Greg has a great website with a music portal that allows you to look up songs and add them to lists (special dances, must play, DO NOT PLAY). The day of the wedding was perfect and everything went smoothly They were my favorite vendors to work with, and I couldn't recommend their services more.

His website is pretty user friendly for selecting music (could use some updating to improve searching/selecting music for lists, but still easy to navigate). We were able to pick just about every song we wanted to hear at our wedding, and Greg did a great job executing it that night. He helped create a fun atmosphere that kept guests engaged. If we ever had another event we would need a DJ in that area, we would absolutely try to hire Greg. We highly recommend him!

When my wife and I made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding originally, Greg assured us that everything was going to work out and helped us nail down a new date. When we were forced to postpone a second time, Greg remained a strong voice of assurance that, whatever it took, we were going to have the wedding of our dreams. We met Jannelle shortly after booking Greg and she was an outstanding addition to an already top-tier operation. Janelle created a comprehensive schedule that served as the framework to keep the train on the tracks day-of in addition to helping iron out details that we hadn't even thought of. I simply can't understate the level of professionalism. Greg had our playlist on, at least, one redundant hard-drive to make absolutely sure none of our specially requested songs were omitted from the evening. Jannelle is not only a master at bustling wedding dresses but when one of the bustle hoops on my wife's dress broke, Jannelle had a sewing kit on-hand and fixed it like magic. A lot of things changed over the, roughly, two years of planning finally leading up to the big day. However, no matter how crazy things got, Greg and Jannelle were always there to support us and remind us that they were going to make sure we had the best wedding ever. I noticed Jannelle handing out "Tums" to those who had a little too much fun at the rehearsal dinner the night before! She also brought her own needle and thread to make any necessary last minute repairs. Jannelle is so sweet and dainty but has a powerful mighty roar when it comes to making things run smoothly. I can't thank them enough for creating a magical evening for me, my husband, family, and friends.

many people are on the dance floor, and I hated having the responsibility of choosing and possibly getting a dud. So of course, I assigned the task to my fiance! However, I really can say we made the best choice. I put together a comprehensive playlist of things I wanted and things I didn't (no line dances for us!) and Greg did an excellent job of starting the dancing off with the right music, and keeping the party going. I also loved that after meeting him, he really got the vibe of the kind of event we were going for. He didn't play the music too loud for our neighborhood party, and really focused on making things romantic where we wanted them to be. I'm already recommending him to my engaged friends, and hope to see him at more weddings I attend soon!

He was much more prepared for planning our wedding than we were from the first contact and he never let us down through the months leading up to November 2. I appreciated so much of what Greg offered and I'm so glad we chose Winston Salem Wedding DJ as our DJ. The night wouldn't have been half as good with some other guy spinning the disks.

Greg will help organize everything from the ceremony to the reception. He follows the song selection and makes sure everything is up to par. We were very specific with our playlist and he couldn’t have done a better job. He worked perfectly with the other vendors and made sure the night was flawless. Greg is very personable and was extremely prepared for the wedding day. By the time we got to the rehearsal, you could tell he had studied our timeline and knew every detail. My parents were impressed with how Greg would come around to cue people before their speech/introduction/etc. Greg was everywhere and yet not seen at the same time; something that we found impressive and that you can tell he strives for. He did a phenomenal job at keeping things going with the timeline while also slowing things down to make sure nothing felt rushed. As DJ, Greg did a great job reading the crowd and always kept the dance floor full and ensured everyone was having a great time. We had so much fun on our wedding day and part of it would not have been possible without Greg's excellent work. He has been in the industry a long time and his experience really shows and we would highly recommend him.

The bride and groom had requested certain songs for the wedding and the reception, and Greg took care of the rest. At no point was music being played with no one dancing. There were many dances that a partner wasn't needed, so everyone just got up and danced, over and over again. He took into account the age groups and types of people attending to fill in with additional songs. No wedding planner was needed, as he controlled everything, and knew when to toss the bouquet and garter, cut the cake etc. When I first looked at the great reviews, I was thinking that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is But, those awesome reviews were all accurate! Greg was amazing, friendly, easy to work with, and so much more than a DJ. I cannot recommend him enough!

He'll meet with you as much as you want the months leading up to the wedding to help you plan, he'll meet you at the rehearsal to nail down the timing, and he'll be coordinate on the wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly in terms of timing. He was on top of everything from our first meeting. 7-8 months out, he showed up at our first meeting more prepared that us, with ideas and plans we had not considered or thought of. He knows almost every venue in town, and knows what works and doesn't. When it comes to sound and music, Greg knows what he's doing - it's not just his side hobby, it's his profession! He has his own equipment and knows how to set it up perfectly, so that the music on the dance floor is at the perfect volume and clarity. When it comes to song selection, you can't make up for the experience he has. He knows what to play to get people dancing and mixes between songs flawlessly. - our dance floor was packed literally the entire night! If you have a unique or cultural influences to your wedding, Greg will learn all about them to make your night special. We had a Jewish wedding, and Greg made sure to learn and understand the unique cultural details of our ceremony and reception so that it ran perfectly. Greg is more than a DJ, he becomes a friend through the wedding planning process. You will not find a more dedicated, hard-working, and caring person to be there to help run and coordinate your wedding on your big day! Three months before our wedding, our original venue canceled on us after months of planning, so other than having a DJ and Photographer lined up, we were back at square one, trying to find a venue with 3 months notice for a Labor Day Weekend wedding. We emailed Greg to let him know and he immediately responded with recommendations and willingness to reach out to venues he knows to help us. We should have amended our contract with him, because our new venue meant he had to bring and set up A LOT more his own equipment. His response to that was, "Don’t worry about the date or what equipment I provide, you’re covered in every aspect there with me. I promise you’re in good hands."... And that could not be more true, you're are in GREAT hands with him. To wrap all of this up, you can stop looking for DJs now, you found the right guy when you clicked on this this page.
