chieve a glam look that still felt right for me. Working with Jean (JR) at Windy City Glam was such a reassuring and educational experience. Jean made me feel completely comfortable sharing feedback and even changing my look significantly from my trial to my wedding day. Doing the trial and asking questions about the products and techniques she was using really helped me learn the vocabulary I needed to communicate what I wanted and make adjustments before the wedding. I was honestly nervous after my trial because I didn’t love how I looked—but that was not Jean’s fault at all! She followed my instructions exactly, and I simply realized that I didn’t like my own original idea. I was able to email Carla and Rienna with the changes I wanted, and they translated my feedback into detailed notes for Jean. By the time my wedding day arrived, everything came together perfectly. My makeup was exactly what I wanted, looked amazing, and lasted all night without needing any touch-ups! I also had a very large group getting ready: nine bridesmaids, two grandmas, and my mom were getting their hair done, while both grandmas, the mother of the groom, and my mom were also getting their makeup done. Despite the massive number of people needing services, Windy City Glam’s team was incredibly organized and efficient. Our day started at 9 a.m., and somehow everyone was ready, looking amazing, and we still finished earlier than expected—with time to spare around 1 p.m. I could not have been happier with my experience with Windy City Glam. They were talented, organized, professional, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated how supported I felt when I changed my mind about my bridal look and how seamlessly the entire team worked together to make sure I felt perfect on my wedding day. I would absolutely recommend them to any bride, especially someone who wants a team that will truly listen, collaborate, and help bring their vision to life.

asn’t sure as far as my budget, but I knew I wanted to book ASAP and I’m so glad I did.  I got on a call with Cathy and we talked about the standard things, how I normally wear my makeup, what products I normally use, how to prep my skin, if I had any ideas on how I wanted to wear my hair, stuff like that. She also listened to my concerns based off of past experiences with getting makeup done and it not holding up through the night based off of the application. I really felt as ease after getting off that call. My trial was 3 months before the wedding date and I got paired with Jean. How was it possible that I met my hairstylist/MUA and she knocked it out of the park. I just met this woman and she was able to work her magic on me! I took a walk in the neighborhood to get some food afterwards and apparently put my hair and makeup through the test of nature. It was so hot and wind was blowing left and right, everything stayed in tact! Which is so important to me since the wedding was going to be in July. The team reached out to me and asked if I wanted to get my hair/makeup done for the rehearsal or post wedding day. I was so sad that I overbooked myself and couldn’t make time. Fortunately, I was able to get my hair done for my bridal shower.  I wanted to do something different because I didn’t want anyone to know what my wedding hair was going to look like. Jean listened to what I wanted to do and was able to do my hair beautifully. My hair was so nice, my friends who knew I wanted to do a half up half down, told me to reconsider and do an updo instead!  I prepped my skin using their guide, and let’s be honest. I wanted to listen to everything Windy City Glam told me, because I wanted my hair and makeup to sit right, but it will only happen if I did my part in taking care of my skin and hair.  Come the day of the wedding, Jean was early which personally to me means a lot. As soon as I sat in the chair, she asked me if I wanted to change things up from our first hair trial and I ended up making some minor adjustments. The makeup process was pretty similar, but honestly, had full faith in her. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my own skin. Looking in the mirror gave me that reassurance that I was pretty all along, it really spoke true to who I am and she did such a great job highlighting that. I also want to point out that while we were getting ready in the morning, Jean’s calmness and her passion, really put myself to ease. Not that I had any doubt in the hair/makeup, but I was just anxious all week. Watching her work on me, my family, I was just in awe which distracted me from the wedding jitters.  My hair and makeup stayed in tact throughout the day, aside from me sobbing during the emotional parts, but nothing a little touch up can’t do.  I cannot recommend having Windy City Glam enough, especially Jean, she’s so great and fun to work with. I wish our journey together never have to end. Book this team, you will not regret it.

re i met my stylists Veronica and Reyna. They listened so attentively to my wishes (I'm a daily makeup girl so I had a lot of inspo and a specific vision!) and were so excited to work with me. I was in love with my trial makeup, but of course had some tweaks to make for the big day. Both Reyna and Veronica took my very vague, poorly described changes i wanted to make and knew EXACTLY what to do. These ladies are professionals at their art and not to mention just straight up nice people. The best part, despite the sweat, the tears, and the spilled alcohol, my makeup and hair stayed flawless for well over 12 hours. No caking. No pilling. No mats. Just flawless glam. I hope I can work with them again in the future for other events because they were incredibly impressive. 10/10 would hire and would recommend
