Michael of Wonder Tribe was by far our favorite vendor to work with! We hired him after seeing him in action at my best friend's wedding. He has an incredibly positive attitude and is completely professional while still being warm and approachable. For our wedding, he honored all of our input and ideas and took the most beautiful photos of our big day. We chose to have a second photographer to assist Michael, and it was definitely the right choice. Vin and Michael were conscientious to get photos of all of the family members and groups that we requested, and all the details that we worked so hard to put together for our big day. The candid photos of the reception are some of our favorites, but our couple's photos are gorgeous and better than we could have hoped for. We highly recommend Wonder Tribe and would work with them again in a heartbeat!

I am so incredibly grateful to have found Michael! As soon as I saw his beautiful photographs, I knew I wanted him to be a part of our wedding day. Michael was an absolute dream to work with during our engagement and wedding. I was first attracted to his work because of his beautiful outdoor wedding shots. His use of the natural light and the natural landscape of each venue is incredible. Michael and company from Wondertribe are truly Legends of Photography! Michael is one of the kindest human being's we have ever met. He was really great at making us feel completely comfortable during each photo shoot, both for our engagement photos and wedding photos! THE PHOTOS CAME OUT INCREDIBLE!!!! Highly recommended!! AMAZING WORK!!! BEST IN THE BUSINESS!! We had our Wedding in Beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. Michael from Wondertribe was able to do both my Sister's and our Weddings at both the Santa Barbara Historical Museum and the Santa Barbara Club in downtown. One little bit that I wanted to mention in this review as well, was that our Great Grandparents were able to make each of our weddings at the old age of 92. Michael was able to capture the most amazing photos of our Great Grandmother Helen during both weddings before she passed away just this past year. For this I will be forever grateful for his amazing photos that I will always cherish these memories by. It speaks volumes about how amazing it is to have such a caring photographer that can capture such special moments. Best decision we made for our wedding! There is not enough praise we can give Michael, he truly is one of the most talented people I have ever met. We hired him for our wedding, about a year out, if not longer. Through out that time, leading up to our big day, he stayed in contact, checked in on us and met up with us multiple times. Come wedding day, he made everyone feel comfortable in front the of camera, stuck to a pretty tight time frame for pictures and captured our day perfectly. Everyone fell in love with him at our wedding! We had guests coming up to us left and right telling us how impressed they were by him. My husband and I are really so thankful for Michael and the friendship we have built with him this past year!

I hired Michael for my daughter's wedding in June. He was absolutely delightful to work with from start to finish. He was kind, caring, flexible, dependable, and so friendly with all the guests, bridal party, families, and other vendors. He was prompt with delivering the product in the timeframe he specified. His photographs are STUNNING and he took so many. They were all well organized into categories. He is a true professional from beginning to end. He has a great eye for unique photographs and especially shines with outdoor scenes. Another bridesmaid from our wedding has already hired him for hers. Cannot say enough wonderful things and I'm looking forward to hiring him again in the future.

