If you are a couple in Central Ohio looking for a wedding venue, STOP LOOKING — Wolf Run Acres is the one. Hands down, this is the best wedding venue in Central Ohio, and the value they provide simply cannot be overstated.
From the moment we started working with Kim and Rod, they went above and beyond anything we could have imagined from a venue team. They genuinely take the time to get to know you, your relationship, and your vision for your wedding. They aren't just there to provide a space and send you on your way — they truly care about making your wedding special and will do everything they can to help bring your vision to life. Kim even helped us with decorations and so many of the little details that made our day feel uniquely ours.
One of the things we loved most is that Wolf Run Acres is not a wedding factory. You get the entire weekend, which means you aren't scrambling to set everything up or tearing everything down immediately after your reception. Having that extra time made such a huge difference and allowed us to actually enjoy the experience rather than feeling rushed. They even provide a beautiful neon sign that adds such a fun touch to the venue!
And then there's Kim. She is truly a miracle worker. It is so obvious how much she genuinely cares about her couples and brides. She went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process and even provided an amazing day-of experience for the bridesmaids. Her attention to detail, kindness, and willingness to jump in and help wherever needed made us feel incredibly taken care of.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The indoor/outdoor feel creates such an amazing atmosphere, and the landscaping is breathtaking. There are so many beautiful areas for photos and places for guests to enjoy throughout the property. And did we mention they have Highland cows?! That alone makes Wolf Run Acres pretty unforgettable!
We truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. Kim, Rod, and the entire Wolf Run Acres team exceeded our expectations in every possible way. They helped make our wedding weekend everything we dreamed it would be, and we are so grateful we chose them.

Wolf Run Acres is an elegant wedding venue located in Washington Court House, OH. Owned by the Boswell clan, this family-run business offers top-quality service and unique event facilities. The newly built black and grey barn features an industrial-chic edge. Whether you have an intimate gathering or a lavish soiree, this stunning venue is the perfect place to begin married life.
Weddings of various sizes and styles can be accommodated at Wolf Run Acres, with a max capacity of 175. For an outdoor ceremony, you and your beloved can say “I do” on the beautifully landscaped lawns surrounded by scented wildflowers and flourishing blooms. Afterward, you can step onto the patio for your cocktail hour or take photos with guests in front of the many different photo ops, a large wooden swing, a chandelier in a wooded area, and the antique grain wagon. When it is time for your wedding reception, you can enter the barn through large French doors or large glass overhead doors to the climate-controlled reception area, featuring ambient string lighting and pinewood ceilings. This space is both sophisticated and welcoming. This area is completely decorated to match your dream of a perfect wedding. We have two large photo walls, which you have a choice of; we provide neon with the couple's last name and also provide photo booth for your guests to enjoy for the night. Guests can also enjoy a drink at either the indoor ( large fireplace area) or outdoor bar. The outdoor bar sits outside a large overhead door that has outdoor cafe seating and an outdoor dance floor. The reception area has a checkered dance floor for an elegant first dance or for the guests to dance the night away.
Wolf Run Acres offers an impressive variety of services to make your wedding an unforgettable experience. The event staff is on hand to provide you with all the essentials for your event, including tables, chairs, linens, and decor items. Wolf Run provides bartenders for both the indoor and outdoor bar areas. We provide day of coordinating and work with you throughout the whole process to ensure a very easy, less stressful experience for the couple and their families. They are also happy to recommend reputable vendors within the area, allowing you to access reliable suppliers and businesses. The barn offers wireless internet access, on-site parking, and handicap accessibility. The venue is also located within minutes of Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton, making it accessible for guests travelling from near and far.

I truly like meeting and working with brides and couples to establish their dream wedding and working towards making sure that everything is as they dream of and their weekend goes off very easy and special for couple and their families and guest. Love having guest exclaim how wonderful of an experience the wedding was!!
