eir expertise to the point of complete control! They even worked the baker to design my cake! Everything was amazing!

re manageable. She assembled an incredible team of vendors, handled every detail with precision, and kept the day running seamlessly from start to finish. She also helped figure out complicated logistics so that I could arrive in a horse-drawn carriage, solving several problems along the way to make it happen. Because Nicole had everything under control, I was able to be completely present and carefree on our wedding day. My husband and I had the best day imaginable and will cherish the memories forever. I’m endlessly grateful for Nicole’s support and would recommend her to any couple looking for a planner.

Nicole's recommendations and extensive experience in the Charleston area were vital to our planning experience. She had relationships with vendors that allowed us to get discounts along the way. She had a great personality, and her experience and professionalism shined on our big day. She recommended the most amazing vendor team, including our florist, DJ, string trio, ceremony location, transportation team, and photographer. I couldn't be happier with everyone we worked with, and it was all thanks to Nicole. I can't sing her praises enough. I feel so blessed that I found her to work with. Thank you, Nicole!!

I tried. She was there for me every step of the way. She sent lots of recommended vendors who were all fabulous, was always available via text/call and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would gladly do it all again with Nicole :)

er to help come up with what we as a couple wanted! I really appreciated all the helpful guides before the big day. A lot goes into a wedding, and having those tips of what to have and when really helped me grasp what I needed and when. It was especially helpful for the day of checklist! With that I felt confident that I had everything in motion well before I needed it done, even if my family couldn't pick first dance songs! I especially appreciated your connections to vendors! I wouldn't have found such an amazing team without your suggestions. From Music to Photographers, everyone we used was amazing, and it is obvious that you have great taste in strategic partners to help make our big day that much more. During the day of she was invaluable, helping with everything from setup, coordination of where to be, and all in all an invaluable resource for us. The whole day went smoothly, and all my guests who interacted with the team loved them. I love all the little touches, and we smiled when we saw your name in our guestbook! The communication between Nicole and our other vendors was seamless. Nicole communicated our vision and helped ensure everyone was on the same page, and even got us some special songs played as a surprise for us when she told the DJ how big of nerds we are! Thank you Nicole for helping being our vision for our wedding to life, I really appreciate everything you did for us and our family during what I hear can be a stressful day for most. With you there I knew that if I needed anything or needed to be somewhere I could ask you or you would let me know where to be. I honestly was not stressed during the day of, even when problems started coming my way I would talk to you and I knew you were on it (even if it was to just assure my parents that there would be ample parking, they like to freak out like that).

ould tell how genuinely excited she was for us and how much she loves what she does! She went above and beyond from the very start, and we could not have done any of this without her by our side. Nicole we are so blessed to know you, we will always recommend you, and we hope to get to work together again one day for a vow renewal. Thank you endlessly, you are simply the best!

moments of stress and those little mental breakdowns, Nicole was always there to pick up the pieces and ensure everything was taken care of with grace and ease. Nicole wasn’t just my wedding planner—she became a close friend. We’d have 45-minute phone calls every day, getting so caught up in conversation that we’d lose track of time. Her warm personality and genuine passion for what she does made the entire planning process a joy. Nicole paid attention to every single detail I envisioned and went above and beyond to bring it to life. Seeing the reception for the first time was truly magical—I was completely in awe. It was even better than I had imagined! She poured so much time and effort into making our day perfect, and threw in a few surprises the morning of…& for that, I am forever grateful. s for everything. The week of the wedding and the day of, she was a calming presence and handled everything beautifully. I cannot thank her and her team enough for the perfect wedding day!

g my hair with hairspray before I walked down the aisle, packing us to go food from our wedding, AND most importantly the DESIGN. Nicole is so talented and our wedding turned out more beautiful than I thought possible!! She does not miss any of the little details. She even hand tied bows on 128 napkins. She was so great at handling our wedding party and we could not have done it without her!!

thout Nicole and her amazing team. She was beyond incredible!!! She always listened to me and was very attentive, and continuously gave me feedback and ideas. Day of wedding, she made sure that I and my husband were okay at all times and that everything went smooth. Overall, I 10/10 recommend Nicole!!!

got my shoes from our hotel down the street so i had something to change into. Nicole and her team were beyond wonderful! I was a hesitant bride and my now husband was the one who wanted the wedding and Nicole handled him and us so well so if you are in a similar boat she is def the planner for you!! If i did it all over again i would go with Nicole in a heartbeat!

