Greg (DJ) & Jannelle (Coordinator) are the perfect pair! They are experienced, friendly, professional, and SO helpful throughout the entire planning process. They both have wonderful willing-to-help attitudes and stellar recommendations to make the day perfect. Jannelle kept me organized and didn't let me forget any of the details. I had ZERO stress on my wedding day and had so much fun with my wedding party and I know this was partly because I trusted this pair SO much. Greg played excellent music that all my guests enjoyed dancing to he even provided lights and a fog machine. People loved it! It rained before my ceremony and they were both so calm and helpful in coming up with alternate ideas to keep the vision what I wanted. Luckily we didn't have to make any last minute changes. Greg (DJ) and Jannelle (Coordinator) are the best! I booked their services a year and a half before my wedding Oct 15, 2022, and they both maintained contact consistently over the entire time. Some vendors I had very little contact with between booking and the day of the actual wedding, but I emailed with Greg & Jannelle often as they checked up on my progress and gave helpful advice, and we met in person a few times to go through timelines and iron out various details. Greg has a great website with a music portal that allows you to look up songs and add them to lists (special dances, must play, DO NOT PLAY). The day of the wedding was perfect and everything went smoothly They were my favorite vendors to work with, and I couldn't recommend their services more.

Greg was amazing from start to finish. Greg was always very professional, on time, had great suggestions and input with planning. I never had to worry about anything music/ sound related as I knew it was in good hands. He even set up lighting to help with venue decoration.

Greg was absolutely fantastic to work with. We knew what we absolutely wanted and what we didn’t have much an opinion on and he delivered beautifully. Greg is very well organized and EXCEPTIONALLY responsive. No more than an hour would lapse between communication from me and his response. We married at the beach but wanted to support a local vendor so Greg agreed to travel down to Calabash! He visited the venue twice before our rehearsal and communicated with the venue owners. He relayed pertinent information in a timely manner. You would benefit greatly by hiring Greg.

Greg is extremely professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and creative. He brings years of experience to the table, which helped our rehearsal and actual wedding go off without a hitch. He offered very helpful suggestions throughout the planning process, showing how much he cared to make sure our day was perfect. His website is pretty user friendly for selecting music (could use some updating to improve searching/selecting music for lists, but still easy to navigate). We were able to pick just about every song we wanted to hear at our wedding, and Greg did a great job executing it that night. He helped create a fun atmosphere that kept guests engaged. If we ever had another event we would need a DJ in that area, we would absolutely try to hire Greg. We highly recommend him!

One word, amazing! After postponing our wedding over a year-and-a-half due to COVID, we just had the most amazing wedding either of us could have ever imagined and we simply could not have pulled it off without the unwavering passion and dedication of Greg and Jannelle. When my wife and I made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding originally, Greg assured us that everything was going to work out and helped us nail down a new date. When we were forced to postpone a second time, Greg remained a strong voice of assurance that, whatever it took, we were going to have the wedding of our dreams. We met Jannelle shortly after booking Greg and she was an outstanding addition to an already top-tier operation. Janelle created a comprehensive schedule that served as the framework to keep the train on the tracks day-of in addition to helping iron out details that we hadn't even thought of. I simply can't understate the level of professionalism. Greg had our playlist on, at least, one redundant hard-drive to make absolutely sure none of our specially requested songs were omitted from the evening. Jannelle is not only a master at bustling wedding dresses but when one of the bustle hoops on my wife's dress broke, Jannelle had a sewing kit on-hand and fixed it like magic. A lot of things changed over the, roughly, two years of planning finally leading up to the big day. However, no matter how crazy things got, Greg and Jannelle were always there to support us and remind us that they were going to make sure we had the best wedding ever. We are so grateful that we chose the dynamic duo of Greg and Jannelle for our wedding! From the initial planning process to the last song of the wedding night, they were so attentive, fun, and professional. Greg was so accommodating to all of our music choices, even adding in songs that my son had edited. I noticed Jannelle handing out "Tums" to those who had a little too much fun at the rehearsal dinner the night before! She also brought her own needle and thread to make any necessary last minute repairs. Jannelle is so sweet and dainty but has a powerful mighty roar when it comes to making things run smoothly. I can't thank them enough for creating a magical evening for me, my husband, family, and friends.

