We had an absolutely amazing experience with Wink Inspired Beauty. From the first phone call, I felt comfortable talking with Ashley about what we were looking for on the day of. My mom and I had a hair and makeup trial and got to try out looks that we thought we wanted and were able to make tweaks to them on the day of the wedding.
Our originally scheduled hair stylist for the day of had a family emergency out of state the week of our wedding and was not going to be able to make it back in time. Their coordinator, Maddie, was absolutely phenomenal and already had a reassigned hair stylist before reaching out to let me know the news. I was able to look through some of her styles and felt comfortable moving forward with our new stylist, Julie, on the wedding day. And she hit it out of the park. She had a very calming energy and was able to listen to what we all were looking for. Everyone’s hair looked fantastic.
Our makeup artist, Halla, was also an absolute pleasure to work with. Halla listened to what style makeup each of the girls were looking for and continuously checked in to see how we were liking our looks. She was also super calming on our wedding day and made sure that we were all happy and touched up before leaving for the day.
Overall, we had a small little hiccup with the one hair stylist not being able to make it, but it definitely all worked out how it was meant to and we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out on the day of!
The wink team is amazing! Everyone looked so gorgeous and had a fun time getting ready. I had a bit of a non traditional look for my big day, and these ladies brought it to life. I felt like a badass. Can’t wait to share photos!

From the hair and make up trial to the actual wedding day, your team was punctual, professional and very skilled. Thank you for making our wedding day so special. Ashley and Charity did an amazing job on myself and my bridal party for my wedding. They both took such time and care into not only myself but everyone who was getting makeup and/or hair done. We all got so many compliments and all my friends and family said they were so impressed with the quality of the job done. So many said it was by far one of the best experiences with wedding hair/make up professionals. Everyone of course loved chatting with Ashley and Charity as well. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone for a wedding or any other event. They are a pleasure to have as part of the getting ready process.
Ashley and her team knocked it out of the park for our wedding last weekend! Everyone's hair and makeup looked absolutely stunning and they listened to everything we wanted. Halla did my makeup and was so patient and kind to make sure I was happy with every little detail. She even helped me take a moment alone when she could tell I needed a bit of privacy - truly there to make the experience so comfortable. I could not recommend them enough.
Ashley and her crew are AMAZING! They were so kind and fun! My bridesmaids and I loved our hair and makeup! At the end of the night, after hours of dancing, our hair and makeup still looked stunning! Best hair and makeup team ever!!
Ashley and her team are awesome! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding day exactly how I wanted it. I am someone who is very picky about my makeup too, so really they did great!! Every girl in my bridal party was very happy with their hair and makeup too!
Ashley and her team far exceeded expectations. I chose the package she has available which offers a virtual meeting prior to the big day but no in person hair/makeup trial. She assured me not to be nervous, but what bride isn’t a little nervous about those details? Well she went into every little detail about how I wanted my hair and makeup done in that virtual meeting and the end result on the wedding day was even better than I could have imagined. She truly made my vision come to life. Her staff was professional, talented, timely and easy to communicate with. I hope to someday have an excuse to have my hair and makeup done by her again because she really is the cream of the crop in the beauty industry.
Ashley is the sweetest and her work is amazing. Her and her team did my bridal party and I's hair and makeup for our wedding and they did an awesome job. Hair and makeup lasted all night. Highly Recommend.
Ashley and her team were INCREDIBLE! They showed up on time, brought an extra stylist with them, and had my bridesmaids moving through hair and make up with ease throughout the morning. My girls are naturally beautiful, but each one of them were stunning after leaving the chair! My mom and MIL also looked absolutely gorgeous! As the bride, Ashley spent most of her time with me and I was stunned at how amazing my hair and make up turned out. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!! Thank you Ashley and Wink team!
We hired Wink Inspired Beauty for our March 7, 2021 wedding in Uptown Charlotte. Ashley and her team were awesome to work with from start to finish! My bridal trial was a great time to get to know Ashley and decide on my hair/makeup for the big day.
