Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go! 

We had an excellent experience working with Jen for our wedding. The wooden flowers were beautiful, and still are almost a year later! You really can’t tell the difference between them and “true” flowers. They were much more affordable, and our guests got to take some flowers home with them to keep. Communication was always quick and clear. Every interaction with Jen was great, whether it was figuring out which flowers and colors we wanted, or coordinating pickup of the flowers prior to the wedding day. Based on an recommendation from a friend I reached out to Jen for my wedding flowers. We had a small wedding and I knew that I wanted something I could keep and hold onto. Jen was so great to work with for my wedding. She made the whole process so simple and seamless. These flowers are amazing! Jen was wonderful to work with and very responsive and creative. The flowers came out absolutely beautiful. Jennifer did a beautiful job on our wedding flowers. She really captured the mood I was going for using all my colors and adding sparkle with notes of black details in everything! I knew I wanted Sola wooden flowers for my wedding but I also knew I was not creative enough to make my own. When I found my wedding venue, The Hinterland, she had a Wood and Word Blooms floral arrangement on display and I knew this was the direction I needed to go! Jen makes beautiful floral creations and she worked with me to create exactly what I had pictured! Jen was easy to work with and quick to respond. I just provided pintrest photos and colors that I was thinking and Jen worked her magic. I trusted her completely to make my vision come true and she surpassed my expectations! Not only did my wedding look incredible but now I have forever flowers to admire and remind me of the most perfect day. My guests could not believe these flowers were made of wood!

I was a bit hesitant at first with getting sola wood flowers, but I was so blown away with how they looked I can’t imagine going any other way! Jenn is very easy to work with and helpful in guiding you through the entire design process. She is so talented and has such an eye for designs. All of the arrangements we got were beautiful and photographed SO WELL! I also love that I got to keep my bouquet and now have it as a beautiful centerpiece at my house. Cannot recommend enough!

Jennifer was amazing! She came up with so many ideas to help my vision come to life. She went above and beyond to help me come up with creative ways to decorate my ceremony site after I was running out of ideas! My site change from a gazebo to a 16 foot-wide pergola and I was feeling worried when we were getting closer to the wedding because I hadn't planned on having to decorate something so big. Jennifer took the time to search for ideas via Pinterest and sent me several photos and ideas on how to decorate our ceremony site so that it would look perfect. My wedding colors were very neutral (greens and champagne mostly) so I was also unsure what color to add in to make things look more lively. I was trying to choose color samples and then realized everything was too light when I looked at it in the outdoor lighting. I ended up just putting my trust in Jennifer and she did not disappoint. She had the idea of adding in some light pink/mauve to my bouquet and decorative florals. They looked absolutely beautiful. I was in love with all my florals from the bouquets to the boutonnières to the garlands and even the extras she gave! Throughout the whole process she was responsive and helpful. She made sure we had plenty of extra flowers which I used to decorate my display tables. Everything tied together so perfectly! Jennifer knows what she is doing and she is very good at her profession! She is very reasonably priced and she was somewhat local for me so I was able to pick up my florals instead of having to get them shipped. She made sure we had everything we needed when I picked up those flowers. They came packaged up nicely with care instructions and anything we might need for touch ups on the day of. I have and will continue to recommend Jennifer to brides/women who are considering using faux florals at any event! I'm so happy I get to keep mine to remember our special day. My bridesmaids also loved that they got to keep their bouquets as well. I will stay on the look out for Jennifer's workshops and classes/events she does as well. She was so fun to work with and I cannot recommend her enough!!

When I first heard about wood flowers I was a bit unsure, but yet super curious. I am so thankful I took the leap and worked with you Jen! My goodness, your talent is out of this world! We got married on 7/15/22, and we had the best florist ever!! I first saw Jen’s work tagged in an Instagram post from my venue, Stonehurst. I thought, “No way are those flowers not real.” Then I did some more searching through Wood and Word Bloom’s page and website. Jen’s work is so beautiful that I had to have her do the florals for my wedding. At first, I thought I would just do wood flowers for my bouquet and my bridesmaids’. But when I compared pricing, Jen’s designs gave me more for what I wanted to spend, and I knew that they would last forever. I was able to give away my centerpieces to guests as a keepsake from the wedding. And, most importantly, Jen is one of the kindest and patient people I have ever met. She met with me virtually to explain all of my choices and to go over style and design. I showed her a few inspo pictures and what she created fit my vision perfectly. Once you decide on your style, you get to choose your colors. This is done by going to a hardware store and choosing paint chips that Jen will use to paint your flowers. I sent multiple emails with colors and changes, and she responded so quickly with so much wisdom and patience. It felt so clear that she is an expert at what she does. She was also so flexible when I had to delete and add items to my order. I could not be happier with the way the florals turned out for my wedding. i absolutely LOVED my bouquets for my wedding!! real flowers aren’t for me so to discover Jenn and her beautiful wood flowers that look so real was the perfect find. Jenn helped me design the look I was going for and allowed me to create the bouquets myself (i’m super crafty). She created the perfect shaped/designed flowers, painted them immaculately and gave perfect instructions on how to create the bouquets. if i ever have any floral needs in the future, Jenn is my first and probably only choice.

