Rachel and her team were amazing to work with. I did a consultation a few weeks before the wedding and left feeling great. Rachel listened to what I wanted, made helpful suggestions, and took note of anything we wanted to change for the wedding. She was extremely responsive to the fact that I rarely wear makeup and wanted to look natural for the big day. On our wedding day, Rachel and the team were amazing! They listened to each person's vision and helped make everyone feel comfortable (even those that were a little nervous to get their makeup done). Everyone looked great and the makeup/hair lasted through lots of happy tears and dancing. I would highly recommend Wise Artistry for your event!

The ladies with Wise Artistry did a fantastic job with our hair and makeup for my Wedding Day! They were super easy to work with, used great products, and our hair and makeup lasted the whole day! We were very pleased with their services. You will not be disappointed if you choose them for your wedding day beauty needs! My hair does not hold curls well at all, but the tools and products they used not only kept my hair curly but made me feel absolutely beautiful the whole evening! Thank you, ladies!

Rachel, Darcie, and the rest of the Wise Artistry team did an excellent job for my July wedding! Rachel was able to bring my hair vision to life and made extra sure that my hair would last all day outside in the heat. Darcie was also able to capture my vision for a bronzy-mocha inspired look, and the to-go products she gave me helped me maintain my makeup look for hours. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the team and the way they made my bridesmaids and I feel on my special day. 10/10 would recommend!

I worked with Rachel for my wedding back in June and she was absolutely fantastic. I had a local MUA drop out somewhat last minute, reached out to Rachel and had the most wonderful introductory call with her. She understood my vision perfectly -- and my bridesmaids, MOH, and mom all looked beautiful as well. She was so organized, so professional, and has the perfect demeanor for a day that can feel otherwise very hectic. Rachel is THE BEST!

Rachel and her team were wonderful to work with for my wedding at Devil's Thumb Ranch. Three artists did hair and makeup for me (bride), 6 bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. We didn't have to come in at the crack of dawn which was a refreshing change from other weddings I've been in, and they remained ahead of schedule and flexible with arrivals while also being receptive to the look each person was going for. I also appreciated being able to have a trial with Rachel ahead of the wedding and her flexibility with the changes I wanted to make for the wedding day. Would recommend!

Rachel did an amazing job for the hair/makeup for my wedding. I loved my bridal hair/makeup and she really spent time incorporating my wants and personality into the final look. I was a little nervous b/c my bridesmaids were a very multiethnic group with different skin tones and hair textures. But Rachel is such a pro and did a beautiful job on everyone. Rachel and her team are truly talented. I highly recommend her for anybody's wedding.

Rachel was the absolute best and I could not have wished for a better HMUA for my elopement! I had never had my hair or makeup done before, and didn't want to risk trying to do it myself on my wedding day. I knew that I likely wouldn't be able to do a trial since we were coming in from out of state, so I was pretty nervous, but after the first meeting with Rachel I felt so much more at ease! She very clearly explained the whole process to me, with all the kinds of products they used and why, and how everything would be able to stay in place the whole day. I'd had a couple of other calls with HMUAs before this one, but Rachel was different! I could tell that she really listened to my concerns and helped me feel reassured. On the day of, Rachel was so positive, professional, and friendly while she got everything set up and did my hair and makeup. She was very easy to talk to, and again I felt that she really listened to exactly what kind of look I was hoping to achieve. I absolutely loved the final result, and could not have been happier with how everything looked in our photos especially! Using Rachel and her team for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding hair and makeup was one of the very best decisions I made! Rachel is so genuine and kind and extremely easy to talk to. The trial process was amazing and I felt like Rachel heard exactly what I was thinking and offered professional suggestions and alterations to make it perfect. Rachel helped create a look for my rehearsal that was so fun and spunky to match my outfit and my wedding hair and makeup was so flawless and timeless. The makeup and hair photographed amazing and I still can't get over how awesome Rachel is. In the past when I have had my makeup professionally done it has looked really cakey and unnatural and Rachel's style is so far from that. I felt like I still looked like myself and never felt like I had a ton of makeup on. My bridesmaids, mom and mother in law also loved their hair and makeup done by Rachel's team. They all made similar comments that they have previously had bad experiences with professional makeup and everyone was obsessed with how natural and amazing it looked this time around. When my husband and I decided to elope on the 4th of July, I was certain I’d have to do my own hair and makeup. I didn’t think anyone would be available on a holiday on short notice. I found Wise Artistry via the Knot, and after speaking with Rachel was both relieved and excited to learn that they could accommodate me on my special day. We finalized the start time as we got closer to the date. On the big day, the team arrived at my home early, as promised, set up quickly, and were so sweet and easy to work with. They worked on my hair and makeup at the same time and did a gorgeous job at both. It lasted all day and looked stunning in our photos. I’m so thankful to Wise Artistry for being flexible and for making me feel so beautiful and our day extra special.

Wise Artistry was great! I highly recommend doing the makeup trial, my artist was really patient and we tried multiple different eye makeup styles and hair makeup styles until we found the right one. I am very happy with the results! I got tons of compliments on it during the wedding. Staff was super friendly as well. One complaint is that they were not as responsive during planning, sometimes taking weeks to respond, but, it's a smaller company and it all came together in the end, I'm just a planner!