Ashley and her team came to our hotel suite to get myself, bridal party and mothers of the bride/groom all glammed up before the wedding. They did such an amazing job and made the day of getting ready so fun. We would highly recommend hiring Wink for your upcoming wedding!
Ashley is phenomenal at what she does and has a great team around her! We had a small bridal party but she and two ladies from her team came and were so patient with us--it would have been easy to rush through and they definitely didn't. They were even extra patient with one of the moms who was unsure of what she wanted.
If you have a trial with her (which I'd 100% recommend), know that your actual day of look is even more perfect. My makeup was absolutely flawless and stayed in place all night long. It was a solid 12 hours and you'd never have known. Ashley isn't using cheap drugstore products that look good for 5 minutes, so know that when you are looking around and make sure you consider the quality of makeup. And you won't leave that chair until everything is perfect and you're happy--that says so much. Thank you Ashley and Wink! You all were fantastic!
Ashley is the BEST!! ! She did my on-site bridal trial on my micro-ceremony day. Not only was she super accommodating, sweet & gorgeous, she does some AMAZING hair & makeup! I showed her a couple pics and off she went!
I am sooo looking forward to having her & team back for my Wedding Part 2 next year! xoxo

Ashley is AMAZING!!! So easy to work with, so flexible, listened to what I wanted (and I didn't really know at first), and delivered beautiful results along with her team! Ashley is so fun, like getting ready with a girlfriend! She did my hair and make up for a trial, my bridals, a boudoir shoot, and the wedding day, all were slightly different and equally high quality! Highly recommend!
I booked Wink for my destination wedding that was scheduled in August. I live in Florida so was nervous scheduling hair and makeup with a company I knew only a little about. However, Ashley was responsive, professional and very knowledgeable every step of the way. She put me at ease immediately, which every bride knows is important. Due to the restrictions and uncertainties of Covid-19 we were forced to cancel (and elope). Again Ashley was supportive and extremely flexible. She handled the cancellation better than we even imagined! I would recommend her and Wink Inspired Beauty 100%.
Ashley and her team are the absolutely amazing. Even with a pandemic going on, she was always punctual in responding and making sure I had everything I needed. My trial was was amazing and she made my wedding hair and makeup even better so I could look and feel my absolute best. She is so personal and really gets to know her brides and clients. She followed all protocols that go with COVID-19 and making sure that me and my family as well as her team we’re completely safe. When we get to reschedule our reception, I will definitely be asking Wink Inspired Beauty to come back. Everyone commented on how great we all looked and I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist for my big day!

The Wink team set the tone for our wedding day, since they were the first to arrive and had everyone's hair and lashes perfect and ready to go right on time! These ladies are absolute artists at their work and so fun to be around. Ashley, from Wink, and I had been in dialogue for months leading up to the wedding. I was always so impressed by her background previously working for Chanel, and was thrilled to hear she would be there on the actual day to do my bridal hair and makeup herself!! Right before leaving, Ashley gave me a gift of my own brush set, the fresh brushes she used that day on me, to keep as a wedding present. I am still caught up thinking about how sweet she and her entire team are. Love these ladies!! Our makeup and hair lasted all day and throughout the rainy afternoon and dancing through the night. So happy Wink was part of our wedding day.
The ladies at Wink are phenomenal!! They did my hair and makeup for a boudoir shoot, my bridal portraits, and the wedding day itself!
They do a great job capturing the look you're going for. Ashley is the absolute best!! I adore her! I showed her a picture of the hair I wanted on Pinterest, showed her my hair accessory, and she worked her magic to make it happen. Usually, my hair doesn't hold curls, but she did some kind of wizardry to make my curls last ALL DAY! My hair looked about as good at the end of the day as it did when she first did it (same with my makeup).
Also, big plus-- they travel to you! So you don't have to worry about riding in your car and messing up your hair or anything.
I had a huge bridal party (15 all together) and they did SO well! Everyone loved them and looked amazing!! I couldn’t be happier with my decision and I had a picky group of girls when it comes to hair and makeup! Pricing was VERY reasonable!