If you are looking for a photographer, look no further. Michael is THE most skilled, dependable, courteous, comfortable, caring, and talented photographer you will ever meet. He has such a big heart and really puts his all into every photo he takes. His shots are creative and elegant, and his experience and artistry is unmatchable. My husband and I interviewed a handful of photographers, but once we met Michael we immediately knew he was the one. My husband has always hated photos, but Michael was able to completely change his perception. By the end of our engagement shoot, we were all smiling and laughing and couldn't wait to get together again. Choosing your photographer is probably one of the most important decisions you make on your wedding day. Your photographer will be there capturing the day's worth of events--whether it be first look, vows, or first dance. You want to make sure you can trust them, are comfortable with them, and can consider them as one of your closest friends. Michael is all of these but more, and my husband and I am more grateful than ever to share our wedding day with him.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Michael! He is one of the most kind-hearted people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From our first introductory meeting to the end of our wedding day, Michael made sure that if we ever needed anything, to not hesitate to ask him. We had our beautiful engagement photos done by him, where he made us feel like naturals in front of the camera. You see all this beauty around you but when he shows you the photo he’s taken, it completely blows you away. It doesn’t even seem real! It was an absolute delight and privilege having Michael of Wonder Tribe as our engagement and wedding photographer. From start to finish, we had an effortless, comfortable rapport and it was abundantly clear that Michael is passionately devoted to his craft. Along the way, his questions were extremely thoughtful, aimed at truly understanding who we are as a couple and our vision for the photo shoots. Michael did our engagement photos a few months before the wedding which we highly recommend! It gave us the opportunity to get to know him better and feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Michael is one of the greatest humans my husband and I have ever met. He will do absolutely everything to make sure your photos, from engagement to wedding photos, are what you are looking for. We could tell from our initial conversation with him that photography is his absolute passion and his joy for his work is infectious. We had an absolute blast with him during our engagement photos and felt so comfortable with him during our session. During our wedding, our wedding party also said they enjoyed Michael and that he felt like a friend while taking our photos, making us laugh and relax during what could be a very stressful time. Michael was such an awesome photographer! I highly recommend him! Not only are his pictures stunning, he was just such a welcome presence on the day of our wedding. Besides Michael's obvious talent with a camera, he went above and beyond for both our engagement and wedding photos. He is extremely easy to work with and allowed us to feel comfortable in front of the camera. He was quick to get our photos to us, which by the way were impeccable. I cannot say enough about Michael and Wonder Tribe Wedding Photography! He made the day of our dreams a reality and was an absolute joy to work with! My now husband(!) and I had a private, very special ceremony at Meditation Mount in Ojai, CA and I was looking for a photographer who could capture the intimacy and connection with nature that we wanted to cultivate. Michael was on board right away and seemed to know exactly what we wanted. He is warm, kind, generous, and professional and we all hit it off right away. He took the time to speak with us over the phone first, then we met for coffee and a site visit together to go over what the wedding day would hold. Michael was absolutely wonderful! From the beginning he was supportive and so easy to work with. Our experience with Michael had been nothing, but amazing. From our initial meeting to the end of our wedding day. Prior to meeting and working with Michael, I discounted Photography "easy" but after being educated on the process and seeing the final work, I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with him. First our engagement photos went off without a hitch and he made our entire day feel so special. Michael has a very calming presence that made someone like myself (a person who has never taken professional photographs/modeled) feel at ease and treat the process as very natural. We worked with Michael and Wonder Tribe Photography for our wedding in Ventura, CA. Michael was amazing - he communicated well (we planned the wedding from the east coast), and was very professional. He met us in person at our wedding rehearsal and took the time to test the lighting and take some test photographs. Our wedding was near the beach and although it wasn't originally planned, we ended up going down for some beach pictures. All of the photographs came out amazing - we are so happy we worked with him, he really captured the moments in our wedding beautifully. We highly recommend him as a photographer!

When we first met Michael we knew he was the photographer for us. He is a very charismatic, creative, and a fun loving person. Michael was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. The way he captured not only every detail of our event but the love between my husband and I was nothing short of amazing. Michael is an absolute ninja; you would have thought we had 4 photographers at our wedding instead of 1. Our coordinator was nowhere to be found throughout much of the day and Michael was our constant that kept us from panicking and kept us on track with the schedule we had in mind. Michael from Wonder Tribe Weddings is the best! As a same sex couple, we felt extremely comfortable with him. He made no assumptions about what our ceremony would be like or who would be doing something based on tradition. He asked questions if he didn't know the answer. He was accepting, open to learning about the LGBT community and took some amazing shots of our wedding. Michael is passionate about love, family and marriage. His passion comes through in every photograph. We did not want to have staged photos so the pressure was on to make sure that he didn't miss a moment of the ceremony. He did an amazing job! Hire him! When I think back on our wedding experience, and not just the wedding day but the entire journey leading up to it, I am so beyond thankful that we found Michael of Wonder Tribe. For some reason finding a photographer was one of our most difficult vendors to nail down and as soon as I got off the phone from my initial conversation with Michael I told my fiance I wanted to hire him. I don't even know where to begin with Michael. I knew the first time we met for our engagement shoot, he was just amazing. Day of the wedding, he was on top of it! He was running around capturing every moment possible! He really has a passion for what he does and he does unbelievable photos! He is very down to earth, kind and just all around a wonderful person. We had Michael as our photographer for our wedding. I was so nervous about the photographer, because you hear horror stories of people spending a lot of money on photos and them not coming out how they want them. Michael made my husband and I feel comfortable really fast like he wasn't even there. He did a fabulous job for our wedding photos. They were everything that we wanted and more. We constantly get compliments on our photos. He did a fantastic job with natural light, making the photos seem classic and not staged. He was very professional and quick with responding to any questions I had, including ones about the venue (Santa Barbara Courthouse in the mural room) and the process of getting a marriage license. We were able to meet with him about a month and a half before the wedding at the venue and go over locations and discuss what we wanted. He found a fantastic place to take photos after our ceremony in a wooded area on bluffs with the ocean in the background. I honestly can't say enough about Wonder tribe. I could go on forever about how incredible of an eye he has and how wonderful it was working with him. I wish I could post a photo because I don't think words do him justice. The price was right and I couldn't have imagined having any other than Michael. Thank you so much for making our memories of our wedding amazing.

Michael was the most amazing wedding photographer. We eloped in Big Sur, CA. Not only did he trek around the forest with us to find a perfect spot, but he also was able to understand exactly what I wanted and captured our wedding perfectly. I was worried I would hear the camera clicking during the ceremony but he was so quiet that I forgot he was even there! He is kind, professional, reliable and A TRUE ARTIST! Working with Michael was a dream. I came across his website on The Knot, and immediately had a gut feeling that he was the right photographer for us.