Anna with Wise Artistry was great and made sure that I felt comfortable with my wedding look. I really appreciated Wise Artistry coming on location even for just doing the bridal hair and makeup (most other hair and makeup companies had a 4-6 person minimum for on location). Overall a great experience!

Both my sister and I used wise artistry for our weddings and I cannot recommend enough. Rachel Wise communicated with us often, and the prices were fair. The makeup artists and hair stylists we had for both our weddings were amazing and so friendly. Darcy was a makeup artist at both our weddings and remembered who we were - it was such a personal experience that I wasn’t expecting. I’m so happy we found this company as they made both our wedding days amazing.

Rachel did an amazing job with my wedding hair and makeup. It was simple and elegant and still looked perfect at the end of a long night. She did great working with a tight timeline and was able to accommodate a variety of skin and hair types with all of my bridesmaids. I would highly recommend Wise Artistry!

Overall I had a great experience with Wise Artistry and Rachel. She was professional, flexible to the max, and I loved her team. Her prices were very fair, her team was also very flexible and for the most part very talented. We had a team of five for a total of 12 people who needed HMU services. One of the girls seemed newer and two of my bridesmaids did not like their hair with her and had to be adjusted by someone else. As the bride, my HMU came out fantastic and I felt like my artist listened to me and made the adjustments needed to make everything perfect

Rachel and her team were amazing for our elopement! She was super organized beforehand and told me how to prepare. Her and the team arrived on time and finished a little early! I loved my make up and hair. My hair NEVER holds a curl, but my hair stayed the entire day through the evening. Highly recommend.

We loved working with wise artistry! From the very beginning they helped us design the perfect bridesmaid morning and bridal look. They came right to our getting ready house with all the necessary supplies, high quality make-up and hair. The best part was how amazing everyone looked! I had a few bridesmaids who had elected only hair or only makeup and each person ended up wanting to add on the full package because everyone hair and make-up looked so good! Would absolutely recommend or use them again!

Rachel and her team did my bridesmaids' hair and makeup and I can't say enough good things about our experience! I did an at-home trial for my makeup because I wasn't really sure what I wanted and Rachel took everything from our conversation to create the perfect look for me. Rachel and her team are fantastic! Her team made my entire bridal party feel beautiful. My mom who never wears makeup chose to get her makeup done felt comfortable even with lashes on. My trial with Rachel was great and she listened to my inspiration for bridal hair and makeup. On the day of the wedding, she listened again and made tweaks so I felt the most beautiful. Their work is absolutely stunning and it lasted all night! I was extremely happy and would recommend! The skin care prep before was such a nice addition!

These ladies were the best from the trial for my engagement photos to waking up at 0330 to get us ready for my sunrise wedding. Yes! That's dedication to your job! The hairstyles were spot on to our inspirations & the makeup was just the right amount of glam.

Rachel and her team are simply fantastic! Rachel was so flexible and compassionate when we had to move our wedding celebration from 2020 to 2021. I NEVER wear makeup and have a TON of hair, so finding someone who would still make me feel like myself and keep all my hair in place all day was critical. Rachel delivered on everything I could have wanted an more. She and her team were wonderful on the day of and my bridesmaids were so complimentary. They were thrilled with how they looked and found Rachel and her team to be fun and easy to talk to. As the day progressed, our hair and makeup continued to look great all night - even after starting the ceremony in an afternoon rain storm. What's more, we found Wise Artistry to be unbelievable affordable - particularly for traveling to Estes Park and doing such an incredible job. Rachel and her team were incredible. I planned our small Colorado wedding from Texas and was having trouble finding someone to do our hair and makeup until I contacted Rachel. She was extremely responsive via email and phone, was very patient with me while I figured out the total number of services because people kept adding services on. The day of my wedding, they did everyone’s hair and makeup flawlessly including mine. I am usually very weary of getting my makeup done but they did exactly what I was looking for and I felt so beautiful and comfortable the entire day. Hire them !!!

Rachel and her team were amazing to work with. Every single person in my party who had her services was happy with the result. Rachel and her team were prompt, creative, and listened to what would make each person feel the most beautiful (I prefer a lighter touch on the foundation!). I originally found Rachel via recommendations of neighbors when starting the arduous wedding vendor search. I had my trial run right before the start of CV-19 (which she graciously scheduled before my engagement photos - which turned out perfect AND gave me a chance to see how the makeup would hold up through some light hiking and photos). Her flexibility when I had to push out my wedding date over a year was so so appreciated and made being a 2020 bride so much less stressful. Fast forward to June 20th, 2021 and Rachel and her team did an absolutely flawless job on my own, my bridesmaids, and the mothers hair and makeup. We had a diverse group of bridesmaids that were looking for a variety of different hair styles and makeup looks. The individual lashes, lip stains, quality of makeup and face prep were also really nice touches (and addition to the teams incredible professionalism and calming demeanor). Our makeup and hair looked flawless from the early morning to past midnight and held up in the winds of Estes Park. Can't recommend enough!!!

My husband and I eloped from Texas to Colorado and stayed in an Airbnb. Rachel traveled to my location to do my hair and makeup before our intimate, personal ceremony and she did an amazing job! She communicated with me up until the date and had me create a Pinterest board for ideas to show her the day of.