Ashley and her team were absolutely incredible! They made my bridesmaids and I feel absolutely beautiful. Not only were they quick and efficient, but they provided quality service and were very thorough in the process. I will definitely being using Wink again for other occasions! :)
I had my first trial run with Ashley a week ago and she did AMAZING on my makeup! Very professional and full of personality. We never stopped talking the entire time (until I had a coughing attack lol). The full face lasted all day even walking around the blistering hot park where my fiance and I took our engagement pictures at. Prior I had never had airbrush foundation and so she insisted we use that technique since I haven't used it before and it came out flawless!
Wink Inspired Beauty has been by far the best hair and makeup team I have had to do my hair and makeup. Over the years, I’ve been in multiple weddings and these ladies know their stuff. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and they were efficient and patient while working to make everyone feel confident and elegant. I wish I could have Ashley do my hair and makeup daily!
Can I just say WOW...like really, WOW!!!! If you're looking for someone to kill your hair and makeup for your special day, then look no further! If I could give Wink 10 stars, I would! Ashley and her amazing Wink team did such a fabulous job doing hair and makeup for myself, my 9 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, and 2 Moms. My girls said they've never had their hair and makeup done so perfectly, for such a little cost! We didn't feel like we were just some bridal party or just another client; you could tell that they truly wanted you to be the most beautiful you and took the time to listen to what you wanted. Ashley and her team were punctual, professional, and were seriously sooo much fun to get ready with! Not only did all of our guests compliment my bridal party's hair and makeup but compliments have seriously FLOODED our social media timeline from the pictures that we have posted. If you want to ball on a budget and want your ladies to look flawless on your big day, please book this wonderful woman - I PROMISE you won't regret it!!!
We had Ashley and her team on site for our wedding in April and they far exceeded our expectations! They were flexible and accommodating, came prepared for anything that might have changed throughout the day and everything turned out perfectly! Highly recommend!
I searched high and low for the right hair and makeup artist, and I am so happy to have landed on Ashley and Wink. Ashley took her time in my trial and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Her communication was always quick and clear. On the da of her team ensured my entire wedding party was taken care of and were happy with their makeup. A plus: Ashley and her team were so fun to work with -- they all had a great sense of humor and made getting ready so fun. I would recommend her again and again!

I met Ashley at a bridal show and she was such a sweetheart! I set up a trial with her and was so happy with the experience. She listened to what I was looking for, took detailed notes and was open to feedback. I showed her inspiration photos and she definitely delivered on what I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable and I wasn't afraid to let her know what I liked and didn't like because she made it clear that she wanted me to be happy. That's really important because when it comes to such an intimate service, you have to feel like you can be honest without hurting their feelings and Ashley absolutely made me feel like I could tell her the truth. Her only goal was for me to be happy and that itself made me happy. After looking at the photos from my trial for a few weeks, I decided to change my hair style. I let Ashley know and she said it wouldn't be a problem. I lived across the country so I couldn't do another trial but I was confident that Ashley would be able to style my hair perfectly. On my wedding day, she and her team arrived and I immediately felt at ease. I was expecting to be nervous and anxious but they made the process fun and relaxing. My hair came out perfectly and my makeup was beautiful. My bridal party also looked beautiful. And best of all, we were ready ON TIME!!! Thank you Ashley for making me the most beautiful bride!
Ashley was amazing to work with. I met with her for a trial and had one idea for my look but by the wedding day had decided on something completely different. She worked with me and was even careful to ensure we both were interpreting the same ideas from pictures I brought and requests I had. She was calm, comforting and funny amidst the chaos of the day. My look was flawless and my hair and makeup did not budge the entire night. I cried through most of the ceremony and toasts and never once needed a touch up. I received countless compliments on my look and was told that my skin was glowing the entire night. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs someone reliable, experienced and extremely talented!
I can't say enough about Ashley! She is incredibly talented and an absolute joy to be around. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding in Banner Elk, NC. I have fair skin and freckles so I was worried that my makeup would be "too much." However, Ashley listened to ALL of my concerns and wishes and gave me exactly what I wanted. She is also adorable and so fun to have around! I would highly suggest using her for any of your hair and makeup needs!!!
