Our itineraries involved stops for photos as well as a church ceremony, and everything ran smoothly. While Windy City is not going to be the least expensive option out there, the value is in the wide selection of vehicles and the trustworthy professionalism of the operation. Communications are excellent. Vehicles are well maintained and very clean. Drivers are extremely professional and well dressed. Shout out to our drivers: Edgar and Victor. Timely, friendly, competent. When there’s so much to worry about on the day of your daughter’s wedding, you’ll want transportation that is 100% reliable. I highly recommend Windy City.

Here’s all the things that went wrong: -music on the bus didn’t work -driver called and texted me all day even though she had two contact numbers she was supposed to call -car was not properly checked for fluids, and ran out of coolant. Driver had to leave during my paid time to get coolant, and caused me to have to push back my entire ceremony/reception. I also had to pay extra money for my photographer and videographer due to this -I was charged for the full day even though we cut services off early, and she left for an hour to get coolant. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Caused so much stress during my wedding day and so much extra money had to be spent due to their terrible execution of my event.

One of the drivers helped our wedding party with unloading and moving around items with was much appreciated! Unfortunately, our experience with the front office was much different. Windy City Limo does not provide contracts, so we were never sure if our services were confirmed and if the information was correct. The paperwork they provided in advance had incorrect information and we requested updates numerous times, but each “correction” was still wrong. Due to this, we were incorrectly billed fr the services. Additionally, we were charged the incorrect hourly minimum for services. Our representative did not tell us the hourly minimum had been updated since our initial negotiation. The billing department was quick to correct these issues, but we were frustrated with this error after several requests. In short, the drivers and vehicles were fantastic, but the front office service was less than ideal.

r surprise.. our shuttle had ZERO air conditioning. It wasn’t until the bus got to 90 degrees and my husband asked for a new bus that they sent another but by then… it was too late. We had 9 men in tuxedos, 8 women in satin dresses and myself in a very large wedding dress and by the time we got to the ceremony, we looked horrible and felt miserable. Our hair was falling, our makeup was smearing, the girls dresses had sweat stains for the ceremony, our flowers were wilted. If you’re getting married in the summer and want to rent a bus during photos to use as a place to cool everyone off, don’t or go somewhere else. These buses are old and dated.

We were also told more or less that it was our fault that we scheduled photos outside on a hot day by 1 individual over the phone, and that the oversight of the water bottles, incorrect itinerary, and malfunctioning AC were the fault of the driver and Windy City wasn't liable. The feedback below from the vendor should only solidify why you shouldn't work with this company. Whatever you do, do not book Windy City Limo. My wedding was on 8/6/2022, on one of the hottest days of the year in Chicago. My MIL had primarily worked with Linci to coordinate two buses - a 23 passenger bus for the wedding party and a 56 passenger bus for guests. Initially, communication was very good and our buses were on time. To summarize, we were promised the following by Linci: 1. An air conditioned bus 2. Water - we actually didn't ask for this, but it was offered to us 3. Correct navigation based on the itinerary we discussed Unfortunately, as we embarked on our bus to take photos with the wedding party, the following occurred: 1. Our best man needed to sit in the front of the bus with the driver to "troubleshoot" the AC. At one point, it was 85+ degrees on the bus. 2. No water bottles. Because this was promised to us in our contract, I told the wedding party to not bring water with them. Why offer this to us if you had no intention of actually providing waters? 3. The driver went to the incorrect location. I had to shout off directions as the bride to our driver, Julie. This situation was unsafe given the heat and this company was dishonest across all aspects of what we were promised. The thousands we spent on hair and makeup didn't matter because we sweated it all off on the bus. I actually cried before the ceremony because how much stress this put on me and the day. It pains me to read the positive reviews from other brides and groups. Because of Windy City Limo, one of my bridesmaids almost passed out, our hair was ruined in photos, and we ran behind behind schedule. To make matters worse, this company doesn't seem to care and my Mother in Law has had to follow up several times. Brides - please, please, PLEASE stay away from this company.

We were a little disappointed that they required a 6-hour minimum charge, since we only needed service for about 3.5 hours. But it was nice that it was all-inclusive, including tip, and it was still less than the quote for similar size buses for 4 hours, so it was good value. They were easy to work with and ultimately did a great job day of. The driver arrived well in advance of the start time, and was fine to wait for us to be ready since we were still taking pictures. She took us around to multiple stops around the Loop, doing a great job navigating traffic and finding places to drop us off for pictures. The bus was also clean and perfectly air conditioned and comfy, and well-stocked with water. Also had bluetooth so we could play music. Would definitely recommend.

She was on time, super friendly, a terrific driver, and was able to pick us up in really convenient locations without us having to walk all over to get to her. Getting the bus scheduled was also super easy and stress free! I worked with Bailey to get a quote and get all the details nailed down and she was prompt and very helpful. I would definitely recommend WCL for getting your wedding party to your photo locations!
