Hiring Nathan at Winter Studios was the BEST decision we made! Nathan was the videographer for two family weddings (my son and my daughter) this summer: one in Charlottesville, VA and one in Kent Island, MD. He perfectly captured the unique beauty and feel of each wedding. Nathan is professional, calm, easy to work with, and a VERY talented videographer! Before each wedding, Nathan asked about special people, moments, details, and memories that we wanted him to capture. Those details made our videos even more perfect all because Nathan cared enough to ask and then made sure they were included. He fully captured the joy, emotion, and intimacy in the most natural way. The overall 'feel' of each video is perfect and the music he selected couldn't be better. If overall wedding budget is an issue, don't skip this treasure! Nathan's work is masterful. We would hire him again and again!

When I first got engaged I didnt think we would need or want to have a videographer. I thought pictures would be enough but man was I wrong. I am so SOOOO happy we had Winter Studios film our wedding. The work, artistry and love that goes into their videos is indescribable. Nathan and Lisa were AMAZING to work with and delivered an INCREDIBLE wedding film! From the moment I reached out to them, they were very responsive and answered all my questions. We had a planning meeting where we discussed logistics, details, and our vision we had for our film. Nathan and Lisa were such a joy to work with. They were very communicative, flexible (we had to reschedule many, many times due to COVID), and so encouraging the day of. The wedding video they put together for us was incredible, and we have been receiving so many compliments. They also helped us livestream the wedding since many guests were unable to come. In the world of COVID, our wedding plans were put on hold by state and federal mandates. Further complicating matters, we have immediate family members who are high-risk, and live on a different coast... this led to the sad, and disappointing decision to cancel. During all of these state and federal mandates, so many wedding vendors (as many have seen) tried to profit off the crisis and take more money from couples when they had to make decisions to cancel or change dates. It’s been interesting to watch businesses become greedy, to say the least. I’m writing this review for Winters, because although we ended up cancelling our wedding, a business— especially a small business— that has integrity, and doesn’t penalize those trying to celebrate a joyous event in the face of global pandemic, deserve praise and a surplus of business. So, if you are on the fence, or simply unsure of who to go with, please do yourself a solid and go with Winters. If our plans for a big wedding (we eloped) ever change, they are the first and only consideration for us!

Winter Studios was one of the vendors I was most excited about before my wedding. When I first found their website/Instagram and reviewed their past work, I was blown away. Their videos really speak for themselves...the attention to detail, storytelling, emotion they capture is so so perfect/amazing/beautiful (go look!!). I knew right away I wanted them for my wedding. Following my wedding, I received my wedding highlight film and it turned out even better than I could have ever imagined. I really can't imagine a better video. We are so so so happy with it. Also, in addition to the highlight film, they sent us the full ceremony, dances, toasts, etc. and those too were SO well done.

Where do we even begin...Nathan did our "Love Story" video for our engagement last week and we were left speechless. We were the first couple to experience this new package they're offering. Not only did he have it ready within only a few days, he captured our love for each other in a way no one else could. AMAZING! Working with them pre-wedding was amazing. They get all the necessary information (specifi shots you want, special details, etc) to make the day of a breeze! They work with you to get the shots you want as well as give you the privacy you need during the special moments with your partner. We just got our highlight video back (less than two weeks after our wedding) and we are in love at how it turned out! Highly recommended!

I'm at a loss of words for the work of Nathan and Lissa. Our wedding was the best night of our lives and Nathan and Lissa made it THAT much better. Aside from all of the wonderful memories we created that night that we will forever cherish, their wedding highlight film, which was six minutes long, came back to us three days after the wedding was over....I have never heard of this before. To top it off, it was the most beautiful video I've ever seen. The details, the smiles, the dancing...everything in the video was what we wanted and more. They also sent us the raw footage, which literally was every part of our wedding broken up into parts, but even their unedited videography skills were impeccable. My wife and I, three and a half weeks after our wedding, still watch the video every night before we go to bed and it still brings tears to our eyes. We highly recommend working with Winter Studios! Nathan was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process and fit seamlessly into our vendor team on our wedding day! The video he made was beautiful and has driven many friends and relatives to tears :) We have really enjoyed watching all the other footage he captured as well, since we got the raw footage add-on. It was well worth it and has us laughing hysterically, with all the funny dancing moments he captured of the night! Nathan was easy to talk to as we planned our wedding, he was flexible while we figured out what we wanted our day to be like, and he pulled together an amazing 5 minute video of all of our highlights. His video truly added so much more than photos can and it was so amazing to show this to my grandparents who were not able to attend the wedding. I have no words to describe the way our wedding highlight film came out. My husband and I have sat in bed and watched it over and over again and cried more and more each time. The way these two made us feel all day have given us chills. The video had everything we wanted and more - photos of us down the aisle, us dancing, our guests sitting in the ceremony, our guests dancing in the reception, and even the smaller things, such as my dad bawling his eyes out dancing with me and my husband and I reading our letters. I’ve seen my friends’ videos and have loved them, but in my opinion, none can compare to what my husband and i received. We truly were blessed with Nathan and Lissa and I’m not sure what we would’ve done without them on our wedding day. Because of them, I have the most incredibly beautiful video to look back on for the rest of our lives and remember all of the details. So much time and creativity went into our highlight video and it matched the vibe of our Wedding perfectly. Nathan was by far the best videographer we could have possibly found. When I initial came across Nathan's work, it was from reviews within a Facebook group. Immediately, I went to his Facebook page and watched several of his videos in awe and tears. When I found out he had just started, I couldn't believe it.
