throughout the process. On the day of, she even brought me food and wine while I was freshening up in the bridal room before cocktail hour. She was very responsive and was always double checking to make sure everything was right. She even helped unload are car the day before the wedding. I took off a star for a few reasons. We were told that she'd return our cake stand for us, only to have it given back to us a few days after for us to return. It sounded like the shuttle running to the WI Club and the hotel was complimentary, but it wasn't. The bar prices are kind of a rip off. However, with those three things being said, I'd still recommend the WI Club. The service and the food are great.

She is so bubbly and enthusiastic about everything wedding...which is the exact kind of person you want cheering you on throughout the wedding planning process! Kris was so communicative and gave us great advice from start to finish. She was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this venue to absolutely anyone...you won't be disappointed!

eel so special in this space! There is even an outdoor gazebo and fountain outside that makes for great photos! We worked with an event coordinator, Kris, who works for the Club. She was so amazing. She was so helpful in the months and days leading up to the wedding, as well as making sure the wedding day itself ran smoothly. She was always prompt to respond to my countless e-mails and questions. She was great at coordinating with all the vendors we hired. The food. Oh the food. You won't be disappointed! You have to use their catering and alcohol, which we found to be reasonably priced. They did allow us to bring in our own dessert and late night snacks for a small fee. They did a great job of plating the desserts onto a beautiful dessert table arrangement. The ballroom comes with so many things included, which will really save you $$. Chairs, tables, tableclothes, napkins, siilverware, glassware, tea lights and candle holders, cocktail tables, and table numbers. It was so great to not have to run out and buy these things before the wedding. They were also very helpful for setting up the decorations that we brought in for the tables. The venue offers shuttles and valet parking for a reasonable cost, which will make the day much easier for your guests. The shuttles will drive your guests to and from hotels in the downtown area. You will also get a private shuttle for bride and groom at the end of the night. A driver will take you for a drive along the lakefront before dropping you off at your hotel for the night. So romantic! You also get to be a member of the Wisconsin Club for an entire year, which is a fun perk. We enjoy going there after work for happy hours :)

She completely handled everything which was a huge load off my shoulders! she let me drop off my centerpieces and other decorations the day before the wedding and she set everything up herself with her staff and my husband and I didn't need to do a thing! She is incredibly talented and the reception looked beautiful. Not only that, but the food was amazing. I received so many compliments from my guests about how delicious the food was. The staff was incredibly respectful and professional towards my guests, whether it was serving or valet parking. Annie is amazing to work with and I would gladly work with her on any future events I might want to have! Also, for how beautiful this place is, it is really affordable for what you get! You get two rooms, the main reception area/dining room (seating 200-300), and you also get a separate room for cocktail hour which my guests LOVED. Annie also let's you go out with the manager onto the golf course for sunset photos. my husband and I loved our venue so much, we hope someone else will plan their wedding there so we can attend as guests! If you want a beautiful reception site, with lots of flexibility, talented professionals, a golf course and delicious food all at an affordable price, you can't beat the Wisconsin Club Country Club!

Honestly planning the wedding was relatively stress free because of Kris and everyone at the club. Everyone at the club was so accommodating and helpful! The food was amazing, and all of our guests raved about the food!

If you are looking for a winter venue with all the Christmas touches... this is the place for you!!! Our guests were in awe of the Club due to this being a members only club. It will be a night to remember for not only you but your guests as well.

She pays such close attention to detail and makes sure that everyone on her staff for the night gets it right. FOOD: The food was exceptional and you can tell why the Wisconsin Club takes pride in what they do. The presentation was perfect and everything was delicious. They accommodated all food allergies and requests and never made us feel bad for requesting something in particular. VENUE: The room looked spectacular and was quite the sight to behold. Kris asked for my specific opinion on how I wanted things done and delivered! The dance floor was big enough for everyone but not too big that it didn't feel full. I would recommend having your wedding there over and over again. All of the staff are trained to pay attention to detail and are incredibly nice! We loved our day and everyone we worked with over at the club.

The Wisconsin Club itself is also stunning, both indoors and outdoors. Our photographer said he was like a "kid in a candy store!"

