Hiring Winey Blondes to plan our wedding was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. As you get to the end of the planning and the wedding gets closer, serious fatigue sets in. However, Karen, who was our planner, was the best at helping with this. She helped me make informed decisions and gave advice based on her years of experience. The things I thought were “big deals” she solved in no time. She was flexible, easy going, and EXTREMELY organized. She gave us a workbook to fill out throughout the planning process which helped keep us on track and organized. We met with her frequently and she helped us add things to the list and cross others off. She also was our day of coordinator. Looking back, this is the one position at the wedding that is invaluable. She kept people organized, answered questions so I didn’t have to, solved problems that came up, kept us on time, pinned up my bustle when it broke, packed up the getaway car with my things, sent us with food, handled the marriage license….and so many other things that are probably behind the scenes I don’t even know about. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Do yourself a favor and hire Winey Blondes to plan your wedding!!
I cannot say enough good things about Winey Blonde, especially our planner Bethany. I was not sure if I needed a planner, but after my first mental breakdown trying to plan everything on my own, I knew I needed help. Karen, the owner, was amazing and put me in the best hands possible with Bethany. I could not have asked for a better partner to help plan my wedding. She thought of everything and was there for me every step of the way! I was able to actually enjoy the process and my special day! I cannot tell you how many people complimented us on our wedding and told us that whatever we were paying our planner, we should pay her more because she was doing an amazing job! Working with Bethany was the best decision I could have made for my wedding, and I also gained a friend for life! If you are even thinking about hiring a wedding planner (which I highly recommend doing so) then call Winey Blonde. I shopped around and Winey Blonde was not only one of the most reasonably priced, but came HIGHLY recommended from multiple other vendors I had spoke to throughout the process. These ladies are the real deal and are genuinely invested in doing what is best for you! We hired Winey Blonde Event Co. - Karen Gramlich as our wedding coordinator for our wedding in 2020.We initially were introduced to the company through a common Air Force affiliation. Luckily we were perfectly placed at the same location of station at the same time and I couldn’t be more grateful! We were a reschedule wedding from Covid. Karen was a blessing in many ways. I couldn’t say a single negative comment about her or her company. She was very patient, thoughtful, and organized. All very important attributes to look for in your wedding day coordinator. She went above and beyond my every expectation. As my fiancé says time and time again to me, “Shannon, you have way high expeditions.” So, if that says something to you, then do yourself a favor and hire them for your wedding day! You will not be disappointed! She executed the events through my special day flawlessly!
Karen was an absolute dream to work with. Our wedding was on a family friend's property which meant we had to source everything from various vendors and she flawlessly organized the details and timeline. The week of the wedding I was able to focus completely on family and friends and didn't have to field a single vendor question, and if anything went wrong on the day of I certainly didn't know about it because Karen was behind the scenes handling everything. My family absolutely loved working with her and we were so sad when the wedding was over and we had to say goodbye. I cannot recommend her or her company enough!
I never knew how badly I needed a day of coordinator until I had one. Thank GOD for Winey Blonde, specifically Blair, for being there on my big day. I was in the middle of a job search/change the weeks before my wedding, so I was not on top of everything like I should have been. However, Blair was wonderful. She completely made up for my lack of everything and was very helpful. My family members also came to me to compliment her on her helpfulness and ability to metaphorically wrangle a herd of cats. I had my wedding at The Chimneys at Big Canoe, which works with Winey Blonde a lot, but I would recommend her/them for any venue!
Stop reading this review and go book Winey Blonde Events for your wedding! :) Britt Moss planned our wedding and reception at Kaya Vineyard on 4/6/19 and it was absolutely perfect. She's extremely detail-oriented, fun to work with, will help you negotiate if/when you need it, and will make sure your special day is exactly what you want. I am not kidding when I say that I had absolutely ZERO stress on our wedding day because of Britt. She coordinates everything with ease and makes sure every detail is buttoned up to perfection. Even our rehearsal was quick and efficient (and fun!) because Britt is a total pro. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in good hands. This was the best money we spent throughout the entire wedding process. You will not regret working with Winey Blonde. We love you Britt!! :)
Alyssa with Winey Blonde Events was absolutely amazing on our wedding day! Everything went incredibly smoothly and I could not have asked for a more perfectly planned day of timeline. She even helped with helping keep unwanted guests out of the bridal suite while we were getting ready, which was an unexpected perk. I could not speak more highly of the work she did for our wedding! Winey Blonde Events was absolutely fabulous to work with! We got married 11/10/18 in Charleston, SC and could not have been happier with all the guidance and help from Winey Blonde Events. Alyssa was who we worked with the most and she was fabulous! She was easy to work with and I never felt pushed in a direction that I didn't want to go or was unsure about. From the beginning, Alyssa and Karen helped get me on track with the planning process and from the first meeting on, I felt very at ease with the whole planning process. All thanks to them! And as for our wedding day, I could not have been happier with how Alyssa made everything run so smoothly! It was such a wonderful day and I am so happy I chose Winey Blonde Events to help plan the whole thing! I absolutely recommend them and am so pleased with my whole experience working with them!

