I booked Robert this past summer for my wedding on 9/19/22. Throughout the whole process he was amazing and so helpful with any questions I had about the ceremony and provided us with info for other vendors as well. I recommend booking him early as he does many weddings and will be such a help to you during the time period before the wedding. He was always easy to get into contact with and we kept in tough frequently. He will send you a questionnaire for y’all to fill out that will allow him to get to know you as couple and really understand your dynamic together. You don’t know what your partners answers are until the wedding day. Robert then uses these for the ceremony as anecdotes. His description and execution of our answers made the guests laugh and cry (which is what you want!) This was such a great touch and it’s so unique. Guests kept coming up to us the rest of the night saying how much they enjoyed the ceremony. I can’t recommend Robert enough he was amazing!

Robert gave us a more beautiful ceremony than we could have ever imagined - he made us smile, he made us cry, he made us laugh. He captured our relationship perfectly, and he really tailored the ceremony to who we are as a couple. I appreciate him taking the time to get to know us beforehand so that he could do so. Throughout the rest of the night, everyone kept telling us how wonderful he was. We could not have done better in picking an officiant :)

I could never say enough good things about Robert! He was helpful to use throughout the entire planning process. When he says he will be there for you 24/7, he means it. When our photographer cancelled two days before our wedding, Robert reached into his wedding magic bag and got us the most amazing photographer! As you can imagine, when I called I was pretty frantic. He calmed me down and reminded me what a beautiful day our wedding was going to be. His ceremony is the most personalized I, or any of my guests, have ever heard. We talked about it all weekend. We wanted something less serious, and Robert captured us perfectly. Everyone is laughing in almost all of our photos from the ceremony which just makes me smile and is exactly what we wanted! Be sure to book Robert early because he will be your support all the way through. Also take the time for the couple’s survey which he integrates into the ceremony and do not share your answers! It will make your ceremony so special and heartfelt — something everyone will remember.

Robert was amazing to work with! He was easy to communicate with, fun to get to know, and really made our wedding ceremony one to remember. We received many comments from family members on how great our officiant was. He creates a personal ceremony by asking questions and really getting to know you before the big day. I highly recommend him. We live out of state and Robert made sure I knew what needed before we arrived in Houston. He even agreed to a last minute rehearsal when my nerves got the best of me! I truly believe we couldn’t have found someone better for our day, I am so grateful!

When my fiancé and I were getting married we wanted everything to be perfect. We interviewed about five officiants but Robert Ashley quickly separated himself from the pack. During our wedding consultation he walked us through each aspect of the ceremony and asked a lot of questions. However, once we were done and I received the summary he emailed me I was holding my wedding ceremony in my hand. It was such a relief to feel everything was organized. He also provided his own sound and mics. My sister shared a poem that she had written and recognized our grandparents who had passed away. He had a mic on a stand for her to speak through when she shared. He also had his own mic that was almost invisible. I had seen wedding pictures where the officiants were standing behind a stand or holding a mic and it didn’t look good in the pictures. His ceremony seemed to speak to every generation and everyone had something they could relate to. The questionnaire we filled out turned out to be brilliant. I was a little skeptical because I’d never seen anything like that at a wedding before. He shared responses that our parents had never even heard. If I had to do it over I wouldn’t change a thing.

Robert did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony. He was personable, funny and tied God into it as the main focal point. I would recommend him to anyone getting married. He has his own mic and wireless speaker that he brought for our pasture wedding!

We contacted Robert Ashley several months before our wedding and did a wedding consultation with him that same week. He walked us through every aspect of the wedding beginning to end and then sent me a summary of everything we discussed. I felt a lot better having most of the details covered. On our big day we had a DJ that was coming to provide music for the ceremony and for the dance afterwards. There was a miscommunication and he was only able to set up in the reception area which meant no music for our wedding. Robert looked at me and said “no problem”. He went to his car and came back with a sound system which took only seconds to set up with wireless mic and all. He played the wedding music from his phone and performed the ceremony. He had provided sound for a wedding he had performed the day before and still had his equipment in the car. The ceremony was everything you could ask for, traditional elements but with a modern feel. He was funny, clever and had people laughing and crying. I told my husband that had we gone with any other officiant our wedding would have been a train wreck. Thank you Robert you’re the best!

I’ve made a few mistakes in my life but one mistake I didn’t make was choosing the right wedding officiant. My fiancé and I did several premarital counseling session and Robert Ashley walked us through the whole process. It really helped to set our minds at ease. When our wedding day arrived Robert relaxed us with his casual humor and helped us take the edge off of our nervousness. His ceremony was exactly what we had hoped for and was truly a celebration. Robert Ashley performed our wedding ceremony in 2015 after being recommended by a friend. We had talked to a few other officiants but they seemed to struggle with some very simple questions we had. Robert gave us a packet of information that made everything very easy. He is an eloquent speaker and had us laughing one minute and crying the next. He also coordinated our wedding rehearsal which was a huge help. Weddings can be a planning nightmare so it’s was great having Robert’s leadership. I have recommended him many times since.

Robert Ashley is one of my favorite human beings! My fiance and I immediately thought of Robert when it came time to choose an officiant. Our adventure started with a questionnaire about the wife and groom and our life together. It was a fun and romantic activity that was honestly very centering after months of planning little wedding details. Robert stayed engaged and available throughout the entire process. On our rehearsal day, Robert was eager and excited to be apart of the logistics and did a great job preparing everyone for a wonderful ceremony. To be honest, I had no idea what I was doing but Robert was so patient and flexible. The day-of was magical. I had NO idea Robert was going to spin gold out of our questionnaire. His ability to evoke laughter, tears and camaraderie at my wedding was a true blessing. My friends and family were in awe of Robert and his ability to connect everyone in the room during a ceremony. We even found out that we were not supposed to be legally married until the NEXT day so Robert stuck around and married us a second time the day after our wedding. What a gem! Jessica S.
