The food was absolutely fantastic! And our guests cannot stop talking about it. Everyone loved watching the food being prepared, how beautifully presented it was, and most importantly - how delicious it is! Choose Wood Fire Food! You can’t go wrong.

it to feel like a backyard wedding and 2) we wanted the food to be GOOD. As soon as we talked to Dan and his team, and heard the whole story of his company, we knew they were the perfect fit. For the food, they came up with a totally custom menu designed just for us, that incorporated not only our food preferences and seaside New England setting with lots of fresh and local ingredients especially seafood and shellfish, but also honored our Portuguese and Italian roots! The end result was an incredible menu that really told a story of who we are as a couple. The great thing about WFF is that the food really packs a punch with unreal, Michelin quality flavor combos, but it is all cooked and served in a way that feels like you could be at a family dinner table. Our guests could not stop raving about it! Also, not only did they do the food, but they were really a one-stop shop. They did all the alcohol, and supplied 3 killer Portuguese wines (that were so good I have since gone back and ordered some for home), and craft cocktails that would put any Manhattan speakeasy to shame. They also provided all of the furniture and serving ware for the entire event including the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, which made things super smooth and seamless for us especially since we didn't have a venue taking care of those details. On top of all that, their execution was absolutely flawless. George and I cannot recommend Dan and his team at Wood Fire Food highly enough! We hope we can have another event again in the future where we can have WOOD FIRE FOOD do the catering. Thank you Dan and Team!

were hoping for with WFF though. Dan was super flexible and excited to make all kinds of adjustments to the food and drink menus to really make it fit our style. We tried not to throw too many last minute curveballs, but Dan had everything covered and totally rolled with the punches. He also has an infectious confidence that help us keep cool headed: if we ever brought up something we thought might be a concern, or turn in to a problem, he was always already a step ahead and ready to solve it for us. He let us use, and helped us set up, a few of his fire pits as part of our wedding ceremony. The yummy smell of food cooking over open fires just wafted through the whole area all day, it was all amazing. TLDR: Couldn't recommend working with WFF enough. Everything they made was delicious, Dan is a great partner for putting a great event together, and his team was super on top of their game and made everything painless on the day of the wedding.

Working with Wood Fire was an absolute pleasure. To say they exceeded our expectations honestly feels like an understatement. After hearing out our general direction and guest dietary restrictions, Dan absolutely nailed the menu on the first try — no easy feat, considering just how particular we are. Getting married at an unconventional venue, we were also put greatly at ease knowing Wood Fire would handle all of our table, dish, and flatware rentals with pieces that were both on brand with our aesthetic and their format. Forgetting even the food, which was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be (and more), the level of thoughtfulness from every member of Dan's team was truly unreal. We didn't tell them our belated grand entrance/photo op distractions had us worried we'd miss the raw bar, or seeing the full culinary performance. Well, at the first natural opportunity, Stash hunted me down with a special raw bar platter prepared just for the bride and groom. The overall timing also worked out where we got to watch the best of the kitchen action. Guests raved as much about the servers as they did the food, which got the consistent review of "this was the best meal I've ever had in my life." Incredible people, next-level cuisine, and unrivaled creativity — a class act and well-oiled machine in every possible respect.

m our first phone conversation we felt very well taken care of and were so excited to see what the final menu would look like. Daniel created the menu based on our preferences, and dietary restrictions of our guests. Our tasting was one of the best meals we'd ever had and was made even more special by the intimate studio setting. Everything was cooked right there by Chef Denny (who is also fantastic) while Daniel educated us about the dishes, ingredients, and drinks. During and even after our wedding nearly every guest (and every single one of our other vendors) mentioned that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. There were basically no leftovers because everyone kept going back for more. A few people said they were stuffed! Even days later people were texting us saying how great the food was. We highly recommend Wood Fire Food. They create a menu of food and drink that is fantastic to enjoy and will make your event that much more memorable.

as a whole was incredible. My husband is a chef, and our number one priority was to have have our reception feel like a fun dinner party. The guests RAVED about the food - so unique, and definitely the best wedding food that we've had. They were also VERY conscious of allergies which we greatly appreciated. The woman running the show absolutely crushed it - she even personally brought appetizer plates to my husband and I to make sure we ate during cocktail hour! (THANK YOU!) We also had WFF provide the cake topper for us to cut into. Cake wasn't a huge priority for us (they made other desserts), but this was one of the BEST cakes we've had. Lemon thyme poppyseed - wish we had the recipe!! All in all - we LOVED this experience and would definitely do it again without question!! THANK YOU DAN AND TEAM!

Between Wood Fire Food's cooking/grilling set up to their staff to their thoughtfully paired dishes, it was the highlight of the evening. We worked with Wood Fire Food on the majority of our day of needs, ranging from food to tent, to equipment rentals, etc. Dan was extremely personable and made effort to get to know us personally and strived to create dishes that represented us and/or our tastes. In addition to all of the food preparation, they created handcrafted signature cocktails and identified wines to paired with our meals, all which were well received by our guests.
