narrowed them down by catalogs that were pretty, cost and availability. When I interviewed them, I felt like a few were trying to sell me, a few just didn't connect with me... and then I spoke with Yee Won. As soon as I got off the phone, I knew she would be the only person I could trust to capture my wedding. I remember my now-husband asking who I was talking to, and commenting that it sounded like I was talking to an old friend. Because that's how Yee Won makes everyone feel the moment you meet with or speak to her. I felt like she understood who I was (and she wasn't afraid to ask if she didn't) and what I wanted the from my wedding photographs. I didn't want posed, formal photos. I wanted to see candid, private moments that I would remember and cherish for a lifetime. And boy did she deliver. Starting with the engagement session, I knew she was perfect. She had a few teaser photos to me in a very short amount of time and I had access to the photos in the exact amount of time she quoted me (same went for my wedding day photos). This was important as many of my friends had to wait many months for their photos, never knowing when they'd receive proofs. My husband and I are not even remotely adept at taking photographs of ourselves and we hate posing. Neither of us really focus on taking pictures because we're too busy enjoying each other or whatever we're doing. Yee Won understood this immediately and knew exactly how to get us to relax in whatever setting she put us in. Whether by telling jokes, speaking sweet nothings into each other's ears, she really knows how to pull joy and love out of every photograph she takes. You know you've got the best photographer when every single wedding guest mentions to you how much they love her (I mean kind of hard not to love the tiny lady wearing a peel-n-stick mustache, right?). In reminiscing with my family, they spoke so highly of Yee Won and thought she was the best photographer they'd ever seen. And honestly, this is an understatement. Not only is Yee Won an angel human being, she's also a stand out photographer. She makes me want to consider flying her across the country to capture all of my important life moments in the future... Yee Won made me feel like the most beautiful bride and I always felt like my wedding day was as important, if not more important to her as it was for me. She wanted to get everything just right, but not solely in the sense of "let's get a beautiful photo." She wanted to capture moments, interactions and scenes that I could look back on in the future and remember how I felt at that exact moment in time. That is a special gift and I will treasure it for the rest of my life. makes everyone smile when she's around--which is a serious plus in this case! She made me and my friends and family feel comfortable in front of the camera. More than one person in my bridal party commented on how her personality made it easier and more fun for everyone. In the planning process, I could tell she was extra attentive to what was important to me and the details I wanted to capture. I would recommend her to anyone!

ve, super thorough and organized. I loved that I didn't have to contact or track her down for anything. She made sure I was aware of everything that was to happen on my big day. My pictures were amazing and she captured every moment beautifully. I couldn't have asked for anyone else. She was definitely a God send and I am so appreciative of her service and talent.
