the minute we passed through the gates at Windwood I knew it was the one! James drove through just a few minutes behind me and the minute he walked in the courtyard he was like “yup, this is it! I’m not looking at anything else.” The evergreens all around were amazing by themselves just because you don’t have to go all out with florals if you don’t want to. But it wasn’t just the beautiful setting, it was definitely Lyndsey - the coordinator there. Like a crazy woman, I decided I would plan our wedding myself (which I do not recommend to anyone) and thankfully at every confused or overwhelming point Lyndsey was there. I mean for literally everything! Finances to layouts to vendor recommendations, coordinating with both sets of our parents all out of state. So many options to choose from for your ceremony/reception and we even stayed the night before at the carriage house (my maid and matron of honor and myself) which is where the bridal party got ready and had some privacy but could still keep an eye on the setup! Not to mention the fenced in area with water that we let our pups play in until they also had to get ready for the wedding! Lyndsey took the time to make sure they had water and kept everybody on schedule day of picking up people on the golf cart! She was so knowledgeable and pretty much had a contact for every possible detail. She helped with everything from getting our decor out, last minute change of plans for the ceremony when we thought there would be rain! Also, there actually wasn’t rain but if you have a wedding in the summer you might want the tent anyway - all of our guests were so happy to have some shaded seating area. And another note, originally we intended a small wedding and over the course of planning our guest list doubled but the venue maintained as a beautiful intimate setting for it all - very very versatile in terms of size but still being fitting! I’ve been to weddings at beautiful venues but even with a ton of guests it still feels too big and empty - not like that at all for Winwood. Plus - THE FIREWORKS!!! THE HORSIES!! LYNDSEY!! My family and friends are still saying how beautiful our venue was! I’d marry James a million more times if I needed to and I’d do it there every single time! 10/10 would recommend <3

d canceling with Windwood, I was so tired of looking. However, we didn't, and it was the biggest blessing we didn't. As soon as we pulled through the gate, we both said, "this is it, this is our venue". It's like finding the perfect dress! Not only is the venue breathtaking all on its own, the staff and owners are precious. William was so welcoming from day one. I remember the night before the wedding, we rented the Airbnb, and he came up late at night to help us with something. Lyndsey was there every step of the way, managing the space while also helping my own wedding planner. I cannot recommend them enough. It was truly a dream come true!

a. Lyndsey was so helpful each step of the way and really made our day special! It was a freezing 30 degrees that night and she put my jacket in the dryer to warm it up! The staff there chauffeured us on golf carts and helped me with my horse portraits. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the care you receive!

d on this venue because the site offers a wide array of options regarding ceremony site. The reception area is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The stables are immaculate and having the horses there made it extra special for me. The greenery in the summer is gorgeous, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like family. Our wedding coordinator there met with us prior to the wedding to ensure that our dream day could become a reality. If you're looking for an outdoor wedding venue, I highly recommend Windwood Equestrian farms.

Windwood worked with us to make sure our dreams had a chance to come true. Not only is this venue enchanting but William, Arden, and Lynsey make you feel at home and make the process as easy as possible! You won’t be disappointed in this venue!

to work with. He made us feel very welcome and after an hour with him. I had many questions initially, as any bride-to-be would, and he was always helpful and attentive to my questions. He encouraged us to visit the site as often as we needed to while we were planning. The day of the wedding was perfect. The staff greeted us when we arrived and we were given the royal treatment. The entire day was stress free. But more importantly the venue was absolutely breathtaking. Arden Photography captured every aspect of the day, one I will never forget. If you are looking for your perfect wedding, Windwood is the place.

to any other venue. William and his team made sure everything was perfect. He is so passionate about his beautiful equestrian and there was no detail left out. They were always just a phone call away when we had any kind of question. They made wonderful suggestions on outside vendors and took care of most of the planning for us. The actual day of the wedding was such a breeze and everything was perfect. The guests talked all night about how beautiful everything was and it's a wedding that will never be forgotten!!
