Winn Homestead Events

After deciding to postpone our wedding in 2020, we were finally able to have our day on 8.21.2021 at Winn Homestead. Everything was perfect. We were able to re-schedule our day with Winn Homestead with no issues, they were very accommodating with all the changes due to Covid. The staff at the Homestead were professional, helpful, and welcoming during our time. The new 3D modeling was super helpful when putting the final touches on the whole venue set-up. The staff had all our ceremony and reception seating set -up for us the day of, making decorating easy the morning of the wedding. The venue also has a great variety of wedding decorations for use. The staff were readily available when needed for transportation or any questions we had. Everything about this venue was perfect and beautiful from the bridal cottage to the new bridge and the gorgeous landscape. Highly recommend Winn Homestead very flexible wedding venue.

Winn Homestead venue and staff are the best! We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding on the north lawn of the barn for approx. 60 people with catering by "Merlyn's Catering" of LaGrande. The entire evening was magical. Winn Homestead provided the tables and chairs and tablecloths and tubs for the ice water we brought, for the 95 degree late afternoon event. The grooms cabin A.C. unit saved the flower centerpieces until time for dinner and provided much needed relief for the "older folks" waiting around. The porta cooler we rented from Sun Rentals in Walla Walla was a lifesaver and Winn Homestead staff were more than accommodating to hook up the cooler to water and placed it in the best position to move the air around the 10 tables of guests. The grounds were groomed impeccably, the lawn and trees and flowers were the deepest green and quite beautiful giving the entire evening the feel of dining in a most peaceful garden setting. We were surrounded by such beauty that the smoke from the forest fires was not even noticeable during our event. One of our guests commented to me how happy she was to be able to come back the next day for the wedding as she didn't want to leave the venue that evening. In the world of daily stress we live in Winn Homestead provided a respite for the soul and gave us opportunity to truly celebrate the love of our son and his beautiful bride. I highly recommend Winn Homestead Events.

This was such an amazing place to get married! Everyone worked so hard to make our day special - and it was! Kendra is so accommodating and flexible, and she strives to make sure that the bride and groom are happy. We loved the barn and are so grateful for everything the staff did for us!!

Winn Homestead is a beautiful venue. The staff is very friendly as well as very professional. They worked hard 24/7 the day of our wedding to keep guests comfortable and keep the day running smoothly. I am so extremely happy we got married here. I heard from a lot of our guests that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they’ve been to and we couldn’t have done it without the wonderful Winn team, and of course Lincoln! Please consider Winn Homestead as your wedding venue you won’t be disappointed!

This was the best venue to get married in! It was so pretty and well kept! The management team was super helpful and professional. I couldn't have wished for a better place to be married at!

This venue is absolutely beautiful and a perfect place for any wedding. Kendra and family/team were so helpful and stayed in contact throughout our whole planning process. Wedding day was perfect. We were able to get rides on a golf cart as needed for guests with mobility issues as well as for the wedding party to get back to the bridal cabin. I highly recommend this venue. The barn is so gorgeous. I love this place so much. I hope we get to go out there again.

Hands down the most beautiful wedding venue within 1.5 hours of Tri-Cities! Kendra and her team were so so amazing to us. Kendra was very helpful in every aspect of our wedding planning! She uses an online 3-D model that allowed us to virtually set up all of the tables, decor and much more so that come wedding day everyone is on the same page about where everything should be placed! My girls and I were offered golf cart rides from the BEAUTIFUL bridal cottage to the ceremony site! I was very very happy with everything about this venue! You can just see all the love and hard work that is put into the homestead, and their passion to keep it as preserved and as historical as possible is amazing!! The homestead is very affordable, and just beautiful! ❤️ So many amazing photo opportunities too! I could literally keep going and write a book about this place!! Definitely worth checking out 😊 I obviously can’t say AMAZING enough!!!!

I have always wanted to get married at the Winn Barn! Kendra and family were so helpful, kinda, informative, and the whole family was there for us all day for any needs. The place was in so taken care of and ready, the barns drop dead gorgeous, the flowers, the bridge. So many wonderful areas for photos! Highly recommend!!

As mother of the bride I can say that this place was absolutely amazing! Kendra reassured me through all the Covid uncertainties and kept us up to date with all the current info. We looked at a couple other places but there was nothing that compared to it. A lot of that had to do with the owners themselves. They went above and beyond to make the wedding exceptional. Very good communication! Beautiful grounds and venue were icing on the cake. Everything was perfect!

Winn Homestead was an amazing place for our daughter’s wedding. Preston and Arlene Winn were so helpful, available, and resourceful through the process. The barn and surrounding grounds are stunning - the pictures turned out gorgeous! The use of the bridal house and groom’s cottage worked out perfect, and the help the Winn’s provide in set up/take down/parking etc. made the process go so smoothly. We felt like we got so much more at Winn Homestead for our money than anywhere else we looked into and couldn’t recommend them any higher. We felt blessed that Preston and Arlene opened up their family property to make such a special and gorgeous venue for others to enjoy and that we were able to have such a special day at such a special place. Thank you Winn’s!

Winn Homestead did an amazing job hosting our wedding this last spring. The owners were around and available throughout the entire wedding to help with any questions that came up. The grounds were beautifully cared for and the lights in the barn made for a beautiful atmosphere.

I normally don't leave reviews but I wish there had been more on this venue before I chose it and maybe I would have changed my mind. The venue was beautiful but as mentioned in the other comments, the owners are something else. The initial meeting was great, the husband and wife duo seemed so helpful and accomadating. But that changed once the wedding day came around. The wife's snarky comments got old, quick. Every time we'd mention an idea for decorating she acted as though because it hadn't been done there before, it was out of the question. She was extremely rude and condescending to my family who helped set up. We completely understood that this is an old barn and were very respectful of the property but we were still watched like a hawk. She was around throughout the entire wedding. I had a group of people helping with the cleanup and as I walked through, on my way to our send off, the wife pointed out some trash that hadn't been picked up yet and said "you can pick that up". While I have no problem cleaning up, there was already a big group of people cleaning and none of whom were wearing a wedding dress. She told my bridesmaids that our dressing room hadn't been cleaned yet, during the reception. So they left their dinner to go clean instead of enjoying our wedding. Once everything was packed up she told my mother that was the cleanest anyone had left the place. Funny. Again it's a beautiful venue, so if you can put up with the micromanaging then it might be for you. I personally wish I would have kept looking, there are similar places where the owners have a little more professionalism.

The venue itself is beautiful! Although, the husband and wife who own it are another story. We felt very rushed as they began cleaning/throwing our things away before our event was over. They accused our guests of doing things they didn't do and overall left our wedding on a really poor note. I would never recommend the venue just because of these things. Our guests have all told us these same exact things when talking about the wedding. It makes me sad to think that that's how our wedding will be remembered by us and all our friends and family. I recommend finding somewhere that is not only stunning but has owners who truly want to be there and help.

The venue is absolutely beautiful. The barn is to die for. This venue is owned by husband and wife. The husband was very accommodating and easy to deal with. The wife however was rude. Making snarky comments during set up and take down. We paid to have a crew of people help do garbage and move tables and chairs. Garbage wasn't picked up and guests had to move the tables. The grounds are hard for the elderly to walk on. It's very uneven and hilly. This venue made my pictures stunning, but the overall experience with this venue made the whole wedding day experience not so amazing.
