hat of course did not happen due to the pandemic. I decided to hire her (even though she was a little pricier than other options) since she is the owner of her business thinking that she would show greater pride and commitment, but I was wrong. Once we signed the contract, I started to notice that she wasn’t as responsive as I thought she would be and sometimes would take a few emails to remind her to send me things. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as it was around the holidays and she shared with me she was going through some personal changes at home. I tried to be patient and understanding. Fast forward, the pandemic starts and we of course have to make the difficult decision to cancel due to many reasons, not wanting to expose our loved ones, state mandated restrictions (which were still in place on 8/1), and us being out of state. She refused to return any of our deposit that she definitely had not earned. We offered to pay for any services rendered (at this point one meeting...and few planning worksheets she sent over), 99% of the services would essentially be on the day of! She refused because she said that by booking us it took away her opportunity from other business (which is fair if we were cancelling simply because we changed our mind) , but then said would reconsider as the date got closer. It is now a few weeks past what would have been our wedding date and 2 unanswered emails. The gathering/wedding restrictions were still in place on 8/1 so we do not believe we took any business that she would otherwise have had. We are so disappointed at the lack of empathy, we understand the pandemic has taken a toll on the wedding industry but it has also impacted wedding couples who are now out of thousands of dollars for something that is beyond anyone’s control. So please just be aware of all of this if you plan to hire her.

ired Wishes for day-of coordination, but she was instrumental in the planning process months in advance whereas other day-of coordinators won't even talk to you until 60-ish days before your wedding. Krista was always very responsive in the months/weeks/days leading up to our wedding. She had an answer for everything and even helped us get our venue to give us some stuff for free when negotiating our contract. She made us think about things we hadn't even thought of and she also put us in touch with the guy we ended up hiring as our DJ and he was great as well (shout out to Skip at HeadSmile DJs!) Since the wedding, so many people have asked me if we had any issues during the ceremony or reception. If there were any issues, I'm not aware of them, which is the entire point of a wedding coordinator. We were actually able to enjoy the day and night without worrying about a single detail. If you are reading this, you should definitely hire Krista and make sure you book her NOW because she is the best and if you wait too much longer, she will surely be booked. You won't regret it.

touch periodically in the months leading up to the wedding to answer any general questions we had and provide advice based on her extensive experience coordinating others’ weddings. She met with us in-person prior to the wedding to hash out the specifics of our wedding day timeline and our thoughts on how we wanted the venue set up. She was extremely organized, and prepared us for things we hadn’t even considered or realized we had to consider. She was attentive and was fast at responding to our emails. She attended our rehearsal and helped walk us and our wedding party through the ceremony. On the wedding day, Krista and her husband arrived early and got to work immediately, working with the equipment/decor rental company and venue staff to prepare the venue to our design. They were instrumental in making sure everything was set up perfectly, without either of us having to lift a finger. She helped make sure everyone involved in the ceremony were where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. She kept to the timeline and made sure the preparation flowed into the ceremony, and that into the cocktail hour and dinner. The night as a whole progressed seamlessly, so I’m certain there are plenty of things that Krista did that day that neither my husband nor I will ever be aware of. She was key to making our wedding about as stress-free as it ever could be!

h an incredibly detailed timeline, suggesting great and affordable vendors, helping out when there was a tragic circumstance for one of our vendors a month before our wedding, to making sure the day itself was absolutely perfect and smooth. amily private property in remote Western Washington. She traveled there, with her husband and assistant, for our walk through a couple weeks out and they also were available for the rehearsal night. Though I know this was outside her contract, when my rentals were arriving much later than they had stated and my wedding party and I had to get to the rehearsal dinner, Chester and Kat were willing to stay late and wait for them to arrive, literally saving a family member from having to miss the dinner. So she is so much more than a day of coordinator, which is what I thought I was getting, I didn't even realize in how many ways I would need her help outside of just the day of. Now, for the day of, I can not speak highly enough of what a fantastic job the two of them did, all while smiling and making sure my new husband and I had drinks of choice in hand! From the beginning of the day when they arrived, they got right to work setting up the entire venue, literally everything. They did not bother me ONCE with a question about how something should be placed or where something was. That was one of my big fears of having the wedding at our own property is that I wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy the day, but with Kat in charge, I was 110% able to do just that. There were so many logistics involved with our wedding, shuttles, different locations for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but they handled it all flawlessly and also worked really well with my in-laws who owned the property. I truly can not speak enough to the amazing job Kat did, I would recommend them to anyone!

Krista is extremely valuable. And for her level of experience and dedication, a wedding coordination package with her is very reasonably priced. As a couple who wanted everything to be personalized, Krista was a major help when we wrote our own ceremony and vows. She was also generous enough to allow us to use some of the decoration hardware she has collected over her years of coordinating. She was very detail-oriented. Even though we had planned everything down to the smallest detail, there were some things that Krista brought up that we hadn't thought about. Communication with her was reliable, quick and easy. We always felt supported, even during the crazy wedding season.
Knowing that Krista was there was very comforting and allowed us to enjoy the wedding. Even though there were some hitches on the wedding day (such as realizing that I left my veil in the hotel room 5-minutes prior to the ceremony), Krista handled it flawlessly. Even though our wedding is small (less than 60 people), there were still many things which can go wrong in our eyes. Krista scheduled a few pre-wedding meeting with us, we went over the timeline and every detail several times. She also had back-up plans for the ceremony in case it rains. I frantically started looking for day of coordinators because we did not want to have to set up or tear down anything. We have been to weddings in the past where we have had to and it is not so fun. Krista was amazing! We had a lot done by the time we hired her but she helped keep us on track, made sure we had everyhting done and most of all made our day run smoothly and our venue look amazing. I could have not asked for a better day. It looked amazing, things flowed well and everyone had an amazing time. If it was not for Krista I don't think it would have gone so well.
We did not have to touch anything for set up and all we had to do at the end of the night was make sure everything got into my parents car which we did not have to do because Krista was still there but we were the last ones there so we helped out a little as well.
I would recommend Krista to anyone. She is truly amazing and our wedding would not have been what it was without her.