Greg was an excellent DJ! When I started the wedding planning process, searching for the music was one of the things I was dreading most because so much of a wedding rides on how many people are on the dance floor, and I hated having the responsibility of choosing and possibly getting a dud. So of course, I assigned the task to my fiance! However, I really can say we made the best choice. I put together a comprehensive playlist of things I wanted and things I didn't (no line dances for us!) and Greg did an excellent job of starting the dancing off with the right music, and keeping the party going. I also loved that after meeting him, he really got the vibe of the kind of event we were going for. He didn't play the music too loud for our neighborhood party, and really focused on making things romantic where we wanted them to be. I'm already recommending him to my engaged friends, and hope to see him at more weddings I attend soon!

Greg and Janelle helped to make me and my husband's special day so much more special! They kept us on track during all of the planning and when another vendor was disappointing, they filled in where they could and made sure we never had to stress on the day of our wedding. I found Greg last year in 2018. After talking to him he was able to help me out for my wedding day that was 06-16-18. I couldn’t have chosen a better person to DJ my wedding. Not only was he able to DJ, but he also offers to help coordinate weddings. He’d even help me out with anything wedding relating and gives great advice. He’d always call every once and a while to check on me and to ask for my ideas and would help give me the run down. He’s supper easy to work with and is a super nice guy. Greg was absolutely awesome! He's a pro in every way. Not only did he "direct" everyone to their right places at exactly the right time during the ceremony, but he also played a fantastic music set that kept everyone dancing till the end of the reception. In addition Greg took a special request from me and was able to provide the instrumental version of a song as well as the microphones (on stands,) for us to sing a special tribute to the bride and groom! We were very specific with our playlist and he couldn’t have done a better job. He worked perfectly with the other vendors and made sure the night was flawless. Greg went above and beyond to help make our special day go as smoothly as possible. He was not only our DJ, but also acted as our day of coordinator. He was easy to work with, very professional, and always responded quickly whenever we had questions. We met in person with Greg several times before the wedding (once at a coffee shop and once at the venue) and he was more than willing to meet in person or hop on the phone whenever we needed him. Greg is very personable and was extremely prepared for the wedding day. By the time we got to the rehearsal, you could tell he had studied our timeline and knew every detail. My parents were impressed with how Greg would come around to cue people before their speech/introduction/etc. Greg was everywhere and yet not seen at the same time; something that we found impressive and that you can tell he strives for. We had so much fun on our wedding day and part of it would not have been possible without Greg's excellent work. Greg provides much more than just music for your reception, he helped us plan our wedding from the arrival of our guests to the big sendoff. Every step of the way, he was there to guide us, the wedding party, and the guests where they needed to be to keep things running smoothly. He is very professional and really wanted us to have a great event. We were very lucky and thankful to have him at our service, as he relieved a lot of the pressure from me, my wife, and our family on the big day.

Right from the start we knew Greg was the one. Amazingly professional, we were given right off the start, an extremely well made and planned out explanation of what we would be expecting and who Greg was. This won us over very quick. Throughout the process of talking/emails and phone calls Greg was there. He was completely on top of everything and was helping at ever angle he could. He coordinated with everyone who needed it. He was well planned out and always on time. He made sure that we had every detail planned out to the T so that there would be no hick-ups the day of. And there certainly wasn't! This was truly the best wedding and reception ever! It was obvious that Greg was experienced and enjoyed being the DJ and more. And the 'more' was the help provided during the months prior to the big day, the rehearsal, and the entire wedding day from start to finish. The bride and groom had requested certain songs for the wedding and the reception, and Greg took care of the rest. At no point was music being played with no one dancing. There were many dances that a partner wasn't needed, so everyone just got up and danced, over and over again. He took into account the age groups and types of people attending to fill in with additional songs. No wedding planner was needed, as he controlled everything, and knew when to toss the bouquet and garter, cut the cake etc. When I first looked at the great reviews, I was thinking that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is But, those awesome reviews were all accurate! Greg was amazing, friendly, easy to work with, and so much more than a DJ. I cannot recommend him enough!

