There are not enough "stars" or "key words" words to adequately rate our experience working with Sophia Morton (aka Wink & Willow). Aside from being an amazing person, Sophia is amazing at her "craft"! Some people may think money spent on a wedding planner is a waste, but I can tell you first hand that Sophia saved us money in the big picture. She was very skillful in negotiating contracts, getting incredible "bang for our buck," and equally important she was extremely thoughtful in helping our daughter and now son-n-law achieve their vision of this once in a lifetime event. I have had many friends tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever experienced. So if you will be planning a wedding, I suggest your first call be to Sophia Morton. I cannot overstate how glad my partner and I were to have Sophia and her team at Wink & Willow plan and execute our wedding in June 2019. There are SO many choices to make during the wedding planning process, and hiring Wink & Willow was -- by FAR -- the best one we made. Sophia has the experience, organization, and excellent taste that you look for in a wedding planner. She really got to know us and understand what we valued and wanted on our special day, and provided pitch-perfect suggestions and recommendations to make the planning process enjoyable (not just bearable). When friends and family ask how stressful it was to plan our wedding, they're usually shocked when I say "it was fun!". And that's all thanks so Sophia. Sophia and her team also provided day-of execution support during both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and we couldn't believe how professionally and efficiently every detail of both days was orchestrated. No detail went overlooked, from each day's thorough itinerary (complete with contingencies), to the beautiful styling of furniture and floral arrangements. Sophia completely understood the "vibe" we were going for, and turned our outdoor setting into a truly memorable experience for all of our guests. (More than one guest commented that they felt like they were experiencing something out of a magazine, and trust me, that wasn't MY doing...). If you're on the fence about hiring W&W, do yourself a favor and just pull the trigger. Best decision we made.

I worked with Wink & Willow last fall for my daughter's wedding at our home last fall. It turned out to be a spectacular event and we never could have done it without their incredible attention to detail and masterful execution all through the process. Where do I start? Sophia from Wink & Willow made our wedding absolutely INCREDIBLE!! If you're in the VT/NY area, this is who you'd want as your Wedding Planner/Designer etc. Sophia is a true gem and so great to be around. She not only helped put together an AMAZING team to help plan/design the perfect wedding, but she is also an awesome human. As every bride/groom knows, trying to attempt to plan a wedding can be a stressful process, but having Sophia as our wedding planner, truly took all the stress away. I never once worried about anything during the planning process (and the wedding was in VT but we live in NJ) or on the wedding day. She is beyond organized, assertive, creative, professional, talented, fun, a good listener, problem solver! I mean the list goes on and on. If i could give Sophia and Wink & Willow 10 stars, I would! I am so grateful for her and recommend her to EVERY bride/groom to be!!

If you are in need of a wedding planner in the VT/NY upstate area, look no further. Sophia is truly a STAR. I was hesitant to hire a planner because I thought I could manage on my own - 2 weeks in I panicked realizing how hard and nuanced planning a wedding was, and started the interview process. I probably spoke to over 10 wedding planners in the area, and it was so evident immediately that there was no one else I wanted to work with -Sophia was it! Unfortunately my fiance and I were planning a wedding in the time of COVID and will never get our chance at the wedding we had spent 6 months planning with Sophia, but I have no doubt in my mind that she would have made that day an absolute dream. Aside from not getting to live out our dream wedding day as planned, I am most sad to not have spent the last 6 months planning alongside Sophia. I always genuinely appreciated our frequent calls and her endless support and guidance. Ultimately, Sophia became our friend. Sophia is a professional in every sense of the word. She listened to my crazy ideas (and dealt with my indecisiveness with grace) and was ready to execute on them. I am so confident that Sophia would have brought our vision to life. She is everything you want and need in a planner - organized, honest, prompt, responsive and dedicated. She even helped as the buffer with classic family dynamics, playing a careful and methodical balancing act (e.g. dealing with our overbearing and over-involved mothers) AND made my fiance excited about our planning calls. She's THAT good. If you use Sophia for planning your special wedding day, I will be envious because you will be the luckiest bride and groom :)

If you hire Wink & Willow for your wedding, you can breathe easy because you already nailed it! Since day 1 when Sophia first came to scout my family’s property, I knew I was in good hands. She is a perfect mix of being on top of her game and impeccably organized, and also super chill. It was incredibly reassuring throughout the year-long planning process knowing that Sophia was in my corner and looking out for all the details. I planned my wedding on Lake Champlain from NYC, and found Sophia’s knowledge and recommendations for vendors in the area to be top notch. She was always a phone call, text or email away, communicated with all of my vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page and logistics ran smoothly, and helped bring all of my ideas to life and then some. She also has a serious eye for design and had amazing ideas of her own, making my wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. An added bonus is that she will hook you up with Chickadee Hill’s furniture rental, which is seriously chic! Sophia is a true pro and goes above and beyond every step of the way. I was sad when it was all over and I had no reason to bug her anymore! Do not hesitate in hiring Wink & Willow; it is the best decision you could ever make for your wedding.

Sophia is truly amazing and has a true gift. We couldn't have pulled off our wedding without her. She helped me plan and execute the elegant wedding of my dreams at family's rustic lake house in Vermont while I was on the other side of the country. She is a true professional who thinks about every detail. She is incredibly responsive, attentive, efficient and also a joy to be around, which makes planning feel much less stressful. She listens carefully to your vision and helps you make it happen. At the same time, she is honest about how to make the experience the best possible for the wedding party and the guests, and how to keep the wedding within the realm of the possible. My wedding day was one of the happiest days of my life, and I honestly can't thank Sophia enough for all of her hard work to make it happen. I highly highly highly recommend working with her!

