They don't nickel and dime you for extra forks, lights, glasses, etc like some of the area venues do. Unfortunately about 3 weeks before our June wedding Don resigned. Joann, his temporary replacement did a fine job and the night went great. But I did miss that extra special touch that Don added. We had 100 guests, and even though the ballroom is very large the place looked great! Not too big, definitely not crowded and our guests loved the outdoor patio. I would highly recommend Wolferts Roost to any bride!

set up all of my centerpieces (since I didn't go with a florist for them). He let me do my own thing when it came to the cake too! Besides making sure I ate, making sure my Red Bull cans didn't end up in professional photos, and helping to straighten out my train, he made all of the guests feel comfortable. He coordinated everything perfectly and made my night wonderful. The guests couldn't say enough about how delicious the food was, and everyone's food came out hot (despite there being over 150 people there!). Great price, great food, awesome staff and it was an amazing evening.

e only thing that was a bit off was their management. Don is great, but has a different type of personality that sometimes can be intimidating and unwelcoming. For the money you pay, they should be kissing your feet. There were times when I wouldn't get a straight answer. They even initially told me that I would have to set up the favors myself, or have a family member do it. In the end, everything turned out perfect. They just sometimes brought on unnecessary stress during the weeks leading up to the wedding.