answered calls/texts at any hour. She also has a great list of equally amazing vendors who she routinely works with. Nicole’s skills and expertise really shine on the wedding day. She managed the timeline and all communication with vendors so we could relax and enjoy the day. She had drinks and appetizers waiting for us after the ceremony. The reception space was set up beautifully. She even surprised us with a few personalized touches that I am so thankful for and will never forget! Our day was perfect, our guests were blown away, and it is all thanks to Nicole & her team!

during the planning process and gave invaluable expertise and recommendations The true magic of Nicole shined through on our wedding day. She set up EVERYTHING and executed the vision to a T. I didn’t have an ounce of stress on our wedding day all thanks to Nicole. She has the kind of passion and professionalism that is hard to find, it truly felt like she cared about our wedding as if it was her own. Just one example of how Nicole blew us away was late at night while we were dancing and having the time of our lives with friends and family Nicole (a very tiny woman) pulled up my dads giant truck and loaded up (very heavy) decor items from the ceremony. Not to be dramatic but she really was like a fairy god mother on our wedding day. Our wedding would not have been half as amazing as it was without Nicole and her team.

l I can say is she nailed it! She brought my ideas of a dream wedding to fruition and then some. She has aligned herself with the best vendors with an incredible working relationship, though remains loyal to you as the client. You come first! My wedding is over and we have nothing but wonderful memories. I will miss my many interactions with her.

t worrying about little details. She answered phone calls and texts whenever the hour, talked me off ledges, and helped me made decisions that I was unsure about. I cannot recommend Wood Weddings and Events enough.

truly completely stress free because of her. She thought of all the details that didn't even cross my mind, and handled all issues without even mentioning them-- again-- keeping me entirely stress free. She was worth every penny, and so nice to work with! She even worked with me after the wedding to get preview pictures from my photographer!

reach and I never felt rushed. She has great relationships with vendors making the planning and wedding day seamless for the wedding party and wedding guests. We also planned a rooftop bar crawl the day after our wedding. Nicole used her connections and recommendations so we could create an additional memorable experience for our guests. She is the BEST!!

there for me the entire day and worked her magic any time I needed something (hairspray, sewing kit, finding lost items etc..). Her bubbly energy is contagious and you can tell she truly loves her profession. Our day was PERFECT and we cannot thank Nicole enough ❤️

lp bring the whole event together while also being a stellar advocate for her bride and making sure they get what they have requested to make their dream day come true. I look forward to working with Nicole on many future events!

planned a destination wedding in Charleston and needed someone to be boots on the ground for us, give us access to a trusted vendor network, and make recommendations we would love. Nicole blew our expectations out of the water. She is organized, responsive, positive, and fun! I truly enjoyed wedding planning working with Nicole and am sad it’s over. Our day was seamless across multiple sites (getting ready, ceremony, reception all in different places) and it was executed with the best attention to detail and the exact way I envisioned it. At the end of the night I didn’t have to think twice about cleaning up as Nicole and her team ensured all I had to worry about was having the best day ever. I can’t say enough about how much I recommend Nicole. Our families have also raved about how great the event was and attribute it to her and her efforts!

area was extremely helpful and pulling off our wedding. We couldn’t be happy!

ention to detail and dedication to creating a seamless experience for both vendors and couples was truly remarkable. First and foremost, communication was impeccable. From our initial contact to the day of the wedding, Nicole kept everyone in the loop, ensuring that everyone was on the same page and ready to capture those perfect moments. This level of organization not only made my job easier but also contributed to a stress-free environment for the couple on their special day. One of the standout qualities of Nicole as a wedding planner was her ability to truly listen to the couple's vision and turn it into a reality. She took the time to understand their preferences, style, and unique personalities, incorporating personal touches that made the day truly unforgettable. Whether it was selecting the perfect venue, coordinating vendors, or managing the timeline, Nicole executed everything flawlessly, allowing me to focus on capturing every precious moment. Furthermore, her creativity and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the wedding. From the stunning floral arrangements to the exquisite table settings, every element was thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive and visually stunning atmosphere. This not only enhanced the beauty of the photographs but also added an extra layer of magic to the entire event. But perhaps what impressed me the most was her unwavering professionalism and calm demeanor, even in the face of unexpected challenges. From minor hiccups to last-minute changes, she handled everything with grace and poise, ensuring that the couple's day remained perfect from beginning to end. In conclusion, working with this wedding planner was an absolute delight, and I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to any couple looking to bring their dream wedding to life. Nicole's passion, expertise, and dedication shine through in everything she does, and I can't wait for the opportunity to collaborate with her in the future.

