With A Twist Bartending

They offered to send the parents of one of the employees bartending my event to help, but I declined. I'm so glad I did. Then, just five days before my wedding, after I had already paid, they tried to add a travel fee! This was after I had already confirmed there wouldn’t be one with the owner, Staci. It took several back-and-forth conversations before they finally dropped the charge, claiming Staci suddenly remembered our previous discussion. On the day of the event, the bartenders who showed up were the parents mentioned earlier. There were issues with their setup, and to my surprise, they admitted they hadn’t bartended in years—which was very apparent. While they were nice people, their lack of experience showed in every drink they served. Every cocktail tasted like a straight shot, and despite purchasing the full bar package, we ran out of mixers and had to scramble for more. This entire experience was incredibly unprofessional, and I cannot recommend them. It added unnecessary stress to what should have been a seamless event.

Our guests commented on "strong drink, fast service". I even had some of the kids complimenting their virgin drinks (such as Shirley Temples) and they loved that experience too. I highly recommend With a Twist if you want a vendor that is helpful, considerate (our ceremony was taking place one room over from where the bartender was setting up and there was no sound interruptions whatsoever). Our bare tender was prepared on time and handled the initial cocktail hour rush very well. Absolutely recommend. We are so thankful foe the opportunity to have With a Twist elevate our event.