Greg is so much more than a "DJ" - he is what every other wedding DJ should strive to be! Greg has decades of experience and is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of running a wedding. He has seen it all and will tell you what works and doesn't work. With Greg, you do not need a wedding planner the day of to run the show, he's got you covered. He'll meet with you as much as you want the months leading up to the wedding to help you plan, he'll meet you at the rehearsal to nail down the timing, and he'll be coordinate on the wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly in terms of timing. He was on top of everything from our first meeting. 7-8 months out, he showed up at our first meeting more prepared that us, with ideas and plans we had not considered or thought of. He knows almost every venue in town, and knows what works and doesn't. When it comes to sound and music, Greg knows what he's doing - it's not just his side hobby, it's his profession! He has his own equipment and knows how to set it up perfectly, so that the music on the dance floor is at the perfect volume and clarity. When it comes to song selection, you can't make up for the experience he has. He knows what to play to get people dancing and mixes between songs flawlessly. - our dance floor was packed literally the entire night! If you have a unique or cultural influences to your wedding, Greg will learn all about them to make your night special. We had a Jewish wedding, and Greg made sure to learn and understand the unique cultural details of our ceremony and reception so that it ran perfectly. Greg is more than a DJ, he becomes a friend through the wedding planning process. You will not find a more dedicated, hard-working, and caring person to be there to help run and coordinate your wedding on your big day! Three months before our wedding, our original venue canceled on us after months of planning, so other than having a DJ and Photographer lined up, we were back at square one, trying to find a venue with 3 months notice for a Labor Day Weekend wedding. We emailed Greg to let him know and he immediately responded with recommendations and willingness to reach out to venues he knows to help us. We should have amended our contract with him, because our new venue meant he had to bring and set up A LOT more his own equipment. His response to that was, "Don’t worry about the date or what equipment I provide, you’re covered in every aspect there with me. I promise you’re in good hands."... And that could not be more true, you're are in GREAT hands with him. To wrap all of this up, you can stop looking for DJs now, you found the right guy when you clicked on this this page. Greg was awesome! He answered a billion questions I had about weddings and the flow of the ceremony, helped us pick songs for the “special” moments, coordinated the entire evening and of course played some awesome music along the way. You guys.....I don’t think it’s possible to find a better man to DJ at your wedding. Greg not only helped coordinate the day of, he showed up at rehearsal to make sure we felt completely comfortable with the music for the ceremony. After a recommendation from our reception venue, we decided to get in touch with Greg to see if he was worth all of the hype and was actually as good as the reviews said. We were so incredibly blown away by everything. He tailored our reception to fit what we wanted to do, even if it was a little bit out of order compared to traditional receptions. Even so much as to adjusting things the week of the wedding when we decided not to do the garter and bouquet tosses so we could have more time to dance with our friends and family. He met with the two of us to talk through timelines and formalities, and has a great website where you can specify exactly what songs you do and don’t want played at the reception. He has everything specified down to a level of detail I had honestly never considered! When we started getting tight on timing, he made sure to let me know so we could move up the cake cutting a few minutes. He was great with getting people on the dance floor and I would have loved to have stayed out there hours longer than we did! I would highly recommend Greg if you want a personalized, and highly tailored reception to fit you and your needs, and not just someone who plays the typical wedding music from an iPod!

Greg was fantastic! We cannot say enough great things about him. We have received so many wonderful comments about the job he did at our wedding reception. He was great to work with while planning the wedding, and exceeded our expectations on wedding day. He is extremely flexible and wants to serve the client to the best of his ability. Our wedding was on December 16th and we couldn't have picked a better DJ. Greg was available day or night answering any questions that popped in my head. His pricing was unreal and he did a fantastic job. He met us at our venue weeks ahead of time to go over location for set up. He played our music for both the ceremony and reception and we had multiple compliments all night. Our wedding was at 6pm and both my husband and I, both being time efficient, stressed that we were going to be ready to start walking down at 6. This could not have happened if it wasn't for Greg. He had us all lined up before 6 and our ceremony began exactly at 6! The reception was amazing and he had everyone song that we asked for and had them all played. We were so appreciative of Greg and all that he did to make our wedding a success!