If you're looking for the best wedding planner in Charleston, look no further than Nicole. She's the epitome of excellence in her field, and I can't recommend her highly enough.

e about the wedding. They made sure everything ran smoothly on day of, but did so much more behind the scenes leading up to the wedding. My husband and I can’t recommend them enough!

was imperative. However, above it all was her professionalism, enthusiasm and absolute commitment to success that really endeared her to us. We felt like we were working with a best friend who wanted nothing more than to see everyone have their best day ever and she delivered! It was magical! There aren’t enough ways to say “thank you!” If you are looking for someone who really cares, Nicole will be there every step of the way!

ment, but we could not have pulled it off without her expertise! She was a tremendous help with rentals & lighting as well as with other vendors.. getting several quotes until it was all agreeable! And the coordination with all the vendors to make the magic happen day of… WOW!! She is amazing!!! We were very pleased with her professionalism, talent and energy! THANK YOU NICOLE!!

es to managing the entire day (start to finish). I can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work. She made the day absolutely perfect in every way! 🤍

l nail all the details of your event! As a 20 year pro, I highly recommend Nicole and her team. And she has built an awesome array of pro vendors as well! Happy planning!!!

and people told us it was the nicest wedding they have ever attended! She kept me so calm since weddings have a lot of moving parts, and her fun personality just kept us smiling all weekend! I HIGHLY recommend her if you need an AWESOME wedding planner!

table. We had our wedding at the Seabrook Island Club where she knows the ins and outs of the location. Nicole has the wedding planner personality where she is always up beat and bubbly. Please book her is wanting your wedding in the Charleston area.

made sure that everything was beyond PERFECT.

out, her energy lifted mine and I’m very glad she was there from start to finish!

or my wedding and she made sure it was displayed the way I wanted it. Due to the weather for my wedding, we had to change ceremony locations from outside to a covers area on a porch, it wasn’t where I wanted it but I trusted her and it turned out more beautiful than I had expected and didn’t regret not getting married at the other location. Nicole cares so much and I am so glad I hired her.

recommended wedding planners and after meeting with Nicole, we knew immediately that we did not need to look any further. Nicole’s enthusiasm, knowledge and experience was exactly what we were looking for. As the mother of the bride, I was assisting with the planning since I live locally and my daughter lives in Virginia. Nicole did an amazing job juggling between the two of us during the planning process and delicately helping to come up with solutions when my daughter’s vision and our budget weren’t quite aligning. She truly is a master at coming up with ideas to elevate décor, table settings and flowers without having an extravagant budget. Nicole was extremely helpful in providing recommendations for vendors and helping us finalize contracts with those we selected. Nicole has fabulous relationships with many of the local vendors and they all work together beautifully as a team. We selected Coastal Creations for our flowers, and we couldn’t have been happier with their creativity and perfection. Kim took our vision and created florals that exceeded every expectation! We selected Valerie and Ed for our photography, and we absolutely love the preview photos that we have seen. Nicole’s day of planning was so invaluable. Her itinerary was perfect, and everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and when. We used Meca Limo for our transportation needs which I would highly recommend as well. Nicole has a great relationship with this company as well and the coordination was flawless even with a few last-minute changes. Nicole’s attention to every detail during the ceremony and reception allowed my daughter and I to focus on our guests and enjoy every moment. I learned the day before the wedding that Nicole had been very sick the week before our wedding. She had been in the hospital as well. I absolutely would have never known this as she didn’t miss a beat! This is a true testament to Nicole’s commitment and dedication to her clients. She was still a bit under the weather on the day of the wedding, but you would never have known it. She truly was amazing! All our guests raved that this was the best wedding they ever attended, and we have Nicole Wood to thank for that.

ot of the vendors that I had for my wedding. Nicole allowed me to relax more and more closer to my wedding date because she had everything under control. My wedding went off without a hitch and couldn’t have asked for a better planner. I’m so grateful for the hard work her and her team did for me and my husband.

