hile I walked down the aisle and it was honestly perfect. 🥹 It made the moment feel so romantic and magical, and hearing it played live was exactly what I had hoped for.
They sounded beautiful throughout the ceremony and added such a special touch to the day. I’m SO happy we booked them and would absolutely recommend them!

ect and really added to the ambiance of the ceremony. Their rendition of "Here Comes the Sun" as our flower girl was walking down the aisle was so beautiful, as was all of the music (violin, harp and cello).
Wilmington Strings was so professional and pleasant and the music so lovely. They truly helped to make our daughter's wedding magical! Kathleen was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful all along.
The moment we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to really elevate the romance by having a string trio for our ceremony. Wilmington String Ensemble came highly recomm...
ended not only online, but from other vendors, so we knew they'd be the "real deal". They have a huge selection of songs, and we were particularly excited about all of the pop songs, which was exactly what we wanted. Kathleen was quick to respond to emails and the process of hiring them and talking through details was so easy. I had a very clear vision of what song I wanted to walk down the aisle to and what point in the song I wanted to hit by the time I reached the back row of seated guests, and they nailed it. Thank you for making our ceremony absolutely PERFECT!

added so much depth and emotion to our ceremony, and one of my favorite moments of the day was walking down the aisle to the sound of their beautiful music playing. So many guests told us how moving the ceremony was, and I have no doubt that the team from the Wilmington String Ensemble are largely to thank.
Throughout the whole wedding planning process Kathleen was so wonderful to work with, and helped us pick out songs and answered any questions we had. She was incredibly responsive, and so easy to work with. We also had to move our original 2020 date to 2021 due to Covid, and Kathleen was nothing but gracious, understanding, and accommodating throughout that entire process. A heartfelt thank you to the Wilmington String Ensemble for making our wedding ceremony all we had dreamed it would be!

nicators in the planning process rom start to finish. We and our guests were captivated by the beauty of their music from the moment we walked into the church and we heard nothing but glowing reviews from those who attended. The magic of their music was everything we hoped for and more.
A huge thank you to Kathleen and Wilmington Strings Quartet! Her string quartet performed at my wedding in August at Pomme, not only was the music absolutely beautiful, but Kathlee...
n herself was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Everyone arrived early to setup for the wedding, which was also appreciated.
Walking down the aisle and hearing such lovely music made it all the more special.
Leading up the wedding, Kathleen paid attention to every detail and was very helpful with questions I had around my song selections. She even noticed a song I had forgotten to add on my final selection sheet! For our music selection, I had selected more contemporary music for pre ceremony, and classical for the ceremony itself. Guests came up to me during the night to tell me how moving the music was! I would highly recommend Wilmington Strings for anyone that is looking for a beautiful and seamless experience.
The Wilmington String Ensemble quartet played at my son's December 2019 wedding at a church ceremony, and they were wonderful! First, they were easy to book and work with from star...
t to finish. In addition, they have a fantastic website to listen to a wide range of songs with various instruments, which helps tremendously with deciding on songs. We received many compliments on their performance and would recommend them to anyone - and we plan to use them again!

Wilmington Strings was amazing to work with from start to finish. They provided the most beautiful music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and throughout dinner. We opted for a trio...
, but I am confident any configuration would be great. We handpicked our songs, and they played beautiful arrangements of everything from Bach, to Beauty and the Beast, to the Beach Boys. I can't recommend them more! Totally professional, accommodating, and talented.
Have to be honest, I was just so happy on my wedding day, that I hardly remember hearing this amazing ensemble, but my guests were raving about them! They have sound bites from a v...
ariety of songs on their website and a very extensive list of songs in their repertoire. My husband and I had a good idea of what we would like them to play during the ceremony, but my only request for the pre-ceremony and cocktail hour pieces were that they had a strong cello presence, and the ensemble delivered! I communicated with Kathleen completely via email, which was fantastic, but I do wish we had an in person meeting. Overall, really fantastic job and we are so happy they were available for our wedding day!

n of both popular music to choose from. I wanted songs that people might recognize when they heard it and I was able to accomplish that. When waiting to walk into the room I heard the music start up, playing the song I picked for the bridal party to walk down the aisle and I immediately cried, it was beautiful.
Karen and her team were extremely helpful and professional throughout our wedding process, providing suggestions for songs and they played beautifully the night of. Highly recommen...
