other place to compare prices and windmill was much better than the other florist nearby, for the same flower setup. Windmill ended up being our top choice, and although they were very busy and we were last minute, they were very accommodating, and tried to make our wedding fit into their books. We changed the plan a few times on what the flowers would look like between when we booked and had the wedding. They were nothing but gracious and kind. The day of our wedding, we received the bud vases of our dreams, in the color palette we envisioned. Everything turned out perfectly and we would definitely use them again. Not only is windmill the best flower arrangements in the area, but it is extremely affordable -- probably the most affordable in Central, MA.

I had my heart set on Lily of the valley that unfortunately were not in season but Ernie promised he’d make it work and he did! My bouquet comprised of real and silk flowers that no one could believe weren’t real. It was perfect! Our wedding was down the Cape and the staff at the windmill delivered the flowers in a timely manner and did amazing job setting up! The staff was so welcoming and great to work with and answered all of our questions! Everyone couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the flowers were. We are more than happy with the flowers we’ve received from the Windmill and will be sure to go back for any floral needs! Ernie was so detailed with the flowers and arrangements and made our day so special that we will never forget!

Ernie delivered our bouquets to my home where us gals were getting ready and delivered our centerpieces to our venue- all well before our promised time. They did an amazing job and were very fair on price!! I would highly recommend Windmill. They are amazing at their jobs.

We then booked a new date with a new venue (Old Mill) and we found out 2 weeks ago that the Old Mill advised us to cancel the event because they could not accommodate the amount of guests we were hoping for, or even half that number. I called the Windmill Florist to let them know the situation and they first told me they could not find my original deposit paper. They then called me back later to let me know that my deposit is non-refundable and accused me of what felt like lying as they sounded shocked that the Old Mill told me no wedding seeing that they were "surprised they told you to cancel seeing we are servicing a wedding there this coming weekend". I was very offended by this claim as again I did tell them that yes, it was us who made the final decision but that was after THEY advised us to. ALSO, when I first sat down with one of the employees to pick my flowers I told her my past experience of how I did not get many deposits back (including the original florist) she was very sympathetic and told us how the owner here is very sympathetic of this situation and he refunded his previous brides. Which made me confident that if I did have to cancel our wedding a SECOND time that we at least would get our money back. The best they could offer me is use my deposit on a future event which "I saw and acknowledged to by signing the deposit slip originally." Again VERY disappointed in this situation and how it was handled and we are out more money than our first wedding... 😢

iece. I had no idea what would arrive. The flowers were delivered by a wonderful man who wore a mask, and the flowers were Beautiful!! White peonies, ivory roses, lilac and violet accent flowers and babys breath, greenery. They were densly arranged and of the highest quality. Not a drooping flower to be found. We were delighted with them. We had to let go of so many aspects of our special day and I was very happy the flowers were top notch.Thank you Windmill florists!!

to have them do my bouquets as well, but the quote I got was pretty ridiculous. It would've been about $500 for 5 bouquets plus a $100 delivery fee (even though it would've only been a 10 minute drive..). In a nutshell, they do beautiful work but they can get quite pricey.

I knew the shape I wanted and that was about it. They showed me different flowers, colors, samples, even put together samples of how certains things would look together. It was amazing. i cannot thank this florist enough for putting my mind at ease. I also was blown away at the price. It was less than half of what both my sisters paid for their wedding flowers. 5 stars for this florist for sure!!

d my mind. For a very reasonable price, Windmill created the most beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres and corsages. They delivered the flowers to the venue site and I didn't have to give a second thought to be sure everything had arrived and was ready to go. They even threw in a mini bouquet for my flower girl to go along with her flower petals.

rall vibe. As the wedding got closer we went over more details and exact numbers of arrangements. The day of the wedding, they delivered the flowers to my home and then set up everything at the wedding. Everything was meticulous... from flowers in my sisters hair, bouquets, arrangements for the mantels, to the centerpieces and unbelievable arrangements for the ceremony! Everything was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Not only were the flowers gorgeous on the day of the wedding, they lasted for weeks. My husbands grandmother keeps sending me photos of how gorgeous her flowers still look now dried out. Totally impressed! 10/5 stars

My wedding happened to be the first day of fall, and everything he designed was stunning and surpassed ANYTHING I could have hoped for (or even found on pinterest!). I cannot say enough about Ernie and Windmill!

d take a swatch before we left, I had to drive all the way back from Boston to Fitchburg. The centerpieces and Bridesmaids bouquets were absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship on my bouquet was stunning, but he should have sprayed the inside of the roses and not just the outside. It was completely obvious that the roses were painted. The boutineers were wrong. All the guys were supposed to have 1 or 2 small flowers from the girls bouquets. Only the grooms was supposed to have a single purple rose. Every boutineer was the grooms. There was also a mistake with the mothers flowers. We had asked for a very small bundle, 2 or 3, flowers. But they were an actual bouquet, much bigger than what we had asked for. We also received 2 corsages. We didn't ask for corsages but because the bundles were too large, the moms used them instead. We left the first visit with a piece of paper with two numbers on it, the total and the tax. We had no way of knowing what the heck we ordered. When I came back to give him the swatch and spray a rose, we went over all the details again but still nothing in writing for the customer, not even a simple list of the quantities and prices. I had asked several times for an itemized breakdown of what was ordered and the cost associated with each. I finally had to spell it out and ask for an actual order, with each item ordered, quantity of each, totals, tax, delivery charge, deposits made, total due and due date. But I still had no details of what we ordered in writing. They could have delivered a yellow bouquet of tulips on my wedding day and I have nothing in writing to show what I actually ordered. The amount of emails we sent back and forth were unnecessary, completely preventable and frustrating not to mention the ridiculous amount of time it took to get a response.

the day of our wedding everything looked perfect, and the flowers lasted a long time afterwards. Also, I should note that Ernie was respectful of our budget. He had great ideas for how to use our ceremony flowers inside at the reception, and was able to get us a few extra loose flowers for our cake and the bridal party's hair without extra charge. We were very pleased with all of the flowers at our wedding.

used Windmill for a few things for our wedding. Firstly, we were going to do the centerpieces ourselves (which were going to be glass cylinders filled with water and a flower submerged inside, floating candle on top). After talking to Ernie it turned out it would be cheaper for him to do it than us - which was less for us to worry about - so that was awesome! With that, they also did a Brides bouquet, 2 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 maid of honor bouquet, and a tossing bouquet, along with a larger arrangement in a beautiful crystal vase that went in the foyer of our venue, 2 corsages, 1 arrangement for the groom to wear on his lapel, and they also provided loose petals for the flower girls and cake at no extra charge. Going into it, we had no idea what flowers we wanted. After a consultation with Ernie, he knew what our vision was and just went with it. We ended up with beautiful arrangements of orange and white roses, tiger lilies, orchids, and more. Our colors were teal and orange, they matched them amazingly in the wrappings of the bouquets. It is hard sometimes to trust someone with one huge thing such as flowers (because we had no idea what we were doing), but we don't regret for one minute giving him some free reign. We got amazing professional flower arrangements, AND we didn't even have to worry about the delivery to the venue on the day of, or setting up the centerpieces. Windmill worked directly with the venue on the morning of to have everything set up and in place. Ernie and Windmill will be our go to florist for any more flower needs we have in the future. I suggest definitely checking them out, or go in for a consultation, the quality for the price is definitely worth it!