If you are lucky enough to have your reception here, you are not only getting a classic venue, but a meticulous, fun planner and staff that has been through the wedding process so many times - they listen to you, know the right questions to ask you, and will guide you through the day. Not to mention the Wisconsin Club is beautiful. We had the whole up stairs of the club to ourselves, including balconies for the guests to sit on and enjoy the perfect weather. Choosing the Wisconsin Club as our wedding venue was the best decision we made for our wedding. We received SO many compliments on the venue - I would highly recommend the Wisconsin Club!

She goes out of her way to make sure that she is working towards fulfilling the bride's vision of the day. Kris has the right mix of confidence and humility--she is direct enough to keep a rowdy group of guys and some distracted girls on schedule, but humble enough that she never makes the bride feel like the day is about anything other than her. Kris is evidently passionate about her work and she'll be invested in your day, not just her job. As an example of Kris's accomodations, she coordinated for shuttles to pick up my guests before and after the reception from a hotel near the airport. I was extremely worried about out-of-town guests making the trek from the hotel to the Club, but Summerfest rates had forced us further away from the city than I had wanted. Kris heard my concern and worked with her staff to find a solution that put my heart at ease and made transportation soooo easy for everyone. SPACE: The space at the Wisconsin Club is impressive--whether you're talking about the big stuff (ie. the Grand Ballroom) or the smaller spaces (the ornate staircase, the beautiful sitting room of stained glass, the powder room). The ornate and beautiful decor complements the grandeur of a once-in-a-lifetime wedding day without ever overpowering the reception or guests. We had a reception of close to 190 people in the Grand Ballroom and it couldn't have worked out better. Seating was comfortable and we didn't have to move a single chair to accommodate for lots of dancing on the great floor. Drinks were served in the side foyer and not once did it feel crowded (this was in large part because the bartenders did a great job making sure guests didn't have to wait for drinks). The D.J. played from the stage and the guests that needed to rest or get some fresh air were able to step out on the balcony or go to one of the comfortable sitting rooms. Everyone could find a place to be comfortable, and as a bride this came as a great relief. FOOD: A delicious step above your average wedding fare, guests offered many complements about the food. To my surprise, the stuffed shells were a huge hit. Only about 12 guests went with the vegetarian option, but nearly every one of them told me that they were the best stuffed shells they'd had. My personal favorite was the parmesan crusted halibut, but those that had the chicken picatta enjoyed it as well. As someone who didn't think she liked creme bruhle, I couldn't wait for them to bring it out to guests. It was delicious! DRINK: You pay for what you drink at the Wisconsin Club. I don't think it gets more fair than that. Guests never had to wait around for a drink and I received a lot of feedback about how refreshing this was. OVERALL VALUE: Let's just say that I think my guests think I paid A LOT more than I did. When it all breaks down, I don't think I saw another venue that even came close to offering a package as good as the Wisconsin Club's. Don't let it's estately reputation prevent you from crunching the numbers. I almost did, and boy would I have missed out.

I am forever grateful to Kris & the WI Club for making my wedding day so stress free and perfect! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have there fairytale wedding in the Milwaukee area!!!

She was organized, kind, and very friendly. The staff at the club was great too. Our guests were served almost all at the same time. Everyone did a great job with keeping the night going. They kept our gifts and other things there over night. We were able to pick everything up the next day. We can't say enough excellent things about the WI Club. The ballroom was beautiful, the bar staff was great, everything was perfect. And, all at a very reasonable price for downtown Milwaukee. Highly recommend!!!

I would love to do my wedding all over again and I wouldn't change a thing but I can't do that so I will just cross my fingers that I get to attend another wedding at the WI club in the future!

My husband's parents set up a limo service to take them to/from the event, and when the limo service wasnt there to get them at the end of the evening they even offered to take them home! I would strongly recommend booking any sort of event with them! (the food was terrific as well as the service!).

The day of my wedding, there was one coordinator who would help me in any way I asked (from getting tampons for my bridesmaid to relaying messages to the DJ) and made frequent but quick check-ins with me. The food was incredible, the wait staff was wonderful. We got a shuttle for the day and the driver was on time and very friendly! At the end of the night, the staff packed up the extra cupcakes so we could bring them home. Then we had a moonlight limo ride along the lake. I could not have asked for anything better. I am forever grateful to the WI Club for making my wedding day so stress free and perfect!

The bar staff was friendly and very aware of our guests and their needs. The waitstaff were everywhere always willing to lend a hand. I am beyond happy. Thank you Caroline and the Wisconsin Club.