are a few reasons why: 1. Nicole’s vendor connections save you time and money. She is super-well connected in the events space and is friendly with so many high-quality vendors at every price point. Once we told her our vision, she provided detailed recommendations for potential vendors - photography, videography, florals, linens, rentals, transportation, hair & makeup, etc.. Her recommendations saved us TONS of time and helped us avoid the hassle and stress of finding, vetting, and getting quotes from a million different vendors. She helped us stay on track with our budget by providing options at various price points AND because of her strong relationships, she was able to get us discounts. She knows everyone in the space (and everyone knows her and loves working with her). 2. She advocates for her clients to ensure they are 100% satisfied on the Big Day. As someone who prefers a more natural makeup look, I left my makeup trial concerned that I wouldn’t look like myself on my wedding day. I shared these concerns with Nicole and within 15 minutes, she had spoken with the owner of the hair and makeup company, secured a second (free) makeup trial, and ensured that my makeup artist for the Wedding Day was changed to someone who is known for more natural looks. This switch made all the difference in the world and I couldn’t have been happier with my wedding day makeup! 3. She takes the stress out of wedding planning by ensuring every single detail is covered from start to finish. It’s hard to understand the number of details that go into planning a wedding until you’re actually doing it. There were SO many pieces that I wouldn’t have thought of if it weren’t for Nicole. Her proactiveness kept us on track every step of the way. 4. Nicole has the best, most positive energy!! She is the kind of person you want beside you throughout the many months of wedding planning and in the final moments before you walk down the aisle. She is as cool and calm as they come - which is super important during what can sometimes be a stressful process. She is kind, genuine, creative, brilliant, and FUN! She shoots for the stars and goes above and beyond in everything she does. These are just a few of the many reasons why Nicole and Wood Weddings and Events is the best of the best! We couldn’t recommend her more!

first phone call to the day of our wedding, she was so attentive and answered all my questions. She made sure I had everything I needed for the day off and helped find my DJ and photographer when my original photographer canceled on me last minute. She was efficient, organized, and knowledgeable. On the day of my wedding, she made me feel like the most important person and I was able to actually enjoy my wedding knowing that Nicole was taking care of everything! I highly recommend her!

fectly. We are so thankful to have worked with her!

day of coordinator Lindsay Nix was incredible! They both were available to be via email, phone call or text - pretty much from the moment I hired them. I was not local to the area at the time and they were so helpful with vendor recommendations and even emotional support when I was feeling stressed with decision making. I could NOT have done this without them. They thought of everything and would remind me of tiny details I would forget like tape for my photo guestbook. I know a lot of hard work went into the day of set up and I am so grateful to have had Wood Weddings and Events by my side. My wedding day was beautiful and incredible. 10/10 would recommend!

easant throughout the entire process & they helped us navigate through a few little hiccups that we encountered along the way. We were truly blown away the the amount of love that these ladies put into their clients. I'd like to think we're special but I'm pretty sure all of their clients feel the same way... the sign of an incredible wedding coordinator. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire them (if they're available that is:).

been the best person I could ever recommend for the job. I'll start with the lead-up to the wedding. For context, we purchased the full service package (but read the next paragraph if you are interested in her day-of coordination), and boy did she go above and beyond. During the whole planning process, Nicole didn't just understand our vision, she understood us as a couple. I was able to be as involved as I wanted to be through the whole thing, and when I had decision-fatigue, she stepped in. She helped me with every contract, every vendor, every insignificant question, every difficult challenge (wedding planning is stressful, and she had to be a therapist for me once or twice), every joyous moment, and most of all she helped us embrace the whole experience. For the day of the wedding, I could not have asked for a better coordinator. She kept the day moving and organized without letting it get chaotic for even a second. She made sure the ceremony went off without a hitch, but more than that, she made sure I appreciated the day. I wasn't a victim of the whirlwind weddings usually are because she made sure that I paused to take in the special moments and stayed engaged in what would make me happiest - like taking a breath before I walked down the aisle and insisting I dance during the end of the reception. When I walked into my reception venue, all I could say over and over again was "Nicole, what did you do?!" It was amazing. She turned my venue into a fairy tale that looked so effortless. She was unobtrusive on the day, only popping up when she was needed (EVERY TIME she was needed) and then fading into the background so everyone could enjoy. I never wanted for anything. She'd just pop up with whatever I needed before I even realized I needed it, like putting a drink in my hand or organizing the surprise grand exit for us (she knew we like surprises). She prioritized our comfort, joy, and the priorities we articulated before the wedding. She gave us the perfect wedding and the happiest day of my life. Thank you, Nicole.
