fly on the wall" style and gorgeous photos. What booked us with Ryan was his kindness, genuine desire to get to know us, and the confidence/radiance he exudes. Ryan felt like a friend from the moment we met, and now is one that we cannot wait to see again! If you are looking for traditional, stuffy, same photos and poses your mom took, this is not his style. If you want someone who will bring out the best of you and your spouse and create the most stunning candid and genuine moments of your most important day, this IS his style. Ryan had our wedding party and wedding guests laughing, smiling, and feeling completely comfortable. He was assertive when needed to help make the day run smoothly. We just loved, loved, loved Ryan and his whole team. You will too! Book him!

aving another friend there- and that is exactly what Ryan was! We are not from Rhode Island and Ryan went out of his way to help us plan our wedding ceremony and even our post-ceremony celebration. We can't thank him enough for helping make the day that much better and giving us amazing pictures that we will treasure!!

his work. Ryan was amazing from the beginning of the process until the end. His pictures were amazing and he captured everybody in every moment of our wedding day without of even knowing he was there. When he tells you he is like a fly on the wall, he is in kidding. His communication with us leading up to the wedding day and after was right on point. We were never left questioning. Ryan was already personable professional fun and easy going. He definitely did a great job getting to know is in allowing us to get to know him which made things much more comfortable and less stressful. If you think about it you are spending 6 to 8 hours with your photographer so its better to build a relationship and feel comfortable. We highly recommend Ryan and his team.
