Willow Ridge Special Event Center is a wedding venue located in Townsend, TN. Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, this charming venue offers a blend of natural beauty and timeless elegance.
Willow Ridge provides a captivating backdrop for your special day, creating an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. You can say your vows here amidst the majestic mountain vistas and lush greenery of the Smoky Mountains. There is a choice of 3 outdoor ceremony locations, as well as inside the manor. The Ridge is a scenic field location with breathtaking mountain views, accommodating up to 200 guests. The Willow Pond is a picturesque setting beside a tranquil pond, with 2 weeping willow trees as your backdrop, and is perfect for ceremonies or photos. There are also many other impressive amenities to make your day run seamlessly, including two luxurious get-ready suites for the bride’s wedding party. Both are fitted with vanity floor-length mirrors and great lighting. The groom has his separate and private space for getting ready and enjoying the day with his groomsmen. The Lodge is a spacious gathering area for socializing and relaxation. The Manor is your perfect location for dining and dancing and is climate-controlled, with over 1,000 dimmable ceiling lights and chandeliers. There is a convenient caterer access kitchen for staging and cooling.
At Willow Ridge Special Event Center, their flexible packages allow you to customize your wedding to suit your needs and budget. From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, they offer a variety of options to create your dream wedding. There is paved parking for up to 40 cars with 20 elderly-friendly spots, and there is parking for an additional 80 cars on a grass parking lot. A golf cart is included for handicap use. Tables and chairs for up to 200 guests, as well as gift, cake, and sign-in tables, are also provided, and your choice of 4 arbors for your ceremony.

zing! The boys enjoyed hanging out in their separate room as well! Our favorite part by far had to be the view at our ceremony and the amazing newly renovated reception space. It was so beautifully decorated and extremely clean! You will not be disappointed in having your wedding here!

as our coordinator to make sure everything was running smoothly leading upto the wedding and the day of. She ran the day amazingly and even got us our food and slices of cake so we could enjoy the moment. The venue is stunning and everything was green in April, the bridal suite and grooms suite made it very easy the day of to enjoy and not stress about getting ready somewhere else. I truly can't recommend this venue enough,we can't wait to go back and visit!

t you want to make your own. If you're an out of town bride, just be aware that most of your vendors will come from Knoxville so you'll have to pay their travel fee (not a dig on the venue at all - I just wish I had someone mention that to me). It is so great to be able to decide what I wanted or DIDN'T want for our wedding and have the freedom to pick.
The getting ready suites are perfect for both the bride and groom. You can choose from two ceremony locations: near the weeping willow (there are stairs going down so be prepared as a bride but it is amazing for photos) with the beautiful pond or the view overlooking the mountain. The reception venue holds 200 but we only had 50 but it still didn't look too big. Also you have a backup ceremony location in case it rains.
There is also several places for great photo locations. Shoutout to Brittany Conner Photography for our amazing pictures. Our special day on 9.10.22 couldn't have gone better! Renee is amazing to work with and I can't say enough good things. Everyone that came to our wedding loved the venue and thought it was a beautiful day.

ompany with our wedding party. The view of the Smokies is stunning and the pond, where we got married, is so tranquil and picturesque. The reception hall was perfect as well! We are so grateful we could host our friends and families at such a beautiful place! Our photographer is Hanna Rain and she did a stellar job!

I was initially excited for my daughter to have her wedding at Willow Ridge, which had a great reputation before it changed ownership. Our wedding coordinator (the previous owner) was excellent and went above and beyond to make our day special....
Unfortunately, the new management overshadowed the positives.
The venue manager's shockingly unprofessional conduct marred what should have been a joyous occasion, causing unnecessary stress. Our caterers were treated unfairly, and the new owner failed to honor our contract. This left us in a panic, unsure if dinner would be ready in time for our guests after the ceremony.
What was once a lovely place to get married is no longer. The new ownership doesn't care about creating a memorable, stress-free experience for brides and their families. If you're considering this venue, I urge you to look elsewhere. The management made our day extremely stressful.
