Our 11 acre oasis includes lodging (on-site and nearby, along with the owners remodeled motor lodge, diner, and general store only 2 miles away!), camping, glamping, a pro level 10 basket disc golf course, plenty of yard games, multiple pavilions for smaller gatherings or bands/ DJs to set up, mutiple fishing ponds, a huge trout stream as the center of focus, easy access and parking for 200, and a huge timber-frame barn complete with oversized glass garage and slider doors, outdoor patio, tables and chairs for 150, ADA compliant bathrooms, catering kitchen, changing rooms, and even an additional barn for your bar and lounge and billards room with additional outdoor seating for 84!
Facilities and Capacity
Wonderlust Acres offers a secluded, immersive wedding experience in the NC mountains. Surrounded by nature, prepare in our comfortable rooms. Enjoy a cocktail reception on the Wonderbarn patio, great for photos. For the reception, enter the impressive Wonderbarn. Garage doors allow seamless indoor/outdoor transitions and natural light. Ornate chandeliers create romance. The Wonderbarn accommodates 200 guests, with space for dancing. An outfitted kitchen is available, along with well-appointed changing rooms. Exchange vows with a smaller guest list (and on a smaller budget) at the Lakeside Pavilion with water views; 50 guests on the lawn.
This inclusive location offers services to simplify your wedding day. We provide at no extra cost: chairs, tables, movable bar/ drink & ice bin, and an arbor. You can bring in your preferred vendors. Fire pits, easy parking, and wheelchair access are available. Depending on the package, you can access the entire site for a weekend glamping experience. Our estate is ready to help you create a memorable celebration.

The owner's main source of income is through his real estate practice and investments, making the event space a passion project first rather than just a business. His goal is to provide a beautiful place that celebrates the outdoors, where guests can unwind and relax, and connect with each other, so the venue specializes in stress-free full weekend weddings at reasonable prices.