Greg did a great job and was such a big help on the day of the wedding. My grandmother was so concerned I didn't have a day-of coordinator but I didn't need one because I had Greg. He made sure the groomsmen and bridesmaids were in place and even wrangled the flower girl. Everything ran smoothly and and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

Greg is an amazing DJ/MC. The atmosphere was perfect during dinner and the dance floor was packed from after the cake cutting to when the lights came on. He was very responsive and accommodating of special requests, even at the last minute, and his attention to detail was superb. Strongest recommendation for any wedding reception.

I could not recommend anyone more highly than Greg after working with him for our wedding. He was completely engaged from start to finish, was an excellent communicator and worked to have a great understanding of our (and especially my now-wife's) vision for the day. He was flexible with weather, drove to the venue on Friday to be a part of rehearsal, and kept everything in order on the big day. Greg wasn't just a vendor -- He was an active organizer and partner who played a huge role in our big day. You will be in great hands, and we will suggest him to anyone who asks.

Greg was hands down the best decision I made for my wedding. He made it so stress free because he knew what he was doing and with all the planning. He knew what to anticipate and what questions to ask ahead of time so that I wasn't having to trouble shoot on the day of. He went above and beyond his role in many ways including fumigating the ceremony site for mosquitoes! He even came to the rehearsal which made the ceremony flow so smoothly with everyone already on the same page. He helped my wedding party know when to walk, coaxed my flower girls down the aisle, etc. My fiancé is Vietnamese so it was very important to us to incorporate both cultures. Greg had his research started on Vietnamese weddings before our first consultation meeting. He wouldn't even eat at the rehearsal dinner until he'd gone around to all the Vietnamese family members to be coached on how to correctly pronounce their names. When I first met with Greg I got an overwhelming sense that he knew what he was doing with weddings and he carried through 100%.

Greg did an awesome job as DJ for my daughter's wedding. He is professional and knowledgeable, and helped make the entire experience much more relaxed for all of us. He did a great job leading us through song selections, and assisting with making it the wedding of my daughter's dreams. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Greg was the absolute best. If you are looking for an affordable DJ that knows what he's doing, he's your man. He was so easy to work with and very understanding. He is the perfect "event coordinator". I did not hire a wedding coordinator or director because my church provided one at their location but I was in a bit of a panic because I needed someone who knew what they were doing at the reception. I'd never been married before, what did I know. I show up as a guest to weddings for the food and booze (and to support and love my friends!) so Greg was perfect. He lined everything out, made sure I was okay with it, and all I had to do was pick my music. He seriously made it so easy. Pick him, you will not be disappointed, I promise.

This man will go ABOVE & BEYOND your DJ expectations. I found Greg by searching through the knot & reading everyone's reviews (probably the exact thing you are trying to figure out right now if you're readying this) Look no further! I decided to reach out based on the reviews I read and Greg was very prompt to respond. We started with a phone call & he emailed me out a packet of info about himself. Once we secured the date he gave us access to the most amazing/helpful/organized website I've ever seen pertaining to wedding music selection. Who honestly thinks about choosing a song to cut their cake to? To see everything laid out in front of you makes a daunting task look easy. For months we worked on our song selections, and about 4 months before our wedding Greg met us at our venue (4 hours away from his home) just to meet us and get a feel for the space. He obviously did not have to do this, but it was SO nice to meet him and know who we would be working with on the day of our wedding. But this wouldn't be the only time he did more than was asked of him. We had asked my little sister to marry us, who had no clue how to run a ceremony, so when we decided to have Greg play the music for that part of the wedding he offered to show up for the rehearsal & helped outline & suggest how to make everything flow. This took all of the stress off of us. On many occasions he offered to do anything he could to help me & was always available via email or phone call. I can not recommend him enough! I even had wedding guests offering to leave a review because he was just that accommodating. On the day of our wedding everything went more than smooth, in large part thanks to him. We can not thank Greg enough!!!