I wanted to have flowers that would last forever to be able to reminisce on our wedding day. I had heard about wooden flowers and found someone local to where I lived, and I thought that would make things so convenient! Jen is personable, professional, and very helpful. She makes this process fun, engaging, and stress free. When she asked me to pick out colors for the flowers, I wasn’t sure how everything would come out. One of the best decisions for my whole wedding was choosing to use wood flowers and to work with Jen. I was taking a bartending class and one of the other students told me about Jen and her business, so I immediately reached out. Jen was so thoughtful and helpful when planning out the bouquets for my wedding. I'm not very creative, but she helped pick colors and florals that work so well together, and the final products were incredible. We scheduled to do a DIY party, but COVID had different plans. So, Jen put together DIY kits for us to pick up and then create on our own. She provided videos on how to make the bouquets and was readily available to answer any questions. Jen was one of the first vendors we booked, and I am so glad we did! I was looking for a "fake" boutonnière for my fiance to wear because of his allergies, and found Jen. There are so many other benefits to wood flowers! We got to pick the exact colors of our flowers, pick them up and give to our venue ahead of time, give family members/bridal party members a centerpiece to keep forever, and save time/money on drying flowers to preserve them. Jen created our bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières and we did a DIY party to create our centerpiece wreaths and aisle decorations. Jen is a great teacher and even beginners felt comfortable crafting/creating. It was a great way to save money and good way for our bridal party to bond!

She specializes in creating bouquets using sola wood and other faux greens—meaning, I get to keep my bouquet forever and you will too! The amount of compliments and comments I received on my bouquet was unreal. My guests and vendors could not fathom that my bouquet wasn’t made with “real” flowers. Our vision was to create florals with a “wildflower feel”. We wanted mostly greens with textured blue flowers mixed in & Jennifer took my words and created the exact vision I had in my head. Honestly, our florals were even better than I could have envisioned—there was not one thing I would have wanted to change! I have probably recommended Jen to about a million people. She was the first vendor I booked, before the dress and venue. And from day 1, she was absolutely wonderful to work with. I sent her a picture of what I envisioned our bouquets to look like along with the colors I wanted and she took it from there. Up until our DIY party, I may have kept adding things I wanted but she really never made me feel like I was being annoying. We did a DIY party in March at my moms and it was SO much fun, and my stepmom kept saying “I’m not creative at all” and in the end she was SOO happy with her mini bouquet. And the best part is, we all got to keep them forever. Jen also made flowers for our cake, flowers for us to make ceremony decor, flower girl’s hair piece, the guys boutonnières. But I had asked to her to do something that I thought may have been impossible. She turned my great grandmother’s hat from her wedding (almost 100 years old) into a lace wrap for my bouquet as well as my grandma’s. And she also turned my great grandmother’s wedding gloves into flowers for myself and my grandma. It was her mother and I am named after her. That was so special for me to share with my grandma. If you are thinking wooden flowers, DO IT and use Wood & Word Bloom because Jen is the nicest human being ever. She is so talented.

I contacted Wood & Word Blooms to create my bouquet, hair piece and boutonniere for my wedding. My expectations were definitely exceeded! Jen was so great to work with. She asked specific questions to make sure she understood what you had in mind. She also had soo many flowers to choose from. Jen was very responsive to any inquiry and was able to answer every question I had. She even repainted some of the flowers as they didn't turn out to be the color I had chosen. Wood & Word Blooms really hit it out of the park with the flowers for the bridal party. After rescheduling my wedding from 2020 to 2021 I was uneasy about ordering the flowers in 2020 and holding onto them for the year. Jen assured me that they would be fine after a year and she wasn't kidding. They were just as beautiful as the day I picked them up and I was able to use them twice - once for my small ceremony in 2020 and then again in 2021 for the big wedding. Not to mention a great gift for the bridesmaids. Now they have a gorgeous bouquet to last them a lifetime!

Listen up!! If you have never heard of wood flowers before you will be happy you looked into this. Our flowers turned out amazing and SO many people couldn't believe that the flowers weren't real. The best part is we were able to use the flowers from the ceremony in the reception and guests took them home and they'll last forever. Our home now has my bouquet proudly displayed for years to come without worrying that it will die.

She is absolutely amazing at what she does, we got so many complements on our flowers, even our videographer couldn't tell they were wood until halfway through cocktail hour! I have never been much of a flower person so I gave her some flowers I liked and my color scheme and she ran with it. If you don't have an exact vision for your wedding florals, trust Jen!!! Her eye is incredible and the flowers tied everything together so much better than I had ever pictured in my head! I was in love with my flowers for my wedding! Jen Angle at Wood and Word Blooms specializes in wood flowers. Wood flowers was a route I wanted to take for a long time. I loved the concept of the wood and also the fact that they will never die and are a keepsake I will have forever. I ordered my bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpiece wreaths through Jen and the cost was half the price of what real flowers would have been! The flowers were gorgeous and looked real, my guests couldn’t tell the difference until I actually told them that my flowers were made of wood. They are a lot lighter to hold as well! Jen was amazing to work with through the whole COVID process as my guest count kept changing and I had to keep adding, subtracting and adding centerpieces again. She was responsive and accommodating no matter what I was throwing at her! She offers pick up or she can ship the flowers to your home! I absolutely recommend wood flowers as an alternative and Jen nailed my vision perfectly and my bouquets and wreaths were beautifully crafted.

I was referred to Wood & Word Blooms to check out their sola wood flower arrangements. Thank God! Not only are they GORGEOUS but - once the pandemic hit - we opted to have a minimony on our scheduled wedding date but push off the larger reception to 2022. Our flowers can chill out in our basement for a year without any problems or additional incurred costs. Not to mention, Jen is so easy to work with. She even popped a few fabric flowers into my bouquet! I definitely recommend Wood & Word Blooms!

Loved every moment working with Jen. She was accommodating (she didn’t have availability to do the flowers for the wedding, but she helped set up a DIY party where she walked me and my bridesmaids through making our own bouquets), responsive, talented, and just an overall absolute pleasure to work with. She made the flowers a clear focal point of the wedding!
