About this vendor
With a little more of a documentary style, I prefer to keep you guys feeling natural and not too forced or posed, but also keeping it light and making the awkwardness of being in front of the camera a fun time. Whether documenting a portrait session that will give you the still frames to remember this season of your life or your wedding day and all of the big and small moments in between, it is so important to me that things are free flowing and easy.
I offer a "Helper's Discount" for first responders (fire fighters, police officers, dispatchers, EMS), military, nurses, and teachers.

Sara is the absolute best! She is everything we wanted in our wedding photographer. Obviously her pictures are amazing and she is extremely talented. But she made the whole process...
- from the moment we reached out - so easy. She has an organized website/platform that lays out all of your options so clearly. She is extremely accessible for any questions. When we finally met her for our engagement shoot she made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. Wedding day was no different - from the moment she arrived she took charge and made sure that we had everything we wanted and she captured our day and the moments that were important to us. At the wedding she blended in like another guest and the pictures show that. She delivered our sneak peak to us less than 48 hours after our wedding and our wedding gallery came earlier than the promised timeline. Could not say enough great things about Sara or her work!
First off, the pictures from Sara are incredible and exactly what we wanted. They're incredible quality, and capturing all of the moments we wanted, candid and posed. From our firs...
t conversations with Sara, she immediately made us feel comfortable. Throughout the planning process, she was able to answer any question we had and make us feel better, even non-photography related issues or questions we asked her she was able to give her opinion and make us feel confident. She is extremely responsive, incredibly kind and easy to work with, and like I already said, the pictures were incredible!
My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Sara!! We chose Sara with Willow Roots Photography as our wedding photographer and could not have been more pleased. To start -...
she was so easy to work with, eased any stress we may have had in trying to fit everything in, and was so helpful in making a realistic timeline for our whole wedding day. She is kind, energetic, passionate, and extremely willing to go the extra mile to ensure her clients are beyond pleased with her work. Our wedding gallery is everything we could have dreamed of - we are obsessed with every single photo as Sara captured our entire day SO perfectly from start to finish. We are so happy with all aspects of working with Sara and absolutely recommend her for all your photography needs!!
Sara continues to be amazing! She has documented our annual summer family photos for the past 6 years. From start to finish, Sara demonstrates a level of professionalism (yet makes...
everyone feel comfortable), creativity, and skill that truly reflects our family dynamic. I absolutely recommend using Willow Roots Photography and look forward to the opportunity to work with her again next summer!

ecessary. Her attention to detail was phenomenal as she captured such subtle elements of our reception. The turn-around time was surprisingly fast and we were so happy with every photo. Would highly recommend!
Sara is amazing to work with! Leading up to the big day she answered all my questions and made time to meet with us. Her personality is calm, easy- going, caring, and she fit right...
in with my best friends & bridal party making the day fee smooth & natural. She made taking photos fun & easy (even the guys said so!) She really makes sure to capture the happiness of the day without pictures feeling forced. Most importantly we are obsessed with how our photos turned out! She captured beautiful portraits, the little details, and all the candid laughs & memories. We will look back on these photos for the rest of our lives as they perfectly show the love felt on our wedding day. Thank you Sara for spending the most special day of our lives with us & we will definitely use you again in the future to capture more life moments.
Our experience with Sara was 10/10. We have been working with her since our engagement in 2018. She took our engagement photos in 2019, our mini-ceremony in 2020, and our one-year ...
celebration with our family and friends this year. Each experience with her has been delightful, she is kind and provides a comfortable presence when taking our photos. The photographs she takes are breathtaking and she gets the job done quickly. I know we will continue to work with Sara in the years to come. She is the best!
