I'm the groom from the Nate & Megan video on Woodroom's site. I resented the idea of a wedding video, especially after we just dropped X dollars on a photographer. Why do you need both?? ...truth is, you only need one. I've looked at my wedding photos once. We got an album. I wipe off the dust every now and then, but I don't open it. I watch the video about once a month; it reminds me why I married the love of my life, how much fun we all had and something that was so fleeting is forever now. Pictures cannot capture it or do it justice. Brian and Tim were consummate professionals. No lights in your face, no guest interviews, just the story of your day to song. I show people that have never met my wife the video. They watch, they cry, they say that's the best wedding video they've ever seen. Tradition would say your money is best spent on an excellent photographer. In my experience, your money is best spent on these guys making sure you'll never be able to forget the best day of your life.