Erin was my day-of coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. I would recommend her to any one that is looking for a coordinator! From fixing my make-up, telling the vendors where they need to be and even helping me use the bathroom in my dress (lol), Erin couldn’t have done a better job. Thank you so much for all your effort!
I don't even know where to start! I honestly don't know what I would have done without the help of Karen and her team. But Karen, she was always there when I needed her, even if it was just to vent. A year and a half she helped me plan my dream wedding. My husband and I (ahhhhh!!) went through a lot during our engagement and Karen was there for it all. I truly feel that she became more friend than wedding planner and I am so thankful for her. And let me tell you...she kicked butt on the day of our wedding, which was yesterday haha. My bridesmaids and friends were so impressed with her. Don't even get me started on my Parents. They loved her and she always kept them informed of everything (especially the budget). I could probably go on and on and on about how much I love Winey Blonde Events and Karen but I think they cap your word count eventually. If you are a bride looking for a planner, pick Winey Blonde Events Co.!!!!!!!

Everyone at Winey Blone Events was amazing. Our coordinator, Erin, made us feel so comfortable straight away and was great at communicating with us and helping us through every step of the way. I can’t say enough about Karen and her team! They were wonderful! I couldn’t have done it without all of their help. Karen is amazing and so incredibly helpful. I live in Florida but my wedding was in Alpharetta, Ga so without Winey Blonde Events Co. things would have been much harder to plan. Even weeks before the wedding when I was panicking about some minor details, Karen reassured me that everything would work out perfectly and that I could trust her to take care of it. The whole day went so smoothly and everything was just perfect. Truly my dream wedding. She was always there to calm me down or tell me she’s got it under control. My Mom is so thankful for you as well(she doesn’t have Facebook)! After the wedding was over, Karen took all of the flower arrangements and gifts to my Mom’s house so they would be safe. I was texting and asking Karen a million questions after the wedding and she answered every question I had even though her job was done. She goes above and beyond for her brides. If you are thinking about getting a wedding planner, I highly recommend Winey Blonde Events Co. They are totally worth the money and I feel like I gained a friend out of Karen. You will not regret it.

We hired Winey Blonde Events to coordinate our daughter’s wedding and were blown away at the professionalism and service we were provided! Alyssa was our coordinator and from day one, she put us at ease that she could help execute our vision. We had multiple meetings with her prior to the wedding and she was in constant contact to make sure we stayed on track. Our ceremony and reception site were at a private residence, not a venue so we had RJ manage many extra details. Alyssa was the “executive producer” of our event and made sure everything went smoothly. Our goal was to give our daughter a beautiful and fun wedding and one that we could enjoy. Alyssa coordinated our vendors and we did not have to worry about anything on the wedding day! She had every detail planned and executed flawlessly! My husband and I both agreed the service provided by Winey Blonde Events coordinator was a tremendous value, worth every penny! We were so very pleased and would recommend them without question!

I don't even know how to express how wonderful Winey Blonde Events Co. is. I was a bit unsure of hiring a planner, but I honestly don't know how I would have done it without them. Erin is simply wonderful. We clicked immediately and she had my back with anything new I wanted to do and any change that happened. They really made my day run so smoothly and it was so much fun! Erin was AMAZING! She was so sweet and ready to take on any challenge I threw her way. I had a seating chart issue at the reception and she took charge, blamed herself to the guests so I wouldn't be embarrassed, and fixed the problem within seconds!!! Karen was also helping along the planning part and set up and we loved her too! They are both so kind, calm, focused, and professional. Totally can take and problem or challenge and make it even better than you could have imagined. I would definitely recommend and suggest Winey Blonde Events to anyone planning an event or wedding!
Ashley and Karen with Winey Blonde Events were so easy to work with and made sure my wedding day went seamlessly. Ashley was texting me the day before my wedding calming me down when I was worried about last minute items... she even called me to reassure me that everything was going to be OK and that they were going to make sure it was all perfect. And it was... I couldn't have asked for a better, more perfect wedding day. They made sure all my vendors were lined up and my wedding timeline went according to plan... but nothing felt rushed or too "scheduled". My wedding day felt natural and beautiful, as it should've been. I would refer Ashley and Karen over and over again.
Elizabeth and the Winey Blonde Events team was amazing!!! Elizabeth went above and beyond. Whether it was making last minute calls to vendors on my behalf to ask new questions, getting the venue absolutely perfect day-of, or even picking up my wedding dress for me and bringing it to the venue, Elizabeth was amazing. I got the day-of coordination package, but Elizabeth did SO MUCH MORE! She helped me from our very first meeting over 3 months out and was always available by phone, text, and email. Day-of, everything ran incredibly smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing and Elizabeth and Brenna made sure my husband and I always had a drink in our hands and knew what was coming up next. I can't say it enough - you will not regret hiring Winey Blonde, and Elizabeth in particular!!!
Karen is the best! She does so much for such an affordable price. She is so on top of things while still being laid back. I am a very type A organized person so I was a little worried at first that I wouldn't be able to 'let go' on the day of, but she had everything so under control in advance that I wasn't even concerned or anxious about anything the day of.
I cannot say enough great things about Karen and our wedding planner, Ashley Polite. During the planning, I kept having to remind myself that this is what they do for a living as they made everything so easy and smooth that it almost seemed to good to be true. A particular shout out to Ashley as she totally took care of me and my husband during the wedding ensuring we had food, drink and were where we needed to be while still allowing us to sit back and just enjoy our time with friends and families. I've had multiple people call me since the wedding to say it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so memorable and special.
My wedding coordinator, Ashley, was amazing. She was always available to answer any of my MANY questions, rolled with our table changes, and always had the biggest smile on her face! The day of, she was so helpful in running the show, keeping things on time and setting up our reception beautifully.