Five stars are not enough for Wink & Willow. Sophia is an absolute gem, and we genuinely mean it when we say we could not have pulled our wedding off without her help. We live in Los Angeles but got married at a family property in upstate NY, so all of our planning was done from afar. We didn't get to do any of the usual walkthroughs, tastings and samplings leading up to the big day, arriving at the venue a week before the ceremony, but Sophia was there to help us every step of the way. She was incredibly responsive and patient with us throughout the process, and the different time zones were never an issue. She listened to all of our ideas, yet knew how and when to gently push back or disagree, while offering up fantastic ideas of her own to nudge you in the right direction. She's got an awesome eye for design and was a huge help in designing our floral arrangements; the bouquets, boutonnieres, and table settings were gorgeous. She's been a professional for years and it shows. In person she's very calm, funny and down to earth - beyond easy to communicate with. We had a rambunctious wedding party, touch and go weather, and an unorthodox venue, yet she handled it all in stride, never once emanating any sense of stress or frustration. My wife and I's comfort was always her upmost concern, and she never failed to put us at ease. She was a total firewall between us and the millions of questions that pop up throughout your big day. We could not be more thankful for Sophia and all her hard work, and would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Sophia is an AMAZING wedding planner. She helped primarily with the ceremony design for our wedding and she was phenomenal. I am not design oriented and gave Sophia a vague idea of what we were looking for. She ran with it and each time I sent her a crazy idea, she came back up numerous suggestions and ways to implement it. The best part was I could tell she really loved doing it. We got married in the woods, and she created the most beautiful floral decorations using lanterns from her other business which does wedding rentals (chickadee hill - reinventing wedding rentals). It looked like magical. I truly cannot say enough things about Sophia's style and eye for design. Check out her website and you will see exactly what I'm talking about. In addition to having an phenomenal eye for design, Sophia brings years of wedding planning experience to the table. You may not realize how important this is until you start planning and realize that there are 1000 logistical details, many of which you may not even think about until its too late. Because of her experience, Sophia anticipates issues before they arise and plans accordingly. I am not one for leaving reviews, but I really cannot say enough nice things about Sophia's work. On a side note, she is also a hilarious and down to earth human being that you will enjoy spending time with. I have no doubt that soon she will be booking up years in advance (if she isn't already). Book her while you still can! You will be in great hands.

Sophia and the Wink and Willow team are nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we had our preliminary conversation about services, I knew we would be in good hands. Sophia is beyond organized, professional, fun and so knowledgeable. She is quick to respond to any and all questions and was always there to provide guidance and assistance. If I could give her 6 out of 5 starts I would!! Working with Wink and Willow was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. A HUGE thanks, Sophia!!

Choosing Wink and Willow as our wedding planner proved to be hands down the best decision we made throughout the process. What Sophia brings to the table that is so unique—notably for a Lake Placid wedding—is her connection with so many exceptional vendors from both near and far. We would have never found our caterer or baker, both of whom are based out of Vermont, without Sophia’s guidance and previous experience working with them. And from the big decisions on venues and vendors down to the tiny details, Sophia knocked it out of the park. She took time to understand our vision for the decor and vibe of our day and came up with beautiful and thoughtful designs that were beyond our expectations and still within budget. When we started feeling the temptation to DIY many of the little details, Sophia guided us in the editing process without being pushy and remained eager to implement any project that we had our heart set on. When it came to our actual wedding day, Sophia and her staff were masters at controlling the flow of the day, so that we were both able to really be present and enjoy every moment. As we celebrated into the night, she was tactfully behind the scenes making it all happen and smiling the entire time!

Sophia was absolutely amazing! We hired her to coordinate the day of our wedding. She was super great at getting our vendors to answer questions and to plan everything out. She was personable and great to work with. She was so patient with all of our questions and really took the time to get our vision. I 100% recommend her!

Sophia is incredible. She made our wedding so magical, easy, and fun. We got married at a farm that required a lot of logistics to get people to/from the site and Sophia executed all the plans perfectly. Our wedding was a three day extravaganza and Sophia planned every minute of it so well. We're still blown away by her ability to be so on top of everything and to be such an incredible joy to work with. We could not recommend her enough!!!!!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations! Sophia was an absolute delight to work with over the almost year of planning. She listened, offered creative ideas and solutions, and helped keep everyone to schedule which was key since we were planning an out-of-state wedding in Lake Placid, NY. I cannot express how happy we both were that day - from the venue décor, timely arrival of all vendors, the cake, the flow of the rehearsal to the wedding day - it was seamless. We were able to enjoy every moment as she and her team took care of everything. You could not ask for a more warm, friendly, smart, professional to work with. Amazing, creative, reliable, professional, innovative! These are only a few words out of the many that I could use to describe Wink & Willow. Much of the reason why our wedding was absolutely perfect is due to Sophia and Wink & Willow. We live out of state, so planning a wedding from afar could have become overwhelming, but with the attention given by Sophia this was definitely not the case. Sophia helped to create and execute flawlessly the vision that we had for our wedding day and gave beautiful and unique suggestions that stayed true to what we hoped for, but also made it even more than we could’ve dreamt of. The seating for our guests was beyond beautiful and romantic because of Sophia’s innovative suggestion and our family and friends still can’t stop talking about it! Wink & Willow was always just an email, text or phone call away and went above to make our day perfect. We are eternally grateful and can tell you that you could not make a better decision for creating your wedding than to work with Wink & Willow!

Sophia is absolutely amazing! She has wonderful ideas and creates a vision for the weddings she plans. She was available for anything I needed - even an emergency seamstress after mine altered my dress poorly! Sophia helped me find another seamstress within a few days and eased my worries. I can't recommend her enough!