Greg took an active role in planning our reception and was very organized from the first time we talked with him. We didn't realize how many different things needed to happen to make our reception enjoyable for us and our guests, but Greg had it planned out. We LOVED Greg! He was well prepared for every meeting we had prior to the wedding and did a fantastic job on the wedding day! We had a morning wedding and he did a great job of introducing the bridal party, the first dances, and the cake cutting. But he also did a wonderful job of sitting back and allowing us to enjoy the music and each other's company. Greg was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend him!

Greg was fun, friendly, communicative, and professional from beginning to end. His services as DJ and emcee of the reception are comprehensive and affordable. If you're lucky enough to have a wedding date where he's available, it's a no-brainer.

Greg is absolutely amazing and we are so happy we chose him as our DJ! He is incredibly kind and helpful and took over with a number of things about the wedding that had been really stressing me out. He took our small, family oriented reception and made it into a party where everyone felt included. He even bought a bubble machine so our two year old son would have a great time, and he definitely did! I can't recommend Greg highly enough, if you want the best then he's your guy!

After having some hiccups with my wedding planner, the DJ stepped in and filled his role as DJ but also as the wedding planner flawlessly. Greg was a great addition to our wedding. We booked him after a last minute cancellation and he was probably one of the best moves we made throughout the entire process. Greg was definitely a great price compared to the other DJs we looked into and came highly recommended. He was very friendly and easy to work with - very accessible and enthusiastic. We met with him several times (over the phone and in person) over the course of our wedding planning so we expected our reception to be fun and flawless. Well, we definitely got what we paid for... Our "special songs" like our first dance were correct and we were very pleased with that. However, we gave a very detailed list of our "must plays" and "do not plays" so his job should have been pretty easy for that portion but, unfortunately, those requests were not really met during our reception. Only a few of our must-plays were actually played and many songs we didn't want to hear were played. Luckily none of our guests noticed this mistake but we certainly did which was disappointing and caused us unnecessary stress on our big day. He also came to our reception with an attitude towards us, our bridal party, and our families which was pretty surprising and embarrassing for us. His microphones kept cutting out during the toasts which was frustrating (to us and him) since he had so much equipment set up. All-in-all, Greg definitely enjoys a good time and likes to throw a party. Just don't give him a specific list of what you want played or you may be disappointed. He seemed to stick to the mix or list of songs he already had in mind and didn't bother paying attention to our wants despite how many times we met and discussed this. Nice guy, very passionate about his job, but the music was definitely the most disappointing part of our day.

My husband and I are so glad we choose Greg McLeese from Winston Salem DJ to do our ceremony and reception. Everything was wonderful from the rehearsal to he day off Greg made everything perfect for us. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We loved the music choices at the reception- fun for old and young and we didn't have to give him a play list which saved us a whole lot of wasted time just genres of music. He brought the party!! My husband Brandon and I had a few basic "wants" out of our wedding reception. Number 1 on that list was that we wanted people to let their hair down and have a great time... dance, shake it, wobble, etc. With Greg's party leadership we got just that. Guests tell us they were sore the next day from dancing so much... and some that said they hadn't danced in years, but shook their moneymaker at our reception. Greg is experienced and knows his music. The wedding and reception (which he did both) flowed like clockwork. Energized and creative, he was great to work with! The night was amazing!!! He kept us on schedule, worked well with the staff, and we enjoyed a stress-free evening. Not only does Greg have the best equipment, he was ALWAYS available in the planning and that was wonderful! Greg did a fantastic job with the music and lighting at our reception. He is personable and has a lot of fun with his role as the DJ. I gave him very little direction with our music- basically just told him our likes and dislikes- and he absolutely hit the nail on the head. He even went out of his way to find an obscure version of our first dance song that I was dying to have but could not find on iTunes. My guests and I spent a lot of the evening on the dance floor dancing to all of the best songs! I am so thankful I found Greg and would highly recommend his services. Greg is a real professional - he was so great to work with throughout our wedding planning process and of course on the wedding day as well.
