They didn’t even overnight the ring per my request to make up for their delay, and as a result, I had to push back the trip I had planned and proposal I spent months preparing for in order to wait on the ring to ship. While I was pleased with the ring itself, the box had “With Clarity” largely and hideously emblazoned on the inside of the box, which frankly is gaudy and not ideal for opening the box to surprise your partner with. Customer service, while friendly, seemed fairly incompetent throughout the entire ordeal, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with this sort of process. With how important planning a once in lifetime event such as a proposal is, and with the amount of time, money, and emotion you’re investing, I recommend staying away from With Clarity and shopping elsewhere.

me saying the diamond I picked and already paid for wasn’t available, even though they “second check” when purchase. A load of BS. They said they couldn’t swap the diamond, even though I was picking same band and same shape diamond. I had to wait 2 weeks for my money to be refunded so I could order another. Over a month after receiving the ring and months after order date I have yet to receive my appraisal I paid extra money for.… still nothing, there seems to be a lack of care and communication. Never in my life did I imagine such a crappy experience buying an engagement ring, shouldn’t one actually look forward to that considering it is one of the biggest steps in life?

and it’s already scratched up, again. We got married on May 11th and after a few days of wearing it, it had a bunch of scratches on it. So With Clarity had me ship it back and the lady I spoke with said instead of just polishing it, they pretty much gave me a brand new ring. I get that ring back and it’s been a few weeks and it has scratches on it. I was concerned about that when I shipped it back to be repaired but the company said don’t worry about that and that if it does get scratch, they can polish it for $50. It’s crazy that after 2 months I would have had to pay $150 after purchasing the ring. They didn’t charge me for shipping it back the first time (which they shouldn’t have in the first place). After getting it back, my husband barely wears it. He has to wash his hands a lot (at a minimum after each patient) at work so instead of taking it on and off 20x a day, he doesn’t wear it. Same with exercising, when I spoke to the lady about the ring, she said he can’t wear it when exercising. So most of the time it’s either sitting on a counter or in the box. Since you only get 30 days to return or exchange, even if we picked it out a week before the wedding, we would have been stuck with it. $800 wasted. This isn’t like a special occasion type of ring, it’s an everyday ring and it can’t last a few weeks without getting messed up? I would have been better off going with some random company buying a cheaper ring. At least I wouldn’t feel so screwed. I decided to go with this company because it’s where my husband bought my engagement and wedding band. My ring is fine but overall, I don’t recommend this company based off the customer service, their policies and quality of wedding bands. Take your chance and go with someone else. I’m going to try and sell this one and use the money to buy a better quality ring with another company.

was pretty skeptical, to say it lightly, until I talked to a family member that is a jeweler. He indicated the diamond was indeed real, was very good, and labeled appropriately. They said it would take about 15 business days to create the setting but they had it sent to me way, way ahead of time. I’m thrilled and I’ll be back if I have a need. I definitely recommend!!

Shortly after this, my wedding ring, which I had been wearing for only a couple of weeks, had multiple diamonds fall out. Mind you, I only wear it for dressing up and never for anything that would cause damage to it. We contacted customer service, they repaired it after we paid to ship it back. This cycle has now been repeated FOUR TIMES. We continue to get a ring back that is poorly constructed and has diamonds falling out of it within a couple months. I imagine we’ll just continue to send it back every few months or so until the warranty ends. It’s so upsetting.

right decision regarding my purchase. When the stone came, it was not the right size for the setting, so I returned it. I purchased another stone and it did not look very bright in the setting. They refused to exchange it because it would have been my second exchange. I offered to purchase another stone that was more expensive, but they said that was "unfair to other customers to allow me to make two exchanges". (Thank goodness other companies aren't as picky. One would think a diamond that has a serial number would be durable enough to be exchanged without harming the integrity of the stone.) I was finally told, "Try to sell the stone to a third party." So now I have a stone I don't like and I am purchasing from another company. If you value customer service, avoid them like the plague! And what is ironic is that they sent me an email offering me a $10 Amazon gift card if I completed this review. At least Amazon has good customer service. I have actually returned socks to Amazon, but With Clarity won't allow me to exchange an item more than once. Unless you are an experienced gemologist who knows how to buy a stone, don't use them.

econd try on, I sent my rings back with the label given by the company, & it didn't have shipment tracking. Because I had tried on a few, I was finally down to the last try on before purchase. Assuming my order made it back, I ordered my last round. A week later, I was contacted by a customer service rep who cancelled my order because of the policy violation of two outstanding orders at once. I respect policy, and in this case I legitimately did not mean to break it. The team did not work with me to fix my issue & was okay cancelling my business. Options for keeping customers in the future: o Work with the customer - Give them the delivery estimation from their previous order & offer shipment after that date. o Find better customer service reps and focus on customer experience. o Always assume good intentions. (EQ 101) I'm really disappointed because this is where I wanted to buy my ring. I'll have to look elsewhere and start over.

The support staff are very responsive and got the resizing taken care of quickly and without worry. I ended up buying the wedding band here as well. For the newer generation who like to shop online and avoid the salesmen, this is the perfect place to buy jewelry.

I ended up taking my ring to an independent appraiser in Seattle, WA to make sure the diamond I got is what I ordered - which it absolutely was and appears I did get a fantastic deal. Writing this review in case anyone else is a little unsure about purchasing a diamond online. Not only is the diamond absolutely stunning, the ring is so well crafted and exactly as described. All in all, I would recommend With Clarity to ANYONE who is ring shopping and wants to get the most diamond for their money. Jewelers and the big websites (Blue Nile, James Allen) prices for a comparable diamond and ring were SIGNIFICANTLY higher than what I paid at With Clarity (talking $8K-$10K higher!). I couldn't be happier with my purchase and will buy from With Clarity when I shop for my replacement wedding band.

t I had a small issue when trying to insure the ring. Despite sending me the ring 3 weeks before I tried to insure it, I had to pay to have it appraised by With Clarity. Not sure why they didn’t appraise it while they had it, but I either had to ship it back for $40 or get an estimated appraisal for $60. Just doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. Seems like something that should be done prior to sending it to me.

Now I’m going to have to sell it for a fraction of the price to make sure my fiancé likes her ring. I understand a no refund policy on a custom ring, but to not even allow some wiggle room on a return and upgrade is unacceptable in my opinion. Especially when they made the ring and know the value. The cost savings on the diamond and solitaire setting is worth it to use this company however I highly recommend avoiding custom purchases and physically going into your local jeweler to review options.
